Did you know the last regular order congressional budget was passed in September of 2007 for fiscal year 2008. That’s it. Every single year from 2008 to now has been a series of baseline budgeting, continuous resolutions and omnibus spending bills.
Yeah I wouldn’t blame “Dems” for this. The constant pretending that there is some distinction in party is a game of pretend I can’t play.
I would suggest the flattering still of McConnell and the fact that Roy accuses Senate Republicans of “greasing the skids” for this fiscal farce are evidence there is no pretending in this instance.
I would like to see GOP public insurretion agains t GOP leaders like Mcconnell, Cornyn, Thune, Tillis. And so far not one single action “our team” has taken has benefited those who put them there.
