Formal Information on Events from UK Army – At the stroke of 2:22pm this afternoon, Her Majesty The Queen’s coffin was carried in procession on a gun carriage of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, where she will lie in state for four days ahead of her State Funeral on Monday 19 September 2022.
At 2:22pm on the dot, guns were fired from Hyde Park by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery – one round every minute for the duration of the procession, meaning approximately 38 rounds were fired. Leading the procession out of Buckingham Palace and along The Mall was the dismounted detachment of The Life Guards of the Household Cavalry, featuring more than 50 soldiers.
As Her Majesty arrived in Westminster, the coffin was carried in procession by a bearer party of The Queen’s Company 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards from the gun carriage and placed on a raised platform, known as a catafalque, into Westminster Hall.
After a short service, the captain of The Queen’s Company 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, assisted by a senior sergeant, laid The Queen’s Company Colour, the royal standard of the regiment, on the steps of the catafalque at the south end.
A continuous vigil will be kept by His Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms, assisted at times by The King’s Body Guard for Scotland (The Royal Company of Archers), The King’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard, assisted by The Body of Yeomen Warders of HM Tower of London, and by units of the Household Division.
Those units will include: The Household Cavalry, the Grenadier Guards, the Coldstream Guards, the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards. Each period of 24 hours will be divided into four watches. Except for the first and last, each of the 20 watches will last for 6 hours. Within each watch, a Vigil will last for 20 minutes.
I watched this at the Daily Mail live.
I’m not into any of it personally. The religion, the monarchy, etc.
But I absolutely respect, the respect, tradition and conservation of the heritage, methods and purpose.
I marveled at how the guards were so disciplined and methodical. Following codes and procedures from the ages.
It was comforting and soothing. Like going to Mass daily.
Exactly. Would America had such. We tout our “peaceful transfer of power” as if it’s some amazing cultural identity, and it is unusual on earth, but it is essentially a pause in political hostilities and lies and manipulations and the pause gets briefer every cycle. Just doesn’t compare to the British monarchy’s traditions. Rule Britannia.
Yes, no pause or peaceful transfer. Uniparty/Democrats did that. They will reap what they sow.
No, Non, Nyet, Nope… Britannia was run by a bunch of stuck up aristocrats and bureaucrats.
They all had a hair up their a&&&&. The American Revolution was a good thing, let’s hope we can keep it.
Good catch, I didn’t really give any thought to what ever else he was saying.
I was being complimentary and respectful.
Born in MA. My patriotism is just a given. Especially being school age in the 60’s and early 70’s. My field trips were just awesome. So much history and I enjoyed it.
” The British are coming”, wasn’t a dinner bell call.
Given the state of English cuisine where porridge is likely the heathiest…. “The British are coming” at dinner time would definitely not be a good thing to hear.
Then you got the Scots. Boiled entrails in some kind of wrap…. yikes.
I fear your knowledge if British eating may be a touch incorrect. Perhaps you should try some before opining.
Of not if.
Couldn’t agree more, made only one trip abroad to England & France in mid 90’s on an Antiquing tour. I had never heard anything about English food that sounding very appealing but found it exceptional, almost comparative to France!
I have.
That’s why I write what I wrote.
On my kitchen counter I have a fine jamon serrano on a stand. We also grow goya in our yard, buy hand made Meiji Tofu (from Gardena), eat platters of sashimi, fresh fruits, fine spanish embutidos, etc… we KNOW food.
English cuisine… Ay! It’s like asking Oliver Cromwell to run the Homeowner’s Association meetings.
My Irish Mother, fed us hot dog soup, fried bologna, and and delicious cucumber sandwiches.
Dad was 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Greek and there I learned the glory of good food.
Not that simple tonyE.
It’s already been lost
You will fully realize that in this coming November and the led up to it
Expect FBI at many a door
Tradition & heritage are the very essence of Citizenry. History is a great teacher, all of it.
These are the qualities that are being destroyed in the United States.
We were building our Country on similar respectful traditions.
A visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery illustrates such honor.
We had much to learn from, to preserve, respect & be thankful for, history that unified us as Citizens.
AMEN, Redblooded.
IF, EVERYONE had Traditions, by Learning them in school OR SERVICE – WE AS A NATION Would Be BETTER.
