Hopefully his son pulls thru! I had severe myocarditis and pericarditis at the age of 19, and am now 37. I do have a very occasional tachycardia, but otherwise life a full life – my own construction business, farm, I run at least 4 miles 5 days a week, etc. I am not saying I’m 100% but 99% would be fair (which makes me wonder if the heart does possess some healing abilities…). With that said, depending which studies you look at, the average death rate within 5 years of diagnosis is anywhere from 50-75%. Hopefully he can keep his son positive, and active once he’s pulled thru! I believe cardio to be very important and may be part of why I’m still here (Altho, God is truly the only reason I’m still here 🙏)

As for DeSantis, he has been built up as a heir apparent to PDJT, which I believe is inaccurate and premature.

DeSantis thought deaths were being overstated and had the Florida Department of Health get involved so the state could start differentiating deaths “from” covid and “with” covid. The Florida press went nuts and said he was misrepresenting the data. The national press also shrieked about it. And only the FDA can make drugs available over the counter, not governors.

Tend to disagree. VP has always been relegated to do nothing. I’d point to do nothing Harris; her lack of involvement in key “roles” is significant albeit by design. On the one hand, the evidence base for the scale and gravity of the Covid-19 pandemic is surprisingly thin in comparison to the myriad other threats to our health that we face every year. We don’t ban cars on the reasoning that every life counts and even one traffic death is one too many lives lost. Instead, we trade a level of convenience for a level of risk to life and limb.
