As anticipated, Blue Check Twitter is big mad today….
(Politico) – Elon Musk began firing hundreds of Twitter employees on Friday, four days before the midterm elections, including members of the teams that work on U.S. elections and content moderation on the high-profile social-media platform.
Tweets flooded the platform on Friday, many using the hashtags #LoveWhereYouWork and #OneTeam, as employees let others know that they had been let go. Many of those posting had previously worked in roles including public policy, trust and safety, communications, engineering, marketing and human resources.
Half of Twitter’s public policy team was cut, including members of a team handling verification of politicians’ accounts, according to a person close to the company who requested anonymity. That work will now be folded into a team rolling out a subscription service that is expected to launch on Nov. 7.
[…] Friday’s layoffs, however, appear to be adding fuel to the anxieties of both users and advertisers that Twitter is gutting its ability to keep tabs on who and what shows up on its platform. And the across-the-board cuts come just as the company’s moderation systems are expected to be tested during the midterms.
In a press call, a coalition of civil rights and activists groups called #StopToxicTwitter called for a global pause on advertising in the light of the mass layoffs on Friday. […] “With today’s mass layoffs, it’s clear that Musk’s actions betray his words,” Jessica González, co-CEO of the media advocacy group Free Press, said on the call. (read more)
WOW!
Musk continues to baffle me. This reply to Tom Fitton would tend to make me believe that Musk is a white hat, if I didn’t know his history.
I still do not trust Musk. Words are words. I want to see some action.
Sorry if I botch this quote, but … “by their fruits, you shall know them”.
Have you heard about the animals who are wired up at Nuralink ?
I don’t believe Elon is a friend to anything other then money.
How does a failing car company make him one of the richest people in the world ?
How much money has he accumulated from the U.S. taxpayer thru his littering of space with satellites and starlink that is mainly used by military ?
This is how googoo made their fortune and look at them now.
Elon is not your friend
Also keep an eye on how he and his collaborators intend to use the starlink system. He is very much into the artificial intelligence new world order. He has said a few things that we like but do not trust him.
Artificial Intelligence can defeat artificial intelligence. I work in this field as a tech lead for a company whose goal is to break the big tech stranglehold on it and give toolsets that web designers and kids can play with to develop their own focused AI brains to toy with. The internet nerds at large will defeat any attempt to manifest a command and control general AI. In the meantime if you want to confuse AI just use sardonic or sarcastic humor. It has no way of determining such. There is no algorithm that can capture that or sets of if, else if conditionals or Fast Fourier Transform analysis. It is a spiritual thing. An AI is just a fancy self checking abacus of on-off switches that a human must determine how to parse and present the final numbers of to have our sensory apparatus make sense of it.
AI all depends on the rules it starts out with.
They are input by humans.
A fast checking abacus… awesome!!! fast computers with huge fast storage are just that.
Catturd then is a conqueror.
Exactly!
Delgado was wiring up animals to comply..make a bull passive, a monkey riled up, used humans for his experiments also decades ago for the CIA. Musk’s research was towards allowing spinal injured and otherwise not brain dead but unable to move to have comprehensive brain to computer interfacing for driving robotic limbs, a computer mouse and keyboard, manipulating medical devices like feeding tube delivery rate . Everything is not the boogie man and everybody is not all out to get you. This technology is not capable of putting thoughts into you mind. It is for reading neural activity. The brain is far too complex a and everybody due to experience and knowledge domain emphasis is wired neuronally different. The clot shot is much, much closer to producing robot zombies of the survivors who will rage out or collapse at given 5G frequencies modulated with well know wavelengths that induce such. AT&T and Verizon are much closer to deserving of scorn than Musk and his forward looking enterprise business mind ventures. His interest are ideologically aligned to a great degree with Space Force. If Trump is actually still CIC then these are his guys. Pay attention. There will be questions later in the final exams.
Thanks for this information. We need both sides of this question in mind as we navigate dangerous and promising new worlds.
It is a known fact that using monkeys does not correlate to human beings.
I’s simply torture of an animal. Musk is already putting chips in monkey brains.
When it comes to money, Musk will have no problem crossing the line for whatever
the RESET or NWO requires. Money is his god.
Research Charles Morgan. It may change your mind about the ability to ‘put thoughts into your mind’. And, of course, there is always MKUltra. Changing your thoughts and behavior is already possible.
C’mon, man. Why hasn’t anyone mentioned the thought control king? He was so proud of it that he wrote the book: Propaganda, by Edward Bernays.
Actually, Twitter is perfectly capable of putting thoughts in your mind, through censorship of truthful information and Asch experiment unity of voices, filtered and adjusted by AI, possibly individually targeted once certain algorithms identify the subjects via trigger words.
In other words, algorithms could search for 17 year old boys with mental illness, suicidality, and guns in the home and badda being, whaddya know . . . School.shooter with an “ex-FBI” handler over Discord.
Snowden said as much years ago about the ability of social media to be used for mass thought and behavioral control, and we know Facebook and Google were running full scale experiments on users to see whether they could, for example, induce rage. Now what would be the utility of inducing rage in a targeted population?
Summer of 2020 folks?
Similarly, the more than 1000 percent increase in 13 year old girls identifying as transgender is clearly an example of a successful social media induced epidemic of mental illness.
Apparently Musk just shut some of this down. He just allowed users to fact check Dick Durban’s amplification of the “hate speech cannot be allowed ” script, and what a beautiful thing that was to see indeed.
The Asch experiments showed that all you needed was 1 buddy sticking with you with the truth, and compliance with repeating a falsehood sank to 5 percent.
Elon just put a glitch in the Matrix.
And he is allowing Eliza Bleu to call out Twitter for being a child porn dissemination platform while at the same time Twitter was being used to push UN thought controls and color revolutions through its previously clandestine “human rights team”

Things are getting spicy.
