There are increasing reports of widespread consumer shortage for baby formula, many parents are now growing increasingly desperate, and retailers are starting to ration purchases.
The Abbott Nutrition plant in Sturgis, Michigan, shut down in February due to an FDA inspection and several food sanitation concerns. That plant was one of the biggest suppliers of baby formula nationally including Similac, and a major supplier of specialty formulas that are a lifeline for thousands of infants with medical conditions, including metabolic, allergic and gastrointestinal disorders.
Oddly, after several months the plant remains closed.
Politico has this interesting aspect noted, “Neither FDA nor Abbott will answer specific questions about the status of the investigation or what the plan is to reopen the facility, which has further strained the infant formula supply chain. Among other types of infant formula, the plant is a major producer of Similac, the top brand on the market. Parents across the country have posted on social media about near-empty shelves of formula at the retail level.”
In response to the supply shortages several retailers have now begun rationing infant formula to customers:
(Via The Hill) Several major retailers — including Walgreens, CVS, Target and Costco — are rationing the purchase of baby formula amid an ongoing national shortage.
“Due to increased demand and various supplier challenges, infant and toddler formulas are seeing constraint across the country,” a Walgreens spokesperson told NBC News.
“Similar to other retailers, we put into effect purchase limits of three per transaction on all infant and toddler formula to help improve inventory. We continue to work diligently with our supplier partners to best meet customer demands.” (read more)
As noted within several media reports, some people are calling upon the federal government to intervene and use federal resources to either assist with expanded manufacturing capacity, and/or, assist with equitable distribution, ie ‘rationing’.
The Cloward-Piven strategy for radical and fundamental change consists of overwhelming a system, creating a crisis and then using the crisis as an entry for government solution; the ‘never let a crisis go to waste’ part of the program.
There is no doubt the overall food production supply chain was thrown into chaos when COVID mitigation efforts by the government shut down the food supply chain for 60% of national consumption.
When the food away from home venues were closed (restaurants, schools, hotels, cafeterias’, lunchrooms, food trucks and hospitality venues) they represented more than half of the total food supply chain. Food at home retailers, grocery stores and supermarkets, together with their upstream manufacturing and distribution systems, simply could not keep up with the increased demand.
If you run any system beyond its operational capacity long enough, odd downstream consequences begin to appear. One of those consequences is always in the food safety and sanitation side of the food manufacturing and processing system. However, as the food supply boxcar effect begins to stabilize and get back to normal, now is not the time for another round of government intervention.
Sometimes there is little distinction in outcome between an actual scarcity and the appearance of scarcity when hyped by fear and panic. Be careful of hyped fear and panic because it can be purposeful for the interests of the Cloward-Piven types.
Not everyone can breastfeed. Blocked milk ducts, very small milk production etc
My stores have it on ration of two per purchase.
Depopulation!
Not everyone CAN, but too many never try. If all that formula only supplied those who can’t, our species failed long ago. There are many solutions to lactation problems.
You are right, the majority of women can nurse, but evidently a lot just give up when it gets painful. The pain goes away after a week and it is real comfortable to nurse. It makes you wonder now what they are putting in this formula with that plant still closed. Makes no sense, except, that this is part of their war on childrent. Whereby breast milk is pure and safe for babies.
Not when mommy has had a bunch of covid fake vaxes. Breast milk is tainted.
Horrible to think about that…!
You hit the nail on the head.
absolutely!!
Do you also believe in the right to choose ?
This is REALLY no one’s business, other than the mother’s.
So don’t complain to me when it turns out to be a bad decision.
Hey, it gets people who have never nursed, joining in on bashing the mothers. For whoever made the decision to take away the formula, it was a good decision.
Mothers were already getting bashed by people like New York’s nanny governor Bloomberg, now they get the alleged conservatives on their backs as well.
The simple solution to limited milk supply is nutritional yeast.
Lactation specialists can help most women overcome problems with nursing. But it’s not those problems that create the demand for infant formula.
There is something fishy going on.
