Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Caturday the 13th … talk about a close call.

😂😂😂
Is it possible to be able to plug you into the sound system in my company van so I can have well-catered music for hundreds of miles? I mean, as long as you don’t mind holding the fries for me from the various fast food restaurants, you can sit in the passenger seat.
🙂
I link into “classic vinyl” with my phone and listen to great music on my big trucks speaker system sometimes.
Howdy Garrison 🙂
Jo, Jay! 🙂
Good morning, Garrison.😘
Oh how I needed these this morning. How we all need the beauty of Bach, who composed for God. There is none better to magnify Bach’s works to the Glory that is God as this Bach Society. Bless you, my friend🙏…and thank you.
Mornin’ Bet! Blessings to you too, love. 🙂
Thank you, sir.😊
Good morning Bet, Garrison, jay, rah, and Keln. Another busy day here behind, catching a little break before having dinner with my stepdad’s brother and his family. It will include some adult beverage but the stuff is almost mandatory here, esp. for us “growed up” folks. Oh well, someone has to do all the hard work. 😂
Great thing is that we got all of the stuff done, with one last thing left for Monday morning.
I think I’ll smoke a brisket when I get home, the good Lord willing.
Blessings, y’all!
Nice!!!! What a shame about that mandatory beverage thing…too bad😉 So guess you won’t need to take a detour to an Irish pub before you return. Never mind. Smoked brisket is way more urgent.
Almost done…Hurry back😍
LOL! Good thing during the day I drive around so I have an excuse not to participate in any libations.
Actually, there is an Irish pub here but have to stay with the local stuff. They make some really good wine and beer, and have a variety of non-alcoholic brews which have gotten quite good over the years. The natives name for it is “driver’s beer.” 😁❤️
Driver’s beer?!😂😂😂 ugh…But I guess when in “Rome”….😊
Morning Ya’ll 🙂
Morning, Mr jay🤗. Love Rodney Crowell , especially when he teams up with Emmy Lou. Blessings to you, sir.🙏
Oh I have just returned from doing exactly that! Feed, back in for a sip of tea, back out for the morning brush, back in for another sip of (now colder) tea…and from the sounds of it, I am being summoned again. So I must attend…💖
I met Marty Stuart recently. We happened to be waiting for our wives in the same small, almost empty waiting area. I recognized him, but did not want to invade his privacy. When he got up to leave, he spoke to me instead and was quite gracious and friendly. I would have liked a longer visit.
That’s pretty cool.
I’d think he appreciated that you gave him space, and was happy to speak to you as he left.
Uh oh…sorry, Mr jay… I meant that for Garrison’s “pet your kitties”… it was earl when I posted😬
Hmmm me thinks I’ll get Betsy’s feeder next 😉
Ha!! A wise wise chappy!😁
He and his band are up in the NW quite often and they put on a great show, well worth taking in. 😉
My daughter met Jerry Rice much the same way. They both were awaiting a flight and she was the only one to respect his privacy. He approached her and asked if she would sit with him in the flight. She said they chatted about everything except football. He too was gracious and an all around nice man.
It’s Caterday Treepers. Enjoy the day. Pet your kitties for me!
We called it “making mittens.”
In the South, we call it “making biscuits”.
Oh yes we do!!😂
Yes we do!
My daughter grew up and moved out a few years ago but I still send her videos of our big ol’ fluffy Maine Coon (20 pound cat) “makin’ biscuits”.
Bet they were great big ones!
Garrison, I misposted above. Meant for you actually. Instead I left it up top with Mr jay.
Too early for me when I haven’t imbibed my first cuppa. Moved on to coffee so strong it would probably show up on a drug test.
🤣
Gooood mornin, Betsy ❣️
-🫖
Oh goody. I get to deliver a second good morning to you and Ma, Patience…and the day just got better😊
😎😋
That’s GREAT!
Thanks for posting it.
Sent it to my daughter!
I’m Angry (not really), Irish, and been drinkin’. Ask me anything! (except naughty stuff, I have standards)
Ezra Brooks. Cheap. Good sippin’ whisky . . .
Lol! I call it “Old Ezekiel”, mostly because I accidentally called it Ezekiel Brooks once and a coworker got all mad about me calling it that, so I obviously (being me) continued calling it Ezekiel.
And it’s not just “cheap whiskey”. It’s cheap bourbon. It’s literally just as good as Maker’s Mark, but costs half as much. It’s aged and delicious. It’s a real sin it doesn’t have the reputation it deserves, but at the same time, I can’t always afford a bottle of Woodford or Knobbs.
