One of the key aspects to noticing a controlled candidate is the speech, cadence and distinct linguistics used during prepared remarks.
When a candidate is authentic in delivery of advocacy points, their speech is a natural flow of thoughts and ideas they create in verbal delivery. However, when a politician is delivering a speech constructed for them, using the thoughts of others, you will notice a cadence constructed around a series of soundbites that are strung together.
Ron DeSantis kicked-off his official Iowa campaign today literally reading prepared remarks that did not come from his own thought processes. When delivering a speech from the thoughts of others, there is an emphasis on the reading of it; in the example we highlight today with DeSantis the reading is extreme. You can see below.
This is not to say that speech writers are not useful, they are. Almost all politicians use speech writers to assist them in putting their thoughts into words to assist communication. The key is to use the candidates’ thoughts. However, when the thoughts themselves are not from the candidate, there is a very different outcome in delivery.
This is what becomes very visible with Ron DeSantis.
As candidates, Dr. Ben Carson and Newt Gingrich wrote most of their speech scripts and delivered their own thoughts on points of policy and advocacy. President Trump also communicates his own thoughts through speeches written from them. When the thoughts are from the candidate, you will notice a tone of authenticity in the delivery. Speeches delivered by people like Tucker Carlson and Jordan Peterson also communicate with authenticity because the thoughts conveyed are their own.
Conversely, in traditional politics there are candidates who do not convey their own thoughts and end up reading speeches that are disjointed with emphasis misplaced, syllables in wrong context, and carrying an odd syntax and cadence. The more disconnected from the thoughts of the reader, the odder the delivery.
The worst examples of reading other people’s thoughts to assist their own communication, come from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg. Governor Nikki Haley also struggles with this, and to a lesser extent so does Mike Pence and other well-known republicans.
Three of the more noticeable political figures, somewhere in the middle of the extremes was Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush and George ‘Dubya’ Bush. The best orator to transfer the thoughts of others into his own linguistic delivery was probably Barack Obama. One of the reasons for Obama’s success was due to his team all having the same ideological outlooks. Obama delivered convincing words because his thoughts and the thoughts of his speech writers were in synergy.
The bottom line is that when a political operation is poll-testing, highly managed and heavily scripted, there is a noticeable lack of authenticity in the speeches of the candidate. The reason is quite simple; the speeches are assembled from disconnected ‘talking points’ or ‘soundbites’ and then an effort is put toward sequencing them for candidate communication.
Once you notice the issue of reading the ‘thoughts of others‘ it is almost impossible not to see it when you watch the speech being delivered. This issue is very clear today in the remarks from Ron DeSantis in Iowa. Unbeknownst to most casual political observers, DeSantis has always been heavily influenced and managed by others throughout his career. However, now it is starting to become more noticeable.
The venue is a mega-church in Des Moines. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds introduces Ron DeSantis to the church audience, and immediately the Florida governor starts reading the script. Watch how much time he spends literally reading the words. WATCH for a minute and you will see:
.

Ron needs to recognize that his advisors gave him God awful advice and he’s nowhere even remotely close to being ready for a Presidential run .
He’s embarrassing himself .
Yeah, but he’s got 10 million reasons to disagree with you. They don’t call him Rob for nothing
no. I want him to keep going.. will be fun to watch
I almost feel guilty, having fun watching him destroy himself.
He could care less what he looks like or how bad he comes off, no pressure because his efforts aren’t meant to end up anywhere before he’s done. He’s not trying to be pres, just needs to divert away from T for awhile and he gets his payday
Nice work if you can get it
Yes, he is trying to be President. His wife Casey wants it.
After 3 years of Branden embarrassing the nation, some people may not be able to tell the difference anymore.
Napolean once said, “Never interrupt your enemy whiles he’s in the process of destroying himself.”
