(Reforma)-Yesterday, Mexico sent its entire National Security cabinet to Washington DC to talk about the fentanyl crisis. They were greeted by one US official. Attorney General Merrick Garland showed up at noon to offer lunch.
Congress wants to send the US military into Mexico because they say President Amlo is failing to deal with the fentanyl issue. In reality it’s the US Government that doesn’t want to deal with the fentanyl issue.
They are using it as an excuse to eventually remove AMLO. Anyone that doesn’t see this is blind. Just like they created the “terrorist” problem with middle easterners and then used it to focus inwards on American citizens. If anyone ever watches the movie “Brazil” with Robert Deniro they reveal all of this In there. More than ever I’m convinced rhey release these movies to essentially fulfill Some need to inform the public. This way they can say hey we told you!
That movie, although satire, literally encapsulates where we are as a society today. However, as this goes directly AGAINST “Conventional wisdom” researches write their reports in such a way as to bury this info in footnotes, obscure it, or try (unsuccessfully) to explain away the data.
With researchers, its “publish or perish”; if you don’t get published, AND have generally positive “peer reviews” you won’t get research grants.
Its VERY “cutthroat” and so researchers will orchrstrate attacks on other researchers whose research conflicts with their own.
And, as these articles demonstrate, there is a “confirmation bias” to the “group”; none of these researchers wanted to publish a report saying regularly eating a dairy product, high in sugar and saturated fats was actually GOOD for you, despite that being EXACTLY what the data shows.

For those who are not aware RFK is a Kennedy (duh) and he runs a joint called Children’s Health Defense. He has long been a loud critic of childhood vaccines and it is the lack of nuance that bothers me greatly in his viewpoint.
I look at such things, and have all along, from a risk:reward analysis and nothing else — with both being centered on you alone. If a mitigation works then it works, and thus anyone who wants it can use it. If it doesn’t work then all the arm-waving is a waste of time and money — and that assumes there is no risk of harm which is never true for any medical intervention of any sort. In other words while I am a strong advocate of leveling the playing field when it comes to access to a given countermeasure I reject out of handthat any such counter-measure is a function of a duty to someone else. Trying to mandate that “someone do something” to protect another is like arguing that I must wear a seat belt not because it will save me if I wreck my car but rather I should be forced to wear one so your liability insurance costs less because if you hit me and YOU are at fault my injuries will be less-severe.
And thus coming from the left side of the aisle the run will prove very interesting indeed. I cannot endorse his view on many things, including firearms. To put it bluntly he doesn’t believe in the 2nd Amendment at all and has made that abundantly clear. But he has eloquence rather than screaming to his credit and that goes a long way, never mind that running as a Democrat the left won’t be able to try to ignore him by calling him a racist or similar tripe.
Grab a bowl and sit back; this will be an interesting ride.

One that caught my attention is that he “went back and reviewed the data” and found that ALL of the reductions in childhood mortality, (in the U.S.)ascribed to childhood vaccination program, can also be explained by improvements in hygiene ,(flush toilets and sewer systems instead of outdoor toilets, etc.) which occurred during the same time frame.
I never was a fan, have been a “vax denier” and neither of my now grown daughters was vaxxed, and I DO believe autism is very likely the result ov Vaxs.

We can disagree with him on any of his opinions, but to do so, we have to overcome his well researched, deeply detailed, reasonings he presents for his opinions.
Not that he can’t be wrong. I think he is often wrong. But “lacking nuance” is synonymous with not considering details and implications, not thinking it through, not considering multiple sides, etc. Against RFK Jr. that is just a baseless slur.

I posted this comment this morning on yesterdays’s post about the AB trans marketing fiasco. Since it came up here on todays presidential thread, and I believe it is relevent, I’ll repost here.
It is not just a marketing mistake. These people participated in, showed no remorse, and had an “in your face” campaign, using money given by trusting customers, to not only insult our sensibilities on what is male and female, but on what is “normal” sexuality.
The whole LGBTQ movement is moral gaslighting. It is taking a fascinating design of unlimited depths of mystery that clearly point to a Creator, and making mockery of us as humans, and the obvious gift of a loving Creator who designed us with loving creativity, and made us male and female.
The difference between XX and XY chromosomes, dictated the difference in bone structure, muscle strength, sexual organs that correlate with a very humanly intimate physical, psychological and spiritual experience while also producing kids. Sexual organs that also are designed to nourish the children produced in that union. The more we respect, honor, and love in designed gift of our Creator, the more able he is to blesses us with fantastic marriages, children, and a mutually benevolent society — that far exceeds any socialist or communist construct.

They probably knew ahead they were going to apologize. The question is, what else did they gain by purposely getting us so upset? What were we distracted from? What psychological injury of further demoralization accomplished in their detailed knowledge of psyops.
