Go on a big trip for work and everything has changed in mere days…the usual I guess. Fauci out. Well mostly Fauci out.
I haven’t even had enough time to process the news over the past few days (going hotel to hotel like that leaves you a bit drained), but I hope everyone is doing well, considering the way things are.
As soon as Trump tosses his hat in the ring, let me know, so I can support him. Until then…well we really haven’t hope do we?
IMO, the mission is to support patriots and MAGA and PDJT as his intentions become clear. Examine each day and decide what one can do to support the mission.

There are races currently running that make a big difference. In our state we are behind the Republican U S Senate candidate, the Republican governor candidate, working on getting our conservative candidates into the state legislature. We have a good candidate for Secretary of the State and I just spoke with the excellent candidates for Attorney General and Treasurer.
My point is there is much to do to help them get elected. They need volunteers. Electing well vetted candidates from your state and local candidates will make a difference. It’s beginning to add up.

There is no legal precedent that any Administration has the authority to do any such thing. And it would be disastrous if it was.
No President could do his duty to the nation if he feared that whatever he said might be publicly disclosed the next time the political winds blew the other way. There are work-products intrinsic to his unique Role that must never be disclosed, for legitimate national-security reasons as well as personal reasons.
Diplomats and heads-of-state likewise could not operate if they feared that what they discussed with the President “in confidence” might one day become “front-page news.” International diplomacy would become impossible.
(This is also why the President, alone, has “plenary” powers of information classification and declassification.)
The concept of “executive privilege” is a legal recognition that the Role of the Office of the President is unique. And so, that what derives from it must receive special, “privileged,” protection. Forever.

The plenary, Constitutional authority over classification/ declassification derives NOT from Executive Priviledge, but from his authority as Commander in Chief.
Ultimately, POTUS has absolute authority over any issue related to National Security. As classifying/declassifying documents is directly related to National Security, he is the ultimate arbirter of what is or isn’t classified.
So, two seperate Constitutional issues, Executive Priviledge AND Presidential authority to declassify.
Throw in clear 4th amendment issues, and it seems like this case is one that SHOULD qualify for “fast track” directly to SCOTUS.

Her ruling was that it is totally up to a former Presidents discretion to detirmine what documents are “his” and what are Government documents.

He was livid because he has his own servers and does have back ups but the doomsday people managed to interrupt the flow of Lindell’s conference and are still causing problems. He was very upset.

I think nouns becoming verbs is a bit beyond my personal control. It rarely bothers me. Also, once a brand name becomes typical enough, it can become linguistic shorthand. I’ll say, “I need a Kleenex!”, even though I rarely buy that brand. Everyone says “videos”, though these days there is often no connection to videotape recording or cathode ray tube imaging. A large percentage of people get their health care exclusively from Nurse Practitioners and PAs, who are definitely NOT doctors. What do we call it? “Going to the doctor.”

The RNC is a private club. At the republican convention, the party could reject Trumps delegates and nominate someone else to run as the republican. This would leave President Trump only two choices, except it and don’t run or run as an Independent.
If the RNC was to reject Trump as their nominee, I would hope Trump would run as an Indy. I certainly hope that President Trump has this scenario planned out.

It would appear that the Mar-a-Lago break in by the FBI represents a cleanup operation to remove copies of Crossfire Hurricane documents and more. In addition to this, FBI/DOJ refused to follow President Trump’s executive orders on two different occasions, first in 2018 and again in 2021, to declassify and release documents on Crossfire Hurricane.
The Crossfire Hurricane documents reveal that the Russia story was a hoax starting in July 2016 by a double agent working for the FBI and CIA at the same time. This information would prove that every action after this date taken by the FBI/DOJ/CIA was tainted. Just think about all of those lies, money and people involved.

