Some weeks ago, I read on this site — but didn’t keep the cite – that the annual gross salary for a brand new congressperson is about $176,000. Keep in mind they have two offices and two residences to maintain — one in D.C. and the other in their hometown.
At the end of their first four-year term, their average worth is $4,000,000.

Not sure if I agree with that CA Joe…There were many paid actors on the hill that day. Chansley’s history had been showing up as a crazy Q-Shaman at liberal/leftist events to support those events, not protest them. While Ray Epps, Jayden X and others had support positions on the day….Chansley’s role was to be the “poster child” of crazy January 6th people. He was escorted throughout the Capital by armed guards and allowed to sit in the Speakers Chair for a photo op. While the planners hoped that people would forget about Epps, X, Scaffold Commander and others…they had no option on Chansley…would have been too obvious if they let him walk. Tucker hate?…keep in mind Tucker was supposed to have “access” to all of the J6 tapes. Instead, he has shown us less than 5 minutes and, knowing Americans have short memories, the tapes are no longer being talked about. He has not protested that 1) McCarthy won’t show them any more, or 2) that his bosses at Fox have derailed any future stories on this. Tucker was part of the operation to squash the tapes and what actually happened on J6. That is all I can conclude there.

Crushing defeat
Last Sunday’s “Berlin Climate Neutrality By 2030” referendum failed resoundingly despite the more than a million euros spent in a massive run-up campaign that included plastering the city with posters, concerts by famous performers, huge support and propaganda by the media and hefty donations coming from left wing activists from the east and west coasts of USA.
Once the dust of the referendum had settled, it emerged that the “yes” side fell way short of the quorum 608,000 votes needed to pass the measure. Only 442,210 cast a vote in favor, which represents only 18% of Berlin’s eligible voters. The activists expected a far greater turnout. 82% refused to lend any support.
Berlin’s rejection of the climate neutrality by 2030 mandate is a massive body blow to the the radical Fridays for Future and Last Generation movement in Germany, and it will take months for the radicals to recover, it ever, from this setback.
The Berlin initiative to make the city climate neutral by 2030 was led by rich, upper class youths like Luisa “Longhaul” Neubauer. But Berliners, having been harassed for months by activists gluing themselves to the streets and blocking traffic, saw the folly of the initiative and the high costs it would entail politically and financially.
