Many people have been following the story of the four Idaho University college students who were murdered last weekend. In part of a video released by police a person of material interest was noted, and police asked for help with identifying him.
The person has now been identified and is reportedly cooperating with police.
(Via Dail Mail) – The man who was filmed with two of the four murdered Idaho students in their last hours has been ‘identified’ and is ‘cooperating with police,’ according to one of the victims’ sisters.
The young man’s name has not yet been made public but he was he was filmed walking up to a food truck with Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves on Sunday at 1.45am – less than two hours before they were murdered in their home.
He was filmed standing near the girls but not speaking to them as they waited for their food from the truck. Once they were handed their order, the girls – who staff said appeared to be slightly intoxicated – walked off together, leaving him behind.
On Thursday night, Kaylee’s sister told Chris Cuomo on his NewsNation show that the boy had been identified. ‘I think a lot of people were curious about that person. We were able to identify him.

That video with the guy following them has been out locally for a few days now. The wind kind of came out of that “suspect” when it was learned they took an Uber from the food truck to their house
Even easier to find the Uber. They would have on their cell phone and Uber has all the info about the trip too.
There have been some VERY sketchy Uber drivers who have taken advantage of their intoxicated passengers. Has the Uber driver been cleared? No … I don’t want to say that the sketchiest of Uber drivers who assaulted women have been Middle Eastern men … but if the statistics bear that out … ? Oh that’s right … our law enforcement agencies don’t identify the race of criminals any more … because that would be “racist”. No, it’s “informational”.

But it wasn’t learned that Kaylee & Maddie took an Uber home. It was only claimed by Kaylee’s sister when she went on Chris Cuomo’s show.
LE has come out to dispute this. They claim it was NOT Uber, but a private ride. (There is evidence to suggest that the other two victims may have left the house to come over to pick the girls up from the food truck, and return home.)

The FBI was already called in just after this happened. Why, I don’t know. Seems to be a local law enforcement issue.
Once the time of death has been established, the next step is identifying any cell phone that was in proximity of the residence at the time of the murders.

It was reported yesterday that one of the girls had texted an ex boyfriend many times that night..another girl had defensive wounds so she fought back..also reported was that the two roommates that slept through the attack, one actually got up for work and left at 11am, have not been ruled out as suspects. Who made the 911 call reporting a passed out individual outside the house? Very odd.

Somewhere in the UK DM it mentioned calls were made to someone named Jack. What struck me odd is the timeline of getting home, eating food, calling Jack and then going to bed enough to be out cold if the murders happened between 2-4. I still don’t know who Jack is.

The two girls that are seen pictured together called “Jack” at least 6 times between getting home and murdered. Each girl called him. One of the girls dated Jack for six years according to the sister of the deceased and the sister insists Jack had nothing to do with it. Can’t recall which site I read that on.

Stabbing someone often causes the knife to get very wet with blood which causes the stabbers hand to slide down across the blade very easily resulting in wounds on the killer’s hand. Unless the killer wore leather gloves, perhaps? The killer must have slit their throats first to keep them from screaming and yelling. I just cannot comprehend how the murderer got to 4 people in one house without a sound.
It is all so sad. I hope that the murderer does not disappear and faces the death penalty. There is no use for someone like that breathing. Send him/them/her back to God and let Him handle their punishment.

It’s not anything new. It has been happening at least as long as the media has been more interested in getting a scoop than in getting to the truth. All they seem to want any more is to be the first to report, the truth bedamned… Whatever turns out to be false, they can and will blame it on the police.
That being said, there does seem to be a tendency of late on the part of federal LEO type agencies to deliberately mislead; which often results in confusion, backtracking and loss of credibility for those agencies.
Ive read other reports that hes not the guy. People were also saying that many people knew the code key to access the home. This case will either be solved quickly, or many years down the road.

