ABC News Martha Raddatz confronts South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem about state abortion rules, limits and restrictions in the aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe and returning the legal decision surrounding abortion to the states.
Ms Raddatz is a pro-death advocate who decries any possibility that an unborn child, including an unborn female child, has a right to live. Ms. Noem handled the combative interrogation with political aplomb. WATCH:
Shocked that Martha didn’t have tears as she did on the Election night of our Lion.
Like Kristi…but…she needs to stay on the straight and narrow and not veer of the rails to the squish side…
Yep, I remember election night when this toad was CRYING… yet, here she is. The Gov. scored a knock down when she used the ” follow the science” reference. Not sold on Noem at all but she never takes crap from these malignant slugs in the press.
I watched the interview as it was taking place. Raddatz just would NOT let Gov. Noem get her points across. Raddatz was just nasty. Noem was professional. Fast-forward one interview and Raddatz had Sen. Warren on. Total love fest.
I thought the Gov did a terrific job! Great point about physicians defining fetuses as patients during certain medical procedures. First do no harm, right AMA?
Exactly! Kristi did GREAT!
Babies as patients.
I thought that was great too!
My daughter just gave birth to our second grandson (all are doing perfectly well, thanks) … never ONCE during her pregnancy did her OBGYN refer to her gestating baby as anything other than her SON (yes, she wanted to know). I dare say, if my daughter hadn’t taken all her prenatal vitamins … her OBGYN would bring her up on charges.
As an aside … my daughter takes exceptionally good care of herself … eating healthy and taking all the vitamins and medical protocols advised by her physician during pregnancy. When I read the statistics about how America is resembling a third world country with the number of troublesome pregnancies … and worse. I wonder who the women are who are not doing all they can to ensure the odds for a healthy baby are in their future. And PS … my daughter worked up to the week before her scheduled c-section (her choice). Now, she gets to heal up and enjoy a generous maternity leave (although she will be available for consultation and advice) . We hear about the “voter-replacement” that is taking place … and it seems we are also replacing healthy pregnancies with troubled ones … and replacing perfect graduation rates with slumping ones. What the hell are we doing to this country?
The vast majority of women having pregnancies that are problematic are in the Black and Hispanic community and yes, the women are generally quite obese even before becoming pregnant. A significant number of women across the spectrum get pregnant while hooked on drugs like heroin and myth adding to the problem. The drug issue hits everyone even the unborn.
agree 100%
Noam did a great job. She was well prepared. Why not? All republicans should expect this type of treatment.
Is it a coincidence that Raddatz looks like an abortion?
Like the forceps were pulling on her face but unable to extract the demon child
Staunchly pro-life in Noem uncertain terms.
🤭
You must have had this planned for several days.
Honestly, no..CW.
The Noem name just started me thinking of phrases with ‘no’ in them to play off of.
WORDMAN’S name was certainly planned and we can see why….. 😁
She’s a RINO I don’t care what she says.
Like any good RINO, she plays the conservative when it suits her political needs…
This.
The fallout from letting freaks play women’s sports musta been yuuuge.
So she needs to reassure the rah rah republicans.
Sorry. She … yes SHE will never receive my vote for anything. She had one job to be a conservative … and blew it. Screwing women just to prove how “progressive” towards mentally ill men who are pretending to be women …
She was the ONLY governor that did not shut down her state. That is IMPORTANT to remember. When the entire US was in the grip of covid madness/tyranny, ONLY SHE STOOD FOR THE FREEDOM OF THE PEOPLE OF HER STATE.
If you start looking at all of her executive orders, and the senators in the state–It was not Noem who really kept the state open, yet she took the credit.
Exactly correct
She’s a run of the mill greedicon. All she cares about is what is corporations want.
Yeah … including the “transgenders” … the mentally ill who are playing pretend. And she’s playing along
She tried to shut it down. The legislature wouldn’t let her, and she later took credit for keeping it open.
South Dakota is a tourist state. That is why the state was open. Remember Thune is from SD as is Rounds.
I don’t care either. I don’t trust her.
I give her credit for being professional and calm while dealing one of Devil’s workers, outside of that, I agree. She isn’t to be trusted. She is a prettier version of Nikki Romney.
