Last week it was reported that Anheuser-Busch CEO Michel Doukeris told investors during a conference call that Budweiser product sales drops in the U.S. and North America were no big deal when contrast against the global sales of the brand. “The Bud Light volume decline in the US over the first three weeks of April, as publicly reported, would represent around 1% of our overall global volumes for that period,” Doukeris said on the call. He focused attention on the company’s global reach, saying that Bud Light is just one beer within its portfolio and it’s not changing the company’s full-year outlook. {link}
Apparently, USA beer drinkers, specifically those who do not want to be identified as transgender men, are an insignificant bunch amid the world of beer drinking consumers. However, Doukeris might start paying a little more attention as the decline in total A-B products in North America is starting to become more significant. {Source}
It’s interesting that Coors Light and Miller Lite have sales increases surpassing the sales decline of Bud Light. This would seem to indicate hard brand switches, but Anheuser-Busch in North America held the corporate line and yesterday {source} told their distributors not to worry.
ST. LOUIS – Anheuser-Busch’s distributors from around the country met in St. Louis on Thursday. They heard firsthand about changes being made regarding the Bud Light transgender controversy.
Anheuser-Busch invited the distributors to the downtown Hyatt hotel for a yearly meeting on summer marketing plans. It was the first such meeting since transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s viral social media posts with Bud Light in early April. She received a special edition can with her picture on it.
Market analysts report Bud Light sales are still down more than 20% for the past month. Bud Light boycotts appear to be driving down sales of fellow Anheuser-Busch brands like Budweiser and Michelob Ultra, which are down but not as sharply.
[…] They appeared to adopt a “deflect and downplay” strategy, which almost never works. […] An Anheuser-Busch spokesperson confirms the company informed distributors of major changes in marketing structure, issuing the following statement:
“We regularly bring our wholesaler partners and leadership together to share upcoming brand and business plans. Hosting our May meeting in St. Louis is something we started last year and is an opportunity to bring our partners together in our hometown.
We have communicated some next steps with our internal teams and wholesaler partners. First, we made it clear that the safety and welfare of our employees and our partners is our top priority. Second, Todd Allen was appointed Vice President of Bud Light reporting directly to Benoit Garbe, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer. Third, we made some adjustments to streamline the structure of our marketing function to reduce layers so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brands activities. These steps will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and on our country.”
Anheuser-Busch and its distributors have also sent letters to bars and other retailers explaining the situation, pointing out that a single marketing official engaged with Mulvaney. (read more)
As you can tell so far, despite the significant North American impacts to the products, the Diversity Equity and Inclusion outlook of the Anheuser-Busch global company is still strongly entrenched in the branding. It does not appear the company is going to modify anything as the very vocal Alphabet ideologues have them captive.
As noted by Dustin Smith, a business professor at Webster University who teaches college students how to manage the woke transition in corporate life, “the brewer has been supporting “Pride” events for years with no backlash. Smith predicted its brands would recover and most of its core customers would return.” {link}
Comrades, the global command and control authorities have spoken. The tranny fluid will continue to be supported until such time as those NASCAR watching, line dancing rednecks capitulate and start drinking it again. Look for significant ad buys on Twitter soon.
Keep watching.

As all things usually do.. This however shall not pass..
You are correct. In a previous post I commented that this isn’t really a boycott, it’s a divorce. Once people switch their beer they won’t go back.
Agreed, however I would be a bit more excited if all of the brands saw a slump. So long as the masses remain medicated things will continue as they are and these numbers reflect that. I’ve posted many times about the illusion of choice when pressured into a position and having to respond. It’s harder for the masses to consider the act of not drinking all together or simply not as much than it is to just pick another beer and get back to normal. To each their own though, that is to be expected.
Divorce is a grave sin. Poor analogy.
You are absolutely correct. I should have used the term “annulment”. The church does grant those so the separation is not a sin.
I was trying to point out that boycotts are temporary. They have an ending. Divorce is permanent. So I will use annulment from now on because it is also permanent. Thank you for your correction.
Oh, but it will.
Our forgiving nature is what got us here in the first place.
Not so much a boycott. More a never again with AB-InBev’s swill.
Lots of micro brews to pick from in my neck of the woods.
Tastes better too.
Amen. Most of these giant brewers products tastes like dishwater. Loaded with preservatives.

Thanks for posting as I was already “boycotting” Bud & Bud Light (because I don’t drink it because I don’t like the taste)
Good news is that I don’t drink any of their other brands either.
If you are looking for a good low calorie/carb beer, then try Modelo Oro. It just came out a couple months ago, so might be hard to find everywhere. It’s the first beer that has flavor and less than 100 calories.
