Every now and then one site or another will likewise tell me that I have been “banned.” But it’s always working again by the next day. There’s actually quite a lot of complicated software involved in any forum, and every now and then it “hiccups.”

Ballot Harvesting
Many states, probably most states, have laws pertaining to soliciting or influencing voters at polling locations. Politicians and their supporters can’t get within certain distances of polling locations during elections to hand out brochures, install signs or do things to influence a voter.
If you go out to collect a ballot are you restricted from influencing the voter. So if you go to their home to collect a ballot and the voter has not yet completed their ballot can they not influence the voter. It’s almost like the ballot collector must be restricted similar to polling place restrictions.
I know it’s not a realistic question since, IMO, ballot harvesting should not be allowed for many reasons.
It’s apparent that ballot harvesting is and can be corrupted in so many ways. It’s a race to see how many ballots can be put into the election system not how many citizens actually vote on candidates or other issues.
If you go to collect a ballot you can also see how they voted. The purpose of the voting booth was so that the vote buyer would not actually be able to tell whether the person they paid voted for their guy or not.
Ballots lying around in public are subject to review by who knows how many people?
Elections are suppoe to be held by secret ballot in America.

I only say this on the basis that you cannot avoid another vaccination – l was training for my 3rd Ironman ( long distance triathlon ) and in order to get into the USA, I had to have an approved vax, l waited for Novavax and went to France to get it ( Novavax is approved by the UK regulatory bodies but no vials are actually in the UK – its all the other crap that is still available.)
I train by heart rate, so l monitored my hear rate constantly. I had no reactions to Novavax, and l trained extensively in the week of both injections. As a precaution, l added a tablet of aspirin to my hydration bottle each day, l did this for about the last 10 weeks of training when l am up to 13 – 15 hours a week. I am now in the winter end of season rest stage and so have stopped the aspirin.
I can only conclude that Novavax is the probably the least dangerous of the Covid vaccinations but like everything when you are training hard,, you need to keep an eye on your vital heath systems etc.

I feel for you and your family. It is horrific that these tyrannical policies continue; we know there is no way that these College Officials do not at this point know that these vaccines are, at best, not effective at preventing Covid and at worst, potentially very unsafe!

As someone who does not have children in college, I myself am still confronting these ridiculous and tyrannical policies during the course of my job search.
There is one job in particular that I am very interested in, as not only am I a very good fit for the qualifications they are seeking, but it is very close to home – and I’ve pretty much have always had a commute of at least a half to an hour each way.
To my dismay, tucked within the bottom of the job description is this : “We request that all employees be vaccinated against Covid-19.”
I’ve considered submitting (just because), along with my resume and references, a cover letter to include:
Your vaccine policies for employees as stated at the end of the job description are working against you by narrowing your field of good candidates. Due to my experience and expertise in the qualifications you are seeking, I can attest that I would certainly be an asset to your organization. By your decision to not only ignore Real Science but to also choose to exert control over the freedoms of your employees to make medical decisions for themselves, you demonstrate both ignorance and arrogance and have excluded yourselves from possibly hiring the best candidate for the position.

NATO is increasing the delivery of air defense systems to Ukraine. Presumably, there will eventually be enough to significantly reduce the number of Russian missiles that hit targets. Russia’s window of opportunity for effective missile attacks will mostly close in a few more months.
What can a near term missile attack strategy achieve for Russia, and what is the cost?
TYPES OF MISSILES USED
The precision Kaliber and KH type cruise missiles, mostly air launched, are doing the most damage to Ukraine’s electric power. Russia will eventually run out, holding back some as a reserve. There are efforts to increase production, but not nearly enough to replace current usage rates.
Air defense missiles, S-300, S-400, are now used to strike ground targets, but with less precision. AD missiles make up for the lack of enough precision missiles.
Suicide drones are bothersome, but a minor, more easily destroyed, threat.
Russia may get some Iranian long range ballistic missiles, accuracy and reliability unknown.
RUSSIA’S GOALS
Degrading Ukraine’s electric grid accomplishes:
* Demoralizing Ukrainians freezing in a cold winter.
* Reducing Ukrainian production of military supplies.
* Hampering the usability of Ukrainian rail lines that use electric trains, which reduces the flow of military supplies, soldiers, and equipment.
This is a similar, but much broader scale, Russian version of Ukraine using NATO tube and rocket artillery to interdict Russia’s military supplies and transportation, which forced Russia’s evacuation from Kherson
LIKELY IMPACTS
Russia will probably slow down the development and progress of the expected Ukrainian counter attacks once the ground freezes enough for non-tracked vehicle movement. This will last as long as Russia has enough missiles, which may be only a few more weeks at current usage rates. How long it takes Ukraine to restore a sufficient electric supply is unknown, but it will take some weeks, at least.
The spring muddy season begins sometime in March. If the Russian missile attacks hamper Ukraine’s efforts until then, Russia has bought months of time to try and get the disparate parts of their military into shape for a Ukrainian spring offensive.

Good point. My humble guess is at the end of the day there will be no variance between the two on that issue. The Smith affair, much like the last brouhahas, is more about intimidation, creating a narrative, and selected leaks.

It’s confusing because integrity, judicial ethics and the concept of equal protection / equal justice have been all but obliterated because the communist “Long March” through the institution which was our legal system is nearly complete.
Of course, but how is Dearie being an unbiased 3rd party passing judgement on documents he already rubber-stamped 6-7 years ago, and now being considered buy another uninterested special counsel who I assume is bound to do the right thing by the court.
How is this reconciled legally and we havent even talked Hunter Biden yet