Would you rather have Michigan’s Widmer or New York’s Hochul as governor!
Would you rather have “damned if you do” or “damned if you don’t”? C’mon, it’s one or the other!
D. Bongino has it correct. The Republicans may not be the answer to the problem, but they were not the cause of the problem. To that effect, or close to it.
Yeah, they are the cause of the problem, they allowed all the crap to happen when they had a chance to do something about any of it for years and years and years.
No, they appear to be enablers, just saying.
No, D. Bongino does not have that correct; and it’s statements like that by that make HIM part of the problem. The Republican Party, Inc. is deeply complicit in both causing most problems Americans face today and failing to help solve them.
Republican party has been too busy trying to do what they call compromise while giving into everything the left wants.
Problem with the Republicans is they stand down and apologize when Democrats call them out, even though what the Democrats did was 100 times worse like the Democratic Riots versus protests.
H3LL look at Arizona and how the protestors held lawmakers hostages—Now that is what I would call an insurrection.
I agree 100%.
I disagree, had they done the job they were ELECTED to do this “problem” wouldn’t exist.
You’re not serious! Obviously you haven’t seen Hochul in action?
I would!
Noem–Thune — Rusty Johnson
Please stop with the lesser of two evils strategy.
When you employ the “lesser of two evils” strategy, in the end you are still choosing evil.
The “lesser of two evils” is a figure of speech meaning “less offensive of two undesirable options.”
The most desirable option would be perfection. However, no one is perfect. Therefore, any time a choice is made between two candidates, a choice must be made between two undesirable options.
I think this is why conservatives lose elections. They expect perfection. Choosing the less offensive is actually the best strategy. As you said, no one is perfect.
Conservatives lose elections because there are as many Democrats in the Republican party as there are in the Demonrat one… and Dominion helps the rats.
Many in the GOP are elected with those same Dominion voting machines as well …
Yes, I realize it’s a figure of speech. Let me re-phrase using your terminology: “… you are still choosing an undesirable.”
Had a chance to “Cantor” both Graham of (SC) and McConnell (KY) to send a message to the GOP Inc. in 2020 and that failed.
GOP Inc. counts on this when choosing the ‘undesireables’ they put in front of you to vote for.
No one at this point can wonder why The United States .gov is rotting from the head down.
As a matter of fact, YES! RINO’s are far more corrosive than leftists
Noem is a HUGE RINO–Yes it took moving into the state to find out, but DAMN….
What is really bad is she controls way too much of the elections & who runs & wins.
Oh yes there was some very weird things that happened during the primary. You know those types of things we refer to as voter fraud. Strange that around 20% or more of the republicans were all of a sudden labeled as Independents so they could not vote on the Republican ticket.
There was one trailer park that is primarily meant for vacationers only that had several hundred people voting from that address, when there is only a couple of dozen spaces.
One thing I found out that was weird was there requirements to be able to vote in a South Dakota election. Just prove you have an address inside of the state’s border and you can pretty much vote from day 1. On top of that you don’t even have to have a South Dakota ID when you go to vote, just use any ID from any state.
Hey I thought that I had barely made the deadline for residency to vote in the primary cause most states I have lived in have a 6 month requirement.
What is really bad is she controls way too much of the elections & who runs & wins.
Not familiar with the state or her as governor, so I’m asking as an uninformed outsider when I ask; does the governor control the elections and who wins, or is the governor simply the public face for controllers who operate out of the public’s view?
No
Was not familiar with the state either, except I thought Noem was one of the greatest governor. Fell for many of her excuses! (Yes many on here told me differently but I did not listen).
Then I moved here to Rapid City
DAMN–Yes I felt that I needed to get my feet dirty and I have–I been out in the trenches learning, listening, questioning , talking to candidates, and even phone calling & door knocking. Any time I could go I went to all the meet and greets, Cracker Barrels and any rallies I could.
Some crap has been pulled probably by Noem & her people, that should not have been pulled which most of us would call fraud. However it takes time and man power to prove and uncovered.
She had falsely slandered many that she has felt will/would get in her way.
I’m still learning, questioning and researching. Done a lot of deep dives & been shocked. What someone tells me goes in my notes, and then I go deep diving as much as I can before I will believe.
