Sounds ridiculous to me and the jury is still out on Musk. Musk didn’t spend 44 billion to appease the deep state.

Well, if several billion were OPM/subsidies, with guarantees of getting a certain amount of business in his other endeavors, he likely would see the benefit of spending that amount.

What I disagree with Sundance on is the level of Musk’s awareness of what he bought. Musk has been privy to some of the highest government secrets in aerospace for over a decade. I assure you, he understands the thread he was chosen to weave between window dressing Twitter and letting the public see the puppet strings. In my opinion, the whole thing was planned. While he may not have known the extent of cleanup needed on aisle Twitter, he has always known what role he is to play at Twitter.
Now, I am going out on a limb. Bannon is a former Naval officer that also has been privy to government naval secrets for decades. Darren Beattie and Jack Posobeic were tweeting actively with Elon Musk shortly before Musk put in his first bid for Twitter. Posobeic had a military career with high clearances, I just forgot which service he was connected to. In retrospect, I think the twitter dialog between Darren, Jack and Elon was a ploy to make Elon’s acquisition of Twitter look like a whim. Bannon publicized it from that perspective. I sincerely doubt that Elon purchases anything for that kind of money without considerable thought. He just does not impress me as that kind of impulsive.

Starlink was always a military project. NASA seeded SpaceX with 5 billion as it did Blue origin and another whose name escapes me. The military has always wanted a smaller payload for a more cost effective distribution of satellite technology. The up to 9 massive boosters on SpaceX expend excessive amounts of fuel on every launch. The currently deployed military satellites are enormous and quite heavy compared to civilian ones. Starlink is a mini version of the civilian ones with possibly greater capacity. They are deployed at a lower altitude which allows them to escape most of the space junk. These innovations are decades in the making.

Contrary standpoint: it is not illegal to amplify or subdue messages. This will be very hard to prove to, just because someone pulled a lever at the 10th floor did that directly cause X to be censored. Given the mesh of algorithms and computer fuzzyness … I would say its HARD if not IMPOSSIBLE to prove.
Plus even if you came close to it they will point you to the User Agreement that you agreed to.
Blame the expectation not the implementation.

Want to be heard? Shout more often and harder. Or just be that annoying mosquito one can’t get rid of. To Sundance point made a small mosquito can already do a lot on the scale of things.
Just communicating through Twitter, and then get offended that it does not carry and then spend ageless time on discussion on THAT and on lawsuits. For not being very entertaining it is also a waste of time.

I’ve always thought “social media” is, at the very least, monitored by the government. Over the years, I’ve heard it repeated that yes, the various intel agencies have algorithms that monitor comments on social media sites. Anything with words and phrases of interest are flagged for human review, and the human reviewer then decides if that person merits closer observation or intervention. It’s been this way since the 2000’s.
The problem is in how hyperbolic people can be when they’re worked-up over something. Who hasn’t gotten mad at a person and said something like, “I just wanna wring his neck” or “slap the hell out of her” or whatever? And we say similar stuff about public figures when they behave poorly. But now, with the government’s lackeys always watching, always looking for a reason to put their boot on your neck, you have to watch what you say online. No more venting. No more pointing out when some lying weasel deserves a smack against the head. Big Brother will drag you away and haul you through a “court system” designed to drain all your assets over the course of years and leave you destitute.
So, in short, screw social media. Even here, I know I have to watch my speech. My name might be fake, but my IP address is real and easily viewable to enough people. But Facebook, Twitter, et al? No! To hell with that stuff!
Previously they had to influence you through tv, radio, newspaper and magazines. Now they have you in the palm of their hand, which just so happens to be carried in the palm of your hand. Yikes!

I endeavored to reign in my sister, who had become a bit enthusiastic posting on her twitter account, she had a few ‘followers’ and got a kick out of communing with other ump-Tray supporters and riling each other up
She went to D.C. Oct 2020 for one of the conservative rallies and understandably fell in with some oud-Pray-oys-Bay who were protective when some counter-protesting Anteefers were disruptive and hindering access to her hotel. There was pushing and shoving in the streets.
Once back home she got an odd text on her smartphone from someone in a gummint sub-agency under DHS
Couldn’t quite figure out the purpose of the contact, and the gummint official never followed up
I speculated that it might have been just a “tag, you’re it” to verify she’s at the other end of her smartphone number they captured in D.C. that day with their phone tracking and capture sweeping
Told her she was probably now in FBI and DHS databases, and that if any gummint types knocked on her door, don’t say a word to them beyond “lawyer”
And go easy on her online enthusiasm for anything oud-Pray-oys-Bay
Fortunately, she didn’t go again and wasn’t there for the Jan 6 festivities only 3 months later

Conservatives elected Trump, who started to roll back the gains liberals made. Trump was correct to give Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom. But the Leadership of the Country and even the New World Order could no longer stand anyone “calling ‘bullshit’ on their ideas, making fun of them and rolling their agendas back.
Throughout American History, movements that threatened what the Leadership (Bankers) wanted/considered normal were quashed by the Leadership (up to the use of Military Force against citizens).
Think about Manifest Destiny, the Sudden plan to expand America all the way to the Pacific Ocean after the Louisiana Purchase.
Think about the wars on the American Indians and moving them onto reservations and the Trail of Tears moving most of the ones who survived to Oklahoma Territory.
Think about The Secession of the Southern States and the war and propaganda to prevent it from happening. The Leadership then focused on Emancipation and Blamed Slavery as the cause.

