First of all, the example you site of a scientist who retracted his initial position of a lab leak causing the pandemic did NOT retract for the reason you imply. He retracted because he came to the conclusion that there really was no pandemic at all, that it was all a result of manipulated statistics, mostly stemming from the misuse of the PCR process, and that the excess deaths were the result of the “treatment” (institutionalized medical malpractice). I agree with that 100% and have for years now.
Second, the reason that the “lab leak theory” is BS is because it wasnt a leak. It was made in a lab and intentionally dispersed.
Third, if you are suggesting that viruses do not exist, how do you explain the occurrence which has happened in my house and every one else’s family for decades, of one of my children coming home with a cold, and then my other child getting it some days later, and then my wife, and then myself? If that is not a virus or something contagious, what is it?

According to Wikipedia, DeSantis oversaw the beatings and forced feedings at GITMO.
DeSantis had a typical middle class upbringing in Florida. He attended Yale University in 1997 and taught school for a year after graduation. He returned to Harvard Law graduating in 2005, becoming a commissioned officer in the US Navy in his second year. His service record is incomplete and too heavily redacted. After discharge from active duty in 2010, it is unknown what DeSantis did for employment until he ran for congress in 2012. His support for TPP and other trade agreements benefit the wealthy over the rest.
DeSantis donors are multi-millionaires who have publicly stated that they want to see the Republican party return to supporting Wall Street over Main Street. The only thing Ron DeSantis has that is far more than the rest, is the tens of millions of dollars from elites that want to maintain their status.