Although, I would say Evans has stepped their game up the past few years and can be about as good as the old Ezra. Between the two, I’d still get Ezra.
🙂 You are a man of epicurean good taste.
Well I have no idea what that means (of course I do), but my hobbies include drinking bourbon, playing the banjo, singing, and chefing.
I’d say “cooking” but I think I passed that stage a long time ago considering the ridiculous things I’ve pulled off in a kitchen.
I used to like Weller’s but you can’t find it anymore and it got ridiculously expensive.
That’s Weller, my bad.
So is Jim Beam. It has a nice flavor, mixes great with Coke.
Haven’t had any bourbon in a while; I prefer Samuel Adams dark ale on the hot summer days.
No beer today; gotta work tonite. Got the coffee pot set up.
If we’re being honest, I drink more coffee than any other liquid besides water. I love coffee so much.
I am really afraid tonight – for my country, my family and friends, and myself. I don’t want to live in fear of my government. I don’t want to have to ever blow away persons on my porch who have come to ransack my home and harm my family – but I would. What kind of country are we living in now?! I’m just sick at heart!
Turn to the Lord Jesus. He is our hope, our strength, our protection, and so much more, He will never leave us or forsake us. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Just read Luke 12 NIV. Sooo good. I am uplifted, warned (in a positive way) and equipped. God Is Good!
Even though we are exhorted to not fear, Rileytrips, we have never faced a government ment…our government…which has put a match to everything we hold dear. And I am afraid as well.
“To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them shall make haste.”
Deuteronomy 32:35
Just out of curiosity, is gaslighting cheaper than electric?
It used to be, mom retired from the local gas company, that was their sales pitch (vs incandescent).
With LED lighting nowadays probably not, certainly not with the doubling of my gas bill starting in October of last year, electric doubled too.

OK, I’ll share some music instead of just commenting on it.
To me, this is the most beautiful piece of music ever constructed by humans. There is something about it that just speaks to the soul. I dunno what it is. Beethoven was obviously gifted, but this piece was…incredible. On a piano no less. Not really the best instrument for jerking emotions. But this one is beyond beautiful, even played mostly in flats and sharps and the like.
Also can’t forget the classical piece heard in every elevator in Europe.
Vivaldi’s 4 Seasons was masterful, but Winter is easily my favorite. It’s actually a bit sad that Europeans made it elevator music. Even trying to play some of the bits on a violin is near impossible unless you are a literal violinist. The guy was way, way ahead of his time and of course was seen as an upstart because of it. It’s funny to me that “rich” hotels and the like always play Vivaldi, but he was considered a bit of a scallywag in his time and was never rich. Nobody really knew who he was until a couple hundred years after he died, his biggest claim to fame was “musical leader” of an orphanage, and he had an archbishop that hated his guts and made sure he never amounted to anything. Most of his works are lost to time.
Damned shame really. The guy was a genius.
Gots to liven things up a bit…
This conductor is a genius…really plays to the audience!
And the multi talented multi tasking Dutchman, not to be confused with our Dutchman, LOL..
Aggiegirl!! Any updates on your adoption process??? Was thinking about it last night and swore the next time I saw you I’d ask🙏
I’ve seen this before. I love the whole attitude of the conductor “This is a March people! Wake up!”.
Ok this one too, I swear it’s the last one.
Not really into country music, I’m a bluegrass guy, but this song is beautiful and so right. Reba is a good singer and this one really hammers home an important message. All the crap we’re going through all of the time…God can deal with it.
I always love listening to Reba. And agree this one does have an important message.
Glad you shared it. It is definitely fitting as a reminder.

“Do Not Quench the Spirit”
Do not quench the Spirit. —1 Thessalonians 5:19
The voice of the Spirit of God is as gentle as a summer breeze— so gentle that unless you are living in complete fellowship and oneness with God, you will never hear it. The sense of warning and restraint that the Spirit gives comes to us in the most amazingly gentle ways. And if you are not sensitive enough to detect His voice, you will quench it, and your spiritual life will be impaired. This sense of restraint will always come as a “still small voice” (1 Kings 19:12), so faint that no one except a saint of God will notice it.