An idle rich boy with unlimited money…what could go wrong?/s
Musk is also an atheist.
He has no consistent boundaries.
“Idle rich boy”?
He works harder than you ever did. You sound like an envious leftist unable to understand that some people got where they are through hard work.
Elon slept in his factory for months to get Tesla going…
People just keep on trusting and getting duped over and over again.
Desperation for truth has people racing toward any frail glimmer of light.
I trust one man.
He initially appeared so ludicrous.
Liked what he said.
I voted.
He never let me down.
His enemies are my enemies because he proved he was good for all of America.
So — Elon, McCarthy, RNC, Fox News, etc —
watch your narrative…
Betray him.
Betray me.
Republicans, Trump, Flynn.. Enjoyed them when I perceived their actions to be beneficial in the long run. I can no longer enjoy them. I am angry at them for trying to take me for a dupe. Homey ain’t nobody’s dupe.. I could go on and on. Fortunately I never put my faith in man. All fall short. Me too. However I am smart enough to spot allied motions on the landscape and align with them, watch them amusedly. I imagine many here who decry such have the type of mind that creates idols out of men. And do not dare speak against their idols or you are evil. Typical religion swap. Just enjoy he show. It is all for the purpose of demonstration by Mr. Apocalypse. God has a tasty sense of humor. Just look at the Pelosi fiasco.
“I imagine many here who decry such have the type of mind that creates idols out of men.”
Idols are things one worships..
Will speak for myself. As someone who only kneels to the One True Living God, I realized Nov 2020, no! God showed me that I had placed too much confidence in the capabilities of one man. I believe many have learned that.
You say you are angry at Trump, Flynn etc for trying to make you a dupe. Nah, be glad you learned.
I don’t know if Tesla is failing. I’m an old “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” kinda guy. They’re deactivating my 3G phone, and I’m not happy to be forced to go to 5G–3G meets all my needs. I’m not turning in my car until the green monsters terminate gasoline. Frankly, I think their utopia will be a world in which ordinary people aren’t allowed to travel outside their “authorized zones”.
OTOH, my son likes his Tesla. It’s fine for daily commuting. However he borrows my car for back country trips, and he is looking at buying his own gas-powered SUV for those trips, and for hauling stuff that’s too big for his small sedan.
My other son has a Prius hybrid. It’s worked well for him for the past 12 years.
I don’t know why the future isn’t hybrids. Seems the best of both worlds.
Musk is a sly BLACK HAT.
With the same degree of credence I claim you are a left wing plant meant to keep conservatives off the most active social media platform, that is NOT an echo chamber, prior to the elections.
hate much? get a life dude, Elon musk has never done anything to you. You sound like a fkkking Democrat
Say what you want about Tesla, but they’re the first NEW car company to succeed in almost a century!
Tesla does not “succeed” without all the government subsidies.
Our tax money is keeping Tesla afloat.
Tesla broke away from that model about a year ago. The company has 2 billion in Dept and 22 billion cash on hand making 20% margin on every vehicle sold.
I think the word has gone out to downplay Tesla, just as they were not invited to the White House EV summit they also seem to be overlooked by some online reporting sites.
https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2022-us-vehicle-sales-figures-by-model/
But their sales and share are increasing.
Also of note is the Semi is starting to ramp up with targets of 50k units a year. If this is achieved (i think there is a big enough short haul trucking to sell to) it will by itself almost double Teslas annual revenues since they will go for over $180k a unit.
The left has lost control of Tesla and Elon, as George Carlin told us, it is a big club and we are not invited.
The Jasons out of the Defense Policy Review Board decided on the EV push probably 20 years ago now
Musk was just a front man for them on that.
He is not acting so puppet like now. Someone cut his strings? New puppet masters?
Starlink provides internet to thousands of rural people and countries. I planned to use it until we finally got fiber in our rural county.
Starlink is assisting Ukraine military, hence Musk is helping the Nazis.
i read on multiple sites that he turned it off the other day.
Fiber is dead in the water
Why is that? Seriously want to know your thoughts.
Hahahaha! Ahhhhh! Hahahaha!
B.S. Xfinity (part of local cable wh*re Communist Cast) couldn’t put a cable to my house down a 300ft driveway for less than $10k. Dish never can find a clear shot to a satelite.
They don’t want my biz.
CenturyLink DSL works just fine and will for years to come. I don’t have an alternative out here in the sticks.
1. Failing car company? Tesla, without a marketing dept, has sales lined up for the next year+! They can’t make them fast enough…
2. Littering space with satellites? Mostly used by military? All false… you need a good many satellites to make a reliable network. Has over half a mil subscribers to his internet. Will expand exponentially. Military makes some use of it, as with other sats, but “mostly”? No, not even close. Starlink brings internet to places of USA (and world) that have little to no connectivity.
Whatever you think of Elon, but please, stop making s*it up!…
Oh, and “he’s only for the money” is also bull! He risked everything numerous times and played a risky game to get where he is. He lived in the factory for months to make Tesla successful. He lives in a small mobile house now, because he said his old mansion was empty and depressing…
I don’t agree with all he says but don’t disparage someone just cause you don’t like him. He succeeded where you and most didn’t. That’s what leftists do.
Last… His focus was always on Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, so you can excuse the man for being undereducated politically. I mean, how many people do you see literally inventing and developing some of the best and futuristic companies from scratch?
But he’s learning… and he’s also playing the “game” to succeed. It’s not for money… he was very transparent when he told you why he got Twitter. Perhaps you liked it better the way it was?
I give my kids 2 role models and I’m fervent about both of them: Trump and Musk.
Both have flaws, but both are better than most…
PS. Even Musk said the Oil industry is important. His move towards electric should be slow and based on the market. I drive a Tesla and once you drive one you’d never go back to gas. I’m not doing it for the environment either. It’s just better economics once I did my basic analysis (that works for me). Don’t become like the chanting leftists…
Musk is a snake-oil salesman. He promised self-driving Teslas for years and could not deliver (not that I would ever advocate for them myself anyway).