Goat milk can be modified for infants:
https://mtcapra.com/goat-milk-formula-recipe/
My mother was a farm girl in CO. Yes, goat’s milk was successfully used as a replacement.
Duh.
No e
Offense intended.
The globalist, satanist bastards!
Leave these innocents alone! Sick freaks!
Probably most my age were raised on Dextro -Maltose.
My children were allergic to milk, even mine. Thank God for soy milk. I understand the early settlers boiled bones for broth to feed their babies when mama’s milk couldn’t do the trick and there were no goats, sheep, or cows within miles.
These global bastards are gunning for our children— through infanticide abortion, clot shots, or perversion. I am a teacher who says, “No” — to this bs. Now they are going to starve babies who are are living and breathing.
Leave our kids alone!!!
I tell you (with 20 plus years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner) for every woman who claims they can’t produce breast milk, I give you a dozen who didn’t try, didn’t want to sacrifice their time and body, or had body image and self confidence issues that hindered their ability to commit to nursing.
From ICU RN with more than twice your experience:
Why is this your problem?
Is it a problem?
Patients’ Rights!
Then don’t whine about shortages when you exercise your right
Most women can but don’t. It’s better than the formula anyway.
You don’t know that.
So was the FDA “inspection” legit and the outcome is true? Or was it the deep states usual way of telling us ahead of time what they are going to do? #PlanShortages
Yes, it was legit. 2 babies died from the issues with that plant….or so they say
“Or so they say”–that’s the key.
Gee…I wonder what my parents or grandparents did (with my 6ft 4in and 207lbs)? Or, the other members of the 10 generations going back.
It’s literally de-evolution, folks.
Embrace it.
I got cow’s milk fresh from the tank on the farm. Ain’t dead yet.
Unfortunately babies can’t digest cow milk until they’re about a year old. In the old days when mom had no or too little breast milk and no midwives around babies were given goat milk. Which babies can digest.
There’s no reason whatsoever why Abbot’s been closed down all this time. It’s a huge company. Perfectly able to rectify whatever the problem was in a short time.
Really? You should have told my mom that. She did not know.
This may shock you but about 77 yrs ago on a farm in upstate New York, a little baby girl was born and yes, she nursed hungrily all day and all night….but was not gaining weight and Mamma was feeling rather ill.
The family doctor was called and he came for a visit and checked Momma and baby girl. Momma’s milk was mere water and baby girl was starving.
Family doctor walked to the barn with Papa and picked out a COW to be sequestered, cleaned and milked only for baby girl. Which Papa did.
Mamma got better, Baby girl got fresh, clean, healthy nutritious cow’s milk and Papa was happy.
My sister is 77 yrs old and is a very strong, healthy woman, who rarely needs the services of a medical doctor.
I know it’s just an anomaly.
Government does NOT know best.
VERY common for baby not to thrive, when the mother develops a health issue.
This happened to my boss’ wife back in the 1980s. She was very motivated, very knowledgeable, and had successfully nursed 3 children.
Baby number four, they took him to the pediatrician, for a routine checkup, and were shocked that he hadn’t gained weight.
It turned out to be a problem with mom’s milk.
They put him on formula, he caught right up.
The people who think mother’s milk is always best, and most mothers can nurse if they want to- why do you think so many babies did not live past infancy in the olden days?
Such ignorance and hate.
How much are they getting paid to stay closed?
Evaporated milk is cow’s milk and I raised three on it. There wasn’t a problem.
Thank you, Mari.
Someone who knows what she’s talking about.
You are spouting off about something on which you are obviously uninformed.
In the 60’s the my-way or the highway libs, started a tempest in a teapot over breastfeeding & they condemned feeding formula to infants.
It was brutal, like most liberal dictates. They thrive on destroying freedom.
Goats’ milk was frequently used when babies allergic to other milk sources.
My Mother and Grandmother made home made baby formula for one of my younger brothers.
I remember very vaguely them making up the daily amount of formula and putting the bottles in the fridge to be heated up and used.
