There is a big difference between “worry” and critical thinking to try to affect our future. What ifs are part of analysis to try to predict the future, keep control of our lives, and prepare appropriately for the most likely outcome.
Here is an example. It is likely, most sensible people would say, that Biden will not make it to the end of his term. He might, but it is less likely. So, you have to expect Kamala. The question is when. Thinking like a democrat, can this change be controlled or not, and when is it most advantageous politically. The unknown is majority control after November. Right now the polling shows democrats will lose so as a democrat you want to get anything done you can before your control is lost.
My thinking is that getting rid of Joe a few weeks before election might just save democrats from losing a few seats. New blood, fresh start, blame poor old Joe, falsely claim change in policy, and some some voters will swing back democrat. If they wait and lose majority, leadership change doesn’t get much political advantage other than setting up for 2024.
You can change the future with the right actions based on good analysis. No worries.