Please, Patriots. Hold the line!
Zero A-B products for me. And I was born, raised and still live in the town of the ORIGINAL Busch brewery.
Been drinking delicious Yuengling since the first ad. And I will NEVER go back.
Would like to try that but not distributed in the Rockies yet.
Just switch to a local. This is the Boston Tea Party!!!
Dump A-B in the toilet.
Eventually that’s what happens with all beers… :>)
They’re the #1 craft in the USA.

Denial is not a river in Egypt … and is a very, very, bad management strategy.
OTOH …
The attention span of the average American is equal to that of an undisciplined puppy. So … perhaps AB can wait this out? I hope not. Seeing as how they deliberately rebranded their beer for Queers … I believe they’ve slaughtered their Golden Goose.
I think Kenji, that the intelligence of the average American is a lot higher than that of the Marketing Exs at AB.
They might be surprised how long we Fratty red neck stoopud goobers out here can remember that they tried to get us to thik a beta male wearing a dress was a girl.
After their company crashes and burn then we salt the earth.
I’ve never been a beer drinker, so maybe I wouldn’t know. However, this feels different from so many boycotts in the past. This time it seems we are not boycotting out of a sense of duty until we forget; instead we are having fun, gleefully rejecting and mocking a company that none of us intend to ever again patronize.
I’m glad TCT gets it
They aren’t going to stop
The tyranny is only building not retreating
Certainly won’t change until the antichrist gets here and starts killing the rebels
Tyranny and tranny… just missing the y (why)
Absolute mental illness, AKA the devil, seeking to devour and destroy
Never give in
The boycotts will have some effect and are better then nothing but do you really think these multi million dollar multi national corporations did not already factor in the blow back they would get from their anti-American, woke actions? There is more to this then meets the eye. Think New Normal. Think about what that actually means.
Notice how these fascist corporations seem to be competing amongst themselves on who can be the wokest? There is obviously a reward for doing this that no one is talking about yet. Use your imagination.
Yep its the budlight credit score that blackmails and shakedowns gender equity business.
At some point, whether it’s a product or service, a decline in the need for that product or service is going to make an impact on whether or not the unlimited tax revenue is going to continue to be used to prop it up.
More encouragement.
Less discouragement.
Lucy always encourages Charlie Brown to punt the football.
The enemy doesn’t fool me.
I was never a Bud fan anyway.
Wouldn’t touch it for free now.
Me thinks Mr. A-B International Big Shot is whistling through the graveyard.
“Please (distributors) don’t abandon the ship by loading into the lifeboats. Our highly esteemed, woke Finance & Accounting leadership team in affiliation with our world class HR department assures us that the iceberg we just hit full steam in the dark will not overwhelm and sink our ship known as the Titanic.”
All they have to do is move the deck chairs around and keep playing the music they’ll be all right who cares about the iceberg?
Well, speaking as a used to be hardline Bud Light beverage consumer, I’m certainly enjoying my Coors Lights these days and plan on continuing it. And on a sidenote, Bud Light prices had gotten crazy before all this happened in the first place. And I’ve noticed that they have dropped their price way down nowadays. It’s still at touch higher in my Georgia area than Coors light! So it’s a win-win for me! Lol
There’s a new Twitter CEO. She will start in six weeks. FLAMING Liberal from NBC Universal. Backlash is immediate. A-B may be advertising to just the Liberals left on Twitter.
After they locked my account I started another one about a year later. I have finally decided to leave, and never look back because of their dumb requirement to provide your birthdate every single time I visit their page. Maybe it might not be so bad if I could just type it in and be done with it, but no, I have to click on the annoying little pop up box and scroll to my birthday (and at my age that takes awhile). I would not be surprised if Twitter goes the way of Myspace.
Just consistently use a fake birthday, like 1/1/00. Much easier to type in.
When the Exxon-Valdez spilled oil off the coast of Alaska due to overworked and incompetent crew, alcohol or whatever, and spent days before beginning clean-up, I boycotted Exxon. That is 34 years ago and I still have yet to buy Exxon anything.
Some of us mean it when we boycott.
You go, girl!
That was before the New Normal. Those were the good ole days.
I remember back then I believed Al Gores global warming BS.
I never believed that BS. Man cannot change the climate. It’s BS.
Yeah, Im not proud of it but its made me stronger.
Target is an example of the companies waiting it out. Also the pro sports franchises held out on the disrespect of the national anthem. People will tire of not being able to get their “stuff” and go back. I’ve not stepped foot in a Target since they opened up their women’s restrooms and changing rooms to men, but our target parking lot is always loaded. And NFL foot all games are full of fans once again also. So bush might just be fine waiting it out. Some have even suggested if they just apologize people would just forgive and forget. Heck Target and the pro sporting leagues didn’t apologize and people just flocked back anyway.