The DRAFT, Ensured that AT LEAST MOST of the Middle Class and Below Males HAD NATIONAL HONOR
and TRADITIONS DRILLED Into U.S. ( like It or Not )
” BREAK The TIE THAT BINDS ” Is the COMMUNIST Way to KILL a SOCIETY by Splintering it.
” CHAPEL or Shine Boots and Study ” ( NO RACK TIME ) – were the Sunday Morning Choices
Pip, Queen Elizabeth 2..
That was Western Civilization at its best.
I makes me think of Gin.
What’s with the color of that pavement? How come it’s tan, not the typical grey?
Honestly, too much pomp and too much circumstance… while real news are happening all over the place.
If you’re referring to the “Mall” (the area from Admiralty Arch leading up to Buckingham Palace)….it’s a weathered shade of red by tradition.
OK. We get it that you don’t like Britain so while you’re talking of American honor then remember the old adage “If you have nothing good to say at such times then be quiet”.
And what are you on this page for and watching a news clip of it “while real news is happening all over the world”?
News such as Biden shaking hands with thin air…again!
Oh if you’re talking about the sand colored road that’s because SAND was put down for when the horses came to a stop.
“In the name of God, Go!”
May she now rest in the Peace and in the Glory that she so richly earned, every day of her very long and very interesting life.
The world will never see the likes of her again.
She was truly “Great.” But she never demanded to be seen so. For “entire lives” including mine, The Queen was simply … “There. Always There.”
How so easily we all overlooked her. I guess that you really “don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone …”
I hope that Her Majesty, having finished a long, hot, and well-deserved shower or bubble bath, is now sitting down with her beloved Philip for a nice, delicious cup of afternoon tea . . . before saddling up the celestial horses for an evening ride among the clouds.
We will never forget you. Godspeed, and Thank You For Your Service.
Lovely imagery! Brought tears to my eyes.
W/her pups at her feet.
The world will not see her like again. RIP
Incredible.
Thank you for posting.
God Bless Queen Elizabeth
My mother is devastated. She loved the Queen. Charles has his work cut our for him, going to be interesting to watch him handle what’s coming. As Trump said to Harry “I wish him luck, he’s gonna need it”
He’s not up to the job
I’m sorry for the commenters here who don’t see this as the honoring of life and the Giver of life with all the color and glory and dignity that human beings can create. This woman was/is a child of God and has an immortal soul (just like you and me and all the commenters.) As such, she has a dignity beyond the value of any created thing on the planet (just like you and me and all the commenters.) She deserves this, and we deserve to be reminded of why they do it.
“The Queen™” is literally a person who gave her entire life, unselfishly, to the service of her country as she saw it. Although her role officially had become “purely symbolic.” Well, it turns out that “symbolic” still represents actual responsibility, and, actual power.
She did it. She simply did it. From the very darkest days of World War 2, when she was actually repairing machinery, right up until “two days before she died.” She did it. Every day.
And: “she always did it graciously.” With “pure class.” Amazing.
“We shall never see the likes of her again.”
So well said.
Queen Elizabeth never shirked from her promise to serve. She could not have foreseen family crises that would have tested the strongest persons, yet she remained the Queen, always.
She was true throughout her life to her commitment, & rare is the person who is.
I have some hard core family conservatives that are not particularly enthused with the monarchy, so I get it.
The Queen has been here for like, forever…imagining life without her? Yet, we go when called.
This is sort of like St. Patrick’s Day…on March 17, everybody is Irish…Right now, we sort of identify…She was someone’s mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt etc…the family lost a dearly loved one. She loved dogs and horses.
I was over at BBC for viewing, went back and forth from them to the Daily Mail…beautiful coverage…watching the Brits walk through, and do the Sign of the Cross…made me tear up a bit. The solemn faces and occasional tears…truly speaks to how well she was loved and honored. All afternoon, it was so quiet in the Great Hall, you could have heard a pin drop.
And the kindly looking old man using a walking stick and with his Jack Russell…am thinking that little dog might have been his ‘significant other’…no one else to go with him?
While many have a problem with the amount of time and money spent on the pageantry…it is history…and must not be erased.