Beware if in sharing your personal testimony you continually have to look back, saying, “Once, a number of years ago, I was saved.” If you have put your “hand to the plow” and are walking in the light, there is no “looking back”— the past is instilled into the present wonder of fellowship and oneness with God (Luke 9:62 ; also see 1 John 1:6-7). If you get out of the light, you become a sentimental Christian, and live only on your memories, and your testimony will have a hard metallic ring to it. Beware of trying to cover up your present refusal to “walk in the light” by recalling your past experiences when you did “walk in the light” (1 John 1:7). When-ever the Spirit gives you that sense of restraint, call a halt and make things right, or else you will go on quenching and grieving Him without even knowing it.
Suppose God brings you to a crisis and you almost endure it, but not completely. He will engineer the crisis again, but this time some of the intensity will be lost. You will have less discernment and more humiliation at having disobeyed. If you continue to grieve His Spirit, there will come a time when that crisis cannot be repeated, because you have totally quenched Him. But if you will go on through the crisis, your life will become a hymn of praise to God. Never become attached to anything that continues to hurt God. For you to be free of it, God must be allowed to hurt whatever it may be.
WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
The life of Abraham is an illustration of two things: of unreserved surrender to God, and of God’s complete possession of a child of His for His own highest end.
I reject most of everything you are saying, and your entire purpose in saying it. It’s a back-handed way to tell Christians they aren’t really Christians. To instill doubt in their hearts. It’s evil is what it is. Selected text to tell people that if they aren’t having certain experiences every day, they are somehow falling short of God’s promises. This is pure evil. This is exactly what Satan tries to do to us constantly.
No, the Spirit isn’t merely a “gentle breeze”. The Spirit of God can sometimes be a raging storm. We can be coaxed into our belief in God or sometimes jerked by the neck into it (as I was). Not having daily experiences is nothing. The point, dear Satan, is that we always know what God promises us is real and true and what you say is a load of crap.
You liar. Go away from us. We love each other and we love God and we fully believe in his promises and nothing you do or say is going to change that. No doubts in our hearts. Find another crowd to mess with. And frankly, the idea that God sits around “engineering crises” as you put it, like testing Job (which was the Devil’s idea, not God’s) is hilarious. God doesn’t do that. He promised peace, love, and understanding and an end to the garbage you throw at us Devil.
This isn’t “wisdom” from anyone. This entire post is evil. A creeping way of cutting at hearts. Reject it.
My dear Keln, Feral is as solid a Christian poster here as any, I fear that in your present state of enthusiasm (nothing fundamentally wrong with it) one may often find a heightened “awareness” to defend. Relax, breathe, this is a marathon, not a sprint. All of us will face hard and difficult moments and times. These are tests, these are part of our cleansing, our “education” to really come closer. I often find issue, even disagreement with “highly” respected religious men, but I always try my best to look deeper into the will, the intent, the “good” of the content and try to “lift” any and all wisdom it may contain. Remember, all good is from God, it is our task to always look for the good. As the verse is saying – Look for my face always.
Not my best phrasing, and obviously I didn’t mean Feral is satan or something, I just sort of rolled into yelling at satan for sticking his finger into messages and this sort of thing really hits close to home for me. God is not the architect of strife. Sure, He allows it because there are real negative consequences by directly intervening in every bad thing that can happen which totally undermine individual agency, and this whole life is itself a crucible. But he isn’t making it happen. He’s not trying to give people pain to see if they somehow measure up. That’s not the message Christ came to us with.
And when people try to preach those things, they’re really driving people away. What’s the number one reason why you hear someone say they aren’t “religious” or refuse to accept the idea of a loving God? Because they are convinced that a real loving God wouldn’t hurt people. Because it’s super easy to lay every calamity at the feet of God rather than to acknowledge that it’s bad actions by bad people and the chaos of nature that really is behind the calamities. And when you have some preacher saying “God is going to test you and keep doing so until you are some near-perfect saint of a being”, you’re not opening the door to people. You’re closing it. You’re making it sound like being a Christian is like becoming a Navy SEAL. Life is tough enough, why would you sign up for the spiritual special forces?
Nah, that’s not the message Christ gave us. And the people saying it may not themselves be evil or intend anything bad, but it is an evil. It is pushing people away, especially during a time when this world needs to open their hearts to God more than ever.
I’ll apologize for my rather over the top and kind of (very) silly diatribe, but not for what I am getting at. I know Paul set a long-standing tradition of internal criticism among Christians, and there isn’t anything wrong with that. It’s a strength really, that we can keep ourselves on track. But not to the extent we start making up new doctrine or excluding others from even wanting to be open to Christ.
