And are people “wrong” for thinking crime is increasing when we watch smash and grab robberies occur daily, in our own locals? When every street is hit with catalytic converter theft? When burglaries and home invasions are weekly occurances? Etc. etc. And what about the number of major retailers who now put so many items behind locked cages? Sometimes PERCEPTION is far more accurate than statistics and graphs.

Those who publish the statistics and graphs … all mathy, sciency and whatnot … usually do so with an agenda. What do they say? Lies, g-damned lies … and statistics. It’s all a matter of what is really being counted, and what’s not.

I really like Tucker, and his coverage and damning remarks on national TV about things we discuss here, and lament that no one is covering. Having said that, I found it interesting to read about a lot of the internal texts and communications among him and other Fox News personalities regarding the 2020 election — the early call for Biden in Arizona, the concern about losing all the Trump viewers with their ratings and stock prices plummeting, and how they supposedly tried to “thread the needle” of keeping viewers even when many of these commentators supposedly felt that the election fraud claims were bunk.

One reason that the US conducted the coup in 2013-14 with US NGO’s and Victoria Nuland was the desire of the US for more access to Ukraine’s resources, but an even bigger reason was that the US had designs to build a US naval and military base in Crimea to challenge Russia in Russia’s only warm water port in the Black Sea.
Crimea moved too quickly to a referendum to join Russia before the US got around to implementing their plans. That is the reason that the US has never accepted the results of that referendum and why they say they don’t mind if Ukraine attacks Crimea. The US still wants that naval base.
If anyone in Russia was on the fence regarding Putin, the threat of taking the Crimea away will put them solidly in his camp. The Ukraine still is occupying land forcefully taken away in 1939 from Poland by the Soviet Union. The Crimea was switched from one Soviet Republic to another, which happened to be the Ukraine, in 1954, as a bureaucratic move, nothing more.
The Ukraine would be like the parents deciding that the stuff burglarized by their criminal son and kept in their basement … is theirs! The Ukraine didn’t even have to resort to military conquests, they just took advantage of Soviet criminality.
What is worse than that threat to take Crimea, was that wack job Nuland stating clearly in definite terms that it is the intention of the US to remove Putin (or anyone like him) from power, and to see to it that “the west controls Russia”. I noted before. All of this is to get judges and the legal system on record as to what is OK going forward. She knows she will lose. But this is to get as many judges and courts in “settled” case law. So, when our side tries it in the future/2024, they can bring up “settled” case law. And maybe even these same judges and courts. Throw their prior rulings back in their face.
That’s an interesting take. Just like the precedent now set where congress can get ANY tax records they like. The Biden family is going to hate that. Could also be a case of corrupt , politicized judges or personal threats towards judges and families. The threat tactics are not beyond the lefts ethical standards. In this case significant voter disenfranchisement has basically been proven as well as election laws being ignored so it is something other than competent judicial logic coming out of the courts.
This is good news, but I’m not sure why I think the decision should be different.

I noted below with Kari Lake. While the brothers are very good in what they are doing, the chances of any success is very very slim. Kari Lake is working the state court angle, they are working the federal court angle. Get the courts to decide “settled” case law for the future for our side. Precedent will have been set. Retired Magistrate here: Well, our esteemed (sarc) Governor DeWine, just came out and said that the air quality is fine and the water is fine in East Palestine, Ohio so it is OK to drink! Never mind that pesky little video that Vance put out showing unknown chemicals coming out of the stream close to East Palestine, Ohio.
Also, our local ABC radio affiliate reported that a representative of the NTSB states that people should quit giving out disinformation on the cause of the railroad accident; that it is upsetting to the people of East Palestine, Ohio. Yes, government is censoring what people are allowed to say about this environmental disaster.
Of course this is the same governor who could not wait to shut down small businesses over covid; the big box stores remained open but the small businesses had to close. DeWine was one of the first to close down a state; a “red” state by the way. He also closed churches for a period of time and many remained closed for over a year. We were “blessed” with Dr. Amy Acton who assured everyone that bodies would be piled high due to covid. Thankfully our legislature took away a lot of power from DeWine over the covid fiasco.
The bottom line is with the government controlling what the numbers can be with regard to safety, the numbers recorded in East Palestine will match what the EPA “safe” numbers are. What a travesty!

From what I’ve seen mentioned in news reports, the town’s municipal water supply is from deep wells, likely a deep aquifer not part of the shallow groundwater and streams
Apparently, the municipal water has been tested and reported safe
People with individual home wells are advised to drink bottled water and not water from their wells
That’s sensible, because some individual wells are shallow and draw water from the shallow hydrologic flow system of which the streams are part
If shallow enough, contamination from the crash and burn may make their way into some household wells

Get into the public record as, “settled law”. Use these cases when needed again and quite very possibly, same courts and judges have to face their own rulings.