So many traditions…from the State Imperial Crown, Orb and Scepter, the Crown of Scotland…to the Throne to be used for the Coronation of the new King, throne chair used for each coronation since 1274 I believe. It is part of British history…their history. We walked away.
And all the palaces and buildings that are almost older than dirt. Still standing…loving the not so simple gracious architecture of Westminster Abbey and the Great Hall.
We can go back to our torches and pitchfork politics next week.
There are those who are simply cruel and do not care. Then they are those who like to post nasty on threads such as this just for the “pleasure” of getting others riled up. Its best to ignore both.
Glenn Beck and Pat Gray were very funny today making fun of the coverage of all this; not of the queen but of the coverage. They were also gently asking how much all of this is costing. It was in the second half of the second hour, I think.
The Commonwealth, by way of Parliament, is paying for all of it. I imagine it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 million pounds.
Queen Elizabeth II deserves every pence and then some.
And we all know where the commonwealth gets it’s money from.
Is that the same Glen Beck who had orange chips on his face and who recently had someone else pick up the tab for his court case in return for stabbing Trump? Pot calling kettle black?
I don’t like Beck, he’s for sale, but what did he do to stab President Trump in the back?
Has anyone asked Beck or Pat to pay for it?
What a cheapskate to even mention something like that.
Better Beck asks about the $20 TRILLION gone down the toilet bowl in Afghanistan and all the lives lost than the cost of a state funeral. What a jerk.
did anybody else notice that the seven horses pulling the gun carriage seemed perhaps a little anxious? there are no photos of them, only one video showing them jumping around, only 3 horses had mounted riders in this video, and the 3 mounted riders were holding onto the reins of another horse without rider on their right, the other 4 unmounted riders walking beside their horse==I had expected to see seven beautiful disciplined horses with mounted riders leading the cortege, so I am wondering if the horses did not perform as expected?
“Horses are horses …”
Of course.
…my horse.
😉
Apparently the only petson who expects perfection from horses is yourself.
The people actually there had a plan to control them so there were no mishaps which involved not riding them while they pulled the coffin mounted on the gun carriage.
okay I accept your explanation thank you
Yes, I noticed. The one horse made me think something was pinching it, like the harness or something was not put on properly. I don’t know, but I feel sorry for it, clearly it was not happy about something. And the horses didn’t seem to like that dang clapping thing the Brits do.
if I were a horse I would sense that the entire crowd of humans was not happy about something
It was a rather beautiful sight to behold. Hubbs and I noticed it indeed.
These were he horses. Perhaps they sensed the loss
Maybe they sensed the sadness of the occasion
We have seen the last of Queen Elizabeth’s kind. She truly deserves every bit of the send off she is being given. How the Commonwealth is honoring the Queen is Western Civilization at its best.
The rest of us can honor the Queen and the values she represented by keeping a sense of humor, never complain, and never explain.
May a flight of angels send you to your rest, Your Majesty.
I was moved to tears as comforting words of scripture and The Lord’s Prayer were spoken, broadcast on (of all places) CNN. When was it last that I heard God’s Word spoken on main stream media?…I do not know. I wish that this portion of the ceremonies had been included here.
Here:
From someone in the comment thread….
“I read some where that the Queen said that She hoped that the Lord would return during her lifetime…when asked why, She replied…I should like to lay my Crown, down at His Feet”
Wow
I’m a proud American but my ancestors are British/Scottish. This made me proud as well
So are my relatives, both English, Scottish & Irish. My grandmother was all into the royal family. Not my dad (her son). He would have been one of those tyrants sent to Australia 😂
How long will our Bill of Rights lay in state?
Queen Elizabeth repeatedly is referred to a ‘Great’, which she was. I believe she was a great Queen because she served her subjects with humility. It was all about being a servant.
That’s why she has that title an not other current head of state does. The only other one in my opinion was President Trump. He served We The People. I can’t think of any others.
Well done, Queen Elizabeth II. You were faithful to your calling.
I love the English. The tradition here goes back centuries. It is a ritual to help the country bid farewell to one rule, in this instance, Elizabeth II, and then usher in King Charles. Repeated for generations, it gives some meaning and drama to what is a tragedy for us all. Death.
The English character is reflected here, in the solemn ritual. The precise order of the guard. The sentimental farewell.
I was watching part of the ceremony this morning.
Honestly, part of me was Jealous.
