I see no reason not to build a new A-10 variant with minimal modifications to the original design incorporating newer technology as appropriate.
Truth is the airframes of the current fleet of A-10’s will eventually wear out. As a point of reference, see the B-52’s still in service.

My husband and I were stationed in England with an A-10 unit in the 90s. Congress tried to get rid of them then. One of the best airframes ever.

Absentee Election Boards, in Minnesota anyway, are supposed to be made up of at least one member of every major political party who work together as a group opening and checking every absentee ballot.
In 2020 our demented SoS told county workers to use his ‘Hand Book’ for running absentee ballot boards and processing absentee ballots, instead of using Minnesota laws. I think most true conservatives and Trump supporters know what MAGA stands for in terms of policies.
However, the left, media, establishment, never trumpers, globalist, etc are trying to define what MAGA means in very negative terms.
Someone (Trump) should provide a general statement/document Outlining as specific as possible what the MAGA movement is all about. MAGA needs to define MAGA otherwise it will be done by others in a very negative way. I know much is covered in speeches, but those can be manipulated as we have seen before.
The message needs to be controlled and Republican politicians need to validate if they do/do not support the policies outlined.

On an individual level, what is the reason someone would take the vaxx initially but then refuse booster shots later on?
A decision to reject booster shots is made against the inescapable pressure of social media, “mainstream news”, corporate/job pressure, Hollywood, and uniparty political support. In other words, a decision to reject boosters literally can not be made on the basis of ignorance. It has to be an active refusal.
There are limited reasons to refuse the vaxx: doubts on efficacy and of safety.
If you now doubt the safety of the vaxx and you already took one or two shots, what are you thinking about your long term health? Who are you going to blame? How angry are you over the possibility of having serious health issues in the future?
I am in the 25% minority that never took a shot so I can’t answer these questions. I am disgusted and frustrated at the totality of corruption and evil that rules over the political/media/”science” community that was required to create the greatest scandal in history. But I get the feeling there is no real anger out there proportionate to the harm. I don’t see people genuinely acting with alarm over all the confirmed deaths occurring in sports among the super athletic and now among the general population as reported by insurance companies.

i dont think it necessarily need be “active refusal” at all. it could be as simple as the mandates not going past a certain point. I know my company never asked for any booster proof, and some asked for one but rarely a second.
It is impossible for anyone to claim they haven’t been exposed to all the “expert” advice to keep getting those boosters. Mandate or no, there is still a lot of corporate pressure to obey vaxx compliance.
If you think boosters are effective and safe and you already took one, why would you not continue just because you weren’t legally forced?
It seems the argument is that people do what they are forced to do and never think about why. I suppose this is possible. It would fit the “low info” behavior of non questioning and passive consent. I would not even be too surprised if those who suffer critical health problems wind up passively going to their deaths.
Besides the financial windfall, I suspect there is an actual medical reason the for the boosters.
The Human body is a powerful system that works to shed, as waste, things that do no belong in the body. Many people took the first 2-injections and over time the chemicals and genetic materials in those first 2-injections have essentially been passed as waste and neutralized while awaiting being passed.
The boosters are needed to reinforce or re-introduce a new cocktail of genetic materials that replace the original that have been overcome by natural defenses.

My SIL is one of the people who took the jabs initially. She is over 65 and was thus in the first group to be offered them.
She is a Conservative and a Christian but believed her doctor when he told her that they were safe and would be the way out of the pandemic. This was in January /February 2021 – back then almost all seniors were taking them without question.
She had a slight reaction to the first one but a far more serious problem with the second. Started having menstrual bleeding again, and had to go through tests to rule out ovarian cancer. She has had nerve pain in her legs for years but it is now so bad she has had to give up playing pickle ball, which she loves. She recently had a scare on her mammogram as well but it turned out to be a benign mass, although she will have to go in more frequently to get checked now.
She is furious and tells anyone who asks that she blames the shots and that she will never get a booster!
My best friend is over 50 with diabetes. She (and by extension, her family) were among the first to get the shots, before it all came out that they were nothing more than poison wrapped up in Big Pharma packaging. I had a conversation with her about the boosters, which I hope dissuaded her from getting any more. Her extended family and friends have all been dropping dead around her, but so far she and her immediate family have had nothing worse than a weakened immune system.
I think some people just got annoyed, they were told to get a shot to get back to normal, they did so, and thet suddenly learn no, it is two, three or four shots.
Also some only paid attention long enough to hear, shots are available now, so the got their shot, and have no idea they “need” another.
How many fall into these categories, I do not know/

The news of the export to other nations was reported by Reuters a week ago and raised concern over the continued mismanagement of resources by the Biden Administration.

About 1 million barrels are being released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) daily. The release is expected to continue through October.
In June, The SPR fell to the lowest since 1986.
U.S. crude futures are above $111 per barrel, and gasoline and diesel prices are above $5 a gallon in most of the country.
According to U.S. Customs data, the fourth-largest U.S. oil refiner, Phillips 66, shipped roughly 470,000 barrels of sour crude from the Big Hill SPR storage site in Texas to Trieste, Italy. Trieste is home to a pipeline sending oil to Central Europe refineries.
The same data showed that Atlantic Trading & Marketing, part of parent corporation TotalEnergies, exported two shipments of 560,000 barrels each.
According to Reuters, an industry source stated that cargoes of SPR crude were also headed to the Netherlands and to a Reliance (RELI.NS) refinery in India. A third cargo is headed to China, another source said.

