There is a new Jim Caviezel movie coming out on July 4th that deserves some attention. Sound of Freedom is a new Angel Original production, based on the incredible true story of a former government agent turned freedom fighter who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue dozens of children from modern-day slavery.
Long-term Treepers will remember the deep diving research we did into the issues of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC’s) during the first term of the Obama era. You cannot go into that world without finding the issue of trafficked children; it is a dark and horrific issue that few can truly fathom. Stephen K Bannon had Jim Caveziel on War Room for a solid hour a few weeks ago. Segments of this movie were shown. JC is an amazing actor but more importantly, a magnificent vessel for the word of God. This movie opens in my neck of the woods on 7/4. It’s marked on my calendar and I will go see it.

Caviezel told Bannon that the film has been completed for several years but they couldn’t get it distributed in theaters. It will only be in a few theaters July 4th but the advance sale of 2M tickets (their goal) will get it distributed in more theaters. I saw Bannon’s interview with Caviezel a couple weeks back, and would love to support the film on principle and in practice… but I also know that it’d just be too difficult to actually watch the movie, despite how good and important it may be. :^(

I clicked on an AMC theatre for my zip code, in FL, bought 4 tix, then realized the link had actually taken me to a theatre somewhere in TN.
I re-tried, didn’t buy, but it did the same thing. Link bug. I then chose a Regal theatre locally and all went perfectly.

I watched the Bannon interview and it re-affirmed of what a person in MN told me about the child trafficking here from the Canadian border onward. It is sick.
When I considered how we got here, many names and events come to mind.
Pre WW I Europe was sexually promiscuous, and the interbellum period was equally vile, especially in Germany. America remained untainted, in the majority. But Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood spread her sexual promiscuity and eugenic philosophy throughput the high society of the US.
WW 2 cleaned up the holocaust, but the evil vapors of fascism remained both in Europe and transferred to the US via CIA operation Paperclip.
Then we Hugh Heffner and his buddy Saul Alinsky, the Weather underground, sexual “revolution”, contraception, abortion, definition of “brain death” and associated human organ trafficking, the selling of human baby parts, and you can see as the parts became dehumanized, the whole body/person lost all its value as well. The legalization of sodomy was next, and now we cannot even define a woman!
Very gradual forced acceptance of aberrations got us where we cannot tell what evil is.

I have had tickets for my wife and I for the July 4th showing and sent the need to see this to our life group and at any opportune moment. I have been aware of this level and depth of this darkness for around 5-6 years. I too stopped digging into the depths because it is too sick and evil. But it is so sad to see all levels of our country involved, even some of our so called Christian charities.

He also plays Luke in the movie “Paul, Apostle of Christ” a phenomenal movie that truly brings home what is was like for Christians in Rome when Paul was jailed and executed as Luke stayed with him night after Night and took his testimony for the book of Acts. The movie touched me deeply.

I agree that based on Hollywood productions and the written word SOME slaves from the Africa to America journey back in the early 1800s was a terrible time. Thank God they landed in America where the USA eventually made laws against it. This country saw many slaves who survived the trip (a trip provided at the hands of their brothers in Africa), went on to become land owners and be educated. Life was not easy. Heck, life wasn’t even easy for millions of white people just trying to survive too.

They relocate them in dens called Hotels with fancy names and from there they move them wherever in the dark of night. I know of one Honduran family that landed in Arkansas without money or language and left to survive. American, being good neighbors helped until they couldn’t anymore. Then the boogy man showed up in a Mercedes van one night and moved them all to the East Coast. If that isn’t trafficking, I don’t know what is.
