That said, I worked with lawyers for over 25 years and I can tell you that after 5-7 years of reviewing their pleadings and other correspondence, sitting in on depositions, and going to court, I knew more than most any lawyer my company hired regardless of their age or law school (our HR loved Harvard grads (the worst, arrogant lawyers hated by juries and judges), followed by Yale (weak, spineless types), Columbia (average), Cardozo (quite OK), NYU (not bad, quite good actually), and Georgetown (the only two I met were abject failures)).
