Thank you to all readers and members of the Conservative Treehouse fellowship for your continued support. Without your help this little corner of the research and discussion internet just could not exist. I will always work earnestly to be deserving of that support and fellowship.
We are fortunate, blessed and protected by a loving God, who has abundant confidence in our ability.
I am just about able to get back to regular research and article writing now, with the remaining hurricane Ian recovery challenges no longer dictating the schedule.
Thank you again for your support and gracious understanding over the past several months. As new visitors attest every day, the fellowship in this commenting community is unique, insightful, articulate, intelligent, funny and awesome. I love you guys.
In the middle of the recovery chaos, and based on numerous requests for an option, we were able to set up and beta test a one-time financial support system providing an alternative to PayPal. However, depending on your browser settings (and ad blocker software) I am also hearing that many people cannot see it. There is a screengrab below showing what I am talking about.
The alternative financial support appears directly below the PayPal link in a yellow box as highlighted. Some have said browser settings can block visibility, and I have also heard it doesn’t show up on some mobile devices. I am not sure what the technical issue might be other than ISP filters (now becoming more problematic) and/or Adblocking software.
Due to my personal requirements for Treehouse user privacy, and my firm stance on not retaining user data lists, the alternative system does not provide a subscriber option. If you use the alternative support function, each time you would want to support CTH you would have to click it and reenter your information. No data is saved.
Financial support through PayPal remains the most efficient and stable way to support CTH. I know they have received a lot of criticism, much of it well placed; however, my own experience with PayPal has been solid. When CTH was deplatformed and under attack from Big Tech (eye of Sauron) to their credit PayPal stood firm and supported CTH in providing their service. They would NOT demonetize us.
While my experience with PayPal seems to run counter to the outcome described by others, the unexpected supportive position from PayPal made a strong impression on me. Again, perhaps unique, not sure why, but my experience with them has been very good. If that ever changed, I would immediately let you know. The data security and convenience of their system is also solid and useful.
Regardless, there are now two options: (1) PayPal and (2) Proprietary. Due to legal caution and the data privacy construct, the Proprietary alternative has a 30-day access lag built in. Meaning if you use that option, in approximately 30 days the funds become accessible, whereas support through the preferred PayPal option is immediate.
March is the month when all the annual fees for licensing, email notification systems, data security, legal retainers and background stuff associated with the building of CTH 2.0 are paid. Thank you to everyone who helps offset these costs and keeps our voice in the fight…

Eyes of a mouse/Ears of an elephant…. and don’t forget to live your best life!
Love to all,
Sundance

God Bless you Sundance and all your lovely minions!
It is an honor to support this worthy warrior of a website.
I’ll stay with Paypal as long as they treat you well, my first expenditure every month, automatically.
OK, done. Thanks
Have you considered givesendgo for donations? They stood up against Canada when the other “donation” site started deciding where your donations should go to instead of the truckers.
Just chiming in here…. I am pretty sure that privacy is the issue with GiveSendGo. The recipient of the funds must be identified by legal name. If an organization, there must be a ‘real person’ identified to receive the funds. I’m going on what I have read in the past and my understanding.
This
Also, Give Send Go’s donor list for the Canadian Truckers fundraiser was hacked. The list was released and everyone on it received lots of spam and a lengthy email just before the mid-terms. Hopefully, they’ve since fixed the issue that allowed that to happen.
Also, Anedot.
“The alternative financial support appears directly below the PayPal link in a yellow box. . .”
It does not show up on my Google Chrome browser page as you describe. I opted out of PayPal b/c they stole money from me. Could you place your Proprietary alternative at the top of your pages as a drop down option where it could be seen by those of us unable to see it on the right margin?
What did they steal from you ?? How atrocious!
Does not show for me on Linux mint 20.3 with a VPN, in either brave with shields down or with Firefox.
Alternatively, I generally get either a Visa or Mastercard prepaid card to use with paypal or elsewhere.
You must activate it online tho and they want even more info than they ever did before ie requiring a email, address and a phone number, perhaps even in the name of the giftee as an alternative.
30 day lag seems outrageous, they must seriously need the interest monies off a 30 day float. I’ll use one of my other Microshaft PC’s to see if I see the alternative payment system in those.
I’m pasting this part of a reply I just made – based on my observations:
On my i-phone, using Brave, I see the alternate link on the HOME page. Scroll to the bottom and it is there, below ‘Prayer Requests’ and the PayPal link.
On my desk-top PC, same Brave browser, I don’t see the link at all. Same with Dissenter – no link is visible. With other browsers,(Firefox, UR, CryptoTab, Opal ), I see the alternate link on the upper right side of the page, below ‘prayer requests’ and the PayPal link – exactly like the screen shot Sundance pasted. I have never seen the alternate option on the link (Support CTH Here) that is sometimes posted at the bottom of a blog post. It always goes to PayPal
Brave is my primary browser and I turned off the ad-blockers to see the alternative.
