I’M pretty sure all respiratory viruses are mutagenic, if not all viruses.
Firstly, respiratory IS the preffered route of transmission, if you want your bioweopon to spread rapidly.
After all, the goal IS to infect a lot of people.
Even HIV, which as we all know ISN’T spread thru respiratory route of infection, has mutated numerous times, and has many variants.
Bottom line is, viruses make piss poor biological weopons, for several reasons; they inevitable WILL “Circle around” to infect those that released them, as they will eventually infect EVERYONE.
AND, Viruses are mutagenic, and “naturally” mutate to being less deadly, but more contagious.
Hence, the virus itself, without a great deal of assistance, wasn’t much of a bioweopon.
If not for the WHO, and then Govt health department interventions to push the implementation of public health requirements that were the OPPOSITE of long established and agreed policies, Covid would have been a “blip”.
The ONLY thing Covid had “going for it” was that it was NOVEL.
BeECAUSE it was novel, AND because the WHO and the Govt agencies had CREDIBILITY, they could promulgate all sorts of lies ABOUT Covid, and promulgate all sorts of rediculous “guidelines” that were exactly the opposite of what had been established protecols.
Actually, it is their clear suppression of IVERMECTINE and HQC, along with the mandated protecols that put the lie to the notion that this wasn’t intentional, but just greed and incompetence.
Objectively, looking at the very publically available evidence, its apperent there is only ONE possible explanation, and anyone not seeing it (like Dr. Drew) is in denial, as the truth is just too horrific to contemplate.

But the ironic biological thing is that our human bodies have an excellent strategy for dealing with these “naturally mutagenic” viruses, and that strategy is zinc. (Along with a so-called “ionophore” to enable the zinc to get to where it needs to go.) Zinc disrupts the viral replication process, and today we have a complete biochemical understanding of exactly how it does so – and proof that it does.
(Since Zinc is not a “fat-soluble element,” it needs an “ionophore” to transport it across the fat-based cellular barrier to get to where the action is …)
The simplicity of this strategy is that it does not care nor have to care that the viral genome is mutating. Your body does not have to “identify” a constantly-changing target. Instead, it strikes at the virus’s fundamental necessity to replicate.
So, do you remember what Mamma used to do when you got sick with a cold or the flu? She prepared a soup loaded with “leafy green vegetables” and told you to eat it, promising that you would feel better soon. So, “you did, and then you did.” It wasn’t a miracle: it was biological science. Those “fresh leafy greens” gave you a sufficient supply of both zinc (it actually doesn’t take very much …) and natural ionophores. Even though Mamma didn’t know the science, she was right.

I read an article the other day of stories of families that went through the perversion of medical practices. It was heartbreaking. They were starved, denied water, denied loved ones, denied what would likely have saved them.

I Love it. Your response is dead-on here. Only addition is that you’ll have to assume all migrants and refugees are similarly capable. But many are not like you and I, in other words, they are not strong-minded and able to think critically and independently whenever needed. In fact, environment is the #1 influencer of the mind’s filters and processing. So, yes, I can think independently and I like to think I’m of sound, strong mind, so I stay in this blue state, although I’m not thrilled about it. But I know a family member who isn’t so mentally strong. I think if she moved out of Massachusetts she would be much better off mentally if her daily influences were more openly conservative.

I feel sad this morning. Another “end of an age”, a family company formed in 1942 is out of business. In the scale of things, it was a small to medium size business that provided unique products that are rare and hard to find. Its end is not going to make any waves and only a few people will notice, so I’m putting a tribute here to some of those small to medium businesses that have died and are forever gone.
Frabels, Inc. was a small business in Canada, started during World War II by a Czech businessman who emigrated to Canada. It supplied crystal beads, rhinestones, and jewelry findings, many of them rare, vintage rhinestones, findings, and beads that have not been produced in 50-70 years. The only way to repair old costume jewelry is to acquire the original old rhinestones and beads.
So many skilled workers came from Europe to the US in the period 1890-1910 and became involved in the costume jewelry industry, designing and producing beautiful glitz for the masses of Americans in the 1930’s – 1990’s. Most of their businesses are gone now, but their designs have lived on and their names are part of the stream of history of this country: Gustavo Trifari, Abraham Mazer, Gene Verrecchio, Marcel Boucher, Ralph DeRosa, Oreste Pennino, William Hobe to name only a very few. They are gone because the costs of materials and skilled labor rose to levels at which they could not make a profit without outsourcing to China or India.
Some suppliers, like Frabels, Inc., continued with new companies buying their products and those who repaired and restored the old jewelry.
The causes of the demise of businesses which sell rhinestones and beads are the competition from China and new policies of Swarovski, Inc, the largest manufacturer in the world of crystal beads and rhinestones. To protect their brand from Chinese copies, they required signed guarantees from approved buyers that anyone who used their products did not use the name Swarovski to describe anything made using Swarovski crystals that was not fully made by their company. These approved buyers had to be a good-sized business, well known in the field of textiles or costume jewelry.
Small businesses like Frabels, Inc. in Canada and hundreds of small US businesses have been enormously hurt by these policies, especially those who have refused to transition to selling or using the lesser quality Chinese or Czech rhinestones and beads.
Good-bye, good-bye, godspeed. The US has made a huge mistake, driven by corporate greed. May Trump win and bring back manufacturing to the US once more.

