Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

I LOVE it,…DANCE!
Didn’t, but felt like it all day.
Got a new song I have playing in my head, besides G. Harrisons “Give me love”.
Its “Ohaheya” by Rickie Byars Beckwith.
Hard to find, but worth the journey….
Refuge from the refuge,…so much gnashing of teeth, not enough JOY! in the other thread comment sections.
https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=bndT4bCCVlE
Yup, thats it, thanks F.C.
Got a song in my heart, and a smile on my lips, as I keep my eye on the Lord.
How can I be anything but joyous?
Perfect on this Monday Leon. You just gave me the biggest smile….you made my day.
Thanks and God bless.
Morning Ya’ll 🙂

Jay . . . 🙂 Have a great day!
Got timed out . . . This is a comment from the YouTube thread . . . Never think that this music dosen’t count . . .
years ago as a sophomore at university I reached probably the lowest point and wanted to give up. On a whim I bought plane tickets to Paris for a weekend and I spent 2 days just sitting in the park listening to this piece on repeat. to take a deep breath I always come back to this piece. years ago as a sophomore at university I reached probably the lowest point and wanted to give up. On a whim I bought plane tickets to Paris for a weekend and I spent 2 days just sitting in the park listening to this piece on repeat. One month ago I graduated from medical school and still when I need to take a deep breath I always come back to this piece.
This is also beautiful, but I think Jay gotcha today with Julie London. 😉
We’re not competing, dude.
True.
It is because music attaches itself in a more deep and permanent part of the brain. My mom suffered the ravages of Alzheimer’s. Long after she could recognize the faces of friends and family, she still enjoyed music and could sing along with her favorite hymns.
I think this a purposeful part of how we are created. We are told to learn and sing hymns and psalms. They attach to those deep and permanent parts of our memory are are available when needed for consolation and encouragement.
It is also the danger of using that valuable repository for things that are trivial or even vile. The good news is that there is a lot of room in there and the useless can coexist with precious. Just make certain that you store the precious things.
Well, said Vibe. Eva Cassidy always showed peerless good taste when she chose her songs. She was good enough to take a well-known song and make it sound like it was her’s.
When he was “on” Paul Simon could write magic . . . as he did did when he wrote Kathy’s Song. He wrote it early in his career. There’s an interesting back story connected to it.
Good morning Garrison! Just a couple of days ago I was going through the pictures from a trip we took 15 years ago. My cousin Julia who’s son Alex passed away last month had asked me to send her any pictures that I had of him from that same trip. We met them in Paris and spent 3 days there together. It was bittersweet looking through all the pics. For some reason at the time I did the slideshow to the tune of Hank Jr. Go figure…😂
If I may add to above…I have 100 or so songs on playlist..when I drive the truck plays the list..I got married 1965…I rented 26 ft sailboat.. three days sailing around so Fl on honeymoon.. dove for Fl lobster.. had steak & lobster for dinner..our theme song became.. Beach Boys .. SLOOP JOHN B..wife died 4 plus yrs ago..as I drive now and it comes on that whole trip comes into my brain 🤣great to remember ..

