In the fifth week since the Bud Light backlash began, the latest scan data released shows a worsening drop in sales. The overall trend now shows Bud Light has lost a full quarter of its market position, dropping 23.6% in unit volume and -27.7% in dollar sales.
Despite these dollar losses, the parent company does not seem willing to address the root cause. Despite North American sales impacts, the Diversity Equity and Inclusion outlook of the Anheuser-Busch global company is still strongly entrenched in the branding. It does not appear the company is going to modify anything as the very vocal Alphabet ideologues have them captive.
(Washington Examiner) – Bud Light sales are down for a fifth straight week as the financial beating endured by the Anheuser-Busch brand following its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney appears to have no end in sight.
Sales of Bud Light fell 23.6% for the week ending on May 6 compared to numbers recorded in 2022, according to a report citing data acquired by Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ. (read more)
Previously – Across the United States, wholesalers are on the hook for inventories of Bud Light and Budweiser products that no one is buying. These products have an expiration date, thanks in part to the A/B freshness campaign long ago created. The wholesalers have to swap out the close-dated products that are not being sold in retailers and restaurants. The wholesalers are then stuck with out-of-date product and turn back to the corporate office for help.
From reporting in the Wall Street Journal, Anheuser-Busch (A/B) is telling the wholesalers to give the product free to their employees rather than dump it. By law, they cannot give it away to consumers, and they cannot cross promote the beer by “bundling” alcohol with another CPG product (ie, buy chips, get free beer).
The story is being promoted as A/B being magnanimous in giving the beer to the employees; however, in reality as the product hits its expiration or sell-by date, A/B only has that option, other than to dump it in the garbage and recycle the containers.
Democrats/liberals and their related ilk all have an inbred genetic deficiency that prevents them from connecting the dots – reality, action, consequence and responsibility. Bud-Lite is nothing more than another company that ventured into the woke/inclusive vortex that denigrates their major existing customer base while expecting business to grow. When the inevitable sales flat line and basement vector occurs, the oblivious woke/inclusive geniuses that initiated the disaster just double down believing that more of their collective BS dumped down the chute on customer’s heads is the corrective solution.
To be fair WC, those wokester company execs have no choice- they are have bought into the DEI and ESG social score system. Blackrock owns them….Blackrock and DC pols are the purveyors of the DEI and ESG BS….they are the borg. Where one borg goes they all go.
Well Adidas must be thinking the same.

Just goes to show that just because your the head honcho of a big company doesn’t mean you’ve got a brain.
Meanwhile, the Mexican beers are selling like crazy here in NC. Gee, I wonder why?
Only when real Americans wake up from the satanic woketarded insanity and stop paying for the corrupting destruction of a once great Christian nation by boycotting every stinking degenerate company that is pushing this evil – will things return to normal.
Prophet Robin Bullock said “There are only 2 genders, those that know Jesus and those that dont”.
“Woke Advertising” harms companies, shareholders, employees and their families.
Why would any company choose to reduce its clientele through marketing?
Truth is Bud Light is not the only company pursuing this agenda.
Who is suggesting/forcing companies to promote these lifestyles?
Is it the Passive investment shareholder Board member? Vanguard, Blackrock etc?
Need to pursue this a little more as it does not make sense.
Why would any company choose to reduce its clientele through marketing?

They are conducting a humiliation ritual against the American people.
This isn’t about profits. It’s about their power and America’s submission.
They are all taking one for the “Team”.
I remember hearing that there are only about four companies that own stocks of about 90% of everything there is in the world. Covid closed a ton of Mom and Pop businesses.
Black Rock, VanGuard are the two that own the most. So I am guessing that they have control of all brewery companies, so they had Anheiser Busch step up and take the punch for the Breweries. They had For step up and take the punch for the automobile industry. I think that they are experimenting with Adidas and Nike to see if they make multiple popular sporting goods brands step up to take the punch if the people would cave because they have to have their sporting good brands?
EVIL!
Yes. Blackrock and Vangaurd.
For me that’s why the Fox and Dominion settlement is hilarious. Blackrock sued themselves and used the lawsuit to cover for removing the conservative voices such as Tucker and Laura. Blackrock sued themselves and then agreed to moving money from one of their businesses to another. Nothing but a shell game. But to those who don’t understand this…..it looks like two companies battling it out.
A good parallel would be Pepsi suing Gatorade and then Gatorade settling with Pepsi. Gatorade is a subsidiary of Pepsi.
I have noted in my post above that I believe THEY DO NOT CARE and they also believe that nothing bad will happen to them from an economic prospective.