Oh I have called out a few who have overexaggerated some truths. Believe it or not the ones that seem to be seeking the real truth don’t seem to mind my digs but the others do.
Like when I said I could not and would not vote for Dusty Johnson due to the way he has been siding with the left.
Damn what the leaders of the South Dakota Strong told me really ticked me. They said ” oh he will be ok and vote the right way when republicans gain control” ! You better believe I responded back! I looked them right in the face and said we need someone who will stand up even if they are the only one spouting the truth. Then I walked out. South Dakota Strong is supposedly a Republican organization, but I’m thinking the proper name just might be a RINO organization..
Hey I’m still a work in progress when it comes to South Dakota, especially politics.
However, if a candidate is not a good patriotic American who stands up for the American Constitution America, Legal Americans then they need to be voted out.
Yes I’m watching things very closely now…Lets see what Noem does with the new gun law.
With the SCOTUS decision, South Dakota was already one of the many states with an abortion trigger law(?)
Trigger laws and abortion restrictions, explainedSome states are already enacting and embracing stricter abortion laws in the wake of the Dobbs decision.
https://www.vox.com/2022/6/25/23182753/roe-overturned-abortion-access-reproductive-rights-trigger-laws
Why is Noem a RINO? I know she supports banning abortions and she also signed a bill stopping tranny athletes from competing as women. What has she done wrong?
She refused to sign a bill barring men from competing in women’s sports. She caved to Amazon. She also favors corporate vax mandates.
Noem is not a RINO. Do some research on her family life before you run you keyboard warrior fingers.
I did my research–Maybe you should do yours.
FYI Family life has nothing to do with being a RINO politician–
What matters is what she is doing with laws and protecting the people of South Dakota.
look at the breaking news headline at the bottom of the image.
it amazing how long news was thought of as real
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new-poll-15-percent-voters-view-abortion-most-important-election-issue-economy-top
Only poll that matters. No one really cares!!!!
Veteran ABC “News” journalist — oops! — hardcore DNC operative George Stephanopopodopoulos resembles your remark…
We had a local talk show host call him George Steponallofus. FJB
Well, if that’s true then we should start seeing states where there’s strict rules or it’s illegal disappear. It’s now back to the states. So, in those states, if it’s so popular according to the chyron, reps will be elected to reshape the state’s laws.
We all know why they need it federal…this unravels their power.
Martha is a miserable liberal. Enjoyable listening to her “gotcha” questions shoved right back down her throat
This is what life would be like if we had robutst states’ rights.
This “controversy” is proof positive that the radical marxist Left which controls the US will not be satisfied unless EVERY single state submits to their authority. There is no other way to explain why the Left isn’t satisfied with running affairs in their own blue states.
This interview is as clear an explanation as can be as to why we must destroy the American Left. They will NEVER let us live in peace.
She handled that well.
Radditz earpiece was going overdrive. NOEM mopped the floor with that grubby operative.
Gawd. Noem is So. Good.
She wan’t rattled by that creep Raddatz, not once!
That look on Baby Killer’s face!
She always looks like her innards are stopped up.
I’m an eye for an eye guy, so you can imagine what I think Baby Killer should get.
Great job Kristi! Next time one of those dimwits throws what other states are spending on whatever at you consider this response. Are you talking total dollars? Because that is completely irrelevant and a common tactic to obfuscate the issues by comparing apples to oranges. Even if you adjust the numbers by dividing by population to reflect per capita spending which is probably on par with most other states, there are many other factors you are not c0nsidering. Every state is different. How many women in need do we actually have? Are their needs being met? In the end, what the state of South Dakota spends on anything or what laws it enacts are best debated by the people of South Dakota who don’t really care what you or those you cite think about them. That last bit wasn’t very tactful but, that’s me.
Yes, compare New York’s population to South Dakota and then compare the $$$ spent on pregnancy!
You could take 1000 people and give them the questions in advance and not one would have done as well as Kristi.
Socialism only makes things worse. Conservatives need to stop trying to appease liberals with the whole “we support welfare for single mothers also” thing.
