They put that “carve-out” in the Law, because if they hadn’t, and one State had challenged the law, it would have been ruled UnConstitutional, Commerce Clause be damned; the Federal Govt has NO Constitutional authority to force Schools to have Gun free kill zones.
Bidens “Nationwide Mask Mandate” ONLY applied to Federal Properties for the same reason; even thru legislation, the Fed. Govt has NO authority to dictate mask wearing, OTHER than on Federal properties.
WE need to correct this mis-focus on FEDERAL Govt, AT THE EXPENCE OF State and Local Govt.s, as a fundamental aspect of fighting our enemy, and returning to the Govt our Founders intended.

The US military revealed Monday that earlier this month a US Coast Guard ship embarked on a routine patrol in the Bering Sea and its crew was surprised to come across a Chinese PLA Navy guided missile cruiser.
But more rare and unexpected was that the Coast Guard soon discovered the Chinese ship wasn’t alone as it sailed off Alaska’s coast, but was accompanied by two additional Chinese military ships and four Russian naval vessels, including a destroyer. The Chinese-Russian patrol group was described as being “in single formation”.
The Honolulu-based Kimball, a 418-foot vessel, observed as the ships broke formation and dispersed. A C-130 Hercules provided air support for the Kimball from the Coast Guard station in Kodiak.
Actually, military warship formations are pretty commonplace in that area. I don’t know what the fuss is about. These are international waters. Nothing to see here.

They never once gave the Tea Party any deference to that group’s earnest financial policy recommendations.