Also I don’t think the Meatball is self aware enough to realize he’s embarrassing himself — I mean the only reason he became Governor was due to Pres. Trump… and now he believes he can easily topple him? I mean ChatGPT has more self awareness than DeSantus at this point!
he will never be ready
he is a phony
RDS drank the koolaid, his handlers have over inflated his ego, and he has bought into the concept of tell where to go and what to say and I will be a good little puppet. Wait till they destroy him.
Still trying to snark at Trump for cancelling an OUTDOOR rally due to weather concerns. If only Meatball’s crowds were so big he had to hold outdoor rallies.
That’s about all I could stomach.
Yep. He cites good weather as his reason to have this event in the same area he condemned PDJT for canceling due to a tornado warning, and he can’t even see his own shameless hypocrisy and lack of grace.
All I have to say about Ron is….ugha.
I didn’t watch much of it, but the man is a dolt.
Honestly, what comes to mind he is the ventriloquists dummy.
My imagination can see all his “handlers” yanking the strings.
A “ stuffed shirt” with absolutely no spark.
It is quite something that he is the best that President Trumps enemies have come up with.
Cheers!
That is such an important point:
“It is quite something that he is the best that President Trump’s enemies have come up with.”
We need to hammer this point home again and again.
I love seeing the picture from behind. It gives you feel for the level of organic support he has in Iowa.< 100 people.
What they don’t show is the additional hundreds of overflow at this location…..
“I loved seeing the picture from behind”.
Me too.
After noticing ” the level of organic support” ie number of people who showed up, I listen to their “organic” reactions to Rons words.
Peoples responses were polite and tepid while seeming to want a reason to genuinely clap more.
Finally, I noticed the huge and only sign on the right.
I laughed out loud when I realized that the only word that could be read, because it was the only word written using giant ALL CAP letters, was “COMEBACK”.
A word spell COMMAND issued by the Establishment Republican Machine to voters?
If so, lol. Their commands have even less power than they did in 2015. Thank God.

First, Casey gets a big fail for the dress she chose for this occasion – Melania does it so much better. Second, I love you Sundance but sorry I have to disagree about Obama. I never understood why people said he was such a great orator. If you enjoy stuttering, and hearing someone say uh, uh, uh about 50 times, maybe. He could not hold a candle to Reagan, let alone JFK.
Good to see your comment re Obama – I also could not understand why anyone thought he was a good speaker – he always sounds to me like a pothead dullard – plus, he is a liar and I don’t like to listen to liars.
Obammy, pardon me for saying, was “good” at speaking because he followed a rubric prescribed by leftist university doctrine.
His protocol was right out of the CC speech 101 handbook.
Eye contact (searching the room)
Visual distractions (rolled up sleeves, hand movements, being black)
Pathos/Ethos (empathy and ethical emphasis, obviously a fail in logos)
Patient pauses after points.
Controlled cadence, pace.
Spirited, to the point emphasis, on policy, with no explanations.
Obammy hits so many grading points, that are taught to undergrads in their speech classes,
land it’s no coincidence. It’s because Obammy was trying to register with young, college educated,
liberals.
Not saying that makes him good at speaking, it just made him effective.
Kind of like Hitler.
The message is garbled ridiculousness, but he gets an A for meeting the rubric.
“Visual distractions (rolled up sleeves, hand movements, being black)”
ESPECIALLY…. being black.
It was funny when Rush would read part of an Obama speech as it would be spoken by a human. Nothing but cliches and nonsense.
Then it was even funnier when Rush would go into his Obama voice….
When Obama was first campaigning, a young man in Chicago told how he listened to Obama speak when he was still a Community Organizer and he couldn’t remember a thing he said afterwards, but he described it as being a hypnotic experience.
Hidden Hypnotic Language Technique!
He was follow up to newcleelar Bush, young and hip in comparison, spot on he was trying to register w/the college idiots.
Same here. I could not stand to listen to him because I found him so arrogant. He came across as believing he was the smartest person in the room. I felt talked down to.
I could also not handle the ssssssss’s. Like a hissing snake.
I never understood what people saw in him. He was just an arrogant, liar pushing evil ideas that had already been tried and had failed miserably.
