It is another place I wanted to see again (the Fisherman’s Wharf area) but will never go back there. In the 1190s I went to the Coast Guard base in Alameda for training. Went across the bay to Fisherman’s Wharf in an effort to meet one of the most iconic SF characters, the original World Famous Bushman, David Johnson. He was a Busker (a street performer), not a homeless guy. His show was to roar like an evil guy 🤣🤣🤣. I saw him and started walking towards him. He roared at me and the sound was so loud and deep I jumped 🤣🤣🤣. Then we both laughed and had a really nice conversation for 5 minutes. Surprise, he played an evil guy with the roars, but was really a nice guy 😃. Beautiful conversation, we really, really liked each other. I contributed to him.

It’s becoming very hard to see a way out of this mess because of the compromised judicial system. TPTB will keep pushing this control of the laws to the max as long as they have willing, bought out and/or threatened federal and state judges, DAs and biased juries. Apparently their are no legitimate judges around anymore who actually keep justice blind and follow, not tweak, every law that doesn’t meet their agenda.
Just look at the election fraud cases. Most all were dismissed immediately, restricted in court so that evidence was not able to be presented, or thrown out after a short trial. The truth was strangled. It’s is happening now to PTrump and will continue to until no conservative is allowed to speak freely and politically keep their beliefs in the open to campaign on. Look at the J6 corrupt mess in the DC gulag. Complete farce as far as legal rights for the accused, many of whom did nothing wrong but have been jailed and then convicted of bogus charges. All without a real legal pushback by any court.
Amazing how the Supreme Court has made itself pretty invisible in all of it. Can they step in without a case in front of them? Would they do the right thing anyway? Can they stop the lower court corruption? Do they even want to? I don’t know but if they can and are choosing not to, it just further shows the complete rot in our judiciary and our legal system of laws. If the courts are not cleaned out of the corruption, we really are facing a bleak future for a long time.

I was trying to remember about the Nuremburg trials and how I think some of them were for the judges in Germany who upheld Hitler’s illegal and down right nasty laws.
I could be wrong but I think some of those judges paid a heavy price for their go along to get along attitude.
The leftist judges on the Supreme Court do not believe in an Originalist interpretation of our Constitution. They believe our Constitution must be interpreted to reflect todays/current society.

FYI, I am returning to the language of my parents. They referred to a “cross dresser” as “it”. They don’t need a hook to “Federal funds”. Congress has plenary power in the Constitution to regulate Federal elections. The DA is using color of law to prosecute an announced, filed, candidate for Federal office in an effort to try and disqualify the candidate. The DA ran for office on the explicit promise of indicting Trump.
They can simply state they are considering legislation that would ban the practice, require Congressional oversight (make it unlawful for the DA and Judge to refuse a subpoena), and bar the disbursement of Federal funds to any municipality with a DA that attempts said prosecution.

Just to let you know I tried. Our local “Patriots” group is still meeting and “getting to know each other”. I am done with them.

Well iggyb, I do agree with you that the elites and leftist do a bang up job organizing and driving their ideology down our throats with little resistance. They are organized, highly committed, and aggressively drive their many movements-BLM, Abortion Rights, Anti Guns, CRT, DEI, Climate Change Mail in Voting, and now The Trans movement among many others. They are organized and highly motivated while we are on the defense on all this stuff.
I’ve posted a few times here that we need to get organized at the grass roots. America First/MAGA to help President Trump. He can’t do it all by himself. I believe if we had state MAGA organizations coupled with a National MAGA organization that could collect money to drive America First policies a lot of people would join, donate and volunteer to help.
This would need leadership and people that are connected to organize something like this.

However, MAGA, Inc. is a super-PAC and not under Trump or his campaign’s control over the way money is spent nor over the content of MAGA-PAC’s ads.
Thanks Sibyl, yes MAGA Inc, formed ahead of the 2022 midterms is a PAC per the FEC and like you mention the rules are different over control of funds.
But in terms of donating, I was not referencing Save America. Rather the President’s website directs donors to SaveAmericaJFC which is the joint fundraising committee “composed of and authorized by Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc. and Save America”
The interestingly MAGA PAC shares the same PO Box Address as SaveAmericaJFC and has the same Treasurer. Which makes getting answers easier.
Hopefully the Treasurer’s office can give me clear answers on Monda when I speak to them regarding whether it is possible to bypass WinRed.

1) My apologies to everyone!! I missed the fine print on the PDF form. WinRed processed the credit cards connected to the mail-in route for donating. Old scuffed up dollar store reading glasses and an old computer w a dim screen –but basically I just missed it.

