Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is investigating Trump for felony falsification of business records because President Trump paid his attorney, Michael Cohen, with business funds identified as ‘legal services’.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting preliminary security assessments, the officials said, and are discussing potential security plans in and around the Manhattan Criminal Court, at 100 Centre Street, in case Trump is charged in connection with an alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels and travels to New York to face any charges.
The officials stress that the interagency conversations and planning are precautionary in nature because no charges have been filed.
The agencies involved include the NYPD, New York State Court Officers, the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, the officials said. I worry mightily about this. They know this will only improve his standing with MAGA, and boost him in the elections, primary and general, because every sane person knows this is a sham, and a fraud. The question is: Why do this? What goes through my mind is that when they book him, he may be separated from his USSS detail. If this occurs, well, I know these people are every bit as diabolical as my worst fears, and probably more so. If that’s the case, do they even care about the consequences? After all, you can’t put a dead man in office, though Democrats have surely tried. What if they’ve grown so anxious over their immediate prospects that they no longer care what it looks like? Here’s what you need to know about the possible Trump indictment:
The goal isn’t the political fallout. They know he isn’t going to exit the race, nor is he constitutionally required to. The goal to keep him from being able to raise enough money for a serious campaign. It’s the same thing they did with Mueller and the Russia Hoax—drained the war chest. But he had the advantage then of being the incumbent, so the RNC was (mostly) helpful. The 2020 campaign still spent over $1B.
The question is whether donors will stand by him or look to an alternative. (The RNC doesn’t have to support any one candidate because it’s an open primary.)
All of this should matter because whether or not you support a Trump 2024, tactics like this shouldn’t influence your ability to choose a candidate for the GOP nomination. He should win or lose fair and square.
This is how radical the insane Leftists are in their TDS. Because of their perpetual witch hunts to GET TRUMP, no one is even pretending this is a remotely justified indictment; everyone knows it’s politically motivated.

Sorry, the reference everyone makes about being “too far over their skis” makes me laugh. Anyone stating that has never skied. If you are over the tips of your skis, you will be slowing down. Most skiers on steep slopes are too petrified to lean forward and end up sitting back. Sitting back speeds you up and pushes your skis out from under you. The only perfect way to ski is centered over the whole ski.
Anyone out there that can help me understand where the statement; “getting too far over their skis” came from, I would be interested to know.

There are so many things that are looking bad for Biden at the moment: the Ukraine war is looking like a mess, the FDIC and the Fed and are bailing out the uniparty’s billionaire donor base depositors while telling Americans this isn’t a bailout, and the Congressional investigation of the Biden crime family influence peddling operation is beginning to reveal evidence, and suddenly Trump is going to be arrested!
Isn’t this the old tired playbook of the uniparty?