Target has lost some customers. They keep sending me reminders to buy something to keep my card active. I didn’t. So, they sent me a new card that I am supposed to “Activate”. Nope.
The problem is inflation pricing out customers. People who used to buy in Macy’s and Belk’s and other medium price department stores have been economizing and now are shifting down to Target. Former Target buyers are now looking in thrift and consignment stores.
i haven’t shopped at Target since they refused to allow the travelling Viet Nam Memorial to be displayed in their parking lots. And AB doesn’t like horses anymore either. So it goes.
Never forget
I drive past a large goodwill store twice a day. The parking lot is never not full.
Prior to 2008, liked target.
They went for volume, all the tables and shelves were overflowing.
Great clearance deals.
After 2008, thar high-end five t-shirts on a table look. 🙄
.
Here’s the difference. A food or beverage that they made nauseating. It doesn’t take effort to avoid drinking something that calls up a nauseating display, political or not.
.
That’s the whole point. This is biology. You can retrain some people but if you watch babies they will laugh uproariously and dismissively because they already know it’s upside down world. Just another reason they are targeting young children who are easily deceived by a smile at that age. Watching the moms – some clearly were socially pressured to take their kids but their faces are upset.
It’s interesting how young children know but don’t know. We put our young son in martial arts because he wanted it. The instructors would do a segment where the children would emulate animals. When it came to snake our son wouldn’t do it. He didn’t know a thing about sex but he found doing the snake just wrong and demeaning. End of karate.
Haven’t been back since the beginning of the bathroom thing – it’s a divorce. And that’s permament.
#Metoo
That’s funny. I almost never think about it, but I’ve never bought Exxon products since then either.
Same here. Did not even know Esso was still in business.
My late sister was living in Valdez at the time. Everyone in the town eventually got a check from Exxon.
Not crew. It was a drunk pilot and a negligent Captain.
I was recently watching an NHL playoff game on the CBC. During a commerical break, I saw a Coors ad. It contained the same type of hideous trans support message. I am sure this ad only ran in Canada.
I am baffled by the reach of these demonic messages as well as our inability to track multiple “bogeys”. They will continue to get away with what we give them. Hold firm and expand the boycott to include everything your can bear to that does not match your worldview!
Even when they give Bud Light away, nobody wants it. It would be humiliating to be seen drinking it.
.
And ughkth! Just having an image of bathroom pervert Mulvaney in my mind makes me want to puke, not have a beer!
.
That bud was for you.😳👀
This is called denial. A-B is toast but they don’t know it yet or they do know it but acting like business as usual. They won’t be able to remove the image they are associated with.
They think they can “Shake it Off.”. It’s kinda like use of the word “gay” by school kids. If it’s disgusting, hopelessly “corny,” “lame,” or simply wrong they call it “gay.”. IDK how that term evolved for them but it’s still part of the vernacular political correctness be damned. They start using it, again, before they know the sexual meaning of the word so I think that is a strong deterrent or very painful to hear for an individual struggling with it. Social engineering vs biology.
Sundance, you’re right – these are hard brand switches. I know quite a few beer drinkers, hubster included, and most switched to Yuengling. All of them will tell you that they discovered Yuengling is a much better beer anyway.
ADD: And Dustin Smith sounds like a moron. Bud drinkers had an occasion to find a superior product and have no reason to return to a less desirable product.
Marketing guru behind iconic Bud Light ads blasts ‘self-inflicted’ Dylan Mulvaney fiasco
Excerpt:
Anheuser-Busch’s former chief creative officer — whose iconic ads included the “I Love You, Man” commercials and the talking frogs — blasted the company’s Belgian parent InBev over Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney fiasco.
“It took us 20 years to take Bud Light beer to the No. 1 beer in the country, and it took them one week to dismantle it,” Robert Lachky told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch this week.

Oh well.
Yep Kay Eming.
Only one week to trash it with a really dumb woman using a very very bad idea and it is all over.
& a Harvard degree.
Remember when Budweiser was the number one beer brand in all America?
This Too Shall Pass………….
I wouldn’t drink that horse urine (Budweiser anything) if you gave it away. Quit drinking that p!$$ 60 yrs. Ago. Worse beer on mkt. I have never understood why anyone would drink that stuff.
I haven’t drank in a while, but “in the day” the Guinness and single malt scotch drinking was a terrific pastime.
That said, any “ light beer” was rats pi**.