Twitter/Jack’s magic coffee shop is a great microcosm of the entire scene in DC.
There’s a front of the shop and a back of the shop.
The front of Jack’s shop is marketed as a place set up for the betterment of the community, a place to communicate and share ideas. It’s the modern version of the town square. Similarly, in the front office in DC, they give the “appearance” that they are there to serve We the People.
The back of Jack’s shop is where the actual true operations take place. It’s a place where the citizens are tracked and traced and ideas are manipulated, steered and controlled. Similarly, in the back office in DC, they actually serve their paymasters and their function is to track and trace We the People and manipulate, steer and control the ideas of We the People all while giving the “appearance” that they are serving us.
Just a hunch here, but I’m guessing both have the same paymasters. I’m also guessing those paymasters are global, and not just limited to national.

As I’ve watched the rollout of “revelations” from the Twitterfiles, I’ve noticed that everything coming out is feeding red meat to the masses, and mostly just confirms what those of us able to Connect the Dots (formerly known as Conspiracy Theorists) had already figured out. Further, it has generated a fair amount of “outrage” from the left, which creates a distraction cycle for the masses. Couple that with a few well timed cryptic tweets from Musk, and you now have a new entertainment venue that keep the masses occupied, while the new apparatus is firmly put into place. Weiss and Taibbi being the “perfect” journalists – left, but not TOO far left – to release this information. They come into it with at least a soft trust in government who will rely on “trusted” Deep Staters (like Barr) to help them sort through the mountains of data. Problem is, these Deep Staters are de-emphasizing the real meat and most troubling (even to the uninformed, non thinking public) aspects of what Twitter/Facebook/Google really are.
I am not convinced Musk is totally aware. What I look at, though, is that Musk has extensive ties to both the CCP, and the U.S. IC and MIC that make him suspect. What I do know, as well, is that Musk is a good marketer who has done a good job of not only keeping most “outraged” progressives to “hate use” his “new” Twitter, but has lured a good number of conservatives back to use the site. Unless Musk is truly serious about unveiling everything about Twitter – and, I remain unconvinced that he is – the IC is now going to be able to gather even more info on the populist/conservative movement.
My only counter thought here is that Taibbi was willing to actually expose Russia-gate. I think Musk is trying to choose journalists that both sides will listen too. I watched Con Inc. defend Bari Weiss.

I’ve been saying this almost from day one of the Musk take over of Twitter. In my opinion, even the negotiating stage was a ruse to make people believe the fairy tale that Musk could and would turn Twitter into a haven of free speech.

Elon Musk was genuinely mad when Twitter banned the Babylon Bee. Elon has more money than anybody else in the world, so he decided to make an offer to buy Twitter. I know it sounds ridiculous, but we don’t have that kind of money, and Elon’s kind of a kook. Who knows how people like that think?
Once Elon made the offer, did the DHS really have any choice about whether he bought it? If they didn’t want to be found out?
There are laws that govern such things that are very public knowledge. Investors are aware of the offer to purchase, and if it is in their best interest, the law says the company sells. Investors could sue, which leads to discovery.
DHS could theoretically throw up road blocks, but the more they do, the more they are exposed. Remember there were obstacles placed in the way, but eventually Elon prevailed.
I don’t know if this theory is true or not. I just know that the Deep State had/has many actors (James Baker, et. al.) embedded like ticks into Twitter. I doubt they’ve all been fired, or ever will be, if their cover is really good.
I’m willing to wait it out on Musk. I have jumped to conclusions far too many times in the last few years, I thought Bill Barr might do ok, and I liked Jeff Sessions, too. I got burned because I didn’t hide and watch what happened.

This year, a whole city called Finoland has grown up at the Finopolis forum with its bank, supermarket, metro, museum, hospital and business center. Dmitry, a young IT specialist, agreed to take a walk with us around Finoland and test many banking services.
1. Digital Ruble
Forum visitors were the first to test the digital ruble in action. Everyone could open a digital demo wallet in the mobile application of the “almost real” Finoland Bank and carry out various operations: convert rubles from a non-cash account, transfer to other participants, replenish the wallet and, of course, pay for purchases.
It turned out to be easy to earn in Finoland: rubles were accrued for completing simple competitive tasks, passing mini-quizzes, or even just like that, as a greeting (more on this below).

The stand of the Moscow Credit Bank is particularly worth mentioning. At the counter with the telling name “About a person”, the age and mood of the visitor were determined by biometric data. Dmitry was “considered” almost perfect – they added only one year.
6. FinTaxi. PSB
What kind of city is there without a taxi? So Finoland has a virtual “taxi of the future”. Dima, of course, tried himself as a racing taxi driver and earned the coveted digital rubles.