Who cares, kristi can’t be trusted she is ousting her legislature…the REAL people that stopped the masks mandates, lockdowns etc she’s just the pretty face they slapped on it when it worked out. She’s a snake. Even Desantis called her out.
Yada, Yada, Yada!
Some people here seem to like to play ‘Ten Little Indians’ right down to ‘then there were none’.
But, maybe there really are almost “none.”
In the end there isn’t much daylight between the results they want and the left wingers.
Yes, Martha the unborn child is also a patient with rights that need to be defended against ghouls like YOU!
Wow. Gov. Noem really put Miss Sassy Pants in her place. Ha ha ha.
Raddatz cried on the air on election night 2016. She’s an absolute embarrassment to her supposed profession.
That was an excellent interview.
I also want to say that Kathy Barnette made a good case concerning the rape situation (which I used to be a little conflicted about even as a pro life supporter).
Once a rape has occurred, the violence has already happened. An abortion can’t erase or remove that violence.
Well if we made rape a capital offense again, I’m certain the number of rape pregnancies would go down
Kill rapists twice if the woman has an abortion.
I personally think serial rapists should be given the death penalty, however, SCOTUS has determined that this is “cruel and unusual punishment” not in proportion to the crime….I respectfully disagree with them on the matter as the effects of rape last a lifetime…..maybe this is another case where stare decisis needs overturning
Good gosh, America has been like the wild wild west on abortion compared to Europe .
Ohio just enacted the Heartbeat law.
I tell you, whenever you refused to help one of these least important ones, you refused to help me.
(Matthew 25:45 TEV)
Noem is now the hero? I thought she was Thune supporter, and supports transgender rights.
Band wagon thinking never fails. The Gov. did hold her own while nails and hot flames of fire were being thrown at her. She deserves credit for that.
It doesn’t make much sense to be all or none on a politician every time they something you like or dislike.
I also do not think it is fair to say she supports transgender rights. I think she bowed to some corp pressure but rebounded?
everyone knows these leftwing chat shows are biased and unprofessional. Why gone on them?
sorry to be judgmental , but I find Raddirz ugly both inside and out
I don’t that is judgmental, just truth telling.
Another thing of interest in addition to the limits is how often abortions are actually used.
For example, in Washington DC 51.5% of all pregnancies end in abortion….
but, in South Dakota only 1.2% of all pregnancies end in abortion.
Yep, and Washington DC and South Dakota aren’t that far apart in population:
2020 population:
DC…..701,974
SD….. 879,336
Yet total abortions are extremely different:
2020 abortions:
DC….9,410
SD…. 130
Wow!
Yes…seems like everyone is arguing around the fringes.
According to the CDC (2019 data) nearly 99% of abortions happen in first 20 wks….93% in first 14.
I couldn’t find any numbers for rape and incest, but I would guess those are less than 1%.
So, based on current legal situation in the states (which is sure to change), 70%(35) of the states that surely represent 80+% of population, not very many abortions will be prevented.
I did not like the phrase “gave the power back to the States“
Constitutionally, The power Was/is always with the state. The SC simply reversed the unconstitutional Power grab / rights creating from air years back.
I think it would be wise politically to refer to it as correcting an unconstitutional act
I would have also liked to have heard Noem put martha in her place about killing kids a little more directly.
On a side note as soon as Noem made her initial common sense comments the news director started running all of those stock photos as if Noem is the only person in the world that doesnt want abortion on demand.
a nuance, but absolutely right
just like gun rights are not granted by the government
SCOTUS did not ‘give anything back to the States’. The States have always had these powers under the federalist concepts and provisions in the US Constitution. The Federal government started usurping the States powers more than 100 years ago and the States have gone along by abdicating their right and proper roles in the US Constitutional Republic form of government.
As an example the Ventriloquist’s Dummy-In-Chief that currently occupies the WH is threatening to set up abortion clinics on ‘Federally owned land’ in States that ‘restrict abortion access’.
First, the Constitution severely limits what lands the US Federal government may own to forts, armories , and one 10 mile by 10 mile Federal ‘enclave’. So the Federal government’s options for where they can legally locate ‘abortion facilities’ is severely limited. Should the Federal ‘government’ attempt to circumvent any States right to set it’s own standards relating to abortions by using lands leased to or managed by the Federal ‘government’ the States must be ready to immediately reclaim those lands. (They should do this in any event.)