You know Ted, I think there are many parents who send their young adults off to college. They expect their children to be safe. When 4 college students are brutally murdered and there are copious amounts of blood inside and outside of their rental house it is a cause for alarm.
The police say they have no suspects. The killer or killers must have blood on their clothing and shoes. There must be a blood trail. The perp must have exited the house. Where are the bloody clothes or shoes?
The coroner says the four young adults died of knife wounds. What kind of knife was used , were there stab wounds, slash wounds, etc. what part of the body was assaulted? Where is the murder weapon?
The FBI is involved. Are they trustworthy? Have they got a database of similar killings, not necessarily at a college? Are the FBI there to help or engage in one of their many coverups?
Because Trump announced, because it is the holidays, because blood was oozing from the concrete and that is not your everyday murder scene? What is interesting the Idaho story is getting far more coverage than half of UVA’s offensive line being murdered by a Black guy w/a gun. My guess that is the real reason.

Your statement is incorrect in many regards, especially media coverage. The killer was apprehended the next day after he committed the murders. Of the three UVA players who were murdered; two were wide receivers and one played line backer.

On the Facebook Page of the City of Moscow Police Department it states that there will be a press conference tomorrow afternoon at three. It also says the next press statement after that will be Wednesday.
I have personal reasons for despising Chris Cuomo and I KNOW that he manipulates details and omits relevant facts to tell the story that HE wants to tell so I wouldn’t put too much credence into anything that was brought up on his show, TBH…
That said, this is a very strange story and many people are asking a lot of questions that no one seems to want to answer. I am very curious as to why the FBI jumped into the situation so quickly – were they asked to do so by the local police department and is that a normal request? It definitely seems like there is more to the story than what has been released so far and I wonder when/if we will find out about what really happened!

I went to OSU and yes food trucks were common that late at night parked outside the bars..The neighbors reported that the house was a gathering place for students but it was relatively quiet compared to the other student rented houses in the area..friends reported that the house was a welcome, friendly place. What I’m looking at is the layout of the house..the girls that lived through it were on the 3rd floor of the house..the house looks to be a 2 story home with a walk out basement?? The blood streaks were coming from the “ground floor” and running down the concrete blocks?? I’m not getting it..has anyone seen a layout of the house or a different view?
A food truck at 1:45 AM in a college town is a very normal thing these days – probably does very well actually! Moscow is just across the Idaho state line and the drinking age is 19, compared to 21 in Washington state, where Pullman, home to major party school Washington State Un is located. So Moscow is well known for its club/bar scene!
The manner in which they were killed is the main thing that seems really disturbing to me…slashing the throats of four passed out college students is so incredibly brutal and disturbing! There was either extreme hatred for them, which should be a solid clue to investigators, or this was done by someone from a culture where that is a more common method of murder, such as an Islamic country or a Mexican cartel hit, which may explain the presence of the Feds.

I noted to my spouse that indeed all these kids look ‘Stoned’. Fun night out, late night food truck, night cappers all around and one by one they pass out – where ever – Couch, bed – together/alone – Killer is cold and personal – someone sought revenge and 2 or 3 innocents were collateral damage. They need to find this killer soon

I watched the lurker video about ten times before I got a sense of what was going on.
What I noticed is that at the very start of the video when the victims enter the picture the “lurker” was walking with the girls in fact he was right on the heels of the first girl which suggests to me that he was a friend. Had he been a stranger would he be walking that close to the victims?
He breaks off from the two victims as they approach the food truck and observes them from behind. As they get their food purchases and leave to the left of the screen he then follows them.
If this “lurker” was a complete stranger unknown to the girls than he is most likely the killer. I think a more likely explanation is he was friends with one or both of the girls and was just accompanying them on their trip to the food truck. Either way we should know soon what his relationship – if any – is to the victims.
This is indeed a very strange murder case!

Numerous reports have stated the calls came from the sleeping roommates that got home at 1:00 am, so now they have changed that story? I read a few articles this morning and that wasn’t stated, and none stated Jack was a former ex. At this point I may as well quite following the story and wait until they come up w/the final lie of what happened.

Jack was identified yesterday on another site. Ex of one of the girls. Family in total support of him. Doubtful suspect.
Wouldn’t there be bloody shoe prints in the house to identify what brand and style of shoes were worn by the killer? Why don’t we know what shoes they were wearing? Are shoes racist?
Maybe they wore crime scene booties? Was there more than one murderer?
At this point w/the Feebs involved, I think I would call a few psychics and see what they have to say. Just too many odd details as well as lack of detail w/this story.