Here, Hunter has his best possible speculation, if he is implying that Putin would nuke European cities in response to a NATO intervention in Ukraine.
It works only if NATO does not nuke Russian targets in response, which he blithely ignores.
Russia does have lots of nuclear missiles. Given their army’s poor logistics, maintenance and technical weaknesses in Ukraine, especially with old Soviet equipment, it’s likely that many of their rockets may not launch, may hit way off target, or not detonate. They have plenty enough to do lots of damage, but precision is unlikely.
NATO’s nuclear Arsenal is well maintained, technologically superior, and can deliver precise attacks.
The real fantasy stuff is dumb assumptions about Russia’s conventional warfare superiority.

Ukraine’s effective resistance to the Russian invasion, and, Russia’s numerous leadership, strategic, doctrinal, tactical, equipment, technology and logistics difficulties demonstrate that it doesn’t take anywhere near NATO’s existing military capabilities to bloody Russia badly.
The fact that a relatively small amount of NATO anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, long range precision artillery and some targeting data are giving Russia difficulties elevates Hunter’s claim to the science fiction level.

Russian pilots get half the flying hours US pilots get. They get no large scale combat practices like our Red Flag events, which NATO forces participate in.
Russian pilots get no practice with large formation, closely timed precision attacks, like our US Navy aircraft carrier wings and Air Force squadrons execute and practice.
“Any aerial campaign over Ukraine would turn into a bloodbath for allied pilots. Lacking air superiority, NATO would be forced to achieve victory against the Russian Army in ground combat. That would involve sending tens of thousands of soldiers into a meat grinder in which the odds favor the Kremlin.”
Hunter’s assumption can’t be based on numerical superiority. The US has almost twice the military aircraft of Russia and China combined, plus a distinct edge in aircraft superiority. Combined with superior pilots and large air formation training, it’s difficult to see how Russia could gain “air superiority”.

The idea that a Russian army with lots of poorly trained conscripts, low quality NCOs, clumsy command and control, and inferior equipment defeats a better trained, better equipped, army with recent combat experience is ludicrous.

His uncle has already stated, publicly on T.V., that there were “no signs” that his idiot nephew was so screwed up to commit such a crime. (Not his exact words, obviously).
Obviously, there were signs of a mental disorder. It is near impossible to commit or obtain help for adults, even for people over the age of 16, who won’t seek help or cooperate. You can’t just phone someone up and say here take this person, maybe if they say or do something that is considered a threat you might go to court and get them observed for a couple of days. There is a hole in the health system for these situations, most times the person is self-destructive and not attacking people.
That is so. I know a woman with a sister who suffers from serious mental health problems, but who is non-violent.
The woman is a danger to herself, however, but her sister can’t get her the custodial care she desperately needs.
Last time the woman was on a 72 hour hold, her sister didn’t know when she was released, and finally found her in a public park, talking nonsense to a strange man.
Mental illness like schizophrenia often has a genetic component, mental illness tends to runs in families. Personality disorders are more environmental, excessive drug use, lack of parenting, social isolation etc. I’m not a Doctor, Psychiatrist or Psychologist. I just believe these kinds of shootings are more personality disorder driven than pure mental illness. There’s probably a very fine line between the two. Just my opinion.

That discussion reminded me of a time we seem to have forgotten. Anybody remember the Rape-publicans? Justt when it seemed that candidate Mitt Romney could actually win a race against Barack Obama, who had suffered a dramatic drop in popularity, along came two Republicans who stated that they thought abortions should be banned, including in cases of rape or incest.
That may have been their honest belief, but one has to question the timing.
I recall VP candidate Paul Ryan echoing the sentiment, and stating emphatically that no, he would not allow exceptions.
What I’m getting at i Republicans are not above using this issue to throw an election.
What I’d like to know is just how many ten year old babies are on their period? That is so wild and out there alone that it makes me wonder if somebody is lying about “mommy is eleven years older then me” to get sob story points.
You hear the world record stories of the youngest mom in Peru or wherever at 8 back in the 1800s or whenever. You marvel and think, how horrific, but once is but once. And sure, less than one half of one percent of abortions are “rape-n-incess” but it’s sick and smells like five day old fish so it sells.
How many of the girls involved in rape-n-incess situations are removed from them PERMANENTLY? None? One? Any? Ever? I know that the left can use or fabricate any rare occurrence to push their point. But according to the Mayo Clinic and other sources, “Menstruation typically begins at about age 12, but periods are possible as early as age 8.” So 10 is definitely within the range, and not some odd statistical exception. Also, when I was 10 and in the fifth grade back in the mid-’60s, the girls had to attend a film and presentation from the school nurse about getting your period — and there were at least a few girls in my class who had already started.
Today, if you add that a lot of meat and dairy animals have had added hormones and other stuff, and we eat more food with chemical additives and processing, plus the push to consume soy with its estrogenic properties… Just saying, it’s no surprise to me that girls are developing earlier. (Try doing youth work — it’s amazing how much older young girls often look these days, and not just from dressing or acting older.)
My brother had a job about 10-15 years ago, servicing soda vending machines in the schools. He had been a biker, and was pretty savvy about life in the fast lane. But I remember him telling my mom how shocked he was by the young girls who would come by while he was working and try to flirt with him. He said if he hadn’t seen them in a school, he would have thought they were much older, and said, “Mom — these girls look and act like grown women!” He went to the school authorities right away to insist that none of the students bother him while he was there working, and that they enforce it.