Second, there are Federal LAWS that severely restrict what and how ‘Federal funds’ can be spent regarding direct funding of abortion activities. The O’Dumbden regime’s tactic of just ignoring the Law until they are forced to stop after having already achieved the intended goal will come into play here. States must be prepared to press legal action against the Federal ‘government’ as soon as any such attempt is made. Preferably as a multi-State ‘class action’.
Third, in many cases legitimate Federally owned land agreements may include clauses relating to State tax abatements, compliance with local and State laws, mutual aide agreements, etc. that all become invalid once the Federal ‘government’ starts providing services of a type or manner that contradict those land agreements.
In other words it is time for the States to undo 100+ years of abdicating the States’ rights and responsibilities and that the States start implementing what SD has referred to as ‘extreme federalism’.
Why would any federal land exist, other than wash dc? All land within a states borders should be owned by the people or that state. The federal government should only be leasing the land that they require to accommodate their federal functions.
May 2022 – Democrats want Biden to “do something” to end the mass killing of innocent children.
June 2022 – Democrats want Biden to “do something” to allow the mass killing of innocent children.
US Abortion Law Was More Reflective of North Korea and China than Rest of World Before SCOTUS Ruling
https://yournews.com/2022/06/26/2367271/us-abortion-law-was-more-reflective-of-north-korea-and/
“What should the punishment be for women who receive abortions…?”
Pre-Roe v Wade women were not punished for abortion; the abortionist was. The women were regarded as victims.
Which I think is wrong. The women aren’t sinless. They choose to murder their child they should face the consequences. Let’s stop being moral cowards. Before Roe, most lawmakers assumed women got abortions out of desperation and family coercion so no one wanted to make the woman/girl suffer even more but nowadays these people use abortions as birth control. There are accounts of women have literally dozens of abortions over their lifetime. A walking mass murder imo.
Raddatz is one of the dumbest folks on ABC. I remember one of the debates where she just couldn’t stop showboating. Reminds me of Candy Cane Crowley (whatever happened to her) who couldn’t keep her mouth shut during the Romney-Obama debate.
I’m not sure she still has a job, but what kind of mind thinks this way?

Nurse Practitioner Employed at Illinois Health Center Announces She will No Longer Prescribe White Conservative Men Viagra in Wake of SCOTUS Decision on Roe v Wade
https://yournews.com/2022/06/26/2367282/nurse-practitioner-employed-at-illinois-health-center-announces-she-will/
Reprobate.
Noem handled the interview extremely well and managed to bring in the disastrous policies of Biden on energy and inflation two times – which Raddatz tried to cut off.
………..sigh. Remembering grandma’s rules, I won’t make a comment on the pro-death advocate’s name.
I don’t mind, do you mean Rats-ass?
“The American Medical Association calls the Supreme Court decision a brazen violation of patients’ rights…”
The AMA is a medical cartel, organized to artificially restrict the adequate provision of healthcare services.
Sue them under the Antitrust statutes. Litigate their demise so as to free up more medical providers at a lower cost.
Isn’t the unborn baby a patient too?

This clip has gone into my ‘keeper’ file – thanx for posting.
Why shouldn’t those women be prosecuted as well as the ones performing the abortion?
Political third rail. A land mine you don’t want to step on as a Republican politician.
Time to grow a pair and clear the minefield. Both mother and abortionist are wrong.
I think the law is stated such that performing abortions is illegal.
Wow. Martha looked like a Satan club member. That face, balled up fists, spewing fire from her eyes, gritting her teeth. Whew, I thought she was going to explode, too bad she didn’t.
People like Martha Radish . . . they’re everywhere.
Didn’t she used to be called Diane Sawyer when she was young and pretty?
Kristi Noem has a very particular set of skills.
Not everyone has raw talent, courage, patience and self confidence to remain calm and keep their head under tough questioning fire. She’s smart; good communicator; doesn’t run away; embraces conservative morals and solutions.
Rare talent, that one.
Billie Cunningham is now on 700WLW, and has invited women who have had an abortion to call in and tell their story.