There were recipes for formulas available back then all over the place and doctors would offer them if a baby needed extra feeding or had allergies or was adopted or for what ever reasons.
I do not know if the ingrediants for these recipes are not available or if parents do not have the time but it is possible to make the formulas.
It was just powdered baby formula Bought in big cans in grocery stores mixed with boiled sterilized water The bottles and nipples were boiled to be sterile before filling them with the formula. The ready to use formula came out in the 1960s. More convenient that boiling and filling bottles and water every day
Or how about tens of thousands of years of humanity surviving on breast milk, that’s how it’s meant to be. Todays women don’t have the right attitude or support. It’s shocking that people actually complain about the shortage when they could have prevented the whole situation.
Tens of thousands of years of birthing ten kids, and only seeing six survive infancy.
They used to make formula on top of the stove. There used to be karo syrup in it.
Why can’t a few lactating dads step up and fill the void.
Patrick Geagan: I agree. It’s time for lactating men to step up to the pump.
Read no further fellow Treepers. Patrick wins. Mic drop!!
Ouch…..! What’s the matter?
I have sensitive nipples..!
(Guardians of the Galaxy reference.)
Interesting side conversation on the thread about illegals and formula.
And the government compounds the problem by warning parents not to make homemade formula:
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/fda-warns-against-homemade-infant-formula
Absolutely! My mother in law fed all nine of her kids on homemade formula. None of them are stupid, or malnourished. And they are all very successful in their chosen fields. (Many of them are libs, but I don’t blame the homemade formula).
People are resourceful when needed. Depression babies like my mom were so creative. This is deliberate and nefarious.
It wasn’t really homemade. It was powdered formula mixed with sterilized water
They were doing carnation milk mixed with other things.
No, Mari, in the 1940″s and 1950’s, at least in many parts of the world (Guam, for instance), there was no powdered formula. Canned milk, as another commenter mentioned, was mixed with water and Karo syrup to make baby formula. If the mixture was too rich it could endanger the infant’s life. According to my mom, (a military wife), a nurse in the hospital almost killed my sister by mixing it incorrectly. Also, to those who criticize mothers who do not breastfeed, remember our society has changed over the years. Many women are forced into the workplace and are unable to stay home to breastfeed. Don’t tell me you can can pump breastmilk at work. I did that; it was a nightmare. Although employers may state they are allowing it, there are so many obstacles it is ridiculous. Disgruntled co-workers, phones ringing off the wall, and impatient bosses make it difficult.
Having made it for a few years, it is indeed, homemade.
Do you think only something coming out of your body is homemade?
That’s pretty bad when you think of it.
Many years ago we had a few goats on the farm. My mother worked at a local hospital at the time, and I can recall milking our goats to provide it to a couple families whose newborns needed it. Their doctor recommended goats milk. I don’t recall the details of whether the mothers were unable to nurse, or why they could not tolerate other milk, but I recall being told goats milk was good for them.
This was before feeding some kind of baby formula was as massively widespread as it is now.
I agree baby formula is needed in some instances, but I don’t believe it is the sole thing a baby can tolerate. I also believe formula is often a convenience than necessity. I also wonder how much baby formula popularity has grown if it is subsidized by welfare.
Goat’s milk is the closest to human milk. The smaller fat globules in goat milk result in a smaller and softer curd, enabling digestive enzymes to break it down more rapidly. Goats milk is also recommended when people are lactose intolerant. It is not always the milk but the fat globules.
My youngest was also raised on homemade formula. I tried pumping since he was a premie, but I ended up engorged. So I made the formula my mom used, whole milk, water, karo syrup and baby vitamins. Had to get a Rx for the vities but the rest I had on hand. He was at a good weight on his due day and doc said keep doing whatever you are doing. 31 YO now and deployed to Turkey coming home whenever since his return date was in Feb.
Thanks AV. I knew it had something to do with babies being able to tolerate it better than anything else.
My brother was raised on that recipe. He was allergic to my mom’s milk.