England has seemed try to learn from their history even if some of it does not reflect well on the country or its rulers.
RIP Queen Elizabeth
And a tiny bit more disrespect….
Harry and the quasi Kardashian holding hands in the funeral procession into the Great Hall.
The woman is a walking representation of “ClingWrap”.
LMAO!
” good shot – ACROSS The BOW ” ! Ad rem
I noticed. Everyone else walked with dignity. And alone. Not the time or place for hand-holding. Are they that insecure?
No decorum, no thought of others. They represent perfectly the me me (look at me), (see how we’re feeling) generation. I’m sure they’re waiting anxiously for the press story of how sweet and sympathetic they looked holding hands in the funeral procession. Neither of them gave a damn about her when she was alive.
Sad, it’s obvious they didn’t care much about her with all they put her through the last few years. Very disappointed to hear Andrew and Harry will be able to wear their military uniforms tonight. Neither are being paid for performing royal duties. Andrew lost the privilege to wear his uniform due to bad personal decisions and Harry decided me again, money and Malibu was his cup of tea. Was hoping King Charles would stand firm, hope this is not indicative of what’s to come.
Harry was also reading whatever the paper had to say, reminded me of Bush’s funeral.
I wondered if anyone else notice that, They did just so it would be talked about. those two just can’t help drawing attention to themselves.
That’s the British for you. Stand at attention till you collapse.
Defeating the purpose.
😏
I watched it on Sky and it was very moving. The music for the funeral march was very Beethovenish, especially with those guns booming and Big Ben tolling.
The choir which performed without accompaniment
sang beautifully with the small lads sopranos soaring angelically through Westminster hall.
The commenters said the Queen chose the music.
All performed live without Autotune.
I imagine anyone who loves history would be entranced seeing many ancient traditions being performed and filmed for the first time, including those of Christianity, would surely have been entranced as I was.
Psalm 139, chanted. And “Jesus, the very thought of thee” (with sweetness fills my breast).
My ancestors were British and Scottish. The sweet reverence bestowed on this great woman is so rightly deserved. Very few arise to what is bestowed on them. Rest in peace Queen of so many..
Putting a corpse/casket on display for 4 days seems twisted to me.
It’s the only way the people can pay their respects.
When you have millions of mourners, and thousands of guests flying in from all over the world to prepare for, you need some time.
Closed casket.
Exactly, There is no corpse on display.
Gina.is.here seems like just another attention seeker, even her name says it all. “Here I am” look at me.
When people can show no respect for others they are really displaying their own lack of self respect.
Stop showing your ignorance of history and protocol.
You are only embarrassing yourself.
Try reading a bit more to broaden your mind.
I too like posters here have been watching all the ceremonies, processions, services given in honor & respect for Queen Elizabeth ll life of service to GB & the Commonwealth. Whether you agree with monarchies or not I am so moved emotionally watching history unfold day by day.
Watching the pageantry, stoic soldiers & guards, procession of the Queen’s coffin is something I probably will not see ever see again as I am “older”.
I don’t have any British heritage but I have been a follower of British history since I saw Queen Elizabeth crowned – watching on black & white Tv in 1953.
God Bless Queen Elizabeth as she is reunited with Prince Phillip in heaven.
God save King George lll
Fittingly respectful & dignified memorial to
Her Majesty, who served the United Kingdom with like qualities.
RIP
The music, as always with British choirs, is excellent. Its message more do: the choir (I’m assuming the Westminster Abbey choir) chanted Psalm 139. (My favorite psalm, which my husband and I used at our wedding.) Look it up. It’s astonishing.
I am not looking forward to her funeral, which we will get up early to watch. But I am anticipating that the choirs will deliver, as they always do, the most wonderful selection of hymns and psalms, all of which would have been selected by the Queen.
On Christmas Eve, you should look for Carols from Kings. The service takes place at 5 pm their time, but we always watch it in the twilight here.
It is a most moving service, and of course the choirs are superb. If anything delivers the spirit and peace of Christmas, this is it.
We access it through Britbox, but I’m sure it would be available on Youtube through streaming, the same as all the obsequies this week have been
And like you, I am also a lover of Bach.
Yes we have BritBox too
I love that GB still honors and makes great effots with their choirs
Always lovely
I listen to those little boys with their soprano voices and lose my heart. Perfection.