A well meaning and kindly fellow had me try one not too many weeks after emigrating. 😟
Bud lite is Bud shi*e
Cheers!
Clay Travis’ free beer experiment shows people ‘don’t want to be seen’ with Bud Light
Excerpt:
OutKick founder Clay Travis conducted an experiment over the weekend where he offered various cans of free beer at a concert, concluding that drinking Bud Light is now taboo in public.
Travis posted several videos of his cooler throughout the night as a “weekend experiment” at a concert in the Nashville area. The experiment allowed those who passed to “Pick which beer you want.”
“No one would take the Bud Light all night long. Big issue going forward for Bud Light is many don’t even want to be seen with product.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/clay-travis-free-beer-experiment-shows-people-want-seen-bud-light.amp
What matters most to liberals is maintaining their high self-esteem.
The splendid irony is they can’t see Bud Lite drinkers have stopped, and for the same reason.
Transgender men or transgender women … call them what they are … transvestites … men that dress as women and try to look like women but aren’t women. That whole transgender term is just a misleading con.
.
“Trans” = “fake”.
.
.
Their problem is that there are lots of beers — and plenty far better. All they had was a brand, brand loyalty and habit. And they managed to make their brand image nauseating. You don’t do that with something that people eat or drink.
Moreoever, this won’t pass. Their other products will start falling too as people in fact do a hard switch.
Offensive view of their customers even to align the rest of their ridiculous wokeism with making their brand image that of a repulsive flukeworm sitting in soap in a bathroom (yech) mocking and insulting women.
.
Yes, Food and Drink is totally distinct.
Socialists prefer bottled water to tap water: Ideology has its limit.
The theory of the AB management is that ultimately there is no line they can cross that they won’t be forgiven for ultimately, so they see no need to worry about it. They have decades of history on this – after all, corporations have been following leftist agenda items for decades without material loss of sales (I mean really, how many made it a point in the last 20 years not to buy from any place supporting LGBTQETC stuff?)
Even the trans stuff might have passed for the most part except they can’t help going for the kids and rubbing it in everybody’s faces. Every kid butchered by Frankenstein MDs who comes to regret it and every woman who sees men in their restroom is an anecdote that then spreads to all the people in their circles.
Beechnut sold an apple flavored drink as apple juice.
People give apple juice to their babies.
Beechnut executives went to jail for this.
Come on now, make it global. Boycott around the world all AB products.
Blast from the past.
I hear they offered Mulvaney aBud Light in a bottle, but he only takes it in the can.
I’ll just switch to Schlitz..
Older posters might get that joke.
“Not to worry, comrades — like Bidenflation, the Bidenvasion, BidenEconomicAndSocietalCollapse, and #DeathCult #MassGraves … the destruction of Tranheuser-Busch will be TRANSitory !”
Tumbling down Wokeback Mountain
It wasn’t about trying to appeal to a different demographic, it was about humiliating the demographic they already had. A few dozen million customers and a few billion dollars is chump change to Transheuser-Busch.
“Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.
When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”
― Theodore Dalrymple
Exactly.
The millions they pissed off were the target audience of this ad campaign.
What’s a few billion when there are trillions at stake?
Also, what’s a few billion when you control all the money anyways.
Think about it.
Who are these companies trying to please with their environmental score or social credit score?
It’s the bankers so they can get access to credit.
Eliminate the need for credit and you eliminate the need to please the paymasters.
Big picture, the ones forcing these issues onto Americans are trying to destroy America. Plain and simple. It’s an operation. It’s all part of the same war.
Follow the money and you will find the ones seeking power and control.
“Transheuser-Busch”. 😁
I willing sacrifice my time to comfort any Bud and beer tub girls that feel demoralized and lonely. It’s my patriotic duty. They are welcome.
Not king of beers but king of queers?
A queer situation.😳
I have to say I have been quite pleased to see all real women in Mother’s Day commercials this year. I think some people are learning.
Idiots.
Yuengling should offer a YLNGLITE Beer, just for kicks.
We need a new electric can opener. Try finding one NOT made in China!
I have to reply even though my comment is OT. Everyone else can skip this without missing anything.
Thanksgiving Day of 2006, I woke up after working a long night shift. Had already declined an invitation to the extended family’s Thanksgiving party. Went into the kitchen to fix something to eat. Lo and behold, my brand new manual can opener did not work.
Grrrr. The only thing I could have picked up to eat in that small town would have been a package of Twinkies at a gas station.
There was no other choice. I was compelled to send a scorchingly condescending email to the company that was responsible for that “Made in China” piece of trash. I took care to make note of the fact that a handheld can opener did not involve new technology. What stood between me and something to eat were bad manufacturing standards.