Gentle suggestion… stop capitalizing satan. he is not a god.. he is defeated and less than the dust under my shoe. he doesn’t deserve capitalization and I relish every opportunity to diminish him.
God Is Sovereign and He Is Good!
Well it’s a proper noun, like any name, so it’s capitalized. I assume you capitalize your own name but aren’t a god? But I like the idea of “every opportunity to diminish him” so, I’ll attempt to always ignore English convention and spell it with a lower case as you suggest.
Knowing anything about the life of Abraham is an example of “living in the past”. The reader, the teacher, any author writing about it, are “living in the past”. Even Moses and God were “living in the past” when they wrote it.
I understand that Chambers is trying to motivate people to continue living with God, but frankly, he is sowing seeds that can grow to undermine the bible.
Imagine Paul trying to share his testimony if he was forbidden to talk about what happened on the road to Damascus. That was long in his past by the time Paul started his missionary journeys.
Well, Paul surely didn’t stop accepting the Lord’s guidance either.
Guess I should include a link to the writer of this and all the others….. here you go…

Have a blessed day everyone!!! ❤️
Thank you Feral. I found OC here at the treehouse because Just Stevie posted the daily readings. Even though I have the book, I am much more likely to read it here and appreciate your posting it.
To all here who post daily prayers, they (andyou) are all a part of my daily spiritual life. I thank you all and to all those who are no longer posting, you are missed.
Imagine that!!! We were in just stevie’s class together ❤️
Agree wholeheartedly with everything you said, and to all who post spiritual inspiration, a big thank you ❤️
May your days be filled with blessings everyone 😘
Good morning, Cat. And of course as always I hope so many blessings cross your path as well🙏🤗
Good Morning Betsy!! ❤️
Have a blessed day, my friend. 😘
Thank you, Cat.🤗
Morning Cat! And blessings to you. ❤️
Good morning precious Cat!!! 💝 First of all, thank you for continuing the OC series. We must remember that OC continually encouraged believers in Jesus Christ that pitfalls are always around the corner and to beware. If we read his thoughts, then we can know ahead of time what may approach us to diminish our relationship with Him…something satan is ALWAYS striving for! The closer our relationship with God and His Son Jesus Christ, the more we will experience detractions from satan and his group. This is what OC is all about! Thank you again sis for your faithfulness! 🙏
Awww to get a hi from my teacher, it’s the best caturday EVER!!!! ❤️
I can finally say thank you to you (and everyone)for guiding me in all things God!
Blessings to you and your loved ones 🥰
🤗 😁✝
Hi juststevie, good to see you post.
Wavin at you sir!!! 😁🤗 God Bless you and your family! 🙏
Sorry, I just reread what I wrote and it sounds like I’m calling you satan or something, it just hit a chord with me. I’ve had some really bad experiences with people I loved basically giving up on faith because they were led to believe some specific thing makes them irredeemable. Usually a celebrity preacher or cultish church they go to.
I could go on with how much I disagree with the message you posted, but I already did that. I mostly just wanted to apologize for getting revved up and it sounding like I called you the devil or something. I know you’re not.
Good and glorious morning, Cat❣️
-Yes… it is sometimes (often) too easy to become complaisant, or caught up …getting absorbed in the moment’s situation and the thoughts and feelings that come with it.

It is told that there are 2 types of questions – 1 that no matter how difficult “can” be answered. The other is beyond the limit of physicality (outside) and thus cannot be answered regardless of the physical (inside) mechanism used. Instead it is “acquired” or “accessed” via the spirit.
Where would this fit ..
Using a straight edge and a compass …draw an angle and the divide it into three equal parts…
🇺🇸💪😀👍
an interesting angle.. you may have a point.. I thought of this.. and is an option for an explanation of what occurred and what was observed.. hence the DaVinci inclusion.. man and the Universe..
and Sacrobosco might not have been totally wrong either.. basically a Universe rotating.. but as well as earth.. all moving.. gyroscopically in a sense.. reaching Supersymmetry..
I’m no physicist.. but I’ve been looking into a link of string theory and loop quantum gravity for a scientific explanation.. current science cannot link the two together.. I think because there is something else not factored in..
for what and where was observed.. the missing variable in the equation may reside in atmospheres.. and/or pressure for example..
it occurred in approximately ten atmospheres.. around 300 to 330 f.s.w. ..