I’m sorry but that interview was odd. While I can appreciate the sister’s drive in looking to solve the case… she showed zero emotion. No holding back of tears, no signs of anger– overly diplomatic. Idk, but it just seemed very detached/off to me.
A neighbors dog had recently been skinned and their cat is missing? Makes my blood boil. Good chance the person that did that was practicing to gear up for something more sinister. Anyone that can skin a dog is psycho and needs to be found whether connected to the murders or not.

It has now been stated that the girls did not take an UBer. They were given that short ride to their home by a “private party”.
Now it’s emerging that the two girls or one of them called a person named “Jack” several times shortly before the murders. Drug connection? Cell tower ping review for that number maybe?
Calling “Jack” that many times in the early morning hours suggest to me a drug (pot or other type) connection. It was said he never answered, that to me is a tell.
I have read a couple different sites Jack was ex of one of girls. Apparently they were planning to renew relationship. Parents very supportive of him. Hey, I’m old now. Used to party hard. It wasn’t that unusual to get “happy fingers” when intoxicated and dial away!
This is a terrible tragedy, and this weaponized administration won’t let it go to waste. This story is getting wall to wall coverage for the same reasons Gabby Petito’s murder did: distraction. Watch the other hand!

My mother died when I was 9…hit and killed by a car. A month later, my kittycorner neighbor’s teen daughter hit by car exact same location. It was a place where school bus drop offs happened.
My father, an Army MP who conducted investigations…sued the city. The road was repaved, the cases covered up, and my father was threatened with losing custody of me… if it was pursued further by the judge.
I for one am thankful the tragedy wasn’t on “social media”. I who was permanently altered by it… wouldn’t want my mother’s body… and blood splattered… plastered over the screen for bystanders to theorize and obsess over. Her boot was knocked off her body and landed 100 ft away from her.
I cringe at the videos of the deadly departed being sent to their deaths. The blood leeching from the building is God-given life blood escaping. Somewhere there’s someone who loves him or her… or a child missing her Mom.

I do not believe this ‘boy’ had anything to do with the murders. I do not believe the Uber driver had anything to do with it, either. Those would be more of ‘crimes of opportunity’, i.e. attack the victim at the first convenient moment. Not go with them to the house where who knows how many more people may be present, and only then commit the crime. This feels like something much more sinister. Not to cast unjustified aspersions, but the whole story with the roommates not hearing anything, and yet being left alive in the same house after the other 4 murders have already been committed, makes ZERO sense.
Seems very easy for a perp(s) to be lying in wait.
It is Kaylee’s sister who went on Cuomo’s show to claim that the two girls took an Uber from the food truck back to the house. However, LE claims that she is incorrect.
LE says that the two girls got a ride home from a private entity – not an Uber. It’s possible that the other two victims (male & female who had returned home from the frat party) came to pick them up. A witness described the car as blue, and one of those victims had a blue car as can be seen in front of the house in the early crime scene footage.
I think it’s most likely two people that did this. To take out 4 people with just a knife? I’d be surprised if it’s just one guy. This seems like a loose end. I hope the cops don’t get tunnel vision and keep a wide dragnet open.
Moscow PD will be holding a press conference at 3pm PST today (Sunday). That’s 6pm Eastern.
Problem with this case is all the conflicting info put out, both by LE and nat’l media. Even Kaylee’s sister inserting herself to put out her version of facts is weird. There are two local news stations covering this VERY well, but there is dismay over the officials going to nat’l media first and shutting them out – and nat’l media is getting a lot of things very wrong.
Everyone mentioned so far has already been identified. Their names and relationships were already out there. This isn’t a populous area, and most of these people were intertwined publicly on social media. There is much info from students which is now being disappeared from the interwebs, or replaced with misleading stories.
Between the University officials (financial interest), the local police (woefully inexperienced), and now FIB (need I say more)…all the general public can do is read between the lies.
This whole case has been so badly handled from the start, that the public has every right to be fearful. I hope today’s press conference will clear up at least some of the confusion, and restore a bit of faith in “the system.”