Thank you Sundance! Tom Cotton needs to sit down and shut up. He is full of shit.
Sadly, I agree.
Cotton always talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. When I realized he was on the corrupt Senate Intel Committee & did nothing to stop the Russia, Russia coup, I stopped listening to him.
Cotton is my Senator. I’ve basically given up trying to expect any of the 535 in DC to actually respond in an adult manner to problems.
Oh they are all adults. But unfortunately they are corrupt, prideful, self-serving adults. Political courage is extremely rare, almost nonexistent among congressional politicians.
I used to think that they BECAME corrupt when they got to DC, but now I believe that they go into politics BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY CORRUPT, and politics just provides a good outlet for them to polish and exploit that corruption for money and power.
And believe you me, the GOPe is out scouring for those types to recruit them.
Hmm… I am SO CORRUPT that the GOP will love me.
Indeed, I am SO CORRUPT that when chosen and installed in DC I will cross my benefactors and show my CORRUPT MAGA roots.
;-D
There are a few, but all too few.
Why are people calling for the gubmint to do something? The gubmint has already f*ucked everyone and everything.
Precisely the point that Sundance made in the article above.
Probably because the amount of people who use WIC to get their formula, which drove the price of formula up for those who have to pay out of pocket.
If the Abbott plant cannot or will not reopen, another manufacturer needs to step into the void. Hopefully it is possible and can occur soon
Maybe Abbott or other manufacturers switched over to making hand sanitizer and can’t get rid of the barrels of stuff filling their warehouse.
Australia had this problem going on pre-covid times…..Chinese were buying entire stocks and shiping it home to motherland.
When Aussie moms complained they couldn’t get formula, the rationing started. The Chinese buyers would go thru in teams and buy the limit, exit store to unload, then go back for more using a different cashier – stores still got wiped out, and most of it still went to China.
I bet there’s a shortage because of all the preggers illegals. They breed like rabbits.
Does anyone besides me remember that in the 50’s and 60’s very few women breastfed and there was no formula to speak of— hmmmm those generations turned out just fine– they used cow’s milk water and Karo syrup for newborns and gradually switched to milk and water/milk as the baby aged— time perhaps to go back to the old ways–
Yep….Jeremiah 6:16
Tooth decay was prevalent, though. I’m not sure if Karo syrup is appropriate today, except as a last resort.
Adding karo syrup to the cow or goats milk keeps the baby from being constipated.
It is part of the formula for home made baby formulas for this reason, not to sweeten the mild but to help the baby’s system from ” blocking up”.
That happens with today’s kids who drink juice in their bottles too
I know of a baby years ago whose parents used too put her in her crib at night with a bottle of chocolate milk and doing that rotted almost all of her baby teeth right out.
God equipped women with the means to feed their babies. I also remember evaporated milk and karo syrup and I remember my dad, who was born in 1908, talk about sugar teats.
Remember, the communists in Russia did the same things to Ukraine. They shot mothers scraping up leftover grain in the fields. Is history repeating its self?
As long as members of the Central Politburo can still purchase as much sausage and fruit preserves as always, why complain?
If you want something to be really jacked up, get the government involved
This sounds more serious than 2017 when they shut down Copenhagen production and there was a recall in Canada and the US.
There are ways around this, namely make your own. The most important move is to sterilize. Here are some ideas. https://dustyoldthing.com/1950s-homemade-formula-recipes/
Have already told my grand dtr to buy evaporated milk and dextrose (powdered sugar), she intends to nurse, but just in case. This is exactly what *formula* consisted of circa 1950s, as breast feeding was not the norm as I recall.. As a child, I can remember relatives mixing this for their babies.
Push comes to shove- everything old is new again!
Please do not recommend feeding babies sugar! Mothers milk doesn’t contain any such proportion of glucose and no human thrives on it.
calm down; formulas were made long before you were born.
