We will definitely see how the Biden administration leading the charge fare in this. Indict a ham sandwich requiring a legal fiction. If anything, Alvin Bragg thinks he’s smart enough to try it, to achieve a political victory; nothing more.

1) Assuming the UNIPARTY doesn’t rig the primaries just like they rigged the general.

The same words used in Breitbart’s link, in the same order, but without the quotes and punctuation, make it sound like those words apply to Turley.

The difference here is (no I’m not an attorney) that Donald Trump was funding his own campaign. If you take that route; there is no limit on the amount of money he can give himself, in any capacity.
If Cohen just went ahead and wrote a check to Stormy and then went to Trump and said: “I made this payment of $130,000. to quiet this extortionist, so Melania wouldn’t be hurt in anyway…blah, blah, blah….”
Trump could then just write a check to his attorney for legal fees, which they were in this case.
So, what felony was committed? Extortion…by Stormy…Trump paid legal fees and or money to fund his own campaign…he didn’t break any laws…

There is only so much oxygen available for the outrage machine. 1 outrageous thing would dominate the debate, which was biased in his favor, and the other 9 got implemented without a peep. If something else dominated, then he got 10 outrageous things done without a peep.
There are a vast array of things the left is doing that should bring outrage. And a few of these outrageous things come to light, dominating the airwaves, but only for short bursts.
Bragg’s political persecution has a timetable all its own. But some scheduler of debates would have had it scheduled for after Trump’s perp walk. Trump, had different plans. This debate took place on Trump’s schedule, not the left’s. The left couldn’t resist the temptation when Trump triggered them.
The media system is ‘Distractions are Us’. We are scheduled for a weekly debate every Sunday, and daily debates during the week. Anything that can bring viewers for any length of time will dominate and distract from the rest. And the turnover is great. Even if Tucker were still showing J6 vids, he would have to stop for this. (Spending weeks on J6 would only lose viewers. I would like to think he could have spent a week, but how many other things would he have to deep six. And were there really enough newsworthy clips for two days of viewing? I got the impression that he always planned to devote day two to the outrage day one caused.)
Some are very artful, or simply lucky, in how they use this distraction system to their advantage. Such as Biden using Putin’s invasion to erase all the talk about covid lies and vaccine harms. Biden may have been instrumental in triggering when it would happen. But all Presidents learn the hard way that they can’t control this outrage distraction all of the time. Just think about the Chinese spy balloon. Biden had no control over that one.
Nobody has full control. And the system is designed to pull your attention. Distraction is the result. Unless you let them.

I agree – it was one of those WOW moments on TV. He was spot on the three “C’s”being extremely clear – concise and convincing. The DA and the grand jury would have to be in a leftist cult with blood oaths present to ignore what he said.
Keep on mind, Deace has been pushing hard for DeSantis over Trump.

I have an immense amount of respect for Ron DeSantis (though I don’t know him at all). He’s the best and most successful GOP politician of modern times. He’s earned high standards from me, which is why I have to say his statement on Trump’s potential looming arrest isn’t sufficient for me. I get there is a political competition going on, and Trump isn’t the classiest guy in the joint. But there is a higher principle at play, even if some of Trump’s groupies don’t really mean that when they say so. He should absolutely use his office to interpose against this unjust prosecution, as he has so admirably every other time as governor (which is why he just won an unprecedented landslide). If indeed Trump is arrested tomorrow, I sincerely hope DeSantis reconsiders stronger action than today’s statement indicated.

The vast majority of the base is NOT liking the nonchalant attitude establishment GOPs (including Ron DESANTIS, courtesy of Paul Ryan and Scott Walker) are having in the face of Trump’s political persecution.
It will bite RDS in the arse, sooner than later. I like DeSantis. He’s a great governor. But this isn’t the time for stripper jokes. This is the time to show what you’re mettle is. So far, he’s very much lacking.

But will the jury and judge care? The venue’s historical hard left bias suggests they won’t.
Huh? So you think Cohen is being tortured by all this, but Trump and his family, who are facing much, MUCH worse (all while not participating in illegal activity) get no mention from you?
I don’t feel sorry for someone who got where he is by being a low-down, dirty, rotten, good-for-nothing, SPINELESS CROOK! I do feel lots of sympathy for a man who has been hounded nonstop ever since he stood up for justice and the common people. And by the way, I don’t hear Trump whining and complaining or of him having “suicidal thoughts,” do you?

In my opinion, if you believe what Mr. Costello says, and I, for one, have no reason to disbelieve him, then his statements would appear to underscore the extremely political undertones of the Manhattan’s D. A. decision to prosecute the former President, which now would cross the line from a case of personal bad judgment to one of mind-boggling allegedly unjustified and unscrupulous political persecution — the kind that one would never dream could happen in a democratic America.
Anyone still think this is going to be resolved in the courts?
In the era of the insane Costello’s interview with Ticker gave me great solace that there are a few Good men left. No matter where the never ending line of corruption takes hold I will hold man like Costello my Anchor in the perfect storm of Good Vs Evil!