Not entirely correct … President Trump actually declassified documents and materials. The disobedience came when the documents he ordered “RELEASED” were not released. Rick Grinell verified this was the case during an interview about 2-weeks ago.
President Trump, unfortunately trusted AG Bondo Barr, as part of a 2-step process he agreed to establish to release documents related to 2016 and Russia-Russia.
First Step: President Trump declassified materials.
Second Step: AG Bondo Barr was supposed to coordinate the review and release of materials.
President Trump even went so far as to delegate declassification authority to Bondo Barr if additional declassification was required.
Towards the end as it became clear Bondo Barr had no intention of releasing anything, the president did order the RELEASE of Materials based on inputs from Grinell and other’s who were close to the President.
All along from 2018 forward, President Trump either declassified materials for release pending review or authorized reviewers to declassify materials. Declassification was not the hold-up. The reviewers betrayed President Trump with their “findings” and towards the end “disobeyed” when the President declassified materials and ordered release.
Yep, Branch 4 declined to cooperate; I remember that well. I opined at the time PDJT should call meetings/briefings with the requisite documents provided for the meeting support, then keep them. Push Branch 4 to more blatant insubordination/defiance.

Haul that SOB Fauci in front of congress and ask him pointedly why aren’t we seeing super-spreader events all over the place. Not a damn thing has changed since the arrival of covid, its still here, its still contagious and it can still make folks sick, yet our society is wide friggin’ open folks living their good and social lives and yet not covid super spreading. The State of California actually paid Holder and Obama for services as liaisons and advisors with respect to California’s dealings with the 9th Circuit. Holder and Obama actually bragged about their relationships with members of the various circuit courts.

DoJ can “submit, suggest or recommend ” redactions and has to defend (justify) their recommended redactions but the Magistrate or Judge makes the final decision.

The sentence includes a jail term of five days, but not really. The presiding judge gave Pelosi credit for four days. Two of those days were “actual time served”, and two were for “conduct credits”.
In California, there is an automatic reduction for misdemeanor sentences which cuts them in half. How are the two days calculated? Pelosi was arrested and taken to jail before midnight. Those few minutes are credited as a “day” in custody. Once he was released the next morning, he was credited with another day.
The “fifth” day will be spent in an 8-hour work program. Meaning – he will likely show up somewhere and read a book. So, other than spending a single night in a cell Pelosi will spend no time in an actual cell for nearly killing someone while he was drunk.
The rest of his sentence includes engaging in a three-month drunk driving program and one year with an ignition interlock device. He got three years probation and he must pay restitution. Raise your glass, Paul. Sweet deal.

On the heels of this report I went to vote this morning (Florida). I live in a small rural town with 3 red lights and approximately 10k registered voters. This is what happened.
While the poll worker was waving it around the first time I looked at it and the circles were not properly printed on ballot. I tried to explain this to the idiots but by then we had become “domestic suspects”.
I came home and called the election supervisor. His assistant said she would have him return my call. She hung up but her phone never disconnected!!! I listened to 15 minutes of her speaking to other callers before she realized phone was off hook.
Yes it was a landline. Yes the county is blue.
No edit button…to correct 10k registered voters in the entire county.
Today, in Miami, for the first time that I’ve ever heard, they told me that I would be allowed up to 3 ballots in case of any error. Weird.

It would mean that no president could ever speak with confidence without knowing two years from now or three years from now all of it will be revealed by the current president. Refusing to follow orders does not stop the declassification. The orders are for production of declassified material for public consumption. It was declassified because he said so. It was not processed for publication to the public because they refused to do their jobs. Those are two separate things. The elected executive leader CAN NOT be usurped by unelected government employees. That is of course what we are seeing but on a factual legal precedent the courts have ruled on this matter in the past.

That said, does that not mean that what cost $100 dollars before now costs $470? Or almost five times as much? Asking for a friend.
Let me teach you. If you want to find the percentage of a number. Take that percentage and move the decimal to the left two digits. So for 370%, that movement of the decimal point twice to the left would be 4.70, so now multiply $100 x 4.70 = 470, same as 50% of 100 is 100 x .50 = 50
Also if you want to know what the percentage of a decimal is, just move the decimal two places to the right. So .50 in decimal form is 50% in percentage
