Seems Twitter is down (or was, I don’t use it) where Elon Musk responded on some message service saying “the system is brittle.” Why do I suspect they were trying to disconnect from the US intelligence services and found the system will cease to operate when disconnected?
I get the same ugly feeling after learning about Ford’s “self-repossessing car” patent and learning my new truck has a non-optional wireless mobile network connection always running. When I asked who is paying for the service, they said “Ford” but I don’t want it if I own it. I paid for it cash on day one. It’s mine. They have no rights to this.
Mistakes get made. Sometimes it might be “locking out the wrong vehicle” or it might be offering the government access to the service to do things I do not want.
And while I’m reasonably sure I can locate the module which offers this connection, I am very unsure as to what will happen if I disconnect it.

Yep. I was very much into the new Bronco but when I found out all of them had this “Connected” feature is when I lost interest. Ford Dealers have been forcing salesman to install the Ford App on the cellphones of every new Ford buyer that came through.
This started years ago with Progressive insurance little “dongle” that you plugged into your OBDII port. It tracked everything about how and where you drive and it would “lower” your insurance rates. in truth, they just raise it if you dont. So they get all this “big data” for free, and then sell it, so its a win-win.
Now all new cars are being built with that “connectivity” already installed.

Yeah, my company no longer recruits at any of the “elite” colleges any more. We used to get all of our interns and new hires from “top tier” schools, including Stanford. But, no longer.
We just couldn’t find anyone worth hiring these past ~5 years at those places. We don’t even bother with attending their events nor do we sponsor senior projects, etc. any more.
We’ve moved to smaller lesser known schools that actually are admitting based upon students’ academic achievements.

Just two days ago I reported that Bakhmut is falling. The Ukrainian soldiers there are outgunned 1 to 10 and die under artillery fire with little chance to shoot back. More reports from the front have since come in. They support my dire view.
The German pro-Ukrainian news outlet Bild reported this morning that there were misgivings in the Ukrainian war leadership:
President Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi have conflicting views on how the military should handle the situation in Bakhmut, according to unnamed sources within the Ukrainian political leadership cited in a report by Bild.
Bild writes that Zaluzhnyi was deliberating a tactical withdrawal from Bakhmut weeks ago over concern for the wellbeing of his troops.
The Ukrainian government told Bild that remaining in Bakhmut was the right decision due to the serious damage it inflicted on Russian military personnel and equipment. However, according to other sources cited by the publication, the situation is at risk of becoming untenable.
“The vast majority of soldiers in Bakhmut do not understand why the city is being held,” a Ukrainian military analyst told Bild on condition of anonymity.
Just hours after that item came out Zelensky’s office issued a press release denying any such trouble (machine translation):

that set of doors was one of several entrances into what looked like a circular foyer
there was a crowd of people outside pressed up against the glass doors and I think the doors were barricaded very lightly with light furniture, a chair or small desklet
earlier, I think I saw those same doors manned by guards in light guard dress (shirt with epaulets, not tactical gear)
so I infer that at some point a decision was made to withdraw security from those doors
to break in, I think someone would have needed to break one of the glass panels in the doors and reach in and turn the door handle
then the crowd pushed their way thru the doors
like I said above, Viking guy was right at the front of that crowd and was about the 4th person in, 2 or 3 guys left of him scrambled over the barricade piece, which – after Viking guy — was pushed aside and the rest of the crowd surged in
basically, it looked like the barricaded doors were abandoned at some point and left to the crowd
that was a conscious decision (on security’s part) — to no longer defend those doors and leave them to the crowd’s disposition

These are feelings no Christian or Jew who follows the holy texts we share in common should ever feel for long. — It is human to feel them at times in the face of evil — but go back to the texts we share if it sticks with you for more than a moment….
God prefers an — underdog.
It is one of THE handful of recurrent themes in the texts. Gideon in Judges 7 is the best quick example but the theme comes up —- frequently.
God does not choose —- the Best Warrior —- nor builds up His people into the Mightiest Nation before putting them into action.
…..because God doesn’t want them to puff themselves up afterword.
God wants it clear who engineered the Victory.
I’d be more confident about today + the near future —— if there was a real Revival sweeping North American + Western Europe + an uprising of the search for God throughout the world……
…….I don’t know if God is going to step in without that. I can’t read His mind….
But even in a worst case scenario – even if this turns out to be my end — it will simply move me on to something —- far better than I could have ever hoped to experience in this lifetime….

……I can understand that fear —- but not for very long if it is a Christian as he is.
We can’t lose in the only true fundamental sense of losing… They can’t destroy my soul….
And if God moves in our behalf – especially if more + more will turn to Him in this hour of dire need ——- it doesn’t matter what capabilities the Elites have engineered to mess with our DNA or EMP our electrical grid….