“..Link Quantum Gravity studies bits of space-time, whereas string theory investigates the behavior of objects within space-time. Specific technical problems separate the fields. String theory requires that space-time have 10 dimensions; Link Quantum Gravity doesn’t work in higher dimensions. String theory also implies the existence of supersymmetry, in which all known particles have yet-undiscovered partners. Supersymmetry isn’t a feature of Link Quantum Gravity..”

My Chimney Sweep and his son were over yesterday. I wanted the chimney swept before installation of the new fireplace insert I bought and to talk to him about installation of the same.
He was a big man but not now after being diagnosed with stage 3 kidney cancer and going through the surgery and chemo. He is now under 200 lb. for the first time since he was in High School. But he was as cheerful and talkative as ever. Attitude is the key to continuing to enjoy the gift of life in the face of adversity.
I had my left kidney removed on July 7th, 2011 with closed cell, renal cell carcinoma, stage 3-A. No chemo.
No related problems since.
Praise the Lord!
God bless, John. What wonderful news.
Indeed, praise the Lord!
I hope, rah, a miracle is in the offing for him.🙏
I have such a soft heart for sweeps. In Wales, we had one who was known by all as “Rhys the Sweep”. He was a young lad much in demand because everyone had coal fires. He was a jolly sort and always arrived with his Mary Poppins kit and brushes and who did such a thorough job, there was hardly any clean up after, although he himself was covered in black from head to toe. I always kept him supplied with cups of tea and biscuits (cookies to Americans).
And we daren’t not make an appointment. One time we had a soot fall. You can imagine. But the warmth of those fires, and the smell was very evocative of home and all its comforts, I don’t care what loony climate cultists say.
We had fireplaces in our 1869 built house in the morning room, living room, dining room, one bedroom (the other large bedroom’s was sealed behind the wall for some reason). We only ever lit fires in the small morning room, and at Christmas, the living room, and once in the dining room when we had a get together with family and friends.
Rhys cleaned them all, and we loved him, as he well knew. We made sure of that.
Mornin’ comrade banana republic infidels.
This day in 1940 was the start of the turning point in the Battle of Britian.
Aldertag (Eagle Day) was to be the knockout blow to RAF Fighter Command and it’s supporting network of radars and airfields. Instead, due to weather and poor coordination by the Luftwaffe and excellent response and coordination combined with tenacious defense by the RAF it was a disaster for Herman Goring and marked the end of the possibility for invasion of the home islands.
And so Hitler turned his attention towards Stalin’s Russia and setting the stage for the invasion of that country by consolidating control over the countries in the Balkans.
As history has shown it was the event that doomed Hitler’s 3rd Reich.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.
Put that armour on, my friends. Now as never before, we must, must wear it constantly.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us? Then said I, Here I am; send me.”

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”
1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
VINDICATED: Judge Roy Moore Wins $8.2 Million Defamation Judgment Against Senate Majority PACThe Senate Majority PAC, the Democrat swamp apparatus in Washington D.C., is being forced to pay an $8.2 million judgment to Judge Roy Moore after a jury found them guilty of defamation.
The Senate Majority PAC helped Democrats win a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama back in 2017, killing Moore’s chances to win as an outsider. The destruction of his campaign included circulating ads with false accusations that insinuated Moore is a pedophile.
The claim deemed defamatory by the court was used by the Senate Majority PAC in their “Shopping Mall Ad” against Moore. It claimed falsely that Moore was “actually banned from the Gadsden mall for soliciting sex from young girls.” Now, they will have to pay $8.2 for their scurrilous accusations.
“This is a huge blow to a major super PAC out of Washington D.C. That interfered in a senate election in the state of Alabama. The people of this state are tired of the dirty politics and attempts by the establishment in Washington DC to control who the people of this state elected to the United States Senate. I feel this is vindication and I give thanks to Almighty God and the jurors in this case for a great victory over the corrupt political system,” Moore said in a press release after the verdict.
VINDICATED: Judge Roy Moore Wins $8.2 Million Defamation Judgment Against Senate Majority PAC – Big League Politics
The most horrid accusation that could ever be hurled at any man. And, oh the irony of that righteous judgement against a party full of them and a party which seeks to groom our precious gifts from God.
Exactly betsy! Was just going to comment that they always accuse others of what they are doing, as the evil alinsky taught them.
That seems more and more to be the obvious, doesn’t it? Example after example of their own perfidy.