Antique Roadshow has had several episodes including costume jewelry possessions. I have been dismayed that their so-called “experts” in costume jewelry are really not deeply knowledgeable about companies, production, dating, or even about prices. One expert told an owner that a widget she had was worth about $3000; the same exact widget in better condition was listed on eBay for $260.
It is very painful to me to watch real American, family owned companies go under due to the criminal & treasonous “Free Trade” policies. Much of Heritage America’s middle/upper class elevation was brought through their hard work/innovative ideas via a family business. My family comes from that. My family has also had loads of veterans including killed in action (very upsetting) & combat wounded. Some are even in the military right now. The Covid “Science” saying that small b businesses the livelihoods of millions of our fellow Americans, close to stop the spread of “Covid” while big box Democrat stores saying open, really bothers me. (Also the murder of our people in nursing homes).

I’ve come to the sad realization that not many Americans can consistently recognize U.S. government propaganda.
My husband and I were searching for something to watch that wasn’t current day foul and vile, we happened on Picket Fences, which we had never seen, it’s from the early 90s.
It seemed like such a sweet wholesome family, presented the characters as if they were greatly principled and family oriented, even sort of as believers. The first couple of episodes they kind of were, so you’d connect with them.
But every episode had them rethinking their opposition to one issue or another, and finally, sweetly, acknowledging that they were wrong, they’d been acting like “bigots” or something similar.
Clearly if _______ was okay with this just, wholesome, supposedly principled family, then it must be okay.
Took me about five episodes in before I realized it was flat out propaganda.
(We’d hoped something from the 90s wouldn’t be evil. Don’t tell me to turn off the TV, my husband is VERY elderly, quite frail, and that’s one of the few pastimes remaining to him.)
There are plenty of great shows on TV if you put some effort into finding them, which sounds like you do. I watch a lot of old shows and movies from the 50s, 60s and 70s. I do all my TV viewing over a rooftop antennae at a friend’s house. It’s called broadcast TV and it’s free. I never watch TV news, just sitcoms, westerns, cop shows, movies … decent stuff.
Anne of Green Gables of Sullivan Entertainment was excellent. My beloved Grandma loved it and I watched it and really enjoyed it. One of my older friends father was orphaned out to work in Canada as a young kid to relatives in Canada much like the story. He ended up later in life once he turned 18 and left, to own a very large & successful company.

I went outside to see if my bus was in and was instantly surrounded by a group of youths. They were intimidating but I was not responding. The most problematic move (for RF) that NATO could make would be to have UKR withdraw its remaining resources to defend a line somewhere West of the Dniepr, to protect what they value most (Kiev & the West) and especially what NATO values most: Odessa.
This would challenge the RF to try to cross the Dniepr to meet a NATO force in Ukraine that is not yet completely broken. The current NATO/UKR fight-for-every-inch in Donbas strategy is perfectly congenial to the Russians.
Russia will not want to fight for (and destroy) Odessa, and without Odessa there’s little incentive to cross the Dniepr at all. Controlling the Danube / connecting Hungary would be nice, but not essential.
The only way Russia will take Odessa is if and after the Ukrainian military potential is completely exhausted. Why hold Ukraine territory West of the Dniepr before then?
Better that the West–which broke Ukraine–should pay 20 billion a month to arm, feed, and support it.”

Today, the will of the people has been heard. In 2018 55% of North Carolinians voted to make Voter ID law in our state. After years of lawsuits and activist judges ignoring the people, North Carolina will officially have Voter ID.

I hit the link and there was mention of Ford applying for a patent to enable self driving cars to drive away when the consumer is behind on payments. Of course, your car will hang around and cut you a break if your social justice score is one way or you belong to a favored constituency.
I can’t see 3rd Parties making BMW heated seats with BMW pulling an Apple with some sort of “Firmware” that either does not enable the seat to be
used or brick the whole car.
As there is precedent with Apple and John Deer’s attempt to prevent “Right to Repair.” In the case of Apple it’s to prevent “Unauthorized Repair” with the use of Software prohibiting 3rd party or salvaged first party screens and batteries.