Voilà! That did the trick !
Danimal28, I use Brave on my cell.
At the top of the screen is the search bar.
On the right side of the bar is the Brave icon (Red Lion).
Tap that icon and the “Shields Up/Down” Box opens. Simply tap to “Raise/Lower” the shield.
If one has the PayPal “Donate” button visible on the screen, immediately after dropping the shield the alternate choice appears.
After donating, simply tap the Brave icon again and raise the shield.
Slimjet(a Chrome variant) is my default browser with ad blocking and VPN. Alternative donation site didn’t appear so I exited Slimjet and started the Ubuntu-supplied Firefox. Entered CTH and went through the alternative site and now your fees are paid. /s
Immediately shutdown Firefox and back to Slimjet in less time than it has taken to report this. Received notification that my donation was accepted.
You rock Sundance. I feel honored by you and my fellow Treepers allowing my posts.
God bless you and yours.
My computer runs Ubuntu, a Linux variant. My aggression toward Bill Gates.
Yes, that 30 days is absurd. Doesn’t speak well of company solvency.
Same here on mine. But I turned off ad blocker and it is showing now. You might look at your extensions you have running.
I used the alternate site about two weeks ago with no issues. I looked for it on the CTH site because I remembered the talk of a PayPal alternative. I try to avoid anything ‘google’ related so I have not looked for it using google chrome. Brave is a Chrome based browser, I think (I’m no expert here).
Interesting observation: On my i-phone, using Brave, I see the alternate link on the HOME page. Scroll to the bottom and it is there, below ‘Prayer Requests’ and the PayPal link.

I use PayPal’s Virtual Terminal for business. I’ve not had any issues but I try to be sure money is not sitting there for very long.
THIS worked for me. Thanks to those who shared: “Turn off ad-blockers and you should see the alternative”
Turn off ad-blockers and you should see the alternative.
Interesting. I use Chrome as the browser and the yellow box is visible. Not using any ad blockers which may be why it’s visible on this device.

SD you are the one source I trust and look forward to reading multiple times a day. You are my go-to site and I am never disappointed! Your articles as well as the well informed, smart, and oh so funny subscribers have made many a day better for me! Donation being sent and God Bless you all! Don’t know what I’d do without the CTH and hope I never find out!!!
I’d feel better sending a cashier’s check somewhere
Yes… is there an address or PO Box?
Even a po box or some such.
Yes, please.
Cashiers check via snail mail.
I can’t be the only techno+paranoic who refuses to touch ‘the 3rd rail’.
Contract with a local CPA firm to receive our checks.
You have no bank account?
A cashier’s check conceals the user’s personal bank account information. It is money drawn from the Bank’s account and not the checking account holder’s personal account. The bank internally transfers the amount from the user (account holder) before they release the cashier’s check.
It’s very important to save the pink receipt, if you lose the actual cashiers check the bank is less than helpful to replace the lost cashiers check
Yes! Always save receipts for cashiers checks! (and Money Orders)
You lovely, gracious, honorable, noble man! … You give thanks to us, and yet I know that each of us feels the other way around about you!
What a blessing you are. It’s an honor to be able to support your excellent work.
Missy, very well said. We love you right back Sundance and thank you for all you do for us.
Right on, Missy! I believe the word humble would also describe the man known as Sundance. May God continue to protect you and yours.
There’s some good conservative sites around but nothing compares to the truthful information and logical thinking that Sundance puts out, not to mention the camaraderie of fellow Treepers, in my humble opinion.
Onward Christian Soldiers!!
Worth every penny, done.
When I read what you have and are going thru brings back a mix of thoughts.
Spent the days of my “ute” just to the north in “Penniless” county, worked for years at beautiful Ft. Desoto Park,
(did the restore and history of 2 of the guns that were on Egmont Key now displayed at the fort).
Mid 70’s made a trip and then the move to the Palm Beach Gardens area, whole world changed. Bahamas little over an hour away, fresh fish, fresh “spinney crawdads” and the annual board up the windows cause there’s a “big blow a comin”.
Live now just to the north in the Red county of Martin, we have put of a very good fight for many years to make Martin not look like Miami, some of that has worked well. Some you have to give way to look at the bigger picture ( we still have cows grazing).
Went thru the 04 hurricane season here while building a new house, then 05 was another walk in the park, Was singing “When the levee breaks” at work as Katrina was headed to NO—Going to hell for that one.
Have been lucky thru out as background is building, so was able to do any repairs and help friends. Insurance companies are not “on your side.”
Best of luck
Edink
I think insurance companies have become the biggest theft industry in the world. They have no tolerance for even one small claim and you pay them your entire life to have protection. Go figure.