Musk is in business for himself and his stock price value-nothing else.
If you’d read the research you’d realize it is a tough problem and not that promises have been broken. Turns out, without a set of guiding principles, even perception and downstream decision making by computers (and humans) are near impossible.
Sounds like what a leftist quack would say.
He’s as much of a snake-oil salesman as any salesman I’ve met or any business man. If you look in the mirror, your a snake-oil salesman too…
How is Musk in biz for himself? Half baked comments are just that, and reflect poorly on you.
There’s a reason autonomous vehicles are not front and center.
He made all his money on PayPal
No, he made his first big money off PayPal. Then used it for Tesla. Then used that for Starlink. Then used that to buy Twitter.
He has jack squat to do with what the current ownership/leadership at PayPal are doing.
Selling it
It’s not a perfect world.
We have to deal with the good and the not so much. Hopefully more good things come from this.
So far, I ‘m glad Musk has changed the ugly dynamic of Twitter. He could lose financially and politically several ways . We can hope and maybe participate.
I agree. Why do so many insist that Musk be a saviour who passes the purity test. Humans are flawed. Why not saddle up and start fighting back in your own corner of the world.
The tendency to demonize by box ticking is exactly what the Leftists do.
Even here on the Treehouse, we often look for perfection when there isn’t any. Even PDJT isn’t perfect (e.g., not firing Fauci, Wray, etc.). When someone does something right, we should commend and support. When that same person does something wrong, we should point out and oppose. With Musk, I was disappointed that he did not get rid of several more of the liberal sensors at the top and figured his free speech philosophy was more talk the talk than walk the walk. Now, this cuts, especially cutting the staff that reviewed these accounts and enforced their censorship may actually improve free speech in the short term. I will wait to see how these things shake out.
Remember, much if not most of his wealth comes government largesse. For years his top line revenue for Tesla was almost 30% on trading and selling carbon credits. Only recently has revenue from sales become a larger portion of top line. Starline, SpaceX, etc., are all dependent on the government. And, based on Sundance’s disclosures on Jack’s Coffee Shop, I expect something similar for Twitter.
The Government has ownership of Twit. Maybe not from a financial standpoint, but from an involvement one.
I don’t trust him either. I’m watching closely. As you say, “Words are words.”
A lot of us are looking for “fruits,” my friend…
The fruits of you I see are FUD and shade being cast. Your prognostication does not fit the facts. He is agreeing with Tom Fitton. Do you work as MSLSD perhaps? Those clowns over there will make up anything to throw shade on anybody who doesn’t toe the ideological line 100% and they certainly would like the conservatives to stay off the platform till after the upcoming erect..umm..elections.
I don’t understand the tendency that wants one person to be “all this” or “all that”.
If anyone is looking for God, then seek out God. He is all this and all that and never varies.
But to put any flawed human being on some kind of projected pedestal, trying to check out if they will meet every possible quality I must have………….that’s a waste of time and just not a good idea.
Take the day’s events, the moments as they are. That’s all they are. They are not a perfect indicator of everything that person could or would be. I always cringe a little when someone says, “Well, that restores my faith in humanity!”
The worst thing that could happen is that someone shows up who will meet our every expectation, solve every dilemma, never miss a beat, fix everything that has ever made us uneasy—watch out for that person. Unless that person actually is God, anyone who believes their presentation as being everything is in great danger of falling for the anti-God, the anti-Christ. It’s plain in Scripture (both Old Testament and New Testament) that the antiChrist will be such a very attractive person, the all-time problem-solver and the perfect expectation-meet-er. Taken as being capable of filling the place that only Holy God can fill.
I have no expectations of Musk (or President Trump, or, hearkening back to some very good days, President Reagan) to be “all this” or “all that”.
I agree with Sharon. There IS a reason WHY melodrama, with a “white hat” Dudly Dooright, and a black hat Snidely Whiplash, is the most popular story model, thruout history.
Its SIMPLE. And it leads to a conclusion and happy ending.
To me, the stories of the Bible, taken together are a study in the foibles of human nature; its a little more COMPLICATED than the simple melodrama.
I often LIKE what people DO, I try to avoid the human nature tendency to conflate that LIKE for their ACTIONS, with likeing THEM.
Truth is, Biden has done as much to grow MAGA, in his two years as POTUS, as PDJT did in his first four year term.
Point being, what Musk has done; his actions, have been great in terms of public dialogue, and exposing the dark side of Social media.
And, I and many of us LIKE that. What will happen is very much a wait and see.
And Sweet Nell, what of Sweet Nell?
I think she preferred Dudley’s horse. Kinky when you think about it too hard.
I agree. However, there are people who are consistently dependable. Over time they have proven to be trustworthy.
My problem is this tendency to rush to embrace politicians —or others in positions of power —without waiting to see if their actions match their words.
It is not about anointing a fellow mortal to the status of God.
Trust but verify- a very smart man
Agree, Dutch…taking over Twitter and (hopefully) removing it’s censorship is one POSITIVE thing Elon has done, but I’m holding final judgement to see how it works out.
“ Truth is, Biden has done as much to grow MAGA, in his two years as POTUS, as PDJT did in his first four year term.”. Touché
Those Depts. he got rid of seem like a d*mn good start.
Check out the twit on page 1.
I didn’t bother reading the comment history of these ‘Musk is meany don’t trust him’ posters, but at a glance they set off my troll dectector.
I don’t agree. I think it is a matter of not rushing to judgement. It is too early to embrace or condemn.
Paypal….Tesla…SpaceX, and now Twitter. None of these entities could exist without government subsidies. How much more of your tax dollars does Musk have to put in his wallet before a decision can be made?