Last fall I suspected there would be food shortages..I stocked up on lots of canned protein products including canned evaporated and condensed sweetened milk. My mother always kept it in the house and I knew the milk could be used to feed infants among other things..
Has anyone here ever looked at the ingredients on Similac or, especially, Lactose-free Similac? Best thing you could do for your babies would be to never feed them that crap again.
Wayne Farms, LLC is recalling about 585,030 pounds of a ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken breast fillet product over concern that it may be undercooked. The issue was uncovered when the company received a customer complaint that the RTE chicken product was undercooked.
https://foodsafetytech.com/news_article/wayne-farms-recalls-more-than-585000-pounds-of-rte-chicken/
I spent a lot of time in China 2010-2015, and the parallels (now with baby food scarcity) there is striking.
We are morphing into the China system before my eyes.
Rather than commenting about, “Well in my day, we just did ‘blah blah blah'” and bringing up the subject of breast vs bottle which is an already an extremely touchy subject, I wish y’all would stick to the issue.
There is a government FORCED SHORTAGE of a certain type of food that infants rely on. Because you or your family member do not need or want it, it doesn’t mean it’s not a real thing and a cause for concern (especially for new parents). If there was a shortage of prune juice, I’m sure a lot of y’all would be just as panicked as these young families are. Yes there are alternatives that may be helpful but THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE!!!!!!
I think we all can agree that FOOD shortages, especially for babies are extremely concerning. If you are at all pro-life, this should not even be a thing.
Okay – rant over.
But there is not a shortage of food for babies. There is a shortage of mass-produced corporate baby feed. You can feed your child in a completely healthy fashion without being dependent on big chemical and drug companies like Abbot. Untethering themselves from big corporate dependence would be the best thing to happen to these families.
Tell that to a hungry screaming baby.
Since almost everyone has a smartphone these days, why not spread homemade infant formula recipes over social media so that young mothers who lack critical thinking skills might at least be exposed to some temporary solutions?
I recommend we be solution-oriented, as opposed to ranting or “banging heads against wall” (it’s an expression) because convenient store-bought solutions aren’t sufficiently available.
I know what you mean GB.
There are ways to solve our problems without depending on corporate or the government.
While we want things to be the same and while we work towards making our government less intrusive in our lives it is a good idea to figure out how to live without so much dependence on the government fixing or solving our problems.
Think and work together as families and communities to solve things without bringing government into it.
They are usually the problem, not the solution.
“If there was a shortage of prune juice, I’m sure a lot of y’all would be just as panicked as these young families are.”
How ageist of you………. 🙂
If ’61 means the year you were born – I’m older than you. So no – it has nothing to do with ageism.
Well said MTeresa.
Is this because men can now give birth, but those birthing-person-guys still haven’t figured out how to produce milk from their man-boobs?
🙂
I bet momma Pete and momma Chasten are pumping away…using the breast pump..
Sure keep doing what we’ve always done cry to Federal Government to solve your problems.
That’s exactly why we got Federal overreach today.
Why can’t people grow up take care of things themselves.
We haven’t always had industrial manufactured baby formula and yet here we are.
Have you ever noticed how things we can do to be self-sufficient are being made illegal? Rain barrels, raising chickens, etc.
It isn’t that we can’t fix the laws too, but it makes it that much harder to start on taking care of your own life.
When are they going to be held accountable?
Silly me to ask a silly question- but what did they do all the generations before the invention of powdered baby formula? This is a First World problem that has the Third World questioning their status.
well this is insane. On the bright side there are recipes for a much more natural formula as I personally don’t trust this formula that is being and has been produced. I have seen too many children with digestive problems, colic, on and on which leads me to ask questions! Way too many people have gotten themselves in a rut with baby formula paper diapers and so on. Do some research for your children. My Mom never used paper diaper nor used ready made formula. Its time for parents to do the best for their offspring imo!!
Well, there is no doubt that there is an obvious disconnect in this mal-administration’s discussion over food shortages of all kinds. Not just now, but in the near future as well.