Plus, he hated America as founded…it was so obvious!
perhaps the media told us Obama was a good/great/excellent speaker LOL
Well, that’s because he is a pothead. Check his eyes the next time you see him talking. Why do you think he makes those yearly trips to Hawaii to hang with his choom gang? Store bought pot doesn’t compare to Kona gold.
Anybody that voted for Obama the first time, needed their head examined. Anybody voting for him a second time should be brought up on charges!
The first time, the Uniparty MAY have cheated, the second time they DEFINETLY cheated, bearing in mind ballot fraud is only ONE aspect of manipulating election results to thwart the will of the people, and another is who the opponent is.
Additionally, anyone who voted for McCain or Romney might benefit for a head and heart examination followed by some soul searching.
I voted and volunteered for Ron Paul both in ’08 & ’12.
“Your vote is the currency of your conscience.”
I think I heard B1 Bob Dornan, of all people, say that on the ’96 campaign trail.
Yeah, well, we were still in the “lesser of two evils” mindset back then. I know it’s a poor excuse for choosing either one of those RINOS, but it is what it is.
I agree with you. The first time I heard him speak I was taken by his oration for maybe minute or two. Then the ugliness somehow came through and I could understand why people didn’t see through him.
Zero’s haughty metronomic cadence is nauseating.
That’s very well put.
Sincere question:
After listening to .McCain and Romney speak did “the ugliness” come through as quickly as it did when you heard Obama speak?
If not, perhaps it would be worth figuring out why not.
I never could stand McCain from the first time I saw him. So in his case, the word that came to mind was sleaze and it was apparent to me immediately. I did feel sorry for what happened to him in VietNam, but have since learned more about that.
As for Romney, I somehow convinced myself he knew what he was talking about in terms of business, which I think we need in leaders. So no, it took me a while to hone in on where he was coming from. I did vote for him but it was a nose holding exercise. Now I wouldn’t do that. Now I would write in the candidate I want (which of course is our one and only President Trump).
Cozette — I want to add one more comment to my reply about Romney. I grew up in a suburb of Salt Lake City next to the ski resorts. Everyone in the area thought Romney did a great job for the Olympics and I saw first hand the improvements for Salt Lake’s infrastructure (for example new freeways and improved traffic flows) and was impressed at what he did. The whole situation taught me a lesson. I believed Romney was a skilled businessman and that therefore he could be a good political leader. I later came to see both things weren’t true.
The situation was somewhat reminiscent of Bloomberg’s run for President. I think most of us immediately knew Bloomberg was a bust. By then we had witnessed the special genius of President Trump. What he brought to the table and accomplished is unheard of in our political system and in my opinion the world.
My first reaction on hearing Obama speak was that he was trying to emulate the tone and cadence of MLK. He wanted his words to ring throughout history. It struck me as fake right off the bat.
“Then the ugliness came through and I couldn’t understand why people didn’t see through him.”
People see a lot of things, yet “pretend not to know” what they see. Like Sundance says: It’s time to stop pretending and call a spade a spade, and I agree. But who will hear?
Matthew 13:9-16
“Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given.”
Not everyone possesses a spiritual key to *hear* the Word of God. It is therefore unwise to waste our breath on the unbelievers.
2 Corinthians 6:17
“Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
With faith comes the realization that everything unfolds in God’s time, and according to God’s plan. Our cups runneth over, but unbelievers, like pigs, belly up to the trough since their hunger can never be satisfied.
Matthew 22:21
“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.”
Meatball will get his.. all in due time.
I agree with you and thank you for the quotes. I’ll copy them out and keep them by my desk. I strongly believe in “all in due time.”
I’m working hard on doing what I can but also on “accepting.” I pray for understanding and guidance, but mostly what I’ve felt in the last years is shock and anger. I think I’m getting closer to acceptance and “all in due time.”