Paypal had nothing o do with government handouts. Tesla got subsidies because they were looking to fund sectors of tech that would benefit the economy. I suggest you do not take a single tax break so you will not be a hypocrite. Note that Space X is not the NAZI created and staffed NASA.
Saturn V test engineering was NOT done by NAZIs! My dad was a lead test engineer on that project. He was a contractor working for Vitro at Redstone in Huntsville, AL.
He chased NAZI scum out of the Blockhouse at Redstone when they’d start aggravating his tech team. He never got flak. Those men sometimes worked for days with just a shower and change ofcsuit every 24 hours.
Don’t disparage what you do not understand. We would never have gotten to the Moon without an Alabama dirt farmer’s son, Korea War vet, and Auburn University BEEE, my dad, and hundreds just like him.
Saturn V was AMERICAN made, tested, and flown. We took a NAZI poof’s cute idea and turned it into reality.
Respect.
So we will see. But at present there is at least a chance the Musk is serious about free speech and wants to defend it. At this point I’m in support of the change. Twitter under Musk is likely not to get worse in regards to current speech control, which is an improvement. If he takes a tough stand regarding free speech good on him. Let us not judge before giving him a chance. Twitter cannot get worse under Musk, even though it may not be what we would desire. He spent 44 BILLION dollars allegedly to support free speech. We will see. For now I am giving him the benefit of the doubt as many globalists suddenly seem worried that at least one big tech CEO is attempting to expose them. We will see soon enough. I stand with honesty and freedom.
Elon Musk’s net worth is over $200 billion.
Let that soak in…
Kanye West’s net worth was huge too . . . A month ago.
How is he doing now?
I think he may have been somewhat forced to become a white hat. I also think this may end up with Twitter disappearing in the near future.
If so, that will prove an expensive lesson.
I agree with you.
Burned too many times.
Yeah, he’s a ‘baffle’er’. 😁
Remember after the Supreme Court ruling on abortion. He received a lot of criticism for is employee policies concerning that.
But, checking his employee benefits for Starlink and SpaceX if you are having a baby or want to have a baby, his companies are very generous.
They would pay for just about anything and everything concerning having a baby. Fertility treatments to all adoption expenses, etc.
Also remember Genesis 3:4 in which the Devil got foolish Eve to act against her own best interest. On a more mundane level as Reagan said, Trust but verify.”
Sending out an unprecedented number of pink slips is a good start.
People can’t always be lumped into a category – white hat or black hat. The way I see Musk is he’s been evolving and continues to do so. I’ve not been a fan of him, his nickname to me is the greatest showman/con man of our time. However, the guys from The Babylon Bee did an interview with Musk a few months back and it’s a good interview. So unlike something from say Joe Rogan who is a blathering idiot in my view. Musk is a supporter of The BB and was awoken when the twitter banned it.
I’m just saying there are people who aren’t black and white. They’re gray. I just keep watching Musk as the years go by with a curious cat type approach.
Matthew 7:15-20
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits – “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Just because Musk agrees with Fitton on these facts, doesn’t necessarily imply that Musk agrees with Fitton’s politics or not. One should look at the words themselves, not what others may want to imply. so far it looks like a bussiness analytic problems…..I understand Musk has quite a stable of engineers and programers….
Why does Musk need to agree with anyone’s politics but his own?
He has pledged to move Twitter back towards a more neutral stance and away from the rabid partisan d/prog ideologues who are hell bent on silencing any dissent.
All we should ask from Musk is a fair shake to make our arguments instead of being shadow banned, cancelled or exiled.
It’s not up to Musk to win the arguments for us. That’s our job.
Perhaps a “gray hat” a little white a little black hat. Perhaps Elon is smart enough to realize which way the wind is blowing.
He knows that in the long run the the election steal will not stand, it’s unsustainable. “The consent of the governed”
He understands the rolling fraud that we’ve been subjected to will shatter and doesn’t want a lamppost with his name on it.
History is replete with failed dictatorships, especially in a country with a 2nd Amendment 3/4 of a billion known weapons.
For instance one state: #24. Pennsylvania- Percent of residents with paid hunting licenses: 7.3%
– Total paid hunting license holders: 930,815
– Total hunting license, tags, permits and stamps: 2,646,720
Veterans US Census:
“This report looks at the roughly 18 million Americans, or about 7 percent of the adult population, who were veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces in 2018.”
Note: This doesn’t include the illegal weapons in the Blue Hives and throughout the land.
But: The enemy of my enemy is my friend” …trust but verify.
Mr. Fitton is always spot on.
I would say that Elon Musk has seen the support for MAGA and those are $$ signs he is seeing. He is looking at a market that is under served, and he has the tools and the power to fill the need.
He needn’t be a “white hat” to recognize that the conservative movement represents a tremendous financial opportunity. By agreeing with Mr. Fitton, Musk is acknowledging that there is a great opportunity for growth, stability and financial gain in the “business” he has just acquired.
I don’t think it has anything to do with his politics, but with his financial savvy. Remember Sundance’s “Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop” analogy?
Elon Musk may see the writing on the wall; when Republicans take over and the ones that are not bought and paid for by the CCP start doing real representatives work, Big Tech may be taking a huge hit, as in the divestiture days.
This is a great opportunity to extract a platform from the clutches of a dying regime, and turn it into a tremendous profit-making venture.
LOL
All I got is lol –
We’re mad and you should stop advertising because we’re no longer able to create narrative and divisive for what we believe is the political ideal view.
And pay attention to who is pulling advertising on twatter
Pfizer, General Mills, Target… the usual suspects.
General Motors and more on the list.
And, I think this Newsweek list itself is incomplete?
https://www.newsweek.com/every-advertiser-pull-out-twitter-since-musk-takeover-full-list-1756859
not a great loss in the bunch–my family can do without all of them ESPECIALLY PFIZER!