The apparent intentional fertilizer shortage during spring planting is bigger than anyone can visualize right now. Harvest time may will tell; however, even then, we will not truly know how the dearth of food production (for whatever reason) will affect the food supply until about February-March of next year.
Something wicked this way comes…..
The best fertilizer is poop. And every city is full of it. Don’t believe the baloney from the GOVERNMENT EXPERTS that human poo is just too dangerous and disease ridden to use.
Get and raise bunnies…Good meat, quiet, and poop is great for the garden and doesnt need aging like chicken poop.
Ahhhh. No thanks. I wouldn’t want too eat anything fertilized with human excrement.
You however, can have at it.
Winter wheat in the breadbasket is in June. They have been short on rain early in the spring and not related to fertilizer. We will know a lot more by October when the corn harvest around here is at its peak, right before the election. Beans will harvest after corn. The supply chain shortages will hit in February-March, but we will know much earlier.
The spring planting shortages are going to hit in unpredictable ways. Many farmers will be idling marginal ground for a season and putting all of their resources in the better land. Around here they still do not know if they will have fertilizer to side dress at any price. So, better land on average will increase yields and side dress shortages will reduce them. No one will know a lot of anything until the combines go into the fields.
Shortages at the store? Always check eBay. Lots of supply there. . . for now. I am an eBay seller and one of the tactics for aggressive sellers is to clear out the stores upon hearing of any shortage. (I do not sell in categories where this happens.) It happened with paper products early Covid. If you have to have something, check eBay but don’t complain about the prices. One tip, you can buy recently expired items a lot cheaper. Always remember, it is a “sell by” date and not a “use by” date and the dates are usually very conservative or mandated by government regulations. Your baby will not complain about recently out of date formula.

and the money just keeps on moving:
https://openthebooks.substack.com/p/faucis-royalties-and-the-350-million?r=8oof7&s=r&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
Thats a great organization, I donate monthly. They are doing great work!
We would have more than enough money to run the country if we knew where it was going and reduced govt contracts by half, at least.
The most common birth defect in the US, supposedly, is cleft palate often accompanied by cleft lip. This statistic isn’t obvious to the general population because the doctors repair these defects beginning about six months. These babies cannot suck because their palate is not closed. Our granddaughter had to be fed by pumping formula to the back of her throat with a special nipple and bottle.
All you have to do is….boil a quart of water…add a can of evaporated milk three tbsp clear Karo syrup and 2 tbsp codliver oil or evoo….mix all together put in sterilized bottles…or just get pure cow milk boil it and add karo….formula didn’t get widely used till the 80s
My children needed Alimentum by Similac. No other formula would work, we tried them all. It was hard enough to find enough of it when the plant was open. We had a very hard time obtaining what we needed. Checking all the local grocery stores several times a week, even asking employees to check the back for us. That was when everything was “normal”. I cannot imagine the added stress this is causing parents.
socialism lib American should happy about country is going down everything,
When my daughter was born, she was allergic to moms breast milk and all infant formulas. We simply puréed our food and fed her that, from 2 months on. She’s a healthy 48 years old now. The human race survived for millennia without formula crap.
When my oldest child was 3 months old, we visited the great grandmother who was also a mid-wife circa early 20th century.
We were sitting down to dinner and my child did not want the bottle.
The great- grandmother said that that baby is hungry and she told us to mash up some of the carrots, potatoes along with some gravy from the dinner table.
My child. scarfed that down like nobody’s business! So we started feeding what we had for our meals.
I have two children, the first was colicky as all get out, no matter what I ate, so I eventually resorted to formula; didn’t feed it for nearly as long as the “experts” advise, started making homemade baby food in a cheap blender with real food. She’s 30 now and healthy as all get out, expecting a son in July.
Her younger brother breastfed for a year or so (boys are much easier, lol).
Don’t know when they started the attack on breastfeeding, was that a women’s lib thing?
Democrats hate babies, so don’t expect Biden to do anything to help this situation, but make it much worse. Watch the Biden Administration buy up all the formula and only distribute it to minority communities in the name of equity. Also, you can bet the Illegals have no problem getting as much formula as they want.