A few days later, I received a box with a variety of measuring cups, measuring spoons, kitchen gadgets, a new functional can opener and a letter of apology from the company’s vice president.
I feel better now.
The old military P-38 can openers work just fine. And you can 2 sizes and a pack 15-20 for $5
I bought a new manual can opener recently because my old one wasn’t working well after decades. The price was horrendous and when I got it home it worked just as poorly as the one it was meant to replace. I get in a rage about this stuff because it’s universal and seems intentional and definitely demonic.
Underwear. Bought Fruit of the Loom. Shreds irreparably after 2 washings. Bought Hanes. They have somehow managed to make the elastic an irritant that turns skin bloody and I suffer every minute of the day when wearing them. The male products of both brands are wonderful. Wear well, comfortable and wash well. Why are they doing this to women?
Medical scooter. Old one unfixable according to specialist. (Unreliable wobbly steering.). New one has same unreliable wobbly steering as the old one deemed unfixable trash.
It’s like you have to spend a whole day every week just confronting sellers and manufacturers with their shoddy crap. I’ve actually been trying to remember to photograph all the rotten food I pay full price for. It seems OK on the outside but once you slice it you have to cut out so much rotten or find worms and toss the whole thing. Part of the rage.
Maybe you can at the local thrift store.
Bud light in the loafers.
😂
Had to check Cindy McCain’s family’s A-B distributorship’s website. Couldn’t help myself.
The home page proudly has a jump to this little gem.
Anheuser-Busch is Brewing Relief for Ukraine
https://hensley.com/anheuser-busch-is-brewing-relief-for-ukraine/
Ukraine, McCain, beer, A-B. At least there’s not a tranny involved in this virtue signal.
I’ve been wondering for awhile if Meghan pays the daily mail to publish her screed. I checked the site as well. My concern is that she may think that she is entitled to a career in politics directly and thinks that after another decade or so of “writing” she’ll make the attempt.
Boris Johnson was a journalist.
This is so colossally stupid! It was a long time ago, but one thing we all knew was, “Don’t mess with a man’s beer!” Whether you think it’s stupid or not, do NOT mess with a man’s beer! She is obviously too dumb to understand that one. Or maybe she just isn’t from a small town. This wisdom pre-dates all of the current woke garbage. This is small-town non-woke lore!
I think that’s called whistling past the graveyard.
“It was the first such meeting since transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s viral social media posts with Bud Light in early April. She received a special edition can with her picture on it.”
So what if they have been supporting Pride events? Some folks are gay. Some always have been. Everybody knows that.
However, “she” received a special edition can? That is the problem, right there. Transgenderism is a delusion, a fantasy. It’s not real. A guy putting on a dress and lipstick does not make him female. Trying to force people to accept the transgender delusion as if it were real is a bridge too far. We know it’s dog food and we’re not eating it.
YOU don’t get to control MY speech. I will address you by whatever pronoun I choose, and if you don’t like it you can go F yourself.
Bud Light the Official Beer of Disney World!

Despite this 90% of media advertising features the 10%.
So thank you Californica for exporting your great culture.
I’m sure American distributors are happy that AB is selling beer in Ukraine.
I’m sure the management is doing this because they think they are BULLETPROOF! /sarc

“she” is a HE and don’t you forget it.
AB will come out swinging with promotions this summer. Sort of like what Coka-Cola did a few years back with free stuff (codes printed inside boxes) for the masses. You just have to buy a box to see if you’re a winner. And boy will AB pulling out their wallets to get you to come back. They will be giving away brand new trucks, motorcycles, vehicles and everything blue-collar workers work their asses off to get. This is their plan. Will it work. No, but the way AB will hard market BudLight in all markets will draw back drinkers due to the massive amounts of giveaways they have planned. Who knows they might even giveaway homes. That’s right homes. This will sure enough be a way to get people to come back. And if you live in California, the California lottery is addicting for some who throw up to 30% of their paycheck at it. No imagine the promos AB will pull grabbing these gamblers in. It’s going to be interesting to see how this all pans out, but spending your way out of this fiasco won’t work. They may hits some high numbers for the summer. But how deep are the pockets of AB. Death by a million cuts.
Can distributor sue the company for loss of Business? Some may go out of business.
Not during a massive depression they won’t.
When the temps rise across the nation and the sales of A-B brands don’t, then the stuff will hit the fan.
The Indy 500 and Memorial Day weekend will tell everyone how badly they damaged themselves.
I’m not very fond of beer anyway, but on those rare occasions when I’ve had one, it’s not Budweiser. That stuff tastes terrible; both versions.