Besides praying, I try to follow Sundance’s advice to live your best life. Mostly where I am now is I don’t want to needlessly ruin hours in my everyday life with emotion that doesn’t do any good.
Obama stuttered when he was talking off the cuff. Because he’s so empty. But he read his speeches okay.
.
Good on the teleprompter.
.
JFK was a very overrated speaker. His delivery was quite good. The substance of his speeches was often inane drivel. Hearing JFK delivering a speech was much different than reading the text. Old Joe Kennedy paid very good wordsmiths like Arthur Krock and Teddy Sorenson to come up with a lot of his empty rhetoric.
“The substance of his speeches was often inane drivel.”
I disagree, at least in this specific instance…… ‘the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living……’
I agree. The content of JFKs speeches are even more powerful now than they were when first delivered.
In many ways, KDS reminds me of TDS.
Fortunately, I’ve recovered from the former and never had the later.
Exactly – who would dare to give a speech like this today?
I agree. That uh,uh,uh was a distraction while he was picking your pocket…
Read what Sundance said.
After articulating this way off watching public speakers,..speak (I am betting no one who has read that will ever NOT see that difference, again!) he said the Obammy was pretty good at reading remarks prepared by OTHERS, and its because of the close “groupthink” of he and his advisors. What Sundance describes, is also a significant factor, in what we describe as “authenticity”.
When speakers are speaking their own mind, sharing their own thoughts, rather than saying THOUGHTS of others, written for them, they are “authentic”.
Taken a step farther, I have done some public speaking and I never use a written speech.
I have a rough outline, of notes, to take things in a logical,,sequential order and not leave any important point out.
And, I have some idea on HOW I will express certain points, analogies etc. in my head.
This makes it far more like I am just having a conversation with the audience, and it is the most “authentic” and engaging way.
PDJT going “off script” is a perfect example of this, I notice Kari Lake does it, as well.
“Rob” would have been better off emulating that, rather than PDJT’s hand gestures.
Fwiw I’ve noticed that people who self identify using political party labels, whether republican or democrat, tend to be easier to trigger when cue words are seen or heard.
For traditional republicans, Obama is a definite trigger word that shuts down cognitive abilities just like a shot of booze does.
While I understand Obamas potency as an emotional trigger word, I’m genuinely surprised that JFK still triggers CTH readers.
I did read what Sundance said. I simply believe that Obama was not good at speaking, whether it was his own or others’ ideas. Anyone who continually stutters and says uh, uh over and over is someone who does not believe what he himself is saying. Sorry to disagree with anyone who thinks O was a good orator. As I said he does not compare with Reagan or JFK.
Main point is barry believed what he was spewing. Ron doesn’t have a clue. I absolutely despise listening to both of them.
I believe Sundance was talking about Obama being an “orator”.
That is very different, in my opinion, than talking of the cuff in an interview.
Obama did deliver his political speeches very grandly and quite fluently. That is why we found him a stumbler in interviews.
Yes, I know Sundance and many others think O was a great orator. Sorry I have a different opinion. I could not stand to listen to him with all his disjointed “uhs” that he repeated endlessly. Great orators do not do that.
Obama “chunked” his sentences using pauses and hand gestures according to the Hidden Hypnotic Language Technique he was taught to use in his speeches. He would begin with a truthful statement such as I stand here before you today. Then he would plant the lie afterward. This was a clever way to disable the listener’s critical thinking ability.
It was developed by a man who used it in his psychotherapy practice in order to get patients to let down their defense mechanisms. The aim was to achieve a healthier outcome for the patient. As with many “good” inventions it was subverted by evildoers to enable the election of an anti-American traitor.
If I remember correctly that was the aim of the original technique.
What Sundance said was Obama read the teleprompter very well because he read words that were ideologically similar to his, unlike most who simply read unfamiliar words in a strange manner.
He didn’t say Obama was a great orator.
The uh uh uhs interlaced with I I Is and me me mes.
So many thoughts to rearrange
It all becomes rather strange
With false faces
The truth erases
With an avalanche of lies
Dancing in hiss eyes!
