Do the math. Do you think the overwhelming majority of RINOs want a conservative to supervise them? We don’t have the numbers yet. I believe Gaetz and his posse did the next best thing, and as President Trump would say, used their slim majority and McCarthy’s lust for the gavel as “leverage” to get the best possible deal without letting the Dems eke in Jeffries. It was a game of chicken played out on national TV, and thankfully, it worked.
We’ll see what happens from here. But the fact that this fight was so historic and watched by the whole nation, instead of quietly done behind closed doors, says to me that it will be harder for Kevin to renege without it being in the headlines, and making Kevin look bad.

Jordan should not have given Shannon Bream the chance to spout all the talking points. At the outset he should have asked her if she did not believe loyalty and principle was important to ordinary Americans. If she said yes, he could have asked her why she was doing all she could to undermine decent patriots. If she said no or refused to answer, he could have said it was no point in continuing the interview with someone who was not troubled by those politicians who put self interest first. Their actions would ultimately destroy the country and Sharon Bream was helping them. I think Jordan and his supporters are being too naive in believing the Republican Party can be fixed or reformed. Its track record since 2000 proves it cannot.

I look at a clip like this the same as I would if Jordan had gone on CNN – it’s good to get your message out to the opposition. And make no mistake about it, Shannon does it with a bit more rouge than Hannity, but that sharp, bitter opposition that practically curdles right below the abrasive surface is there in the same way.