I also believe that those who participate in deviant sexual relationships will sooner or later lose their freaking minds. I think that is playing out now and we watch as they twitch and wrangle with themselves as they know they are just plain wrong!
It’s called the ESG and DEI index. These companies get rated and scored. Their stock values, etc. are dictated by how deep they wade into the woke ocean.

In the 1980s one of the most popular beer brands in America was Schlitz.
Schlitz switched to cheaper formula (substituting corn syrup for barley malt) and sales collapsed.
The brand name Schlitz still exists in theory but not really.
There are several parallels to the Bud Light debacle:
Big corporations are like ocean liners – they change direction slowly, and course corrections take even longer.
Big corporations that depend so much on marketing have contempt for the customers. Schlitz customers detected the flavor degradation immediately, and the Schlitz executives refused to backtrack (like Bud Light, they lied).
Beer suffers from a short shelf life, and the cheaper grade Schlitz spoiled faster. Long-time loyal customers found themselves with skunky beer. The Bud Light executives are now faced with a ticking clock as their beer inexorably goes bad.
And the faith of the modern corporate executive in marketing is a wondrous thing to behold. Rarely rewarded but always present, even oppressive.
Now do Stroh’s
Bud is rice beer. Rice has no business being in beer. I can’t boycott what I would never drink in the first place! I’ll stick to my Miller Lite, the original light beer. That, and an occasional New England IPA or Double IPA …
Do you drink Stella? Goose Island? Fosters? And yes, Miller beers- owned by South African brewers a subsidiary of you guessed it, INBev, the owners of AB.
https://www.businessinsider.com/what-beer-brands-does-ab-inbev-own-2015-11
Miller is owned by Molson-Coors.
So you agree with the woke morons that run Molson-Coors? They own Miller.
Yippie! Some places it’d down to 99 cents for a 24-pack. 🙂
15 dollars for 24 pack and restaurants are pushing 2 for 1
Corporations repeatedly insult and crap all over the populace. Adding insult to energy, we are all suppose to remain good, little —brain dead sheeple—and continue to purchase their products.
Cutting off their money is such a great pleasure.
“The Road to Serfdom” by by F.A. Hayek. A book that must be read to understand the Economic World Stage of today.
Don’t rush out and buy a copy of his book but know this: Hayek knew the danger that the world economy faced with monopoly business models. He also knew the danger of Totalitarianism governments. For F.A. Hayek, he is an expert, in my opinion, of understanding that the collectivist idea of empowering government with increasing economic control would lead to war and deep economic unrest for the world.
I prefer the unedited edition of Hayek’s book. However, the version edited by Bruce Caldwell, “The Definitive Edition” is available for the deep thinkers.
Vote with your wallet daily.
The woke madness, affecting every corporation in the world, isn’t going to be deterred by consumer boycotts. Disney is the latest victim of the ESG business model. With institutional ownership amounting to 40% now and as much as 60% during the last couple of years, their loyalty is still tied to the WEF- Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street etc community.
This battle is going to be fought for a long time to come. The conservative right, centrist portion of the US, need competitors to the existing monolithic kind. The ever increasing interest rates, over regulatory environment and public/private partnerships act as a forever growing barriers to entry. Federalism offers us some additional opportunities to chip away at them, with Red States passing legislation to pull pension/investment funds out from the ESG pushing Davos crowd but even if every Red State passed similar legislation, it would hardly make a significant dent. Not to mention the current economic state of the US makes it increasingly more difficult for a majority of Americans to maintain their savings, let alone IRA’s.
Rich, IMO, you are correct in everything you have written. We are not where we are because of Obama and Biden but they have not shirked their duty to a man called Klaus Schwab and his vision.
I call it the Law of Unintended Secondary Consequences. Or, to put it simply, Get Woke, Go Broke! …
I believe that the DAVOS Billionaires are truly running and endorsing this show called the New World Order.
I believe that we need to keep track of our elected officials as well as corporate folks who attend the DAVOS meetings. They are much like those who went to Epstein Island. They can’t be trusted with sitting your dog or cat!
That is why companies like Anheuser-Bush, Target, Addidas, et.al. do not care one bit if they lose a fortune. They have an expanded empire within their businesses and their goal is now power, not wealth. They already have wealth and think that this New World Economy will always be their for them.
Oh, many will just jump out of windows from high rise buildings sooner or later if this crap keeps up. Since our youth haven’t been taught about the Deep Depression of the late 20s and 30s, they will be shocked. But, when the banks fail or the new money doesn’t reward them with continued wealth, it will get ugly.