Everything, and I do mean everything, is under the umbrella of BlackRock and Vanguard, who are under the umbrella of globalist families..
General Mills is not just cereal…
Mr Musk should shut down advertisements for twitter platform wide…Watch them all melt
then charge them double to come back
BINGO! I want a list!!!
Andrew Torba, founder of GAB asks
“Anyone want to explain to me how the ADL—an organization that represents the interests of 2% of the population—has enough power to convince the biggest companies in the world to pull their advertising from Twitter simultaneously within 24 hours? Just noticing things.”
An old conundrum …
The correct answer gets you attacked, punished and maybe destroyed as a defamer by the “victims”.
“Jews” is the new “racist”.
Gab has a lot of discussion about how the Jews control everything. The way around that is for Christians to refuse to do anything that is anti-God no matter who is telling them to do it. We can say no to drag queen story hour or transgender procedures. Doesn’t matter who is pushing these things.
And if the Jews are responsible and don’t like it, they have a homeland now. They should go to it.
Sure wished the CTH was on Gab !
Its because they will call you a name out in public.
Its a shocking name and one that sticks like tar to the person it is thrown on, and it a horrible slander if it is not true.
Because no one wants to be called the name the ADL will use, they will all toe the line.
They started rattling on about me being anti-semite I would explain that it is actually Critical Semitic Theory and their institution is based on the protection of a pedophile sex murderer of a 12 year old Christian girl. I would also remind them that AshkeNAZI jews are not semites but Turko-Mongolian and query them as to why they are always stealing names and pretending.. I don’t take kindly to a bunch of rotten schemers trying to play games when they have no moral standing.
How many are true descendants of Abraham?
How many are just descendants of the 13th tribe and nothing else (not genetically Jewish in a Biblical sense)? Hat tip Arthur Koestler btw
Why did the Jews of the Bible reckon descent through the Patriarchs, while post Diaspora Ashkenazi Jews reckon descent through matrilineal, in line with some ancient pagan practices?
Is the fact that NAZI is found in the word Ashkenazi merely coincidence, or was someone having fun with words?
Why do we never learn about the Khazarian Empire in our history lessons?
Are there Jews who say they are Jews but are not?
Questions you can’t ask.
Ask Kanye West.
It’s a no-brainer, it’s a Front company like hundreds of others for the CIA.
Musk is more than likely aligned with Space Force. Space Force is not aligned with the CIA and seems to be a compartmentalized counter org. Folks around here are too smug and simplistic. This is low strategy and leads to false reading of the battle space and you are of no assistance to those doing the lifting. Perhaps as you claim it is no-brainer..just not in the context you meant.
Anti-Defamation League=ADL
They have always been grubby little money clutchers slandering decent and not so decent people.
Perhaps by chance you have met their sister,
The southern poverty law center?
It’s not who they represent, who do they influence… if they influence even 10-15% of a population, it’ll have major effects on any corporation.
A united 3% of a population can achieve many things… well, if they’re united. That’s how a small but vocal minority can screw an entire country while the vast majority remains silent.
Everything is under the umbrella of globalists.
New horizons for Twitter.
(The source is The Washington Post, so take it with a grain of salt)
“Chief Twit’ Elon Musk is ‘working on plans to charge for video content’ – potentially opening a door to challenge PornHub – as he now tells users he wants to make the network ‘the most accurate source of information on Earth’
💠An internal email cited by the Washington Post revealed the plans
‘When a creator composes a tweet with a video, the creator can enable the paywall once a video has been added to the tweet,’ the email read
💠The proposed move would mean creators who already post explicit clips will be able to put up their own paywalls
💠Twitter is already home to a thriving exchange of pornographic imagery, which comprises about 13 percent of all content on the site
💠Musk said that his new mantra for the platform is to make it the ‘most accurate source of information on Earth, without regard to political affiliation’
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11381833/Musks-Twitter-working-plans-charge-video-content-potentially-challenging-PornHub.html
Maybe someone will upload accurate video pertaining to the “Paul Pelosi” episode from October 28, 2022 . . . some of us missed that.
Pornography? No! Thanks!
It’d be good to have an accurate information on what happened, tho.
Here is what I have gathered and believe.
The kid is a paid prostitute that Paul had hired and did hire, ( both in their underwear ).
It got too weird for the kid when a third player broke out the zip ties (for restraint), ( Nancy ? ).
The kid was trying to escape ( which explains the doors being broken outdoors rather than in).
Panic ensued, police were called to capture the kid and cover it up.
Apparently they refused to completely follow the corporate story.
In rushes the fbi, filing charges, etc.
Which makes absolutely no sense to observers.
It’s falling apart.
LOL – I hate to break it to ya, but PornHub doesn’t charge unless you go “live” with someone. The video content is all free.
(My grandson explained this to me. He’s 16, so in need of constant “relief”.)
I thought that pornhub had creator subscriptions and pay for content options like many less prurient web services.
That aside, there is nothing of the good, beautiful, or true in Elon Musk. He is a servant of evil who happens to be saying things we want to hear in order to lure us (back) into the web of lies he now owns.
If the article is true, Elon Musk must be misinformed, then.
Well, Elon is going to make them pay to advertise, or,
He wants them gone but doesn’t want a drawn out, costly lawsuit.
LMAO.
You should explore with him what that is doing to his brain, and his ability to form and sustain a future intimate relationship.
Agreed.
Porn ruins people whether they believe it or not.
No, actually he isn’t.
He is ruining his ability to pair with a female.
As the females have ruined their chances to pair by being far to easy.
Oxytocin rules !
So far, it looks like Musk is just paying lip service to free speech and instead surrounding himself with authoritarian leftists.
I would opine, besides the distraction operation from election fraud running on this gig, we can expect substantial claims from one side or another as to whether Musk is a white or black hat, crossing traditional political lines.