Clever!
.
I have two thoughts.
First, it doesn’t look like a fun gathering.
Second, total agreement on the speech-reading. A good speaker doesn’t read a speech; he knows the speech, maybe just has a checklist to remind him of the points he wants to cover, and he is able to look at and interact with his audience.
And a third thought… wow, what a difference compared with Trump. DeSantis isn’t close to being in the same league.
.
Not at all, and as you note, he doesn’t interact well with audiences.
In a speech posted here a couple weeks back he had no idea how to respond to audience applause.
He clenched his hands together and looked down at the podium, curled up into himself; very insecure.
Such a stiff…and a bit whiny. Total phony!
The forced voice is unbearable.
He sounds nothing like he does when speaking normally as Florida Governor. Night and day.difference.
This was the exact thing I noticed too. Sounds totally different than when he speaks as Governor…totally fake.
Yes!!!!
“Hello Iowa.”
Were these original thoughts or had he memorized the first two words of the prepared remarks before he opened up the folder with the speech that had been prepared for him?
So non-authentic as to be boring just watching Ron! deliver his sound bites.
Because as PDJT said, the last thing you eant to do is say “Hello Ohio” when you are in Iowa; thats one you don’t recover from.
Kinda like telling the kid potato has an “e” on the end, lol.
LOL
He did seem to be reading his “Hello Iowa” greeting.
I often watch a person talking with the SOUND OFF.
Watch the eyes, hands and all body language.
Me, too. Then with the sound on, and my eyes closed.
Then both watching and listening, but then I am a political junkie.
VERY different speech, depending on how you take it in.
OMG me too. And yes, I too am a “political junkie” who has also always been personally and professionally fascinated by all forms of communication and persuasion.
Desantis Announcement speech on Twitter space was sound on eyes closed. Forced to listen to desantis read his pre-recorded script
There is nothing close to “presidential” about this man’s thought process and speaking capabilities.
Representatives Byron Donalds and even (Never-Trumper) Chip Roy comes to mind. When they speak, their words mean what they say, along with their passionate believes behind each word.
We are watching President Trump helping a person who was limited but was loyal to the America First cause. Now, that he is no longer a part of that because he has been paid-off, (which President Trump weighed prior to endorsing him for Governor), DeSanctus is now fully exposed for who and what he truly is.
Certainly not Presidential Material and now fully exposed, perhaps not even Governor material?
He seems like a kid, a little kid. He’s been told what to say, what to do, how to act — and he doesn’t have the “act” down (yet!). He’s not comfortable in public. How did he ever become a politician?
💵 Plus grooming
Good heavens, that is bad. Since he trained as a lawyer, it is strange that he has such poor delivery skills and the obvious fact he is reading from someone else’s ideas indicates insecurity about what he says. President Trump will eat him alive.
A lot of legal work is tedious paperwork, and especially in the military. I’d be surprised if he ever tried a jury trial.
Yup, there are lawyers, and there are LITIGATORS.
Postscript:
Ron says:
Thank God for creating the words: Ahhhhh and BUT!!!!
Filler words, while thinking of what you’re going to say next and what your affect must be
Meatball has the filler words down, but he doesn’t know what “affect” means
I could not stick with this.
Mo Ron
No Mo Ron!!
Sundance –
You appear to be anointed. Your journalistic skills are unmatched. The accuracy level of truth is astounding.
God bless you and your helpers.
Godspeed.
Amen.
How bad is RDS? Everything he read off the papers are from speeches he has given in the past without ever looking down or even needing the papers. He has become a machine of the handlers. It really shows how little he believes in himself. And he has good reason not to!
It’s apparent Gov! is not a likable guy. The more people are exposed to him, the worse his numbers are. And Casey! isn’t helping. Neither did today’s Bible reading.
As unlikable as Hillary was, at least Bill had charisma. That’s not the case here. RdS is so creepy, more and more people are saying it on twitter. How do you overcome “I’m the sweaty pervert from high school ” stigma?