3) So what about personal checks?
Somebody is going to the Post Office and collecting the donation forms and checks. Who?

I remember back when James Comey had come out to the podium and said that ‘no reasonable prosecutor’ would indict or go after Hillary Clinton – because her actions lacked intent.
My comment then was that intent was not part of the law, it was actual crimes or not actual crimes, as intent was the beginning of going after thought crimes. That determining intent behind an action to not prosecute creates the legal precedent to prosecute based solely on intentions – i.e. okay, it’s not a crime, but you intended to do a crime.
We are now at that point.
What, if the news stories and leaks from the NY prosecutors office are true, we are looking at the situation where yes, what President Trump did, before he was President (whether Stormy or business paperwork) was not actually a crime – but he intended to commit a crime.
In today’s news we see the results of how lawfare creates a precedent out of thin air, plant the thoughts in the minds of people by first by establishing ‘no intent’ get some courts, talking media heads, activists push the concept of “intent” and now we reach a point of indicting (accusing) someone for the thought crime of ‘intention’ to do something, where that entire concept of intent, not actual acts, is now assumed by the masses of people to believe an actual crime occurred.
Watch closely, Nancy Pelosi the other day tweeted that President Trump has all the opportunity in the world to “prove his innocence” – that too is not how our actual laws work. All people are presumed innocent until a governing body can prove their guilt.
Give that concept (must prove ones innocence) another seven years to matriculate in the minds of the people, the courts, and the talking heads, and viola – another one of those fundamental changes has been activated.

One is, the cost to a private individual can bankrupt many,and Fed Prosecutors use that, to force defendants to plea bargain.
State A.G.’s have the resources to pursue such cases.
Secondly, representing States, they can pursue 10thamendment cases, to claw back rights/powers reserved “to the States and the People”. THEY, and not you and I, have standing to bring such cases.

Again, while it wasn’t a major news story, it was reported that when investigators went to the State Dept with a request for documents to confirm Hillary, Human, etc had received their initial classified briefings, they were told the State Dept. could not confirm they ever had.
From that point on, the investigators knew the investigation would not ever result in a prosecution.

I am really conflicted about Biden’s “dementia” TBH! I walked through a decade of watching my mother fail and it was a very clear progression that only went in one direction but Ol’ Slo’ Joe is NOT following that pattern at all! He has many moments where he is clearly not tracking well but he also has a lot of times where he is able to process and respond to questions and comments – not necessarily appropriately “I heard there was ice cream!” but not in the manner that a dementia patient would.
I think that he is being heavily medicated, yes, and I think that he has some of the mild cognitive decline that would be expected in someone his age, especially considering his health history but I also think that he is, as he has always been, just an arrogant jerk who lies as easily as most people breath!
He may have lost even the limited filters that he had when he was younger but I am not sure if that is dementia or simply the knowledge that he, and his corrupt family, are “untouchable” and therefore he longer has to even pretend to play nice with others. Agreed (not an attorney here). But it is my understanding also that intent is not a factor that ALONE determines whether to pursue (or not) a criminal case. In fact the entire philosophy that supports INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER is that intent is not a factor. That through the actions of a person a harm has been created. And there are many other doctrines that do not specify intent as a factor.
However, in almost all criminal cases, INTENT CAN BE CONSIDERED. I think of this as a factor that aggravates a criminal prosecution and can be admitted into a court proceeding to demonstrate a level of criminality.
for instance, if I tell the georgia state official: All we need is X amount of votes….or “do you realize that this looks bad”…that there COULD BE a criminal aspect by ignoring that there are some votes that have not been properly audited and properly counted.
well this is a perfect example of where intent has meaning. Determining the intent …was it a malicious intent to criminally manipulate the state official…Or was it simply stating a desire that the election was unfair? and more to the point…was there an actual criminal effect…did the state official criminally violate the law by seeking to count votes unfairly? obviously the answer is no..there was no corresponding harm or violation that related to the call…whereas the President would be perfectly normal to speak his mind and views that NOT pursuing an investigation to “find” votes not counted, or votes that were counted improperly, could very well BE a type of criminal liability for that state official. In this matter, it is not possible to read the mind of the president to know exactly what was the intent. So we look to the harm that followed. There was none. This is my understanding of how intent should be treated. it is just one of a series of factors that can be (or not) evaluated with a criminal prosecution.

In fact there was no evidence to prove harm.
what we are seeing is a departure from reason, logic and ethical standards in the court room. Sidney Powell has written about this in her book, License to Lie. It provides a solid insight into how the courts have been weaponized to destroy due process…The book is very compelling and uses real world examples when the courts have failed to actually uphold the lay and protect the defendants against abuse of due process.