Twitter doesn’t put food on my table so I’ll sit back and see how it shakes out. I’m always suspicious of smiling strangers so I’ll wind my watch and we’ll see.
If my test tweets are removed I will leave twitter.
Yep. That one was pretty blatant.

Don’t wanna see Musk in a black bikini :: shudder ::
Now the Twitter employees know what means to be cancelled or shadowbanned. Musk is my hero!
Twitter curators layoffs is like watching “the matrix”. Curation Is all about control of narrative and no w being exposed
Musk purchased a company that has been operating at a financial loss. Even if it was breaking even, or running a bit in the black, it’s Musk’s company now and he’s going to do what’s always done when there’s a change at the top of the corporate ladder. He’s going to shake up middle and upper management, bring in his own people, and run things the way he wants. No surprise there, unless of course you live in a utopian bubble that keeps you oblivious to reality. Sounds like quite a few have recently had their bubble burst for them. Poor little dears. They may not realize they’re not the first to get the axe after a takeover. It’s going to take some time for the new management to sort things out. In the meantime I continue to enjoy the show as Musk makes his way through his new company, and as ol’ Foghorn Leghorn would say: “being as subtle as a hand grenade in a barrel of oatmeal!”
Fortunately they’ll get their nice comfortable salary until well after Christmas without having to work at all, presuming they did anything productive prior. I wonder how many did similar during Covid. Play the game, be on the right team; profit. Never underestimate the Communist network. They won’t suffer. America.
If you know any of them, wait until you see how many of them become part of the 87000 new IRS employees with an agenda. Biggest difference in their work at Twitter and the IRS will be the guns and ammo!
Good luck to these Twits if they have to move and find rental property. No sympathy. Three months is very generous especially since most of them make a ton of money to start with.
And not only full salary for 90 days (California Labor Dept. laws require just 60 days advance notice for a mass layoff) but each fired employee also receives their full benefits package ie; their medical plans and contributions to their retirement plans.
Musk stipulated they may not work or come on site or into buildings. They are legally employed until February 2nd 2023 but may not work. He had their computers shut down and access portal blocked at 3:00 am. Everything on them was wiped.
There can be no criticism, Musk owns the company and he’s smarter then his employees and not one is financially injured. Nevertheless a group of them have filed a lawsuit. I suggested to Musk he comply and give them 60 days advance notice with full compensation instead of 90 days notice.
They’re not going to get their cushy jobs back …
Poor babies!!!
Long thread on the pathetic “Human Rights Team” that was fired by Elon today.
Presuming Musk cleans things up, they’ll simply move the operation somewhere else. It flourished under the watchful eye of Branch 4 so, as long as those humans remain vertical and breathing, expect this inconvenience to be short-lived.
I am reminded of the child-porn bust in Florida last year that took out two fan belt inspectors and wounded three. Perhaps another inside job in the kiddie porn operation.

Biden says Twitter spews lies across the world
Excerpt:
ROSEMONT, Illinois, Nov 4 (Reuters) – U.S. President
Joe Biden said on Friday that Elon Musk had purchased a social media platform in Twitter that spews lies across the world.
Twitter laid off half its workforce on Friday but said cuts were smaller in the team responsible for preventing the spread of misinformation, as advertisers pulled spending amid concerns about content moderation.
Biden said at a fundraiser: “And now what are we all worried about: Elon Musk goes out and buys an outfit that sends – that spews lies all across the world… There’s no editors anymore in America. There’s no editors. How do we expect kids to be able to understand what is at stake?”
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/biden-says-twitter-spews-lies-across-world-2022-11-05/
LOL!
Oh no, Joey has lost one of his major media outlets to spread voter disinformation and election misinformation. I guess he’ll have to depend on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC to roll out the stories of how long it is taking to miscount the ballots. After all, it takes a little extra effort to sort through the ones you want to scan 50 times for every 1 that is scanned once. If those Twitter DNC activists try to work on a campaign, they will be in violation of their severance agreements!
Take note of this all you folks here trying to get conservatives to stay off the platform prior to probably the most important election yet in America. Brandon is miffed his control of twitter a a part of his vote fraud machine has been captured by forces not loyal to the commie left.
Interesting phrasing, “no editors.”
There is a (not very good) book out by Stephenson set in a high tech future in a post-Apocalyptic America. Everyone has an “editor ” on their internet feeds, a person who makes sure that only those items or that information that the person is supposed to see is seen.
I doubt Biden reads Neal Stephenson, but the context fits perfectly.
In fact, I think whoever actually wrote that piece of dialogue absolutly reads Stephenson and was trolling the Davos crowd, waving their loss in front of them as all those “editors” got shut down less than a week before they were due to direct from behind the curtain. No time to adjust the sheep gates, and House Pelosi is in disarray.
Now “Biden” is gone before Christmas probably. CNN and the NYT already geared up the effort, looking at the latest Zerohedge article that’s up. Not a coincidence.
The fact that the censorship was probably all human-based is honestly surprisingly and idiotic.
You are fired. Now pay your $8 to keep your blue checkmark. LOL.

It’s hard to overstate what Elon Musk has been bringing to Twitter so far.
Just as important as the pushback against censorship, the radical left created the illusion their extreme views were ‘mainstream’ & conservative views are ‘extreme.’
This is a social media revolution.
2/. Also, just watched an interview with Elon Musk. He says basically that we don’t need YouTube either, so content creators will be able to monetize videos and podcasts. Let’s just say as a content creator that makes me thrilled. YouTube can start to panic now.

Disclosure. I did a video for The Boring Company in 2014. A 3D animation of the machine boring through the earths crust. However..I had no clue who Musk was at the time. I currently work as a tech lead with AI making tools for the average developer and designer to bring conversational interaction and voice driven command and control to their applications.
Consider this: team rolling out a subscription service that is expected to launch on Nov. 7.