The RINO establishment in DC badly wants a DeSantis-Noem presidential ticket for 2024. I know both have their fans here but they’ll take anyone over Trump getting back in the White House.
I still say DeSantis is UNTRIED as an executive w a cooperative legislature in FL, something he would NOT have in DC….Noem is a non-starter….she revealed her true character when she refused to fight the NCAA over the transgender issue after she was gift-wrapped a bill to do just that…she backed down by vetoing it
Sounds much better for 2028.
I sure hope DeSantis doesn’t challenge Trump in 2024. That would be ugly.
Noem did such a perfect job of riling Raddatz. 🙂
Noem is good at talking tough.
Rape and incest should be an exception.
Why? Is an innocent baby not an innocent baby in those circumstances? Does the baby deserve to be burned alive in the womb, or cut up or torn to pieces because it was the innocent victim of criminal activity?
When does an innocent baby become an innocent baby?
Can’t watch it. Couldn’t get thru one minute.
Came up with a name for Kristi Noem last night: RINO Barbie! Whatcha think?
South Dakota is the 6th least populated state (including DC) so of course, they will be among those states who invest the least in “policies and programs for women and children”.
Once you realize fake news are a$$^^^^s, you can never go back.
Have to wonder how long this abortion issue will last. Notice how there weren’t too many riots over this ruling this past weekend. Yes, there were many riots, but I thought you would see cities burning down, I for sure believed DC would be burnt to the ground. Did the D Rat party tell their Brown Shirts to cool it as the optics of cities burning would not look so good this time.
I think when that state closes the clinics you will have to have your abortion in the car back seat you got pregnant in.
Kristi Noem makes me question my sexuality. Definitely my new girl-crush. (Sarah Palin being my first!) She is amazing under the hand-wringing sanctimonious BS from HorseRaddatz.
The SIMPLE SOLUTION for democRATS is to STOP HAVING SEX! Hence, no abortions. How STUPID can they be?
Raddatz is a light weight but Noam absolutely destroyed her.
I AM IN LUV!
Lake and Noam 2024!!!!!!!!
Want to see how brazen our media has become in their bias, watch this!
She has looong list to climb over to get my primary support for a national election
Raddatz like all abortion sycophants constantly deflect the reality about abortions by equating abortions as a key/major component of women’s health. They then use that hyperbole as the justification for their nonsensical mantra that “it’s my body” to claim that an abortion is a privy medical decision between a woman and her doctor that is not to be interfered with by the government or Constitution. Of course, the Democrats, RINOs and their ilk whole hardily concur with this obtuse constructed logic because the abortion sycophants represent one of many dysfunctional voting blocks that form the base of the Democrat party. As a side point, you know that this hand wringing distress and concern about women’s healthcare going down the tubes because of restricted abortions (note they will still be utilized as a medical procedure for certain delineated conditions) by Democrats and such is total BS just to maintain a voter base because the same principle they defend for abortion is not applied to those who claim “it’s my body” regarding the covid vaccines. Now, returning to women’s health and abortions. With respect to women’s health, there can be no argument that it has advanced by leaps and bounds regarding conditions that specifically impact women. With respect to abortion, it is the end result of a condition, called pregnancy, that is totally preventable by women. However, it has been Democrat intervention and policies that have brought us to this point.
1. HPV vaccine and the government’s insistence that it be administered to females 12 years of age and older. Note HPV is commonly transmitted by sexual intercourse. Are they advocating sex for a 12-year-old girl in a roundabout way?
2. The introduction and continuing demand by Democrats and teachers’ unions to promote sex education in elementary schools.
3. The availability of birth control pills, abortion advocacy, etc., by school nurses without parental consent.
4. The constant inclusion of sexual overtones and inuendo by teachers’ unions and liberal school boards into classroom instructional materials.
5. The continuing indoctrination of young women that feelings, emotions and likewise orgasms override the responsibly and consequences of an action, becoming pregnant, that can be simply solved by having an abortion.
And what has been the end result of this horrific malfeasance? 64 million unborn children killed by the expressed consent of their own mothers at the behest of Margaret Sanger, Bill Gates, globalists, NWO and all the other eugenics advocates.