Mornin’ Gramps. Music and memories just seem to go together. :-0
19 September 2020 Lee Kerslake, British drummer (Uriah Heep; Ozzy Osbourne) dies of prostate cancer at 73 [1]
19 September 2009 Arthur Ferrante, American pianist and composer (Ferrante & Teicher – Exodus), dies at 88
19 September 2006 Chuck Rio [Daniel Flores], American rock singer, saxophonist, and songwriter (The Champs – “Tequila”), dies of pneumonia at 77
19 September 2004 Skeeter Davis [Mary Penick], American country-pop singer-songwriter (“(I Can’t Help You) I’m Falling Too”; “Set Him Free”; “The End Of The World”), dies of breast cancer at 72
I absolutely love this song by Skeeter Davis. I even did a cover of it. Something completely ethereal about her singing it, and something about the song hits hard and I can’t really explain it.
Thanks for sharing it. It’s one of my favorite songs and I can’t explain why.
When her name popped up on the list and with the song titles displayed, I had no idea who / what it was until I consulted utube.
Definitely remembered this song, it’s in boatloads of movies.
As for favorite songs??? hundreds, can’t really say why either and mood of the night (audience too… young, old, middle & what visitors are singing) is a big factor as well in song selection.
People that attend Karaoke ask me what my favorite is, I have a catalog of about 250+ that I have performed over the years (even more that are not in my singing range).
What artist would you like to hear?
If it is anywhere between 1970-1990 I probably know it and might even sing one of that artists tunes if it is in my range.
Steve Earle’s Copperhead Road is my most sang at 67 times, as it is requested to line dance to, followed by Tracy Chapman’s Give Me One Reason @ 48X. That is just on the current computer that was put into service in September 2017.
I know this because I congratulated someone for singing Bad Wolves Zombie for the 50th time last week, she won the county fair Karaoke contest with it right before covid, and yes she nails that song.
Latest song to be added was the Don Williams one that I posted here recently, I will definitely be doing it again.
Many of the songs I have posted here are now in my rotation for doing them, about once every 4 months so I don’t annoy the bartenders, as we all have to listen to the same 5 or so songs every week from the Karaoke regulars.
There was a folk singer type that used to entertain the kids on Hilton Head. He had a little stage under a tree near the harbor. One thing he would do to the embarrassment of the kids was to sing old pop songs in a sing along. He would stop suddenly and the parents would be able to keep on singing every time. It was great fun and the kids thought their parents were goofy-looking. It was a more normal time.
I too only remembered when I played it… have already added to my playlist 🤣👍

EXODUS LYRICS
ERNEST GOLD
This land is mine, God gave this land to me
This brave and ancient land to me
And when the morning sun reveals her hills and plain
Then I see a land where children can run free
So take my hand and walk this land with me
And walk this lovely land with me
Though I am just a man, when you are by my side
With the help of God, I know I can be strong
Though I am just a man, when you are by my side
With the help of God, I know I can be strong
To make this land our home
If I must fight, I’ll fight to make this land our own
Until I die, this land is mine
“Don’t they know it is the end of the world?” is one of the most haunting lyrics in my musical memories.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
From my study for yesterday:
17 “For behold, I create new heavens
and a new earth,
and the former things shall not be remembered
or come into mind.
Isaiah 65
Not only will the pain of this earth be gone, we will be blessed with not even remembering it. So much of life’s angst is the remembrance of painful things with the memories often more painful than that thing that hurt us and certainly more long-lasting.
Good morning all.
I’m up, drinking a cup of coffee and getting ready to get cleaned up and head out on the 4 stop run up in Chicago. Looks like the weather that they warned could be severe is a dud. Just some rain between me and Chicago and that is petering out as it moves SE.
Skokie, Shiller Park, and two stops in Elk Grove Village. I’ve been told that they have an outside carrier that is set up to run it the rest of the week so thankfully this should be my only Skokie run. But really this is much better than the Carrol Stream run for Toyta which is not an out and back and for which every one of the five stops is an inside dock. I would not be surprised if I end up doing that one later this week.
Well you be careful anyways.
Praying for your protection out there on the road rah…
God be with you..
Rah, I think you and I are neighbors. I am in Whitestown. Would love the opportunity to gather treepers and have a beer together by camp fire!

Are You Going on With Jesus
You are those who have continued with Me in My trials. —Luke 22:28
It is true that Jesus Christ is with us through our temptations, but are we going on with Him through His temptations? Many of us turn back from going on with Jesus from the very moment we have an experience of what He can do. Watch when God changes your circumstances to see whether you are going on with Jesus, or siding with the world, the flesh, and the devil. We wear His name, but are we going on with Him? “From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more” (John 6:66).
The temptations of Jesus continued throughout His earthly life, and they will continue throughout the life of the Son of God in us. Are we going on with Jesus in the life we are living right now?
We have the idea that we ought to shield ourselves from some of the things God brings around us. May it never be! It is God who engineers our circumstances, and whatever they may be we must see that we face them while continually abiding with Him in His temptations. They are His temptations, not temptations to us, but temptations to the life of the Son of God in us. Jesus Christ’s honor is at stake in our bodily lives. Are we remaining faithful to the Son of God in everything that attacks His life in us?
Are you going on with Jesus? The way goes through Gethsemane, through the city gate, and on “outside the camp” (Hebrews 13:13). The way is lonely and goes on until there is no longer even a trace of a footprint to follow— but only the voice saying, “Follow Me” (Matthew 4:19).
WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
When we no longer seek God for His blessings, we have time to seek Him for Himself.

