The people who distributed, assembled, collected and then submitted all the Democrat ballots in Pennsylvania filled in the bubble for a dead guy. Democrat Anthony “Tony” DeLuca died October 9th but was reelected to his state House seat on November 8th. Go figure.
PENNSYLVANIA – A Pennsylvania state representative who died last month was reelected during the midterm elections, reports say.
Democrat Anthony “Tony” DeLuca died Oct. 9 “after a brief battle with lymphoma, a disease he twice previously beat. He was 85,” the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus wrote. DeLuca was Pennsylvania’s longest-serving state rep, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously. A special election will follow soon,” Pennsylvania House Democrats said in a tweet. (more)
If his name was still on previoulsy printed ballots, it’s easy to see how unknowledgeable voters who simply vote a straight ticket would fill in the bubble for a Dead Dem. One of the hazzards of ballots that are printed and voted prior to election day.
This proves a democrat will vote for anyone with a D next to the name
We (Hawaii) elected a dead woman to Congress a few years ago (Patsy Mink-D HI2). The scandal was that Hawaii law had a limiting date in which parties had to name a replacement if a candidate became unavailable. A couple days prior, papers reported that Rep Mink was in the hospital but it was “routine”. Three days after the limiting date we found out she was dead. Of course the paper had no interest in finding out what really happened. Since then the seat has been sort of revolving door, with Tulsi Gabbard in it for a while, but pretty much always 66%D 33%R. Now they elected another new face Jill Tokuda after the incumbent decided it was too hard having to spend most of his time in DC (thanks to Pelosi he mostly voted by proxy).
The point was political maneuvering by the Dems who preferred a special election to fill the vacancy rather than getting a last minute candidate which would have involved a lot of infighting between the (Sen Dan) Inouye wing of the party and the anti-Inouye wing.
The red wave occurred only in the states that brought sanity back to their state’s election process. Everyone is pushing DeSantis for 2024, but the reason DeSantis, Rubio and many congressional contestants won so big in FL, is because DeSantis, as governor had the power to make voting constitutional again in his state, while Trump, as president and now as king maker, never had that power. We the people must demand legitimate voting in our states. These drop boxes, universal mail in, and counting ballots for several days has got to stop. The world is watching and they know that our elections are rigged. No, the people of PA did not elect a dead man, nor a governor who only prosecutes nuns while allowing violent criminals to terrorize his state. The PA elections are rigged today, just like they were in 2020. It is time for this fraud to end.
Well hell ya, they re-elected the longest serving representative in the state at the age of 85. They could simply run him again in two more years and still get a win I bet and the next two years. Many of the folks that vote for good old Tony may have preceded him in passing through the veil. When enough pass, perhaps people will move on and find another Tony.