I have much of the music, my mothers music. She sang in 5 choirs and did many funerals as well
I will sing along and most probably sob a lot too
It’s hard not to sob a little, Rosemary. I have been watching all week as I have a British husband and we lived there for so long. I find myself with unexpected tears. We knew she was frail and anticipated this but so quickly did it happen, it’s still a difficult thing to adjust to. But adjust we will. Stiff upper lip and all that…
Betsy, I too was married to a Brit (Londoner, Enfield) and lived there for 10 years. I am right there with you. Stiff upper lip indeed.
I also expect the funeral music will be superb. Also love the King’s carols. We listen to the Lessons & Carols from The King’s College, Cambridge, every Christmas Eve. The fine arts FM station in Chicago (I live in Indiana) broadcasts it live, which is mid-morning, Central time. When we lived NY State, the regional PBS station there also broadcast it live. / But you can’t beat Bach! 🙂 Are you familiar with his Christmas Oratorio?
One of my absolute favourites! Christmas is not Christmas without it. The Pastoral within it is achingly beautiful.
Also Sirius XM has a channel called “Holiday Pops”, a misnomer if ever there was one.
Every year starting at around the end of October (last year anyway), they play Christmas music from around the world from composers you would be familiar with…right through Christmas. Bach cantatas and his oratorio included. And pieces from composers i was unfamiliar with. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Once I find it it stays on through the season, so if you have a subscription, I hope you’ll look it up. That channel absolutely makes my Christmas.
We have Britbox also. It is excellent.
It is. And Acorn. The Queen’s funeral will, as I believe, be televised through Britbox if you are interested in seeing it on Monday. It will begin around 9 am in the UK with the arrival of all the dignitaries. Where we are in Texas that’s a 6 hour difference. So we will get up and watch every second of it. It is history.
It was so beautifully done. We could still not take in that she is gone. The only stable thing about Britain over the many decades she was Queen.
Every detail, including her coffin, was selected by her long ago. That this, in spite of those plans being secured, could have been executed in such a relative hurry, merely attests to the British doing what the British do best.
Tradition and the reverence for it is something which must not be lost. As this world spins out of control and as we lose everything that is decent and right, the ceremonies today gave me great hope that all is not yet lost.
Yes, Betsy: the very definition of “conservative” is both the reverence and the perpetuation of noble tradition, the very best of ourselves, in a manner of speaking.
Let the dross be lost in the sands of time. But let the honorable, the pure, the beautiful, truthful and worthy of praise live on forever to nurture the souls of men.
The choir was magnificent; I seem to have heard that particular arrangement of Ps. 139 sometime, a long time ago; I think it was on a cassette tape I used to play in my car on long drives.
Harriet, music sustains me. And this music in particular. One can, I think, always know (if not seen) when a British choir is singing. There is just something about their tone that tells me so.
I don’t know if you saw Philip’s funeral, but there were four voices singing of such purity in the vestibule that I could have wept.
And as you feel about conserving all that is best of ourselves, so do I. There are those who see no value in traditions. I’ve read the comments. And it is tremendously saddening. But traditions are our history which we can’t allow to be obliterated. What a drear, hopeless world it would be if those of us who value them allowed their demise. So I was comforted by seeing the tens of thousands of Britons from all walks of life turn out to pay their respects, and to appreciate what they as a country still revere. Their monarchy affords them that gift, and it looked as if they all realized what they have.
The music is one of the standard Anglican chants(Anglican chant is always in your apart harmony) used for the psalms.
Do not put hope in the present Royals, a bunch a losers unfortunately
Not in the royals, Gonzotx, who have no say in the running of the country…but in the institution of the monarchy.
Whoever wears the crown is not the issue. It is the carrying on of their history, the refusal to (horrid word) “cancel” it and thus deny what that country is and their past.
That is the point that so many non Brits do not understand, especially here in America. They think it is about the person.
It is not. Once that is understood, then an appreciation for what is happening now should follow.
YES indeed, “Nobody Does It Better” (James Bond theme song). I too was married to a Brit and lived in England (Enfield) for ten years and now reside in Texas. Perhaps in the hereafter we could have high tea and share our experiences, though am certain you held a loftier level. Warmest regards and again thank you for your insightful posts. We shall sorely miss Her Majesty. I fervently pray King Charles III shall follow her flawless role.