Look at Elon Musk. He was riding high and then he flirted with Tucker Carlson. They shut him down like a broken elevator going nowhere.
Anheuser Busch is wanting more equity in employee demographics. Only 40% are female and
who knows how any are White?
Maybe the Dylan controversy was to tank demand for the product as a way to lay-off workers due to
lack of sales. Then guess who’ll be hired to replace them when it demand inevitably returns?
I’m glad that the Bud Light and general Anheuser-Busch InBev boycott is working as it has sent a strong message that normal, grassroot people hate trannyism and have the financial clout to fight back against it.
Bud Light is even discounted and selling poorly here in the St. Louis bi-state area which is significant as Anheuser-Busch was headquartered in St. Louis before selling out to InBev and becoming headquartered in Leuven, Belgium.
I abhor the establishment’s current push to normalize trannyism as well as the fact that every mainstream news article, including those from the supposedly conservative Fox and other Murdoch owned media outlets, refers to the Bud Light tranny with female pronouns.
That is absurd as one doesn’t magically change their sex by trying to make themselves look like the opposite sex or by identifying as the opposite sex You remain the sex you were born with for the duration of your life whether you like it or not.
It’s bizarre that the Bud Light can celebrating the tranny includes the phrase “Cheers to 365 days of being a girl,” as if one can magically turn themselves into the opposite sex.
It’s disgusting that employers, schools, and other establishment institutions expect and demand that their employees and students comply with the pronouns of choice of trannies. I will not comply with another person’s delusions about their sexual identity.
I appreciate that Sundance’s articles on the topic refer to the Bud Light tranny as a “transgender man” and not a transgender woman as establishment sources do.
The Bud Light tranny is an obnoxious male who is mockingly imitating females. He should only be referred to as a male with male pronouns.
Voting with your dollars and your feet by not patronizing, affiliating with, or otherwise supporting woke institutions is important. Voting with your dollars is the most effective way to make your voice heard and to effect change.
Some oddly argue that voting with your dollars is somehow bad or not in line with conservative values which is bizarre. Supporting bad behavior with your money is what is truly bad. No one is obligated to spend money with institutions that engage in bad behavior or do not reflect one’s values.
Part of the reason so many institutions have gone woke is that they think that the money will keep flowing in no matter what they do.
I hate everything to do with woke diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) garbage. DEI needs to be vigorously, strongly, and openly opposed.
DEI is currently the dominant ideology operating within most establishment institutions including companies, schools, governments, religious institutions, and others.
Since many people naturally side with power, they feel the need to align themselves with the DEI people who hold power, even if this alignment is done superficially. This is especially true when money is at stake for not playing along with the DEI garbage.
This is wrong. People need to have the courage to stand up for what is right and against what is wrong even if the side representing wrong is the side in power.
When companies, schools, and other institutions hire DEI people and implement DEI policies in order to give the public appearance that they are supportive of DEI, they are showing weakness and capitulating to the demands of the hysterical, woke DEI crowd.
Institutions and people in power need the courage of conviction to stand up against DEI and wokism in general even if it means being protested from the DEI and woke crowd and losing money from woke aligned sources.
The DEI and woke people are only powerful because people fear them and capitulate to them. They are bullies who wield disproportionate power because people fear them and they control monetary sources.
The highly successful Bud Light boycott demonstrates that most normal grassroot people are anti woke and anti DEI. It’s absurd that institutions insist on ingratiating themselves to the woke minority.
Institutions shouldn’t care if some woke group protests them or gives them a bad DEI score. Money lost from woke funding sources can be made up elsewhere. It isn’t worth selling one’s soul to woke advocates in return for their money.
The people who actually care about DEI scores are a tiny minority that shouldn’t be catered to. I’m personally seeking companies that have bad DEI scores due to them standing up to wokery. I’m tired of woke institutions of all types and will gladly support the ones that aren’t woke.
The Bud Light tranny episode highlights that institutions oddly care more about offending woke people and organizations than offending large numbers of their core customer base.
Wokism is antithetical to free speech as it is militantly against any dissent and often views dissent as aggression or hatred. Wokism is militant about forcing woke ideology onto others.
It is now being reported that A/B is using this ad campaign to sell Bud Light to underage children which will later get locked into its product taught and promoted of current public school’s teaching agenda. A/B knows that they are big enough to wait 10-15 years. I watched Camel cigarettes use Joe Kool billboards to promote smoking to young children. It worked. I know of people, now adults, who smoke, wait for it, Camels.
