Kari Lake dared to bring a lawsuit against Arizona officials for manipulating the outcome of the 2022 gubernatorial election. Last Saturday, despite affirming the numerous issues in the election, a Maricopa judge ruled Ms. Lake failed to prove malicious intent for the failed electronic voting systems and broken chain of custody issues.
Without an admission of intent, and without evidence to prove to a demonstrable certainty the errors, mistakes and broken election procedures were intended to influence the election outcome, Judge Peter Thompson ruled against the challenge and asked the defense team to provide him with a list of sanctions against the Lake campaign.
Today, the team of Katie Hobbs asked the court for $25,050 in fines against Kari Lake and other penalties and fines the court may deem necessary to punish the plaintiff for challenging a duly certified election result. [Today Court Filing Here]

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson denied Lake’s challenge after the trial in a 10-page ruling Saturday. He said the court did not find clear and convincing evidence of misconduct that would have changed the election results. Thompson also noted that the defendants had stated their intention to seek sanctions against Lake and ordered them to file a motion for sanctions by Monday morning.
Attorneys for Hobbs, who has been Arizona’s secretary of state for four years, joined the county in its filing Monday seeking $25,050 from Lake, which includes attorney fees for Hobbs and the state’s most populous county. The county took aim at Lake’s remarks before the election indicating she would not accept the results unless she won, as well as her “groundless” and “frivolous” lawsuit after the election was certified. I don’t think Trump exposed DC corruption. I think some in DC simply exposed themselves by their own over zealous efforts and in reply it’s simply been well politicized. I say that because of one were paying attention to the long term tit for tat we’ve seen nothing particularly shocking, amazing or baffling out of DC over the past 6 years.
Trump did virtually nothing about those things beyond complained very loudly where it benefited his causes. Setting aside the complaints and knowing the actual score his actions spoke even louder by providing unwavering fiscal and administrative support for the continuation of the leviathan he claimed to be so unjust.

Perhaps indeed they couldn’t prove intent to interfere, but couldn’t they prove the inverse? Clearly the officials did not catch and repair the errors (accidental or intentional), and thus did not conduct a free and fair election as guaranteed by the Constitution.

It would be interesting to try to define a legal theory and set of evidence that could succeed in Lake’s case, short of confessions in open court, given the criteria established by the Judge.
Or, can the Judges “Clear and compelling” criteria for elections suits be impeached on appeal by using other Federal legal election suit precedents that allowed a “Preponderance” standard to prevail?
Judges need to be “retired”.
That is part of the manipulators process, we first saw that in Pennsylvania after the 2020 election where prior to the election that court changed the rules of voting then told the candidates they had to wait until after the election outcome was certified before they could file their lawsuit, and once certified the same court told them they needed to contest it before it was certified.
And now, 2 years later that same court was overturned, and the review of the 2020 election in Pennsylvania will now begin.
Pretty sure the Hobbs crew adopted that same approach as the Pennsylvania crew.
Kari Lake’s lawyer had a perfect shot to get the names of those who changed the ballot size of the printers as it was Hobb’s witness left that door wide open, and her lawyer simply ignored that invitation and moved on to another topic in his questioning, and everyone watching that hearing knew the judge said he needed Kari Lake’s lawyers to give him a name of the person that intentionally made those changes.
If she has the same lawyers on the appeal one can only think the game is already over, move on, pay the fine and pray they don’t take up Sundance’s idea.
When watching the lawyer ignore the opening that witness gave them I immediately thought the lawyers must be on the pay of the RNC, purposely pretending not to see the opening.

Hard Evidence was provided that there were mistakes and system errors that impacted the election. No matter if intent was proven to be present or not, this should have at least resulted in a do over.

Kari Lake was not given sufficient time to develop her evidence of fraud,and had NO opportunity for discovery. She was given a VERY short time and only 6 people to go over the limited number of ballots allowed her team. this case was rigged against her from the very start.
True, the evidence was weak when comes to proving fraud and malicious intent, so nobody goes to jail for fixing the elections.
Yet, even the Judge admitted that her legal team DID present more than enough evidence of “systemic errors” impacting the election. This alone should have been cause to question results as well as require a do over, even if no blame nor crime could be proven.
And hence it would not have mattered if she were given 9 months to prepare. There is no remedy because there is no crime, open season on MAGA. No bag limit. (Figuratively speaking of course. )

How much more evidence does anyone need in order to come to the realization that the Constitutional Republic of the USA is FINISHED. It ended on Jan 20, 2021, when Xiden took the oath of office, and The Regime that is actually controlling the nation came to power. The entire feral government is corrupt. There are very few honest souls in Washington DC … the District of Criminals. That is a point that I do not have to elaborate upon to those of you who have been following along with this website.
Beyond that, what makes the Republic unsalvageable is the extent of the corruption in several States, as well as within the judiciary, both Federal and within the States. It is the States that administer elections. If they are lost, then the whole thing is lost, and we are losing them at an accelerating rate.
A lot of us have come to the realization that this is not a winnable battle, that it’s foolhardy to oppose the Regime with violent force, and, if you even try to organize, you will get first-hand experience as to what its like being held captive in “The American Gulag”. If Arizona cannot beat the fraud machine, then it’s unlikely that it will be uprooted in the several States where it has metastasized to the point that the patient is terminal.
There is only one viable option at this point: States where sanity and integrity still prevail (which are becoming fewer in numbers by the year) should IMMEDIATELY begin the process of gaining (or regaining) their independence, to assert their right to self-determination. The Texas Nationalist Movement is leading that effort in Texas.

Arizona law stipulates only that a challenger must show that the election results are “in doubt.” The challenger does not need to find “intent.” Much less “wrongdoing.” If “doubt” is found, the Court may either name a winner (as it did about 100 years ago), or order a runoff election. What matters under Arizona law is simply “the results, themselves.” Not exactly how they were arrived at nor by whom.
Arizona law says that voters are entitled by law to conclude that the elections were fair and correct, “beyond reasonable doubt.” Nothing more nor less.
Finally, Arizona law also prohibits “punishment” and “intimidation” for someone exercising their legal rights under the law, and this judge’s actions clearly constitute both. He is clearly not “a neutral party,” but is directly colluding with one particular side. He should be removed from the bench by his superiors.
Unfortunately, his superiors are just as corrupt as he is.

it seems to me that if there’s the slightest indication of election fraud or malfeasance, any decent judge should order a halt and a complete forensic audit. including Full inspection of all election office communications. inspection of the voting machine logs.

The point I would make to any smirking democrats is that
1. The Maricopa County example shows how democrats cheat in elections, and may convince some of the undecided that Trump was cheated in 2020.
2. Once you conduct a patently illegal election and the courts ratify fraudulent results, people decide a. the government is illegitimate and b. ballots don’t work so why not bullets. This is how you get a hot civil war.
Ask you democrat friends if a republican governor in Maryland arranged for irregular ballots to be printed in Baltimore and black citizens who showed up to vote had their ballots rejected, would they feel sympathy for those disenfranchised voters if they engaged in fiery but mostly peaceful protests?
Pay the fine in monopoly money and when objections occur say there is no malicious intent that you weren’t paying.
