In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it canβt be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly wonβt be done. The Foundersβ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.
Whenever the possibility presents, throw sand into the machinery…

What Kari Lake and team are practicing here is Alinskyβs 5th rule for radicals – RIDICULE
Trump did and does the same and beat his opponents into oblivion.
The intellectual right tries to be above this – because they donβt realize theyβre being shot at and that this is an all-out war for a free future.

In case you were wondering about how a βGOPβ governor managed to slip through the 2022 Nevada Dropbox cheatfest, wonder no longer.

Sisolak was a disaster of a Governor, even by Nevada standards, so no way he was going to win re-election, even by the heavy-democrat leaning Clark county (Vegas area) voters.
Working the polls that day, the people coming in to vote in person were on edge, easy to see which ones were addicted to Rachel Maddow and which were addicted to Fox news, all ready to jump at any hint of poll worker misdeeds who were indeed being watched like a hawk by poll observers, closely watched as if we were all just waiting to do some dastardly deed.
Good times. Recommend all MAGA voters volunteer at the next election to work the polls.
Make no mistake, since Sheriff Joe Arpaio was knocked out, Maricopa County has become the corruption cesspool of the west, if not the nation.
The other Sheriff Joe went along with the corruption in Nevada and has now left citizens vulnerable to the same corrupt courts that are persecuting president Trump.
A Tale of Two “Sheriff Joes”
https://skeshel.substack.com/p/a-tale-of-two-sheriff-joes
As a former county election official, I am against these types of laws establishing election authorities as some sort of “protected class.” I met with concerned members of the public, at the front counter, all the time. With rare exception it was the best part of the job, the reason I ran twice. My approach was one of maximum transparency, publishing all the required notices of public tests and so on. I used radio and newspaper (both print and electronic). I never felt threatened. I tried to cultivate good relations with our local constabulary and they were usually around when we were processing returns late on election night.
A former election official in our state, now a legislator, seems enthusiastically and persistently in favor of some sort of bill creating a special crime category of this nature. I wish she would just go away.

Your daily harping that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote is tiresome, donnie.

Ridiculous.

FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday offered to let House Oversight Chair James Comer view an internal law enforcement document at FBI headquarters that Republicans believe will shed light on an allegation that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal scheme with a foreign national, the chairman said in a statement.

New Evidence Found in Maricopa: Tabulators Had Wrong Data Base and Machine Behavior Settings During 2022 Election

Maricopa County Secretly Tested the Tabulators- To Ensure They Would Fail
WATCH: 9 MIN
https://electionoversight.substack.com/p/maricopa-county-secretly-tested-the
Yikes. In my state, pre-testing is supposed to be public, advertised, overseen by bipartisan judge teams and the tabulators get locked down after passing the pre-test. Election authority is supposed to keep track of the unique seal numbers, as are the judges at the polls. Wrong number–>alarm bells go off. Process gets repeated after the election. If post-test doesn’t show same as pre-test–>alarm bells again.
It all requires very meticulous attention from the election authority, and is extremely tiring, but that’s what the law says to do.

I knew it wouldn’t take the Taliban two shakes of a goats tail to start shipping those weapons joketato left behind to the Cartels.
Let’s say that this missile cost $10 million dollars. (I don’t know the actual price offhand …) If ten percent of this price is paid to “The Big Guyβ’” and appropriate other percentages are paid to “The Swampβ’,” no one really cares to ask questions about these “amazing(!) military-industrial profit figures.” No one really cares where all this hardware winds up, after it has been sold.ο»Ώ
Just like “nobody ever asks questions about the stupendous profits earned by ‘Cold Medicines.'” Sure, they’ll talk all about “the scourge of ‘Meth,'” as long as it doesn’t interfere with profits earned by selling its one irreplaceable chemical component.
I can attest that the launcher the cartel member is carrying is an AT-4 not a Javelin, that being said you donβt want to be down range when either weapon is fired at you. However is does show how easily they try to mislead the general public.

Fox News host Jesse Watters weighs in on the contentious 2024 GOP primary race on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
JESSE WATTERS: That’s a good line. Trump, if elected, can only serve four years. DeSantis can serve eight, but so far, DeSantis isn’t moving the needle at all. A new poll shows DeSantis is only up 2% since he announced. That’s not a bump at all. I expected a lot bigger bump.
Even though polls are pretty unreliable at this stage, we’re still waiting for the DeSantis take-off, if there ever is one, and tomorrow night, Donald Trump is going to be on “Hannity” for the town hall. Republican voters are going to be able to ask the president questions and last time Trump did a town hall, millions watched. It was a two-day news cycle and it broke CNN.

I listened to Rich Baris’ podcast today. He will be coming out with poll numbers Friday.
However, he said from what he is seeing so far from raw numbers without final adjustments, he does not see a bounce. Maybe 2% bumb….which he says is just statistical noise.
If so, that would be consistent with Morning Consult Poll above.
The house of We the People
Our nation is like a great house that was built over 250 years ago. This house was built on the strongest designed foundations ever conceived, The Constitution of United States of America. This foundation was so well made that other new nations who later would build their own new homes would copy this design.
At first this house of the Americans would have only 13 rooms but as the years and decades came and went the owners of this house would add on until eventually it was a mansion with 50 grand rooms. Like any home there is always something that needs to be fixed, repaired or brought up to date and the owners of this house would use the materials and methods known to them at that time to conduct such necessities.
Unfortunately sometimes these repairs or upgrades where not always done in the best wayβ¦shortcuts, substandard materials or graft where common practices. Not because the owners didnβt love their great home but the owners, being human, are susceptible to greed and laziness.
Eventually like with any old house the owners reach a conundrum, they wish to improve their home even more but they are unable to build any further because the old materials and methods used will not support the new construction.
In order for the owners to achieve their dream of building a better home for themselves the decision to tear the great house down to its foundation and rebuild anew with modern materials and means in order to ensure a home for them that is stronger and designed to last for future generations is made.
This is well within the rights of We the People, the blood was shed over 250 years ago.β¨TEC 8/5/21
The US Constitution was the most perfect document that was ever conceived because it was written by a moral and just group of men who worked hard and diligently to create something that would last and benefit ALL the citizens of its nation.

Pride month begins June 1st. This is a good time to remind others what Gay Pride means:
Pride is one of the seven deadly sins, which are pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth1. Pride is a sense of one’s self-worth that is out of proportion to reality1. It is normally counted as the first of the deadly sins, because it can and often does lead to the commission of other sins in order to feed one’s pride1. Pride is also the excessive belief in one’s abilities, such that you don’t give credit to God, and the failure to give others credit due them2.
If you have the time, the James O’Keefe interview on Timcast was fantastic. The discussion went very deep into spiritual issues and human frailty, the benefits of pain that strengthens one for the fight, James’s own experience with spiritual oppression in DC, and his having to fight not to have his soul co-opted by the evil forces, and more.
There were a lot of white pills.
God bless James O’Keefe and the gang at Timcast. Really good evening.
It’s getting harder and harder to believe that anyone in the Congress has America’s back. This debt ceiling fiasco of a bill passes with the help of 52 democrats? Time for McCarthy to go. (And my representative, too, Rob Wittman, CD-1, VA, for voting yes.) Maybe it will fail in the Senate (doubtful, I know).
Our local CBS news is now reporting that President Trump talked about a secret document having to do with attacking Iran.
Blah, blah, blah.
Probably ramping up for more charges.
