Now that there is evidence following this original testimony; I doubt we will see any action to get to the bottom of this to vindicate President Trump. President Trump is smart. He did not post anything of him mentioning the stolen election, nor does Jesse Morgan. His was just testimony of what went down and how odd certain aspects of the trip was to him without claiming to know the answers.

Hi Lydia, I have researched the so-called “investigation” of Barr and company. It lasted no more than 4 days. On November 9th 2020, Barr issued a memo authorizing his election task force (about 15 people) to investigate significant matters, if they became aware of them. On that day, the head of the task force, Richard Pilger, quit in a huff. 4 days later the rest of the group wrote a memo to Barr telling him that there was nothing to investigate so he should rescind his original memo. From that, we can surmise that no serious investigation took place after the 4 days. Nevertheless, Barr has allowed this “investigation” to be used as the evidence that there was no fraud in the election. He is a quack.

According to The New American’s Freedom Index (which is a Congressional Scorecard based on the U.S. Constitution), Senator Tim Scott, from SC, scored 68 (out of a possible total of 100). This score is based on his voting record – his ACTIONS.
Converting this score to an educational letter grade, that would be a D+.
He does not work to adhere to the U.S. Constitution, which IS his sworn duty.
Question for the air experts: We’re reading that the pilot and apparently all the occupants of the plane which crashed yesterday were unconscious, and the plane flew on auto-pilot until running out of fuel and then crashing.
Could the plane have been remotely removed from auto-pilot and safely landed? Or is that truly the stuff of science fiction?
Airline captain here – I have also flown the Citation. No, it cannot be controlled remotely from the ground. When the Autopilot is on it will fly the route in the LNAV — that’s Lateral Navigation and VNAV – Vertical Navigation, or what it was already programmed to do. It had already been programmed with the LNAV route to the destination, perhaps including an expected approach and runway. BUT the plane will not descend unless someone manually changes the altitude in the MCP – Mode Control Panel and tells it to descend. (You expect ATC to issue a lower clearance but don’t always get it – so wait til you are actually cleared.) Looks like no one entered the lower altitude so it stayed level til it ran out of gas.
As for the turn – flight path is consistent with aircraft turning (LNAV) where expected to turn but no lower altitude entered. Once it passes the last point on the LNAV flight plan it does not know where to go — so it ‘reverts’ to HDG – heading mode and just flies straight ahead. Take a look at the approach charts and flight plan and you will see exactly where the human action was required. Looks to me like it passed the last point, reverted to HDG and then continued straight until it ran out of fuel.
There was very likely a pressurization problem. At FL340 – 34000’MSL there are only seconds to get O2 on, and if you’re not expecting it, hard to comply in time. Or problem with O2 system. If it was just the pilots there would have been frantic radio calls from some novice passengers. Most likely pressurization leak took out the whole plane – pax and crew – before anyone knew what was happening.
Every now and then it happens.

I remember a couple decades ago this same thing happened with a private jet carrying golfer Payne Stewart.
Exactly the same issue. In that case the airplane had just come out of maintenance. We will never know whether the crew caught the problem and tried their quick-donning masks or not. It would not have saved them. NTSB investigation found that the crew oxygen had been shut off at the source for maintenance and was not turned back on. This is a safety hazard, and some changes in procedures were made after that accident. In some airplanes you can do the proper preflight check which shows sufficient O2 quantity and pressure, but it does not check if the flow is on. Now preflight includes actually selecting the O2 on and letting it run to the mask for a minute to verify actual flow is … flowing. Every procedure is written in blood of lessons learned.