I backed out of a parking space at dusk one evening two years ago. I do not know if the other person was moving or sitting still, but it was a bumper scrape. The black lady came out screaming at me and my 6 year old grandson was scared to death. We exchanged all kinds of information (too much) and away we went. She took her Mercedes Benz to the dealer and the repair was $1,000. I would have paid out of pocket but she wanted to stick me for hurting her precious car. I am not exaggerating.
I lost my safe driver discount and its still on my driving record with the insurance company. F&&k them!
Our home insurance and three cars with the same company for over 12 years. We live out in the rural area without an official fire department so I pay through the nose to have home insurance. It’s not one of my more pleasant moments. BTW, somewhere along the way I learned about a terrible company that keeps a file on everyone and insurance companies survive by it….Lexus Nexus. Beware of even reporting a busted pipe which was later repaired by a friend with no insurance claim. There are firecats.
A lot of the increase in premiums is due to cost of RE-INSURANCE (the insurers that insure insurance companies). We may have a year where we have no hurricanes, but if CA has huge wildfires and the local insurers run out of claims $$ to meet demand, it will tap its reinsurance for help.
That drives up the cost for everyone, even in states with few claims. Ugh.
A good old fashioned word best describes your efforts to persevere in spite of it all.
Gumption.
Wish we had more of it in what is left of our country.
Highest Regards from a long time branch polisher.
How did we miss this Feb 16 news? Major human trafficking bust in FL. 213 arrested. 24 victims who were brought over the border, forced, threatened that families will be killed, to pay debts. Sherriff Grady’s press conference on what coyote smugglers are doing:
This press conference had a lot of info and substance to it. Well worth the time.
Everyone in FL LOVES Sheriff Judd! HE DA MAN!!
Interesting! I don’t see the new donation link in Safari on my iPad (I do have ad blocking software), but when I go to Brave browser, it shows up! Just donated as I very much appreciate this site and all you and your team do here.
Done. I treasure this little corner of cyberspace.
I use the Brave browser that I think is built using Chrome and the lower donation boxes do not appear.
Sarasotosfan, I use Brave on my cell.
In your case, I would guess, both might appear.
After donating, simply tap the Brave icon again and raise the shield.
Love you! Thank you for all you do. God Bless. Godspeeed. 👊👊🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have tried for months to donate – just tried again. Requested credit card (not PayPal) entered all the CC info and up comes PayPal saying difficulties in payment.
I cancelled P/P several months ago. I usually donate several times a year, don’t know what else I can do???
Because I had not used it in a long time, I had to update my CC info on PP, then it got stuck the spinning circle, but I refreshed the page and lo and behold it welcomed me back to PP and I finalized the donation. Just hope PP doesn’t get hacked. Thankfully, I have ID Protection on my bank card/checking.
Can I send a postal money order? Address?
“I am just about able to get back to regular research and article writing now…”
So all the excellent pieces you’ve kept up on over the last several months represent “just about able”?
It’s kinda scary what you will be able to accomplish at a level of “fully able.” 🤣
I too will stick with my auto PayPal setup for a while before trying your new option, but very glad it’s going to be there in case of rocky 2023 times… thanks for setting it up.
NWS San Diego Issues FIRST-EVER Blizzard Warning on Thursday – Video
https://commoncts.blogspot.com/2023/02/nws-san-diego-issues-first-ever.html
PayPal has been a good choice for me. Never had a problem with it.
You and this site are what keep me sane and grounded in an increasingly irrational world. My small bit of assistance is well spent here; I wish I could do more.
I have passed on a lot of your writing to others to educate as many as I can. Your calm, logical, fact-filled articles have been irrefutable by some very articulate liberal friends.
May God bless you and yours for this truly important work you do. I know I do!
I hope you too are living your best life!
I see both links “Donate Through PayPal” and “Support The Treehouse” but neither work for me when I click on them.
Thank you Sundance for all these years of sharing your insights, guidance and holding our community together.
You are indeed our ‘watchman’ and we stand with you. Sent a PP donation, as I know insurance renewals coming up may well quadruple!
As I drive around SW Florida, the wounds are heartbreaking. American flags still fly on battered canal docks; spray-painted claim #’s on boarded up homes; yet embraces of ‘I’ll get by.’
You can see and FEEL the Christ in most eye contacts — and smile with them.
Love to all — Ryn
#1 go to news site where I can find the truth with in depth detail.
Thanks for the info on PayPal.
I was on the portico on J6. I didn’t go in but I had an altercation with the “riot police” (they were children dressed up in costume…I have video). My friend was bear sprayed direct to the eyes. I shouted at the kid like his mother and he had a child’s fear in his eyes at my fury. That’s no cop.
But I digress.
I think God has shielded me from any legal repercussions for my presence there that day.
