NBC tries to walk carefully through the minefield of cultural marxism with the revelation from the Nashville Chief of Police that shooter Audrey Hale (28) was motivated by a sense of resentment. The targeting of a Christian School specifically due to an internal sense of ‘resentment’, highlights the radicalization of gender by the far-left.
Stoke the fires of rage and resentment long enough, while justifying violence as an excusable outcome caused by wounded sensibilities and uncomfortable words, and the Nashville result is what happens. Hale was an unstable biological woman who identified herself as a man. She left behind a manifesto, it will be interesting to see if the authorities release it.
(Via NBC) – A sense of “resentment” might have played a role in a 28-year-old’s deadly attack on the private Christian school they once attended, Nashville police said Monday.
The shooter, Nashville resident Audrey Hale, had no previous criminal record before opening fire at The Covenant School, killing three children and three adults, authorities said.
“There’s some belief that there was some resentment for having to go to that school,” Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake told Lester Holt of NBC News.
Hale had carefully planned the attack with detailed maps and surveillance, police said.
While the shooter might have targeted The Covenant School, Drake stopped short of saying Hale was going after any specific people. There were also indications that Hale had planned to target other locations, Drake told NBC News.
Covenant’s head of school, Katherine Koonce, 60, was among those killed.
“She targeted random students in the school … whoever she came in contact with, she fired rounds,” Drake said, referring to the shooter.
Hale shot open a locked door to gain entrance to the school, officials said.
The former student is alleged to have left behind writings being studied by local and federal investigators.
“We have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this date, the actual incident,” Drake told reporters hours after the shooting. “We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place.” He said Hale was transgender.
Officials “feel that she identifies as trans, but we’re still in the initial investigation into all of that and if it actually played a role into this incident,” Drake said. (read more)
The ONLY thing that can stop bad guys/girls (he/she/they/them/is/was) with a gun is GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS. Thanks to body cams and testosterone we all saw how that happens. However, as it were, some minutes too late unfortunately.
I imagine that resentment will grow as she spends eternity burning in hell.
While the Nashville police did a great job on scene, I have seen a report that it took them 15 minutes after the 911 call to get there. Still looking for confirmation of this but the average police response time in these incidents is 6 minutes. An unopposed murderer is able to shoot someone every 10 seconds. Assuming the average, depending on the police even when they do everything right means accepting 36 causalities. This is unacceptable to me and it should be to everyone. The only responsible solution is arming and training teachers and staff.
This is not a criticism of the police but there are simply not and can never be enough of them. As the saying goes, when seconds count, the police are minutes away.

I would not serve as a staff or teacher at a school without proper and legal training and a licensed weapon for protecting my students and myself. Who else wants to work such an important profession yet be left so helpless?

If police had gone straight to the school instead of the woman’s house who called in the message “something bad’s going to happen”, they might have saved 6 more lives.
What I read, the girl said they didn’t come to her house til after 3 o’clock. If they were there early I missed seeing that info.

The shooter had multiple targets in mind. The Christian school was merely one of them. Apparently, she scoped out each target in detail, wrote detailed plans and decided her primary target (which was not revealed by investigators) was changed to the Christian school because security was too difficult to circumvent. I believe she meant to go on a rampage and hit several targets one after the other. Fortunately, the response time was rapid, within 14 min of her breaching the school doors she was stopped permanently. She fully expected to end her life that day. She told her close friend via Instagram message mere minutes before entering the school. Yes, she pulled in the parking lot after looping around a bit, parked and then messaged her friend. Exited the vehicle and immediately took out the glass double entry doors and waltzed right into the school. The alarms went off as she prowled the hallways. The school apparently went into immediate lockdown and classrooms were locked. You can see the fire alarm flashing lights and sound on the police body cams. The victims must have been caught out in the open. She was on the 2nd floor in what looked like a lobby lounge area or partial library and was firing at responding police vehicles out the window when multiple officers approached in tactical formation from both sides of the 2nd floor room. I don’t believe she had a chance to even return fire. She was down instantly.