An introduction to a subscription service for Twitter. This appears to be the beginning of the introduction to a subscription service (and loss of anonymity) for the internet itself. IMHO, just as bitcoin allowed people to be used to internet money, that they could not hold in their hand, so as to make the transition into CBDC less of a jolt, so is the Twitter subscription service the initial introduction of a subscription service for the internet itself…..
Since they got 60 days paid notice of termination it would appear the WARN law does not apply.
I saw a tweet from Elon saying he is giving them 90 days, 50% more than req’d by law. Won’t stop them from trying to sue an sabotage him
Billionaires can afford the best lawyers. He is giving these people a tremendous amount of severance. Plus, I daresay many of them have employee stock options, and you can’t beat a share price of $54.20, which is considerably more than what the free market was paying at the end. These people are not “hurting” and they won’t be “hurting” for a very long time.
Elon took Twitter private. Those employees already benefited once. If love 3 months of pay while I found another job. Plus that 90 days prevents them from working elsewhere and providing insider tips to new employer
If someone can advise of ONE Musk project that is not completely intertwined to the US government…..?????

Got a few great ideas for privately owned companies that could lose up to $4 million a day
Any takers for 22 billion? cheap at half the price and still debt free
In fact, for 11 Billion, and for 1 day only, I’ll not bother starting them, let alone write the business plan, and save any new investors a fortune over and above the 2 minute reading time they might never get back..
Didn’t Musk say he wanted to turn Twitter into a Chinese app that is a “go to for everything”? Can’t remember the name of the app – very popular in China where you can tweet, order dinner, do your bank, monitor your house etc. It made sense to me, knowing Elon, then they would have only one place to go to to turn you off from society. Social credits achieved.
And you assume everybody is just going to robotically sign up and become zombified. Jeesh. The science fiction writing around here is very plot thin and jumps from relatively free society to absolute tyranny in less than a page and we are supposed to just swallow the plot hook, line and sinker.

I see Elons takeover of Twitter as the next step in his X vision.
Free speech is the public reason.
Money is the real reason.
To over simplify it, it’s a payment system that would allow people in the United States to do business with people in Russia directly over a smartphone that circumvents all sanctions. Nothing any government could do about about because its a private network.
You have to listen to Peter Theil pitch it back in the 90s when they were just coming up with paypal.
They wanted to be an alternate financial system, that people could move their money into that is not controlled by ideological banks and where the government couldn’t shut it down unless they shut down the telecommunications system itself.
They didn’t have the technology for that back then and paypal failed. It became just another payment system within the current financial system.
So, that my take. I suppose we will find out soon enough.
Musk is the only one who can restore true free speech to us as America existed in the distant past. Speech has been in the past and can be in the future free and civil. We don’t need raving lunatics on the internet. Hopefully when new algorithms are implemented, they will be a step in the right direction.
I think Musk believes his ideas are the best and according to him will prevail in a more open environment to discuss them. Whether or not the market will accept them is not the place in his head at the moment. Right now is the the groundwork phase, what this will lead to down the road is anyones guess. But I do believe he wants to go down the the road of debate and plurality to make this “big thing” happen. IF we are headed down this new path… “AI” etc …. the only way it does not go off the rails is if MILLIONS of people venture into it with eyes wide open and informed. I do believe there is a camp out there that wants to keep us all in the dark, engineer another catastrophe, and shove a chip into our heads to fix it by controling us. But another possibility that maybe if this is humanities future like the phone, computer… open and honest debate and development of the technology would be beneficial and bring society positive results in the future….
And makes Musk BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars in the process!!!!!
LOL! Love the handle.
I suspect that the vast majority of people who use Twitter are there to socialize which includes commenting on various topics and don’t have or need blue checks, so it’s still 100% free for them. If the advertiser boycott can be resolved, he could do well.
And maybe even if it isn’t. Remember, his fortunes started when he created and sold PayPal.
“Nov 4, 2022 – Electronic payments specialist PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ: PYPL) has seen its stock price plunge throughout the year, and its latest financial report indicated further challenges ahead.”

Musk’s Dangerous Vision for Twitter
It is not what you think it is…
Robert W Malone MD, MS

https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/musks-dangerous-vision-for-twitter
Musk’s vision for Twitter is “one stop shopping.” E-commerce. He intends to bring social media, banking, auto loans, Amazon type buying, insurance, paying loans and utility bills, medical insurance, service estimates, you name it- under the umbrella of Twitter. Everything you do, buy, need – could be bought on the Twitter website. This is about power and money.
Why does he care about bot accounts? Because what he is buying is access to you, to me, to each and everyone of us on Twitter now or on Twitter in the future. He wants to know the exact number of warm bodies to sell to his investors. Remember – with the purchase of Twitter, he will have a client base maybe in the billions – before he even launches a single product! That client base includes some of the most influential, wealthy and educated people on the planet.
Trust but Verify.
Just by the fact that the man has gotten rid of half of the biased moralistic hypocrites that worked for him makes the chances of conservative advances in the mid terms that much greater.
Their easy ride is over and..that of the democratic party. Its so good to see their downfall.
Wonder if Sussman’s bff Jim Baker still has a job?
The jury will be out for a few months on Elon. Do not under estimate him. He is on a different intellectual plane. We’ll just have to wait and see. Leftist leadership and 50% of the Leftist employees are gone at Twitter already; that’s a start; and it’s not worse than it was. This was the first layoff, not the last. Elon also has brought in some Tesla Engineers to examine what the Hell was going on, freeze code, and protect IP. All is better than what we had.
Even if Elon Musk loses and Twitter goes bung, he will have destroyed Twitter. He can afford it at present.
But what punishment will the alphabet agencies inflict on him for destroying such an effective common tool of governement sponsored espionage on citizens around the world?
