Feeble-minded Joe Biden is frequently repeating his inane statements about the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as not being absolute and deer in Kevlar vests. The later is intended to suggest that the 2nd Amendment was intended to apply only to certain outdoor pursuits. The left continues to insist that the 2nd Amendment is limited to the militia of the states which must be regulated in a way satisfactory to the federal government.
Both avoid mention of the various state constitutions which were enacted prior to the U.S. Constitution and the “Bill of Rights” amendment which followed soon thereafter.
The Pennsylvania State Constitution enacted in the months after the July 4 Declaration of Independence provides in Article 1, §1: “All men are born equally free and independent, and have certain inherent and indefeasible rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, of acquiring, possessing and protecting property and reputation, and of pursuing their own happiness”.
Article 1, §21 provides: “The right of the citizens to bear arms in defence [sic] of themselves and the State shall not be questioned”.
Article 1, §25 provides: “To guard against transgressions of the high powers which we have delegated, we declare that everything in this article is excepted out of the general powers of government and shall forever remain inviolate”.
Very similar language regarding a right to arms appears in the constitutions of other original states and in constitutions of states which joined after 1789. The sections in the PA Constitution mentioned remain un-changed for 24o+ years.
Obviously, there was a concern about “transgressions of the high powers delegated. Accordingly,” everything” in Article 1 “shall forever remain inviolate.”
Let us not ignore the state constitutions in this latest attempt to transgress.

However, what if the time comes that I have a criminal emergency issue. Not only does it take an average of 10 to 20 plus minutes for a response to a 911 call but damn what if the LEOs that respond are just like the LEOs that responded to the Texas shooting.
Back in 2003 I called 911 with the call not being answered for way over 10 mins. Yes I started timing it after a dozen or so rings, and no I wasn’t put on hold. Luckily it was a panic call due to a stolen car that I probably should not have made. However, I felt that if I had hung up after realizing it, I might end up with some crazy police response with smashed doors or ??

Very true- we have our elected officials just do what they want to do with no recourse. Sure would be nice if there was some sort of contract they signed stating election commitments and if they strayed from those commitments they could be sued or fined.

Dr. Mercola had a very interesting article on Ukraine and Putin yesterday based on an interview with Oliver Stone. Previously Stone produced a documentary “Ukraine on Fire” and then produced a documentary series called “The Putin Interviews.” In this current interview with Lex Fridman, Stone states that the radical left US government (which wants to impose communism in the US) has projected its crimes onto Putin, who is opposed to communism and supports national sovereignty. But the wall of propaganda by the US mainstream media protects the corrupt US government.
[Let me interject a little Ukrainian history here: In 2014 the US was involved in a coup d’etat in Kyiv to overthrow the duly-elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, who opposed NATO membership. He had been elected despite routine U.S. election meddling. This coup was said by some to be the most blatant coup in history. Aseniy Yatsenyuk, handpicked by Clinton appointee Victoria Nuland, became prime minister. Russia refused to recognize the government he headed, stacked with NATO supporters. Obama named Biden as point man on the Ukrainian crisis. He was involved in many corrupt schemes. He authorized transfer of $3 billion dollars to the post-coup government of the Ukraine. An estimated 14,000 Ukrainian Russians were killed between 2014 and early 2022 by the Ukrainian military and Nazi battalions, and the US has supported it, and continues to do so.
Stone believes Putin realized that the U.S. is intent on regime change in Russia, and are willing to destroy Ukraine to do it. So, he took action. Fridman suggests the Ukraine conflict may in reality be a proxy war between Russia and the U.S., and Stone seems to agree with this theory. He also points out that Zelensky had mentioned bringing in nuclear weapons into Ukraine shortly before Russia’s invasion, which could have set off alarms and influenced Putin’s decisions. Stone also warns that the U.S. is more than capable of a nuclear and/or chemical false flag. A small nuclear device could be set off in the Donbas, and even if it didn’t make sense, the propaganda machine would automatically blame it on Russia.