…her flawless “model”.
Thank you for posting this.
I am so happy for them it didn’t rain. I hope the family is holding up, I cannot imagine their schedule, having to cope w/everything and so many plans, plus knowing millions of people are watching. History in the moment and we get to witness it. It is hard to believe The Queen has passed, she has always been there.
Yes ! That is It , LMGA !
Queen Elizabeth ll has
Always Been There !
You put into words what I struggled to say .
Thank You 😊
I read somewhere that the Queen’s coffin is made of lead and that is why they needed 8 instead of 6 to carry it. I was worried about the young man yesterday, I was sure he was going to make it.
Interestingly, The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery
was called by that name even through QE2’s reign.
They operate old style artillery and the gun carriages and I thank Sundance for including the vids, description and link regarding The King’s Troop.
I don’t think anything is wrong with me if I don’t give a hoot about the British Monarchy and the
Queen passing No one celebrated my Mom when she passed at the age of 93, or her sister my Aunt for that matter on the very same day on the calendar.
Whatever. I am very glad I bear NO resemblance to King Charles. Neither he or his Mother ever had to find or grow food, let alone to cook their own meals. Have never dusted a house, washed a floor, or would be flummoxed if required to do ANYTHING TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVEDS.
The words I just wrote could be applied to many in the world these days. But spare me the WORSHIP stuff. My Mom wore flour sacks to school. I could not make this up if I tried to.
And verily, I don’t think the benefactor’s of this Universe we live in hold the recently deceased Queen as more special than ANYONE in my family that has passed.
Hopefully the POMP and CIRCUMSTANCE routine will be behind us anon. It’s all so ridiculous and moronic to me. My bad I don’t worship Royalty is my bad. NOT.
The royal family has a different function in life to your family.
The ‘Parliamentary Monarchy’ is beyond the understanding of Americans.
QE2 was a mechanic and drove trucks in WW2. Clearly you have no idea about the woman.
Having an interest in the passing of a national head of state who served her nation for 70 years is not worship.
She was one of the Greatest Generation. Tough, funny, practical, and faithful.
I will miss just knowing that it is she there and not WEF Greenaholic cray-cray Charlie3.
LOL … “cray-cray” sums him up!
Grow up you pompous bore.
Your mother had family to celebrate her life didn’t she?
This was a Head of State.
My late dad walked to school in old Ireland with no shoes on his feet but if he were alive today he would have watched the Queen’s funeral and say “May she rest in peace” even though he was Irish.
Stop making everything about YOU…that is the definition of a bore!
Then why are you on this thread … I am not a Royal follower – but this is history … a young lady became Queen 70yrs ago when the King died suddenly … now she’s dead … A King will take the throne … it’s infesting … I’ve watched a little bit … she lived a long and successful life as Monarch – despite many family issues – including the new King … and the American embarrassment of the affirmative action, entitled quota clown who deserved to be totally snubbed – but wasn’t out of respect for the Queen … her British Subjects LOVE her.
And I love President Trump and MAGA!
I’ll give QE credit for holding onto the crown until her death so that idiot son of hers wouldn’t be king. Should be more fun than a Benny Hill episode watching this twit do a parody of a king.
You will come to understand that Anne is the best queen the Commonwealth never had.
Charles is a global warming fanatic and essentially wants to reduce the standard of living of the proles to stroke his green prejudices.
Maybe he can start by downsizing the castles, no jets or yachts
Only after Hollywood and all liberal millionaires and billionaires do first … the Castle has a purpose … the jet-setters don’t.
Anne has been a rock – she has been at her mother’s side continuously over the last week.
Would that she were Queen instead of Charles.
It is obvious Anne is truly grieving … as I said above, I don’t follow Royals, other than the occasional sensational headline, but your comment will make me pay attention to Anne.
The Greenie-Weenie will be a problem – especially if Anne is the strength and King3 ignores her.
Won’t be flying my flag at half staff .
AS You SHOULD NOT ! Unless Your a SUBJECT of The Crown.
And
EVEN THEN The United States Ensign SHOULD BE ABOVE The Union Jack on Your Flag pole as HONORS to
YOUR HOST COUNTRY.

