All media reporting of this case will be done through the prism of their own cooperation in the perpetration of the fraud. The MSM knew along with everyone else inside and outside of government, that their efforts to create the Trump-Russia conspiracy and collusion narrative were based on fraudulent pretext manufactured by the Clinton campaign. Michael Sussmann was accused of lying to the FBI about working for Hillary Clinton at the time he took fraudulent information to the FBI about Donald Trump. A Washington DC jury has found Sussmann NOT GUILTY.
While Sussmann was pushing fraudulent information into the open hands of FBI Legal Counsel James Baker, another Clinton campaign contractor, Glenn Simpson from Fusion GPS, was pushing similarly constructed fraudulent information -including the Christopher Steele dossier- into the media and DOJ via Bruce Ohr.
The not guilty verdict simply means the FBI knew, or should have known, Michael Sussmann was delivering the fraudulent Trump-Russia collusion nonsense directly from the Hillary Clinton team. The FBI claims they didn’t know, the jury by finding Sussmann not guilty, says the FBI did know.
The BIGGER question is, what’s next?
Durham constructed this case around the premise the FBI and DOJ was duped or tricked by Hillary Clinton operatives, specifically including Michael Sussmann. It would be very weird if Durham now flipped the premise and began targeting DOJ or FBI officials around the premise they were “not duped.”
Therefore, I still think Durham stays exclusively focused on the outside actors and ignores all of the corrupt internal DOJ and FBI activity.
The prosecutorial approach by John Durham positioned all of the corruption outside the institutions of government, thereby protecting them.
The bad guys, the corrupt lawbreakers, are the people directly connected to the Clinton Campaign and all of the political and legal agents in/around the Clinton political machine.
As the Durham narrative unfolded, the brave and honorable institutions of government were victims to the horrible, terrible activity by the Clinton outsiders.

There was zero chance of Sussman being found guilty in a DC court with a compromised jury and conflicted judge. I never expected a guilty verdict.
HOWEVER, what Durham has done is to completely blow up the Russia hoax. The truth is now out there via his court filings and there is no denying that. He has proven that what we all knew to be true WAS true.
Clinton is a criminal and always has been. She plays dirty. Nobody will ever successfully prosecute her because she is a protected class.

We can really thank Sundance for preparing us for this miserable outcome. At least, he warned us of the Durham motive to protect the institutions and only prosecute outsiders. Durham even failed at that, because he did not insist on the recusal of the judge and removal of jurors for conflict of interest. He probably makes the excuse that it is a DC jury and is satisfied, thinking that he has done his job.
Durham’s goals are not justice for the swamp rats, like Sussman. He only cares about protecting the DOJ/FBI, and going through the motions to maybe placate the MAGA crowd and Patriots into thinking we have a decent judicial system.

After analyzing the time and energy spent on such pursuits, I tend to agree with you. Focus on matters which impact us directly and accept that we need to prepare and train for enemy incursions at any moment. The time spent on the machinations of the various political and judicial activities can be better spent training for what is to come.
TBH, I never expect Sussmann to suffer any penalty. I figured at worst he’d do a plea deal like Clinesmith did. Apparently that poke of the bear wasn’t sufficient so they poked us with an in our face acquittal. OK.

I cannot disagree with the jury’s decision – nor with Durham’s for selecting this as his first case to try. It is perfectly obvious to any sentient being that the FBI did know the truth, certainly on the “seventh floor.” To send Sussman to prison for basically doing what he was told would have been inappropriate. Now, we have a jury decision to that effect.
Sundance I would have been blown away if anybody connected to this travesty were ever convicted!
So “Durham” comes down to issuing a humiliating loss for patriots. The only reason that he was allowed to continue under Biden’s handlers. Next Trump, his organization, and his family are taken down by the NY radicals. “His ilk must never be allowed to rise again”. In 2024 patriots are left with one hope, DeSantis, if he can defeat the GOPe, but running likely means that he must choose between his family’s welfare and the “Trump treatment”.

I guess that I take a different viewpoint than most. I believe jury’s verdict of ‘not guilty’ is the correct one for the charge. I think Sussmann is pondscum and often a liar, but in this narrowly defined charge I don’t think he lied to the FBI.
Now if he had been charged with conspiring with the FBI, DoJ, and others to bring down Donald Trump using a knowingly false premise/information, then I would say the verdict should have been ‘guilty as charged’. Course I don’t think this jury would have voted ‘guilty as charged’ in that case either.
It was the wrong way and the wrong charge to use if Durham was truly investigating whether the government used the ‘right predicate’ to investigate DJT. Or maybe it would be better to say that it was the right way and the right charge to not acknowledge the culpability of so many in government positions, political parties, and congress.

I’ve read most every comment here. Most are mad and some mad at those who say nothing will ever change; that at least the Clinton hoax machine was exposed. Some believe that only Trump can fix this two tiered justice system.
It will take decades to change this dynamic. Leftists run the DOJ, FBI, State and Defense. They also run our intel community, our schools for higher education, all major media outlets and the vast majority of social media.
Donald Trump can’t fix this. If he is elected in 2024 he will become a lame duck president immediately. The likes of the GOP swamp will dump on him along with all of the leftist organizations listed above.
The reality of this is that young America First conservatives need to get involved at the grass roots level and work hard. America First conservatives need to get into government and big media. They need to become the counter culture to our current leftist culture.
Until this happens, the Sussmans of the world will walk free and the Comeys and Clintons of the world will rule the day.
I am well past the age to get into this fight. I will do what I can with donations but I have too few years left to get into the fray. Young America First conservatives need to get into this fight and get this country back on track. If they don’t we will become Canada, or worse.
I realize I sound very cynical but I have been around a long time, been involved in politics in the past, law enforcement and the military. I have a pretty broad exposure to this landscape and I’ve never been this disheartened. I never expected Sussman to be convicted and while I hope that Durham is successful in the future, I doubt he will be. God help us all.