There’s no way to make Ronnie cool, hip, or savvy. And that Sea Island getaway might just be to discuss how wrong the billionaire club was in selecting Ron!, please clap.
👏👏👏
Oh sheesh, that was terrible. He looks so ill prepared & awkward.
You do have to admit, DeSantis is a good reader.
The little of his speech I did watch, I don’t think he mispronounced one word.
That being said, the words he read weren’t his own.
It was like whoever wrote the speech couldn’t decide on a particular theme, and so shoveled every anti-Biden talking point into one big sack.
I’m no English major, nor did I even graduate college.
But that speech was all over the place and really disjointed.
SubwayRat;
Thats because it wasn’t written by ONE persin, it was written by a COMMITTEE.
And thats why it sounded like a CAMEL; a horse designed by committee.
Its not just that they weren’t his OWN thoughts, its that they were the thoights of John, Betty, Frank, Joe and a little from Mary, and in all likelyhood NONE of them, his own.
C grade, average ie “good reader” == pronunciation accuracy.
Great reader == engaging, persuasive delivery even if the words are banal.
Big, big crowd!!! Go Meathead Ron
Good Grief !
We cannot take this anymore
Are we to stand back and accept this as our future ” Leader “.
There is no leader in that one.
HA
Everything we are watching now is an elaborate fraud but nobody can keep a fraud going forever.
I have a sense that our nation has descended into such a widespread national deceit it MUST come to an abrupt end in the near future.
The world is too big and complicated to be controlled forever by a few liars and con artists.
Even the most hardcore on the Left cannot control everything in a smooth-running conspiracy. Just look at how they want to kick Dianne Feinstein out of the Senate but she has become a zombie they can’t control. Even Joe Biden is wandering around like The Walking Dead and can’t cross a room without guidance.
We can see how the fantasy world the Left wants to keep us locked inside by bald-faced lies has collided with the outer walls of the movie set of The Truman Show.
Our America has now become like a long novel with all the pages of entire chapters torn out so that nothing happening ties together or makes any sense anymore.
Good movie actors can make you suspend belief for a while as you watch, but bad actors, such as Ron DeSantis, make you jump up and run out of the theater in disgust.
Brilliant
The world is too big and complicated to be controlled forever by a few liars and con artists.
So very, very true.
Western “Democracies” with the U.S. as its leader are sinking fast.
This RDS dork is blethering on hours after Moscow was struck by drones from the Ukraine.
Syria is in high level discussions with Moscow, Saudis are getting close to joking BRICS.
Geesh, and this twit is expected to deal with Putin, Assad, the Saudi Royalty, Xi.
F*#k me!
😂😂😂
Agree Dekeseter, gnome nailed it.
In case you didn’t notice, the con artists have total mind control of 90% of the population.
Go over to CFP, Instadundit, or PJmedia and the comments are uniformly anti-Trump.
People like us always overestimate our strength. And we aren’t that smart either. Remember when Gaetz and MTG were going to be the saviors of the House?
Hmmm. Not sure about that.
Fraud pure and simple is the only reason President Trump is not in the W.H. Kari Lake not Governor and the Senate and Congress not solid R.
Of course as we know the RINOs were complicit.
Cheers!
Thanks for the heads up.
Rather than only hanging out in comfy echo chambers when on line, hopefully more people will spend more time in comment sections to help heal, as quickly as possible, readers on other sites who are still suffering from psyop damage.
Archie, I only read the comments in the 🌴🏠…BUT….everyday I talk to real people both on the phone and in person, around the country and in my neighborhood, male and female, blue collar and white collar, rural and metro types, and every single day I am reminded how much love and support there is for our VSGPDJT.
Trump supporters outnumber both parties…and THEY know it.
We’re a Big Club…but they ain’t in it!…to paraphrase George Carlin.
they have always been anti Trump
What the heck.
It is all about him vs Trump is all about MAGA and Us Everyday Americans.