A comment from article….What emissions equipment? It’s a pre-2012 truck. They had EGR and that was it.

Gotta feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto 😢
Cummins Diesel’s were added as an option in Dodge Ram’s in 1989, I got out of Chrysler dealerships in 1992 having never work on one or even be sent for any training on them as basically I was just a rookie back then.
Back then they were still very simple.
Flash forward to the GM Detroit Diesel Allison “Duramax” engine paired with a Allison Automatic and It had Become way more complicated.
Introduced in for the C3 GMC Seirra in the 2001 models. Mostly just a test for upcoming standardization issues, they would not allow you to crack a seal into the engine, just put in a new one and send the old one for them to dissect so they could make improvements to whatever failed.
I do believe I had already taken the test for the Allison Automatic transmission.
The IDtenT they had in charge of training, scheduled my buddy Dennis and I for the Duramax Engine class, and we went to it as it was in our basement over a DirecTV channel live.
Well the salesman now in charge of training did not sign us up for it so we did not have the workbooks to fill out to get credit for taking the class so they could SELL the thing. Here is the rub, they refused to pay us for the 4 hours we were taking the class.
We had been cut off from taking any work (mechanics are paid by flat rate (piece meal), we were very unhappy campers.
He did sign us up for the class on a rerun, but since they refused to pay us our 4 hours training, we refused to take the test til they did AKA pay us 8 hours for doing it again, they refused. So we would not until they did.
Flash forward a couple months and the Dealer principle sold the dealership and as his parting “gift” he had ordered himself a nice C3 dually 3500 truck with the Duramax combo.
GM kicked the order back saying that no one in our dealership was certified to work on it, so they would not sell it to us. LOL karma sucks, I would not wish to have been the guy in charge of getting us trained at that point.
He ended up with a gas version that had a major drive train boom that I ended up fixing for him and then got handed my walking papers shortly thereafter when the Pontiac dealer took us over.
New ownership handed everyone a employment application to reapply for our jobs….LOL… I don’t think so, I would rather have unemployment and it was a good thing too as 5 months later 9/11 … car repair went to he!!.
Went back to the forklift business after things recovered.
Many things on a car are heavy liability items, refrigerant AKA R-12 being the first and biggest. Catalytic converters and emission equipment, as a professional I/we will not do those sorts of things knowingly to a vehicle, it was a $10,000 fine to vent contaminated R-12 to the atmosphere, I had one of those and would not do it, associate manager rode me hard for not doing it… HA do it yourself or the customer can do it, I’m not going to take the chance that it is a setup for compliance, just to make 20 bucks.
Best case scenario for this guy is he should have kept those emission parts he removed to get the performance he wanted.
He either tossed them in the trash or sold them. Early ones were just a chip swap for the computer, last I knew it was only a direct reprogram from a Tech2 hand held terminal.
This should be a warning far and wide for the so called “Coal Rollers”.
Government can and will screw you over.
Mornin’ comrade banana republic infidel fascists.
My apologies if this has been already mentioned
Reports of blue green breast milk. 🤮

Dear God, please protect these babies. 🙏
I had not seen this…thanks for posting it.
Does not surprise me in the least. One of my Karaoke customers (who could easily become professional) was pregnant during the latter part of covid.
Her daughter has major seizure issues shortly after birth. She no longer attends due to the care issues associated with what they have labeled Epilepsy.
Déjà vu…. what did thalidomide do…oh now I remember.
History repeating because no one reads history or was it just intentional, as the substack sure reads it that way IMHO.
Thalidomide…Still in use today..
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/cancer/in-depth/thalidomide/art-20046534#:~:text=In%20the%201950s%20and%201960s,a%20skin%20condition%20and%20cancer.
😢
I saw that when I first posted about the vaccine and compared it to Thalidomide.
Thalidomide also has major warnings now, back then it was new and unknown, or was it, who knows.
At least we know who should not use Thalidomide, unlike an untested vaccine, or according to the substack they knew it had issues but what did they do?
Drug companies got the GOV to mandate people take it anyway….WT*!
Time will tell what else it causes, it is to late to go back once you got it.
The 40% increase in deaths among the working age category should be a huge warning that something isn’t right but on they push anyway…. now adding it to the yearly flu shot that mostly doesn’t work anyway.
Every time an employer pushed the flu shot off on me for free, it made me sick, after the 2nd time the answer became NO.
Well.. off to take a nap…. had to clean the deep freezers as all this “severe drought” that covers my area has been the most humid and wet that any old timer around here has ever seen. Daily rain here since mid June till now, finally had a week of sun and low humidity but just heard forecast that thunderstorm chance all this week…SMH.
At least all my wood doors shut again after a week of low humidity.
Food service provider will be here sometime between 11am-2pm gotta see if I can get a 3 hour nap hopefully.
1960, my mom gave birth to my little sister, seizure disorder, passed away at age 7.
This article reads like an old time Enquirer article. “Baby dies from tainted breast milk”.
What an emotionally triggered society we have become. They have conquered us with psy-ops.

