Yesterday Italian officials announced that half the airline passengers arriving from China tested positive for COVID-19. However, in a follow-up today Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said so far all of the testing shows the omicron variant, no new sub-variants of the virus.
The Biden administration CDC announced yesterday that effective January 5, 2023, all passengers traveling to the U.S. from China will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival.
(Bloomberg) — Italy didn’t find any new concerning Covid-19 mutations among recent arrivals from China who tested positive for the virus, a relief for officials worried about fresh health threats.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said Italy already sequenced half of the samples tested in Milan and they all show the omicron strain of the coronavirus. “This is quite reassuring,” she said at a press conference Thursday. “The situation in Italy is under control, and there are no immediate concerns.”
China has scrapped its strict lockdown measures in recent weeks, leading to a surge in infections in the country. While the exact numbers are unclear, the rapid spread has led to concerns around the world about new strains emerging.

It seems odd that with all this time passed, China is still struggling with COVID-19 mitigation and treatment while the rest of the world seems to have moved beyond it. Perhaps this is an outcome of China’s zero covid approach.

But it’s much easier to catch and much less severe. And then it took over from the more severe strains.

The original covid strain was a bit worse than a flu and omicron is a bit less bad than a flu (as per the death rates). Except that covid has a lot more age based impact. Kids are much worse off from the flu and have almost zero impact from covid.
And we knew from very early on, that covid wasn’t that dramatic. Everything was propaganda and lies.
And I saw from many countries, they were counting covid deaths from anyone who died and had a positive covid test result. One weekend there were 5 people in Colorado who were shot dead and they all counted as covid. Where I am, Australia, we had a teenager with bacterial meningitis and he was counted as a covid death. This means that the true numbers are much less.
Having said that – there was also no immunity in society, so it had a much bigger overall impact than something that has been circulating for a long time, such as colds and flu.
So now they are Italy’s problem?
And another thing – (as we know) everyone in China got the jab yet the virus that originated in Wuhan is still ubiquitous and circulating freely.

I’ve forgotten which one arrived to our shores first. I thought it was Omicron.
Delta was a more severe strain, but Omicron was the more contagious one with milder symptoms relative to Delta.
The first was Alpha. The next big one was Delta. Omicron was the most recent, most transmissible, but tended to be less serious in numbers of deaths/hospitalizations.
Covid is still killing people, mainly in the older, highly vaxxed population. But those stats would only be important to the corrupt media if Trump were President still.
Last Christmas I was sleepy for two days. Omicron was going around back then. None of these variants have given me flu symptoms.
The original flu in January 2020 got me pretty bad. But I’ve since been taking weekly HCQ and IVM prophylaxis, along with vitamins and supplements. I don’t even pay attention to it anymore.

1) Last week the media began spreading fearporn about 30M new infections in China, per day.
2) This week the media is reporting on a large increase in travel from China. Concurrently, the Federal government has announced a high-profile testing protocol from China.
3) The Boston public school system is floating a temporary mask mandate when school resumes; I am going to assume other blue city school systems are also doing so.
4) After months of absolutely no disruption in pro sports, the Boston hockey team has postponed two games due to players testing positive.
In January 2020 the initial panic narrative started with a) the first reported cases in China b) which then spread globally due to travel during the Chinese New Year.
The first major disruption to public life in the United States occurred when c) an NBA game was suspended. When the players walked off the court pre-pandemic America was gone. Then central planners came for the supermarkets, restaurants, and d) the schools.
January 2023 is seventy hours away. The media is talking about out of control infections in China and covering Chinese travel.

Honestly, why can’t a sitting president do this? To avoid the Congress getting in his business for enlisting our military to investigate something, could he not ask our military IC to gather evidence against the WEF and Soros to find out if what is reported is true? And if true, send our special forces after them with the FULL weight of the US special forces?

He said, they have a cold or flu bug and do not want to pass it to others. I said not to keep from catch the bug. No he says, Chinese are crazy, they all get sick anyway. He also said, you not see to many fat Chinese, only fat Chinese have to worry about getting sick. This was way back in 2004/5.