Unfortunately, that accusation was repeated and bandied about in comments here. I don’t remember how it was taken, but we had loads of back and forth on Judge Moore.
I am so glad I don’t remember it, Jim. He has been vindicated in a court of law. But once that accusation is leveled, a guiltless man will never be able to erase the horror of it, or rid people’s minds of even lingering thoughts. The most vile and insidious accusation.
Today’s reading: Luke 12 (all of it!)
Soooo good for mature believers.

”happy cartoons and cereal day” (levi)
Niiiiiice, Slowcobra…all blessings to you and every absent friend whom we remember and miss.🙏
Hi, Bet. 2:10pm 94 degrees outside. I’m up for a few more minutes before hopefully catching some more sleep. 2 more 12 hour shifts then I’m off for a couple of nights Monday and Tuesday.
I guess you saw the news about Anne Heche passing after being taken off life support. I didn’t think she’d last more than a few days after reading about the intubation and the serious injuries she sustained after the car crash. Normally I don’t pay much attention to the misadventures of celebrities, but the 2 high speed car crashes in LA were bizarre. Nurse Linton survives, but she is in a world of hurt after wiping out 6 people in that intersection.
There you are, Joe! I saw you up top and thought I might run into you. Those are hard shifts I know. Hang in there knowing that each hour that ticks by s one less and you are closer to home.
Yes, I saw. The Daily Mail has a story on Anne, and I must tell you that I felt a real sorrow for her, and for her boys who are left without their mother. A real human tragedy. God rest her troubled soul.🙏
We are still hot here, of course. Drinking loads of water, and cold compresses. Trying not to put AC on and have boosted it to 90 with the aid of a small floor fan which we don’t put on until about 5. June’s bill was a shocker and July’s will be as well. But forewarned is forearmed, thus the boost to 90.
Stupid WEF climate cultist Abbott is eyeing thousands of the wretched windmills offshore of Galveston. So there is more of God’s switching ocean ruined.
Never mind. We are stuck with him in lieu of, I pray, dumb as dirt Beto, gun grabber extraordinaire.
I hope your precious animals are surviving this year all right. Roll on Ocober!!
Hang in there, Bet.
I’m going to try and catch a nap before the alarm goes off at 5:15pm. Work scrubs laid out and dinner ready for tonite. Coffee pot set up, just need to push the little red button.
Have a good evening. One day closer to October.
🤗!! Yes sir! You take care, my friend.🙏
You Are NOT Alone!! #preparenow #blessing
Just wonderful, duchess. Bless you, and that young lady whose faith shines through. Stunning and inspiring pictures within that short video.🙏
Worth 10 minutes of your time.
Greetings wolverines, er, uh, Treepers!
Maranatha!
Good evening, my friend. 🙏💖
Hi frank, good to keep seeing you again.
I saw a note the other day that a couple of regulars here had gone missing. Hope they have/will check in soon
I/we just get concerned when our every day “parishioners” suddenly drop off the radar. I hope so as well, Krypton.🙏
Worked on the lean-to behind the garage for seven hours. Sherry helped and saved me more work and a lot of trips up and down ladders.
The floor area is about 15’x5′. The roof 16′ x 6′. Cleaned the junk and old rotting wood out of it. The raked the leaves and stuff out. Then leveled the dirt floor with a garden rake. The on to the roof.
Used a sledgehammer to beat the old rotten OSB. pulled all the nails out of the rafters and then brushed them off. Thenhad 3 new 4′ x 8′ pieces of USB. Two went up whole except the outside corners next to the garage where I notched them to fit around trim on the garage. Nailed them in. Then the 3rd sheet of OSB was ripped the length into two 8′ x 2′ pieces and butted them to the others and nailed them in.
Then my neighbor Steve had a roll of ice guard with adhesive on one side and that will serve as both tar paper and the temporary roof to protect the OSB. Nailed it all down around the edges.
Next weekend I will put on the roll out roofing and install flashing next to the garage to direct water running off the side onto roof of the lean-to. I will cover the dirt floor with heavy plastic that form a pan all around and then put crushed limestone on top of the plastic and pack it down to form the floor. And then it will be ready to load up.
Sherry and I are beat. But now I have had my shower and have a beer in hand and peeled and deveined shrimp are thawing and there are the makings for a Chef salad for each us in the fridge.
Good workout today. Don’t know if I would have gotten it done without my babes help.
🙂
