Why Are These Biden Officials Leaving Their Top Posts?
Recently several (the Sane ones) administration official who were working on China and Ukraine policies announced to step back or retire. The people in question were not neo-conservative China hawks like Secretary of State Anthony Blinken or National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. The unexpected loss of top sane hands has me concerned that there is some big move in planning that will damage U.S. relations with China and Russia even more than they already are:
The head of a new US State Department unit tasked to coordinate efforts aimed at countering Beijing plans to step down next month, the department’s second high-ranking official with a China portfolio to announce a departure in less than two weeks.
Rick Waters, head of the State Department’s recently created Office of China Coordination, and known informally as its “China House”, will leave the position just six months after it was established to manage what Secretary of State Antony Blinken called “the scale and the scope of the challenge” posed by the country.
The career State Department official will “rotate out” of the unit and the Office of Taiwan Coordination on June 23 “as part of the Department’s normal summer transition process,” according to a State Department spokesman.
There was no reason given why Waters was moved aside. This comes shortly after an even more important figure suddenly decided to retire:

Thus, the organization gets populated “automatically” by unethical people as a process of elimination. And the higher you go the more unethical you must be.

Hear me out on something else, tell me what you think.
The US isn’t in this Ukraine war to win. Winning has nothing to do with it. They have been throwing OLD armaments into Ukraine from NATO, EU and the US….both western weapons and Soviet style munitions to clean out the closets amongst the allies. The F-16 is another case in point. A 40-year old (but decent) aircraft.
The U.S. wants to deliberately empty everyone’s cupboards and re-fill the empty shelves while attempting to exhaust Russian military and war supplies with the old stuff. The U.S. doesn’t care how long this takes or how many military or civilians die. Collateral damage is part of the deal. The longer this takes, the better because more money for everybody and Russia gets tired.
While exhausting Russia, the U.S. will be re-arming NATO with the latest in modern weapons and have time to train.With a weakened Russia and a renewed and strengthened NATO, the U.S. will be able (they think) to take on China in a few years with the good stuff that everyone is re-armed with. That’s why the China war is scheduled for several years out with the goal to strengthen NATO allies and cripple Russia, but some time is needed to do this for the big game ahead. We are now in this interim period of manufacturing the good stuff for eventual replacement.
This extended war with Russia also allows the U.S. see how Russian munitions perform against MIC equipment so that the MIC can make adjustments now with the idea that Russia will be sharing their armaments with China for the big war and the MIC will need to outperform them.
I suspect this is part of their strategy, and if right, it’s a pretty smart one.
I don’t particularly approve of it, but it is smart if you are evil and if the goal is both Russia’s and China’s downfall down the road.

People might not want to treat “crypto” as just one thing. There is a difference between Stable Coins and proof-of-work block chains like BitCoin. They should not be grouped together. So you can sell many more stable coins than you have dollars to cover them operating under the assumption that everyone won’t ask to exchange stable coins for dollars at the same time. Thanks. Read the article, and it looks like just a head fake or hope by the Dems. For various political reasons the article author doesn’t believe McConnell will get involved. The general sense is that McCarthy’s Speakership would be in jeopardy if he caves to a McConnell plan and that McCarthy would never get the House to agree to any Dem friendlier alternative coming from McConnell.
And that’s the power of the MAGA caucus in the House —and that’s why the 15 rounds of voting for McCarthy in January was so key. It forced McCarthy to agree to House rules changes that pressure, control create the new McCarthy 2.0.

I liked your idea of if the GOPe traitors somehow box out PDJT from taking his rightful spot as the Presidential candidate (where all real republicans should be rallying to PDJT) of the GOP, a backup plan of becoming the candidate for the Constitution party if it does have all 50 states for access. PDJT is the one candidate who could win as a third party if needed. There would be a problem with congress of course, and that would be an obstacle of course, that’s why they created the dialectic political system they have here. And, what are the actions to save your job? Regulations! Yes, more regulations to keep us safe. Just like we have the CDC, NIH, etc. to save us from covid! They are trying to screw us right out of the gate. LIARS!
I have been looking forward to AI for years. I have looking forward to medical expertise in a box, so to speak, to diagnose diseases cheaply and accurately. That is one of the implication of AI. Yes, high expertise jobs will change and they will – count on it. However, the changes should cause an explosion of jobs. Consider this: Suppose that you have high quality medical expertise at your finger tips. Plus, you have some instrument(s) that allows the robo-doc to diagnose you, ie, camera, small radar sensor, ultrasound, etc. You can get a pretty good initial diagnosis of your ailment. And, if it is cheap then people all over the world will want it and pay good money for it. Respectively, it is still more cheap then sending a doctor for a house call.
A powerful market pull for such devices will developed for the retail, that is, consumer market. Perhaps, it will have by then cheap robotics to assist. Second, there will be many companies making the brains, the AI, for medical diagnosis. You will have companies that specialize in orthopedic areas. Other areas will be dental. Extremely powerful market forces will compel people to make their fortunes there.
And, you know what? These AI’s will not be woke. As our computers become even more powerful and open databases for training are provided then you will have AI’s for various tasks, electricians, plumbing, programming, etc. There will be an explosion of companies (thus, hiring people ) to do this. And, the AI’s will tell you straight what is happening.
These jerks, the Google execs, hospital execs, etc., do not want this because they see the writing on the wall too. I hate to say this. My government does not want it either. That is why they are holding the hearings in the first place.
So, the regulations ‘to save us’ will be made to restrict industry, drive up prices, drive down income, and cause AI to be exclusive to huge corporations and government to control information and expertise.
That is all this charade is as described in the article. Yet, again, they demonstrate that they really hate us.