1. Elon Musk. $241 B ;
2. Jeff Bezos. $151 B ;
3. Bernard Arnault & family. $141 B ;
4. Bill Gates. $119 B ;
5. Warren Buffett. $98.2 B.
He paid $44 B for Twitter
So if he loses the lot he is still the richest man im the world
AND he has socked it to the Left
Well, whether you like and trust Elon is for one to choose. But, I sure like what he is and has done with Twitter. Don’t feel sorry one bit for everyone who lost their job, they didn’t feel bad about you losing yours when they were pushing the c19 and jab nonsense. And he is revealing alot about what was going on there. And…what about Space Force that Trump set up….
how involved in that is Elon? If they hate him…..
he might be good for us!
Compare that to this: “Biden signed an executive order on his first day in office that suspended work at the Keystone XL Pipeline. The move cost U.S. workers over 11,000 jobs, including 8,000 union jobs.” They got no severance package.
None of the “activist” efforts really matter. What will matter is the NLRB lawsuit just filed. Musk apparently failed to give sufficient advance notice of the impending firings and layoffs. One does not take the NLRB mandates lightly … just ask anyone with a background in the coal / steel / refining industries.
Considering that billionaires can afford teams of the best lawyers to advise them, I doubt he’d do anything seriously stupid. I’ll bet that lawsuit is just the usual type brought no matter what.
They’re not going to get their jobs back.
Musk gave 90 days notice. No employees have been released yet. They’ve just been locked out of their work environment, losing their ability to do damage or delete anything they may have been working on. All are getting pay and benefits until February.
Musk knows what he is doing.
“failed to give sufficient advance notice of the impending firings and layoffs”
“Under the WARN Act, covered employers are required to give workers advanced notice when a plant closure or mass layoff is planned. This law requires that employers give at least written notices 60 days in advance when they plan to lay off more than 50 workers in a 30-day period during a plant closing.”
Read the email excerpt below. They aren’t actually “laid off” until Jan. 4, 2023, 60 days from their Nov. 4, 2022 notification that they just don’t need to come to work, but will be paid and receive full benefits until then.
So, this is basically a 60 day PAID VACATION and the lawsuit is probably using some BS interpretation of what “laid off” means.
The email, headlined, “Your Role at Twitter,” informed employees that “Twitter is conducting a workforce reduction to help improve the health of the company” and that “Today is your last working day at the company.” According to the letter, laid off employees will remain “employed” by the company and receive compensation and benefits through Jan. 4, 2023.
“During this time, you will be a on a Non-Working Notice period and your access to Twitter systems will be deactivated,” the email read. “While you are not expected to work during the Non-Working Notice period, you are still required to comply with all company policies.”
It would be terrific if Elon Musk would set the standard for trimming the fat, so to speak across the board.
I am a contractor to a very large federal agency, and while I am not an HR person, I provide technical services to a group of organizations that are HR.
Speaking from an “outsider/insider” perspective, if Elon Musk could be in charge of this agency, the workforce could be reduced by two-thirds and be much more streamlined and effective. All of these people make in excess of $100k. They spend their time attending “meetings”, organizing parties and lunches, attending diversity and inclusion training, etc. and very little time is spent actually doing the work on their job description.
Having observed HR departments across private industry, state government agencies and federal agencies, it is my conclusion that the bulk of HR departments are extremely wasteful, cause many more problems than they solve, and “make work” in order to keep themselves and others employed. They are a drain on any organization, coming up with endless useless policies, rules and “training” courses.
It does not matter whether Elon Musk is a good guy or an evil genius. This is an excellent business decision that could and should be applied across any service provider area, big tech corporations and state and federal agencies alike.
Here’s his apparently little known plan for Twitter:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/11/04/blue-check-twitter-is-big-mad/comment-page-2/#comment-9296608
“Diversity and Inclusion training.” I work for a major paint company. I received an invitation (sent to all employees) to attend an online “Network event celebrating the transgender community.”
Declined that one.
Being we are a chemical company it makes sense to be loud and open about our environmental stewardship since many people consider our industry to be criminal polluters. But I’m not sure how celebrating cross dressing and sexual deviancy relates to our core business.
“Learn to code”… for the CCP… assuming you weren’t already doing that.
The company had over seven thousand highly-paid employees and was losing $4 million a day. Who knows how long “Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop” has been doing this? Where has the money been coming from all this time?
You don’t need that many people to run a discussion board.
They’ll not all have been earning $20,000/ month though so maybe makes more sense to picture the $4M/ day as the break even cost of purchase averaged over 30 years at 0% interest..
On bright side, 500,000 blue check accounts at $8/ month might still be enough, in and of itself, to keep the new boss happy for up to 12 days a year
Not all of the loss is payroll. I’m sure Twitter is losing money on overhead and operations as well.
Precisely. Especially if Musk was so quickly able to identify 50% of the workforce as non-essential people whose departure would have no impact on the operation of the business.
A good example for our gubmint to take. I would suggest firing 1 senator from each state. Why should we pay for 2 bloviating fools from each state? Same with the House fire 1/2 of the herd.
There sure are a lot of Twitter addicts.
We’ve been exposing Twitter for years. Hopefully Elon makes some serious changes.

I’m going to throw a thought out here- why lock Twitter employees out of the system until Nov. 7, the day before the elections? Twitter has literally tons of servers, we know their fraud needs tons of servers, the secondary servers were traced to Germany (if I remember correctly), so where are the primary servers, hmm? If Twitter servers were the primary, why provide access again on Election Day? If I’m optimistic, I’d say his Tesla engineers ‘fixed’ something, but then why let original Twitter employees back into the system on the crucial day?
My metaphor for former Twitter employees: they are like young teenagers who insist and truly believe that their parents are stupid and use as proof the fact that they always win at whatever they engage in with their parents never realizing that their parents have let them win at these engagements for their whole lives. Typical 13 to 15 year olds
