According to the latest ABC/WaPo polling [Full pdf Here], 41% of Americans say they are worse off financially under Joe Biden. That is the highest negative response to the question in the 37-year history of ABC polling.
Yet we are supposed to believe voters suffering under the worst financial outlooks in 40-years rewarded Joe Biden just two months ago with support for his Democrat Party and candidates? Something is just not adding up.

I recall being at the gym one year when there was a government
shut down – I cannot tell you how crowded it was with all the
government employees working out. As I was doing my own
workout I overheard a group talking about it as being a paid
vacation because even though they were not working, they
would get back pay for the shut down as soon as they were
back to work.
My estimates from my work experience:
First, figure 20-25% of the population who are lefties who would never admit that they are worse off under this regime, even if lying in a gutter eating an excrement sangwich(American Italian lingo).
Another 20-25% are in professions that will always be lucrative and that includes very generous federal government jobs with built in raises and cost of living adjustments.
You will never see so many exotic, expensive cars as are on the roads in the greater DC area, zipping past endless million dollar homes, many behind gates.

I was in the mall in Fairfax, VA a few years back and there was a Ferrari, a McLaren and a Lamborghini sitting in the public area unlocked and available for patrons to sit in and peruse. That’s when it really hits you that there is way too much money floating in and around the government.

My guess is that some of these are on government support, many work for the government and get paid quite a bit (police, fire and muni workers in IL for example), some have a lot of debt which is growing but they are not concerned about it, others are adjusting to the circumstances and do not believe their need to adjust is Biden’s fault AND there is a huge proportion of people who are well off, no need to work and hate Trump so much that they are willing to see their investments reduce in value and prices go up (albeit temporarily) as long as Trump is not the president. I have many relatives and their friends who are in this group and I suspect it is huge. The only thing that will likely get their attention is if Biden gets a wealth tax passed and they have to forfeit a chunk of their wealth each year whether it goes up or down.
I stabilized my family’s personal finances back in the 1990s. The point being, then it doesn’t matter who is president at any given time. So yeah, I’m no worse off, nor particularly better. Stable income, all risk-averse investments. No stocks. Just CDs, real estate, partnerships in diverse successful businesses and some carefully selected fine art.

Once you understand that “inflation” isn’t about prices going up per se, rather it being simply an addition to the currency supply (prices generally rise due to the fact that the currency is worth less as you add to it,) then it’s easy to see how some would be better off as inflation increases. Those of whom are connected to the Federal Reserve get to use the newly created Federal Reserve Notes before they are circulated into the market. Thus, buying things like land at the “deflated” price before the middle class has to take out loans in order to buy the same land, now worth more. If you notice, since 1913, anything you have to take a loan out for in order to purchase has gone “up” in price. Other items such as televisions have not only gone way down in price but the quality has gone way up – because people generally pay cash on full for TV’s. All of the problems we have today including the cultural issues exist because of the Federal Reserve a d FIAT currency.
Inflation is up. Or prices, however one quantifies it. To cover the cost of people not buying. Or working and paying income tax.
We buy less because it costs more. City, County, State and Feds…have to have stable income.
Taxes on purchases…on the higher price of items purchased be it food or durable goods, are now higher for less quantity purchased, because the taxable price is higher.

Take a look at the full data poll. It would seem that those polled tend to have left leaning political opinions (probably purposefully done). In some of the polls listed, Biden does BETTER than Trump, for example, more people would be ‘angry’ at a Trump re election, rather than Biden. Those polled are also more ‘upset’ at Trump’s handling of classified docs, rather than at Biden’s handling of them. That pretty much tells you who was being polled.