I have to say , over all the years of my life , 👑Queen Elizabeth ll is the One Person I have Admired from Afar and I Never Stopped Admiring and Loving Her 😍
really going to miss her
With the lovely Queen Elizabeth passage, I do not believe the Royalty will survive
Bunch of whining, self absorbed people
Some, undoubtedly (perhaps most), but there is a core there that still adheres to the same principles as their Queen.
I think of Anne in particular
Anne does seem overlooked in the crowd and yet she is solid. It is possible Charles will rise to the occasion, but he does not look so healthy to me at 73. Plus, he has had some really embarrassing moments in his life mostly involving his marriage to Diana.
You know, he seems a bit dorky and all his life it has been “Yes sir” “No sir” for no reason except his birthright. Let’s see how he does.
Hopefully, he won’t make the news by lecturing us all on climate change and will remain neutral, as his mother’s example taught him best. The new PM wants to frack for oil and the PM really is in charge. If he lets her run things and just keeps quiet about it, it may save the English.
Not for the first time when you look at the history of British monarchs.
I for one think the Brits will finally get the King they deserve as he seems to agree they should give their country over to Muslims and relinguish what few freedoms they have left to a World Government (communist) using the globull warming scam to accomplish it.
LOVE how Megs/Harry/Andrew have been SHUT down and SHUT OUT.
No unis’ for those that tarnished the monarchy.
Megs put in her place by Queen Granny months and months ago. Suspect NOT the 1st gold digger she had seen or met and her antenna went up quick & fast. Megs didn’t get ‘the royal treatment’ so she trashes them and Harry joins in and supports. Queen says, good-bye titles, $$$ and platform.
Same for Andrew, soon to be banished and needs to. Choice to be an Epstein-buddy. HE had a family; girls at that…
Charles WILL NEVER be the king his Mother was as Queen. TOO far left.
I suspect Wm will end up being more like Queen than anyone.
Like many of the ruling class/corporist trendoids, Charles believes you are a dumb rube who can’t help it or immoral if you aren’t a green global warmist and resetter.
WANT to KNOW what Megs/Harry are about: READ BELOW….ALL about them and their wants, needs and expectations. GIve me, give me, give me….SINCE Queen died, THEIR charge has been royal titles…….relentless since her death…seems THE only reason they are their is TO GET SOMETHING…..
But a report claims that following tense talks between the new King over recent days, the Sussexes have been left ‘furious’ that their children will not also get HRH titles.
‘There have been a lot of talks over the past week. They have been insistent that Archie and Lilibet are prince and princess. They have been relentless since the Queen died.
‘But they have been left furious that Archie and Lilibet cannot take the title HRH. That is the agreement — they can be prince and princess but not HRH because they are not working royals.’
If that’s true, kudos to King Charles. The gold digger needs to be shut out. The king does NOT have to give them the title of prince/princess. Perhaps Charles sensed his mother was going downhill & resent the stress the Queen had to go through
I might add if I were King Charles I would request Harry take a DNA test. Just saying ………
A tribute to QEII in Sydney.
Wonderful lady. The way, among others her whole life, she disowned Andrew said volumes.
Nobody does tradition and pageantry like the Brits.
NOBODY does state funerals better than the British!
What is this fascination with unelected titular heads of state? I’m even less interested in them than I am in politicians.
I agree, after reading the comments on this page I better understand why we are in the current mess. Quite bizarre the way people idolise certain members of the royal family believing they actually know the real person, rather than what is presented to them. Manipulated by the media & govt once again.
Given the ‘white man bad’ theme in the UK I’m not sure the diversity quota has been met during any of the ceremonies & processions. (Sarc)
I arrived in England the day before the Queen died, on a long-planned trip, and will arrive in London the day before her funeral. The processions are incredibly moving, especially the one described above, and especially when watched in their entirety. I hope to join the queue filing past her casket to pay my respects to a very great lady and fellow Christian, whom I have loved and revered since seeing her coronation on television at six years of age. It is an incredible privilege to be in England at this historic time.
The lady did her job.
Hope her son straightens out and does half as well.
She is a Slave Master and has some Plans for you:
What a lovely lady, sorry for Britain’s loss
Is Weatminster Hall Westminster Abbey?