The bank of heaven 🥰
Thanks for the uplifting message ❤️
Good Morning and may your day be filled with good surprises flyover!!!
When we were first married my husband and I drove the beautiful Highway 1 on Calfornia’s northern coast which passes through Big Sur. It is wildly beautiful, the ocean on one side and the hills and mountains on the other. Highway 1 is just a two lane road with long drops to the rocky coastline. At a food stop the resturant was playing this music, “Yearning and Harmony” and we bought the cassette to play along the way. It is kind of New Age stuff, but good road travel music suitable to the scenery and our mood.

Hi Lindak… glorious way to relax brain and on a Monday too!!!!
Thanks for the recharge ❤️
Yes indeed. Highway 1 is a spectacular drive, especially when going through Big Sur. As you mentioned, Pacific Ocean on one side, huge mountains on the other. I used to drive a Volkswagen from Alameda to San Francisco, then get on Highway 1 heading south for Santa Barbara. San Simeon, Hearst Castle, and a little town called Harmony were along that route.
I went on a back packing trip through the Ventana Wilderness from Big Sur. Scenery was unreal. Found some hot springs 16 miles in.
Yes, Highway 1 really is unforgettable. Once you are on it though there is no turning back.
I grew up in L.A. and at one point my parents decided to take us to Hearst Castle. It was a long drive and we stopped at various beaches along the way to camp and stretch our legs.
I think we went all the way up to Lake County and Clear Lake as our final destination. My dad loved to take driving vacations. We once drove up to Alberta, Canada!
Politics aside, California is really a beautiful state.
It is wild country once you get off the road or used to be.
In December, 1977, I drove south from Carson City NV on US 395 to Bishop, CA. Roads were very icy and I had to be careful. I headed east from Bishop to Death Valley and stopped at Stove Pipe Wells. Sat on top of a large sand dune soaking up the sun’s warmth.
The Mojave Desert is huge; quite different from the spectacular scenery you would see on California’s coast. Redwood trees and ferns are amazing, but I’m more partial to Joshua trees, sand dunes, and cacti.
BTW I’m originally from Long Beach, CA; grew up in Orange and Santa Barbara counties. I remember a Helm’s bakery truck blowing some kind of a horn or whistle when they came through our neighborhood in Westminster, CA.
That’s right! The Helm’s truck came through our neighborhood too. I grew up in El Segundo between LA Airport and El Porto Beach(near Manhatten Beach). Most moms were home and the kids in the neighborhood could play outside all summer, from house to house. Lots of fun getting ice cream from the ice cream tuck and donuts and bread from the Helm’s truck when it came through. We recycled bottles for 3 cents each to get spending money for candy etc.
My Dad used to take my brother out to the desert to shoot, mostly at cans and so forth. I agree the desert has its own particular beauty.
My dad grew up in Long Beach. His grandfather came over dirt poor from England and settled in California. We have pictures of their 6 horse wagon in the yard and Artesia Blvd. behind them as a dirt road! North Long Beach, citrus groves and dairy farms.
I don’t have much memory of Long Beach; I do remember lots of orchards and farmland near Garden Grove and Santa Ana, CA. My parents moved numerous times from Westminster to Orange County alone. Then there was the house they bought near Isla Vista in Santa Barbara county. A stone’s throw away from a very isolated beach. I can still hear the fog horns and sea gulls…
Back in the 60s Hostess fruit pies went for 15 cents apiece. And they were fairly large compared to what they look like now.
That’s right. I forgot about fruit pies.
Isla Vista sounds wonderful. You know, Dr. Robert Malone grew up in Santa Barbara County also. He and his wife met as kids and he spoke of the beaches there and being able to ride horses on the beach when they were young.
The smell of the sea air in SoCal has a special place in my heart. I went back a few years ago and that is one thing that has not changed a bit.
Ahhhh, the last time I drove Hwy1 was in 2005. I lived in Marina for 25 years and for a fun sunny Sunday I’d drive down to the Big Sur River Inn with the kids. We would spend hours out on the lawn along the river listening to the live music while the kids enjoyed splashing around in the shallow river. It was always a wonderful break from the cold foggy coast of Monterey.
The best trip south was on the back of a motorcycle when our club did a run to Hearst Castle. Good memories.
Yes.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.

