I’m betting he got some major deep state threats on that issue, probably involving his family and everything he worked for all his life. I think he would have pardoned Assange otherwise. I don’t think any president can pardon Assange unless the deep state gets reigned in significantly. Can that happen? Who knows-maybe after this elderly leadership class led by McConnell and Schumer dies off.

The Trump 2024 election team is allegedly adopting a practice that former President Donald Trump formerly criticized. According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump is going to begin leveraging election practices including mail-in voting and ballot harvesting. An email from the Trump team states, “Our path forward is to MASTER the Democrats’ own game of harvesting ballots in every state we can.”
Meanwhile, after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was criticized last year for his election financing programs, he’s at it again for the upcoming 2024 elections. Yet he’s already running into controversy. Several states have turned down money from his nonprofit, and Trump is questioning why Zuckerberg is not being prosecuted for his actions.

If ballot harvesting is legal, why call it a loophole?
What is a loophole in simple terms?
A loophole is an absence or something vague in a rule or law that allows a person to avoid punishment,

thanks to a loophole in the housing rules that said only “no dogs allowed.”
Loopholes often result from poor wording or vague language in a rule or law.
And, why shouldn’t he?
People like Tom Cotton (and the bipartisan DC Foreign Policy class) go from “we must fight forever in Ukraine because we love freedom and hate despotism!” to “check out my great friend the Saudi Tyrant and all the weapons we give him” and few notice the glaring contradiction:

I am in Washington state. My wife and I will go to Oregon and both apply for the $1,000 payments. We can pitch a tent to qualify. We are hoping we will be given debit cards, automatically reloaded once a month with $1,000 each. An interesting side note about Tucker’s interview of Ed Dowd about his new covid book “Cause Unknown.”
They were generally talking about their person health habits when Tucker mentioned that he quit drinking 20 years ago and Ed said he quit drinking 17 years ago.
JMO, the unspoken health truism is “smoking and drinking” shorten your life span and they also have a negative impact on your quality of life.
It won’t be long before that “truism” will be updated to include “taking multiple vacs/boosters.”