And that’s why I couldn’t bear to listen to him for more than 5 minutes – and that was excruciating. It was so very obvious.
Poor speaker . . . I almost felt sorry for him.
What I suggest though, when you comment, not here, but, say, on YouTube (when they allow for comments) or any other space which includes lefties and other assorted animals, do NOT be too cruel to de Santis. At some point we WILL need Florida, too.
My modus operandi is to say: Good speech, Ron! TRUMP 2024!!!
The Floridians we will need already hate Ron.
Most of those that don’t soon will.
Even those running him will hate him for how poorly their puppet performed.
I’m a Floridian, and I concur!
So are you saying it is a lose/lose situation for Ron?
I like those odds!
Hi ya Maquis!
Howdy Bam! 😉
Lose/lose in terms of Rons future career as an elected politician.
However, my guess is that he was offered an Paul Ryan reward for ending that career; an offer that he, and Casey, chose not to refuse.
Mammon or MAGA?
Obviously, Ron and Casey did not choose MAGA.
Most of FL will hate him as their car and homeowners insurance needs renewing
No no no. Ron is just not ready for prime time. I watched a bit of his speech live earlier- no excitement at all for me & hub. There is only one – President Donald J. Trump. That’s all.
Sundance, I’m glad you wrote about this, because I noticed his delivery and then thought maybe I was just picking on him. He’s reading so fast that he has run-on sentences, and it does sound disjointed. He also copies other people’s thoughts and phrases. He also tries to copy Trumps poses and phrases. He’s a weird guy.
Imo, Ron is NOT comfy interacting with strangers/the public.
He WAS comfy when he imitated charismatic and confident President Trumps mannerisms and delivery.
However, once his handlers insisted that he had to stop imitating President Trump, poor Ron became even more uncomfy, insecure, and inauthentic in public than he was before he began imitating Trump.
Ron reminds me of a horribly insecure boy who is suddenly without his soothingvbinky while under the most stress he’s ever been under in his life.
Caseys ambitious cruelty, in many ways, reminds me of Dr Jill.
Casey Macbeth.
Inauthenticity is always obvious.
He must be the child of Jeb! & Ms Grahamnesty.
As an old friend once told me, “I have listened to thousands of speeches; but few of them have changed my opinion, not one of them has changed my vote.”
Too bad but his voice just gets on your nerves and the reading the script really is too much.He has had experience talking with the Florida community and he comes off more authentic. Applause applause applause from the audience. Tht gets on my nerves too.. sorry but no where close to Trumps presence
I’m interested in an analysis on Mr “born on the eight day” DeSantis’ military careers. Did he torture Gitmo prisoners?
https://thecovidblog.com/2023/05/30/2024-presidential-election-determines-who-controls-u-s-during-pivotal-2025-2028-years-of-the-great-reset-while-desantis-new-york-pass-laws-to-facilitate-their-agendas/
Clown.
This could be fun…..for us. Meatball…not so much.
TRUMP OR BUST!!
I wonder why Youtube turned off comments?
Wow! That is embarrassing! I was a speech and debate coach when my kids were in high school and I would never have allowed them to compete if they had been this wooden and unprepared!
No wonder there’s an emergency meeting on Sea Island this weekend! The wheels have clearly come off the DeSantis train and they need to come up with a plan B immediately!
That was my initial thought too VikingMom…yet Dutchman, who reads much more than I do, disagrees.
Dutch thinks, and I now tend to agree, that the Sea Island crowd is too far along with RDS.
There is no Plan B because, in my words, they never ever once thought they would need a Plan B.
So why the Sea Island meeting?
My guess, for one, to tell everyone to Never Back Down. And to maybe speed up some of the game plan that was not on the schedule for months from now.
“Obama delivered convincing words because his thoughts and the thoughts of his speech writers were in synergy”
No…….. guilty white liberals voted for him and enough dumb conservatives thought that voting for what could be The First American African President [registered trademark] would end once and for all the notion that the US still engaged in slavery.