✟
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.”
Isaiah 55:8 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
I wanted to mention that I posted a song from ABBA last evening on the open thread. The song is “Ring Ring” It was mostly for entertainment and…
I thought it would be fun and a good reminder about reaching out to loved ones. The song was about calling someone you know as a reminder to keep in touch and ‘let your fingers do the walking.’
Out of nowhere, earlier this morning, my only sibling called me. I haven’t spoken to him for a very long time. He was brilliant and spoke about his job working in the oil industry in Texas.
I consider that a miracle. I’m thankful I said something here. Not sure how he got the message, but he did.
Wow, how cool is that?!
Thanks be to God. There are no coincidences.
I saw two leashed Corgi’s in the Courtyard of Windsor Castle, with a household uniformed staffer….!!!
She can’t be gone, I saw Corgis! (Yes, I know she is).
Her mare, Emma, stood by her groom on the long walk, amidst a sea of flowers, a solitary tribute…made me cry.
My British brethren have so deeply touched my heart…They so love their Queen.
Tomorrow, torches and pitchforks, LOL.
May God’s love shine upon the UK and their new King. May Elizabeth rest in peace.

Paxton Secures Major Victory for the Constitution, Free Speech Against Big Tech
AUSTIN –Attorney General Paxton has secured a major victory in the New Orleans-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on behalf of Texans and free speech advocates across the country. The Fifth Circuit reversed a federal district court’s ruling that blocked implementation of HB 20, a Texas law that prevents social media networks from censoring users based upon the viewpoint of their online postings. The law also creates multiple requirements for the platforms to disclose to the public how they operate and requires that users be provided with an internal process to complain about censorship decisions.
After the district court struck down HB 20, a Fifth Circuit panel removed the injunction in early May. The U.S. Supreme Court restored the injunction following an emergency motion and sent the case back to the Fifth Circuit.
“Big Tech’s reign of endless censorship and their suppression of conservative viewpoints is coming to an end,” said Attorney General Paxton. “These massive corporate entities cannot continue to go unchecked as they silence the voices of millions of Americans. HB 20 was designed to protect every Texan wanting to fully express his or her First Amendment rights, and the court made the right decision in upholding the law.”
In addressing some of the district court’s concerns, the Fifth Circuit defended the Texas law on constitutional grounds, noting that the First Amendment doesn’t allow platforms the “editorial discretion” to arbitrarily censor different viewpoints. The Court upheld the state’s authority to prevent discrimination on social platforms and further ruled that anti-censorship laws like HB 20 are consistent with the First Amendment because they regulate the company’s conduct, not their speech.
As the Court stated in its opinion: “The implications of the [Big Tech] platforms’ argument are staggering. On the platforms’ view, email providers, mobile phone companies, and banks could cancel the accounts of anyone who sends an email, makes a phone call, or spends money in support of a disfavored political party, candidate, or business. . . . Today we reject the idea that corporations have a freewheeling First Amendment right to censor what people say.”

Open thread, so I’m here with Rebel Yell on the rocks and mild low country Virginia tobacco in my corncob. Just back from weekly grocery run. bunches of radish and green onion used to be two for $1 now are $1.29 each bunch. Last year I could get what I needed for $200. same groceries now $300. Since I am feeling strange things about to happen I invested in happy times: rum; vodka; gin; bourbon. Also got professional haircuts first time since Jan 2020 when everything closed up and I look beautiful. Don’t know why I feel things are not right with the world but I’ve been here 81 years now and things are different. Didn’t care everything so high priced figure money the menu and wealth is the steaks.
An extension of the universal free school lunches that was started during COVID is being discussed for the continuing resolution of the budget. I expect the Dims to use any Republican objection as a campaign talking point. With groceries increasing so much, universal free school lunches should resonate.