I think He shielded you from impact from PayPal shenanigans.
Thanks for all you do. I moved to Florida in Fall 2020. Ian was my first Hurricane and Nicole right after (I’m beachside space coast). I remember you in Charlie. I didn’t know what to do for hurricane prep. So I followed your advice to the T. I just did it. Afterward it all came into focus and I realized the “why”. That’s how clueless I was. But I trusted you and I thank you very much.
God bless you and yours.
In my opinion avoid Paypal. The mindset of management that they feel free to fine users for commentary on sites like this make using it a potential severe threat. I cancelled my Paypal acct the day this policy was revealed. Saying they reversed it does not change that mindset.
Cute puppy!
Thanks. Appreciate the alternative to paypal.
I trust PayPal as far as I can throw them. They’ll pull the rug out from under you when the time is right.
PayPal may be so “gracious” because they don’t mind maintaining a list of CTH financial supporters for the benefit of their DS masters.
First I want to thank God that Sundance doesn’t have a Board of Directors!!! I also believe that Sundance treats us all the same small donors like me and big donors. I don’t trust PayPal or the US Postal service. I donate using a credit card knowing that the FBI is probably tracking all of us America Firsters, President Trump supporters here at CTH and I don’t give a sh*t! Godspeed Sundance!!!
>>> March is the month when all the annual fees for licensing, email notification systems, data security, legal retainers and background stuff associated with the building of CTH 2.0 are paid. Thank you to everyone who helps offset these costs and keeps our voice in the fight.
Goodness Sundance, thank YOU. 🙂
I made a modest donation several days ago (via PP, no issues), and will endeavor to make this a regular, at-least-monthly occurrence – it’s the least I can do for value received here at the Treehouse. I can see both donation methods on my laptop, using Chrome as my browser.
I’m glad to hear your life continues to return ever closer-to-normal after the storms.
God bless.
~ EM
I see the alternative at the bottom of the site. I don’t see it anywhere else. I am on a chrome browser on a backup android after losing my primary phone.
Glad things are getting back to normal SD. You have never let the site down even during this tough time in your home town and to you. Thanks for all you manage to handle and make look so easy at times. We know it isn’t. God bless.
I turned off my ad-blocker and now see the alternative. Good to know PayPal hasn’t attacked you, sir.
I can’t see it.
When Paypal went crazy last October, I gave one more time, enough to last for ten of my monthly donations, so I’m still “good” with you all. I really want an alternative to Paypal. Thank you for working to get us one.
CTH has been and IS my first choice. Your subject matter is extensive and the “go deep” is a great bonus for me. Truly a site like no other. You are appreciated!
Take your ad blocker off Chrome. The alternative appears!
I assume you mean “go into ‘Settings’ and turn off the ad blocker”. Then, after the transaction, go back into settings and turn the ad blocker back on.
Note: some browsers may require that you exit the browser and restart it for the changed settings to take effect.
Sundance,
I’m glad that things are getting a little more back to normal. I hope some Florida Treepers are helping.
I loved your Git-R-Done article and video that you posted about the hurricane. It was super inspiring to think that this is the real America and it still exists. As you said, “We are a nation that knows how to get sh!t done.” That is something we should never forget. Anyone who did not read your Git-R-Done article should read it now and watch the Hallelujah video of the reconstruction by “damn good people”. It is so wonderful!
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/10/20/a-tribute-to-git-r-done/
https://rumble.com/v1oy0rv-hallelujah.html
I disabled the pop up blocker and it shows up fine.
I’ll. try it later.
I definitely owe you, more than money or words can say.
Could it be that PayPal allows usage as a honey pot to gather CTH supporter data? Just a thought.
I no longer use PayPal due to their stances in the past.
Thank you for all your hard work and research! I trust your analysis more than any other source, especially when it comes to MAGA.
Sundance,
That poor pup has gotten a workout here at the Treehouse.
Does he (is he a “he”?, asking for a friend…).
…have a name?
He could be “Cursday’s Macot” in the Treehouse.
Honored to contribute when I can!! I am able to use the debit/credit card link- I am using Brave as my browser on an IPhone.
Just donated through PayPal. I trust them. God bless all you do for us. You are truly a Refuge in these uncertain times.
I know the truth when I see it and when I read your work Sundance. I read here most every day.
and share my testimony of your site as well as your work often. What a world we’d have if every
journalist had a 1/10th of your integrity, love of country and love of truth. Proud American
dollars coming your way today.
Done! I used PayPal, never had a problem with them either. God bless you, Sundance.
Ditto!
I just tried to donate using the alternative route, but I’m not sure it worked. I filled everything out and clicked “Pay,” and then . . . nothing. Guess I’ll wait to see if it shows up on my end.
I received an email immediately.
Same here
Immediate email also
