I generally hit and miss most podcasts, often stumbling across content as an outcome of other people sharing and asking for review, analysis and opinion. You could spend all day listening/watching various podcasts, and quite frankly who has that much time. That said, this discussion has some great content as outlined by David Sacks.
Mr. Sacks is connected to some of the Twitter aspects and has a good perspective on processes being revealed in the Twitter Files. Essentially the internal filtration team is applying keystroke inquiries into the Twitter electronic archives, based on terms given by the journalists. Similar to FOIA but in a public company. The “Deep state” is the unelected, unaccountable Administrative state embedded within (as part of) the federal government. The corporate mainstream (legacy) media today is distinguishable from the government deep state in that the media employees are paid from their private corporation’s bank accounts whereas federal deep state employees are consuming taxpayer dollars via the U.S. Treasury .

This was 2 years after it was found that for 17 years Obama’s official bio stated “born in Kenya.” And it was about a year after Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation stated that the “official” birth certificate that Obama put on the White House website was a “100% forgery.” Trump said that college and other records would show whether or not Obama ever accepted scholarship or other aid as a foreign student, which could mean he doesn’t meet the constitutional requirement to be a natural-born citizen. I was hoping that President Trump would have released some of the records of Barry Soetoro/Barack Obama, but it seems that he did not.
A number of articles on Barry’s sordid history are no longer online. This first article pertains to the mysterious murder of Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr (Lieutenant may have been his name rather than a rank, I am not sure), which pertains to Obama or Soetoro’s passport files. One of the issues is that people wanted to know the name on the passport and country issuing the passport that he used when he went to Pakistan in 1981. Why has no one explained why Biden’s lawyers are the ones going through these documents not the FBI? This really stinks to high heaven.
The FBI does not have security clearance let alone the private attorneys.

Excellent analysis and explanations. The only thing I’d add to this is HOW stuff like deep state can actually function. I understand this having worked in business at lower and mid levels in big organizations. There are “water cooler” social interactions, and especially now, with social media, LinkedIn, and resources like ZOOM, they get together and reason out what is in their own interests. I do not, at this point, think there is a thorough, all controlling power which guides them in all they do (at the tops of outfits like DOD, DOJ, HHS, FBI, CIA there are actually powerful domineering elite folk who are highly influential, and can drive these meetings and efforts, and even those who have left the agencies get in touch regularly and probably strongly influence all these schemes). Instead of operating according to set playbook details, they know what is going on in the public, and in government and they look for anything which will cut their agencies BUDGET, or restrain their activities, and quench their power. They know that they have power, even if it comes from near total inaction given orders against their desires. It is too hard to fire the people withing permanent government staff positions.

Success has always been defined as decision-making where you collect ~85-90% of known facts and successfully infer the remaining 10-15%. That way, you drive innovation and society rewards you. Critical thought was the process of applying intellect and experience to map out that final 10~15% of information needed to make a successful decision.

It is that open-ended accumulation of data, monitoring and message manipulation that Sachs misses, because it has zero to do with law enforcement.
