The Democrat National Committee (DNC) has selected Chicago, Illinois, as the location for the 2024 convention. Joe Biden called Governor JB Pritzker earlier this morning and informed him of the selection.
It’s an interesting development as most of the betting money would have predicted the Democrat convention toward Atlanta, Georgia. However, if you factor in the unspoken influence and importance of Chicago Jesus, et al,… well, then things take a more fulsome background.
According to the Chicago Sun Times the United Center will be the primary venue for nomination events and daytime business will be conducted at the McCormick Place Convention Center. The DNC convention is scheduled for August 19-22, 2024.
CHICAGO – The Democratic National Committee selected Chicago to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention, the Sun-Times has learned, with the city beating bids from Atlanta and New York.
The convention will take place Aug. 19-22 next year. It is expected to draw between 5,000 and 7,000 delegates and alternates and attract up to 50,000 visitors to Chicago.
Evening events will be at the United Center — the main site of the 1996 Democratic convention in Chicago — with daytime business to be conducted at the McCormick Place Convention Center, the location of the 2012 NATO Summit. Delegates will be housed in about 30 hotels in Chicago.
For more than a year, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., a co-chair of the Democratic National Committee and Mayor Lori Lightfoot have led a drive for Chicago to host the Democrats in 2024. (read more)

Let’s deal with the real issue. For decades, conservatives have written off cities as “unwinnable” and thus don’t run for local office. This allowed Democrats to run unopposed and become entrenched in urban areas. With those areas locked up, Dems can focus all their energies on the suburbs and rural areas during state and federal elections.
Now, imagine what would happen if conservatives got serious and started winning local offices in cities. Suddenly, Democrats would have to really fight during every state and federal election since the urban areas were no longer a sure thing.
As long as conservatives snub urban areas and use Black people as scapegoats, they deserve to lose.

Furthermore, the root of the current situation goes back to the Nixon/Kennedy Presidential race when MLK jr was put in jail and Richard Nixon refused to call him and JFK did call him. So I wonder if the Dems will call up the Chicago Platform of 1864 where one of the planks was to allow slavery to continue in the south. (look it up). The party of the poor down for the struggle Black population was auctioned off back into slavery to end the Civil War. Looks to me like not much has changed with the Dems since then..just different semantics (with the help of the Black overseers such as Sharpton, Clyburn, jackson, etc to keep the slaves in line) to hide their actions.
Don’t forget LBJ saying that his Great Society would keep them on the plantation for the next 100 years. Also remember the “peaceful” convention in 1968. Did they ever pay their huge phone bill??

Walmart closing 4 locations in Chicago
Chicago: Walmart plans to close four stores in Chicago by mid-April, the company announced Tuesday. I was raised in a Chicago suburb and was a teenager when this occurred. We heard about this for weeks as hippies and protestors ginned up numbers by wanting college students to come to Chicago. Bill Ayers and his underground network location was in the Church directing the protests…crazy but it was where I was a Boy Scout…never knew at the time. So everyone had an idea that these people were coming to cause trouble.
The protestors broke windows of office buildings, department stores, looted Walgreens and my father who was working downtown was assaulted by the “peaceful” mob and almost thrown through a plate glass window of his office building late in the afternoon. Many individuals were assaulted along Michigan Avenue.
Mayor Daley seeing his City destroyed looked out for the business owners and sent the police after them. What they don’t show is the assaulting of the police by these punks the night before the big showdown causing retaliation. He made the right call but was excoriated by the lefty press.

It would be just and fair if those who keep re-electing the criminals to office in Illinois, face the entire state becoming a retail “desert.” I would laugh heartily if the morons in Illinois had to drive to other states to buy what they need because all retail businesses there fail due to theft.