In a way, you are making my point. You can have teams of doctors and engineers making AI with hardware units for diagnosis and prescribe treatment. The cost of medicine will go down — that is why they want regulations now to head that off. If we have several AI medicinal companies out there then the truth can come out.
Look, I get you. I understand. And, I agree. What I want to head off or warn about is those stupid ‘certificate of need’ that does nothing but increase health care costs. What should happen is a plurality of companies do medical and even specializing.
When Uber took off, I was celebrating the fact that one does need a taxi medallion to do business. I was looking for a plurality of uber like companies to increase the pay of drivers, provide cheaper car fare, and increase quality of service. However, a slew of regulations passed which basically restricted this market to uber and lyft. It does not take much material to create these type of companies: servers and apps on phones.. The networking infrastructure is already exists. I am not talking about staffing the company itself or the drivers.
Every huge city should have its own service(s). There should be about 10 companies in a state. I am talking about true competition. The business would have changed to include truck drivers for shipment. But, this business was severely restricted by regulation after a spate of bad press of people being attacked by drivers, which has been going on for years in the taxi business. There was no added restrictions for the usual taxi drivers because it is already overly regulated. It is not about our safety it is about monopolies and screwing us yet again.
A medical research journalist, who trained and worked IN medical research, and so knows how to read medical research studies, as well as the politics of medical research was recently reviewing a research paper that had been published.
It was a standard research paper, that has been done every year for 30+ years on “Americas eating habits” and the methodology has been thoroughly reviewed and validated.
10,000 Drs across the country include an extra questionaire for patients to fill out when they come for an appt.
It lists all major foods and drinks and asks them how often they consume them;
Beef, poultry, fish green vegetables, fruits, nuts, chocolate, pastries, ice cream, coffee, soda, milk, etc.
Once a day, 2-3 x’s/week, a month, never. The Dr includes the questionaire on patients history and family history (chronic diseases) removing personal identifier info, and a brief medical description of the patient: Age, race, gender, height, weight, etc.
Researchers then compile this data, and this is the basis for dietary reccomendations of FDA, and the medical community.
Anyway, the researcher found something BURIED in the data, that was “startling”, and so went to previous studies to confirm.
Sure enough, previous studies showed the same data, ALSO buried in the data, so that you REALLY had to LOOK for it, in footnotes and appendices and the “raw data”.
People who eat ice cream, 2 or more times/ week, have a 22 percent lower risk of diabetes, 17 percent lower risk of artheriosclerosis.
Percentages in such reports, like in weather aren’t like Vegas, 22 percent “chance of rain” virtually guarantees rain, and 22 percent lower risk of diabetes means you ain’t gonna get it.
The author concluded that the first researcher to uncover this, knowing the editors of medical journals wouldn’t publish there report if this was highlighted, and if they did the report would be discredited, simply buried the data, and every researcher after did the same thing.
Because the data doesn’t tell them what they want to hear.
Any true AI program will HAVE to be “controlled” so that it doesn’t tell the many, many truths that are buried in the data, because they challenge paradigms, and threaten revenue streams in the 10’s of Billions.
There is an inexpensive to produce analogue of a hormone our bodies produce, which increases the activity of the immune system, specifically in the upper respiratory tract, which would be excellent both as a prophlyactic and early treatment for Covid, Flu or any upper respiratory infection.
Its been available since the 70’s, it has several other desirable effects (weight loss, sexual disfunction and protection from skin cancer) and yet for the most part sits on a shelf, unmarketed to the masses.
It can’t be patented, and can only be administered like insulin, by injection.
