If this is true, its a relieve for many people in this area and down river. But from the comments at twitter, this is a model where the information is fed into it by a user leaving a lot of room for error. I checked the winds for the three days-3rd thru the 6th, on the 6th-a typical blustery winter day- the wind shifted blowing to the east, shifting to south east back to east and then at sunset back to due west. Wouldn’t wish this h3ll on anyone….even Canadians.
To be clear: the contamination is much more of a problem in the eastern tri-state, i.e. the area around East Palestine, western Pennsylvania, and the West Virginia “pan handle.”
We were just in east-central Ohio’s Amish area yesterday and the day before: everything was fine. No unusual clouds, in fact Tuesday had mainly clear blue sky.
The air flow is toward the east, so Pennsylvania should have had air-quality warnings.
We spoke to a good number of the Amish and Mennonnites: nobody was worried about it locally. There was wondering about their brethren in Pennsylvania.

It appears that the New World Order, led by the US Deep State, may be initiating the process of a “color revolution” in Hungary. Our Hungarian correspondent László sends this report.
Last weekend, in a series of attacks that are unprecedented in recent history, weaponized Antifa troops savagely beat up innocent Hungarians all over the capital city of Hungary, at several locations.
The first shocking pieces of news emerged some days ago when a mob of eight German-speaking Antifas severely beat up a seemingly random man in Budapest, Hungary. They apparently travelled here in order to hunt down Hungarians. The victim was probably singled out just because he was wearing (fake) army clothes and some traditional Hungarian garments. He works in the tobacco shop in front of which he was attacked. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital
Right before that attack the Hungarian member of that Antifa shock troop, a woman, asked their future victim whether he intended to take part in an annual event (described below) of Hungarian nationalists. He answered in the negative, saying that he wasn’t planning to do so, but had some friends that were. That may have triggered the bloody and well-trained attack in Gazdagrét (a district of Budapest), and he was severely beaten up with special weapons — an apparently professional toolkit intended to cause very serious injuries but possibly not death.

So it turned out that hundreds of foreign Antifas arrived in Budapest to “demonstrate” and wreak havoc. They occupied the Buda Castle area: watch the video here. You can see mostly foreign Antifa troops gathering and chanting in Budapest, up there at the castle. The red-starred yellow flag of the Marxist Kurdish YPG (People’s Defense Units, an Antifa ally) is clearly visible. Down there in the street below you can see a group of Hungarian nationalists (the ‘Proud Boys’ type) — held back by the police to prevent violent clashes.
What few people knew at the time was that — parallel with the Antifa demonstrations — a literal series of terror attacks was taking place against completely innocent people all over the city of Budapest.
Of course, the attacks may have had the aim to provoke spectacular counterattacks that could have been presented in the international leftist mainstream media, potentially framed in headlines like this: “Viktor Orbán’s Violent Hungarian Nazis are Threatening our Democracy in Europe” — or something like that.

Without getting in to details, ‘some nameless people I know’ are Hungarians living here in SoCal. After experiencing the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, they fled to the West, namely Germany, Italy, others, until finally making it to Canada and the USA.
A very, very, very long story shortened for you is that ‘these unnamed people’ still follow the events in Hungary, cry for their brethren, friends, and relatives, and in these current events cannot help them, just like in the days and years when those they left behind in Hungary came under the Societ Communist Regime. The pain is real.
I have been reading here at the CTH for a few years, sometimes comment, and not seen any Hungarians mentioning themselves. Staying hidden and incognito is foremost, the most important way of living.

He was lucky that there were others that saw his talent because without it he would be living in a tent outside our local Walmart. He was fun to watch in Detroit. I like him ten times better than Bill Lambeerr and Princess Thomas. Joe Dumars, John Sallie, Rodman and Rick Mahorm and Adrain Dauntly were the true worker bees of that team. In some ways he lived the American dream as an individual success with a lot of failures to over come. Joe Dumars is a probably one of the best role models from the bunch. Wish there was more of him.

On February 9, the Washington Examiner launched a series of articles investigating the disinformation tracking industry. It revealed how groups are making lists of websites they claim are spreading “disinformation” and then passing those lists to advertisers. If enough advertisers pull out of a website, it can lose its main revenue source and be forced to close down. It’s an indirect way to silence a media outlet, but it can be an effective one.
One of the leading tracking groups is the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), a UK-based nonprofit. It’s closely linked to two similar US groups, which are largely run by the same people — and those people are left-leaning. GDI’s funders include George Soros’s Open Society organization.
Now we know, in the past, it was also funded by the State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC). Until the start of 2022, the GEC ran a project called Disinfo Cloud, which is now independent, and GDI’s website lists Disinfo Cloud as a funder.
What this means is US taxpayer money was going to a foreign left-wing activist group, which in turn was pressuring businesses to pull their ads from conservative media sites.
Former State Department official Mike Benz says the goal of the disinformation tracking industry is to destroy the credibility of the conservative media, and the US government was paying them to do it.

Following a week where most of the country’s attention was transfixed on a high-altitude balloon deployed by the Chinese government, a top Navy intelligence officer said it is “unsettling” how blind most Americans have become to the threat China poses.
“I’ll be very honest with you. It’s very unsettling to see how much the US is not connecting the dots on our number one challenge,” Rear Adm. Mike Studeman, the director of the Office of Naval Intelligence, told attendees here at the West 2023 conference in San Diego.
“It’s disturbing how ill-informed and naïve the average American is on China. I chalk this up, if I could summarize, into a China blindness. We face a knowledge crisis and a China blindness problem,” he continued.
