As I’ve detailed here multiple times, there’s a loophole in the US Code for the hiring of aliens that you could drive a tractor trailer rig full of illegals through that is even offset in the code so employers don’t miss it.
It effectively eliminates employers from prosecution if they hire illegals that have documents that “on their face look legitimate” – wink, wink – with no further documents or investigations required on their part or any reporting of a suspect person – like a bar bouncer who lets a 14 year old kid in who has legitimate looking ID saying he’s 21.
A change to that ONE PARAGRAPH would eliminate one of the major draws for illegals – employment. And guess who is the SOLE person identified within that code required to be aware of problems with that code and fix them when found. THE POTUS.

A slightly off topic to this post. I was in my Columbus area Kroger today in the produce section. I was checking the label of where one of my Ohio grown lettuces was from- sad that it’s come to checking where local produce is from now- and an employee (mid 30’s) was stocking shelves next to me. Made a brief comment to her about the train derailment, and she stopped me and said “I don’t really know what happened. Can you please tell me?” I went through the timeline and about the impact it was going to have along the Ohio River basin and just watched her eyes widen with the information. Columbus news has not been very forthcoming on what has happened 2 hours away, in case anyone is wondering. We both commiserated about the residents and how the government has failed them in all aspects. She was very upset that we spend money on the Ukraine but not Ohio residents. So, long story short, the info we gather here, can make an impact in the smallest ways.