Limbaugh took Obama apart and even Hannity had a few good thoughts on his associations with Wright and Fleger (or whatever that white priest’s name is). It is as if God wanted to US to fail.
He was, at best the first 1/2 Black, 1/2 White POTUS.
The Mulatto Messiah.
Those who suffer from TDS are too triggered to listen dispassionately when Trump speaks.
The same is true for those with ODS.
Fortunately, Sundance doesn’t have TDS, ODS or any other DS. Consequently, his observations and analysis are free of emotional toxins and insightful.
Noticed a stark difference in DeSantis’ public speaking. Prior to running, his speech and body language showed confidence and control.
Not so much now, and it’s getting worse.
Painful to watch. Painful to listen to. No charisma. So not inspiring! So plastic!
George Burns said the key is sincerity.
Once you can fake that, you got it made.
Hillary’s basket of deplorables speech, the worst speech from a mainstream American politician that I’ve ever heard, was no doubt the product of a small and cloistered group of fanatics who never exposed themselves to other ideas.
Kamala seemed to learn from Hillary to speak in banalities and double talk, but never let a true opinion break through.

Botched face Pushaw is calling this a “rally”?🤣🤣🤣Hope DeSimps will attend the “rallies” when there are tornados. No sympathy!
Cont…
Small attendance. Anyone watching?…..
Whew. Talk about a dependent couple.
He can’t even get on stage without her.
Then, notice how she just stands there in her little blue sundress like “look at me, look at me.”
These people simply do not have what it takes. They are an embarrassment.
I wonder how much the attendees were paid. You know, with all those billions they’re blowing around in the wind.
They are not so subtley pushing YOUTH (the sun dress).
Joe was picked (since they knew whoever they installed was going to have a very unpopular Presidency) specifically to lay the groundwork for “Trumps to old”.
And RDS and his Casey are supposed to radiate youth and vitality.
Subtle as a brick, and some WILL fall for it.
If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.
The Cabal told Meatball to take what remnant of his moral core he had and put it in a jar..maybe, maybe, they would let him take it out later
This sounds like a read-through for a one man play.
This analysis of first DeSantis rally is not by a GOP friendly guy, but it still seems pretty fair and accurate ….

🚨 GOP LAUNCH REVIEW🚨
First images of Ron DeSantis’ first event as a candidate are out!
My knee-jerk reaction is: mediocre at very best.
Will link my earlier threads about this weird venue choice below

Seems to me like a real disconnect between the first rally and the narrative they tried to falsely build after his twitter campaign announcement of more viewers/more money/ more excitement, etc.
DeSantis was a better speaker when running for governor because he was living and experiencing what was happening in his state, and didn’t need to read a speech.
I agree that Mrs. DeSantis’ dress is wildly inappropriate, her sundress reminded me of the dresses my mother and her sisters used to wear for family gatherings in the summer … in the 50s.
That being said, I would still be a diehard Trump supporter even were Melania not always as impeccably and appropriately dressed as she is.
It’s the policies.
Yeah, I thought Casey DeSantis was dressed for an outdoor fair or picnic too.
Southern Bell summer frock.
There does not appear to be many people at that venue for Desantis in Iowa, and he always seems to be totally uneasy with the people around him, He just cant seem to connect with the crowd and reads his speeches unlike President Trump who can talk for hours and take any and all questions coming at him, Poor Desantis, He has to hit President Trump on something that Joe Biden may have already gotten rid of ( The first step act) was talked about a lot by the right and the left and many blacks was given time out of jail because of that but they all had to work hard to get out, He just didn’t go there and open the gates and let them out as Biden has done. and one word of advice for Desantis You sir, will never come close to filling President Trumps shoes if you work for the rest of your life,
RdS also voted for that bill!
“Great American Comeback” is what the poster says in the last photo.
“Comeback” is just an uninspiring choice of words. And the shortened version is GAC. Come on advertising guys! LOL
Don’t forget, his annoying, whiney, lisp….