Homemade Recipe for formula was provided in the 60’s
13 oz Pet Evaporated Milk
20 oz Water
2 Level teaspoons Karo
Makes enough for 6 4oz bottles.
If your baby is requires a dairy free formula
1 Cup of cooked rice can be any type of rice but brown rice is better as it provides more nutritional value
4 Cups of water
2 tablespoons light Karo syrup
Blend in food processor or blender
Don’t be crazy enough to start importing from China, it was contaminated before.
Yep, something called melamane , to give fake protein content readings.
where did the existing production capacity go? Has the demand spiked up in the last year? Any input supply issues?
Don’t understand how production can drop where baby milk can’t be found anywhere now….
It’s starting to look like “Bigger Is Better” really isn’t so better after all. One time in the distant past, AMERICA used to claim that competition was good; trying those new ideas were the American Way, etc. Obama/Biden tells us that bigger government is better and necessary to provide the “services” the public is demanding. The government, via tax laws & complexity has tremendously complicated the starting of a new business. Instead they seem to favor and subsidize the Bigs so they get bigger and richer. The Littles suffer, but who cares; THEY DON’T CONTRIBUTE TO THE POLITICIANS! As you’ve probably “Freedom is not free”, but Government has gotten so expensive the tax money you pay is SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH! So without MAJOR CHANGE, your government will continue in this direction; creating the billionaires that give them money!
This may seem out of left field , but riddle me this ; The old formula recipies called for Evap. Milk , water and Karo corn syrup. A Treeper confirmed it is NOT the same as HFCS – high fructose corn syrup.
If modern baby formula was switched over to HFCS – high fructose corn syrup , Just like soda pop was , could that explain the increase in diabetes , health issues ?
I can remember buying a soda when they SWITCHED from real sugar to High Fructose Corn Syrup. It tasted like crap , I knew something was wrong so I got a second soda .. same BAD taste. Early ’70’s
HFCS ruined Dr Pepper.
I don’t drink much soda, but Dr Pepper is available (in N Texas, anyway) made with real sugar. it seems to be the real deal. Light green packaging…
They had the “Throwback” Dr Pepper made with real sugar a few years ago, and it tasted like the DR Pepper I remembered! I thought it was limited release. I haven’t seen it in Central Florida for a few years.
Interesting theory….
If the NaziCrats can’t give them the vax shot, then they’ll starve them.
Where’s the money spent? On taxpayers?
No. Arming Nazi Ukraine forces & destroying our sovereignty by holding the border open & giving free phones, jet & bus rides & housing to illegals.
Bunch of losers holding offices in this Country!
i am just amazed at this site! MOST everyone is kind, considerate, loving and helpful! I’m so glad I landed here. Let’s all continue to pull together, as tough times will soon be here. Be each others brother and sisters keeper. Shalom Haverim
I kept bees for a bunch of years. Definately not for babies under two years.
I don’t purchase baby food but I can tell you many Ensure products are difficult to buy locally and the prices have gone through the roof. I have paid up to $3.50 a bottle for Ensure Enlive, which I give to my son twice a day. Unbelievable! I used to be able to buy it in local grocery stores, but now can only get it through mail order and it is heavy making it expensive to ship. FJB
They are also blaming the supply chain. What I want to know is if some of the ingredients come from ChyNah?
question: is Pete Buttigieg able to get baby formula? or is he still breast feeding?
next question: where is Pete-y going to get his next baby? He will have to go to one of the states that will have abortion prohibitions to adopt. Wont the DS lefties consider that treasonous?
Why don’t they just use MILK, like we did before “formula” was invented? Your welcome.
When was Alito’s draft written?
The globalists/leftists really don’t seem to like babies.
Formula started out as a just in case and became standard practice to allow women to rejoin the workforce earlier and earlier thus allowing children to be raised by institutions. Working and breastfeeding takes a huge effort.
