She has definitely been red-pilled regarding the jabs, the loss of our freedoms, the truth about the Democratic Party, and has even admitted that she believed lies about President Trump that have now been debunked and I welcome and appreciate her input and her determination. But I wonder if she will ever come out and admit that all of her rhetoric about being “Pro-Choice” has also been based on lies and has led to millions of women making decisions regarding their bodies without informed consent about what the procedure really is and the possible long term physical, mental, and emotional damage that it can cause!
No one mentions the post act consequences of abortion. Even if one could warn young women about them, they are so wrapped up in their social media, phones, lifestyles, I doubt very much anyone could reach them.
They live for the now. There is no tomorrow until they get there. It’s beyond their comprehension that one day they, too, will be looking back on their lives and reaping the heartbreak of having deprived their own of life, and themselves of the joys of motherhood. Even if they go on to have other children. Those regrets will come hard.
As for Naomi, she can’t do what she is doing in a vacuum. I suspect she’ll gradually revisit her previous stances, perhaps one at a time. This is a good start. Praying that she’ll complete her 180. She’s a powerful voice.

My unconscious created a dream where Americans began to be rounded up and herded into box cars…with our own police and soldiers blindly following orders to do so.
Undoubtedly my dream was based upon recent events, where police and military in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere blindly followed immoral and unconstitutional orders to arrest their fellow citizens.
We have our own American examples from January 6th in D.C. and saw very few people in law enforcement and the military refusing to enforce the illegal, unconstitutional mandates of the last two years.
Many years ago, in the early 1990’s just after the fall of Communism in Europe – but NOT in China – when I was teaching German and Advanced Placement European History in a Catholic high school for boys, we had discussions about the Nazis and the terrible excuse of “I was just following orders, therefore I am not guilty” coming from the death camp guards and others involved in massacres.
I expanded this to point out that no such trials were occurring in Russia to prosecute the ones responsible for the millions of deaths in the former Soviet Union, and how this was a moral mistake: Russia, because it had not shown itself willing to face the truth about the c. 75-100 million killed since 1917 by Russian-Soviet Communists, would be doomed to repeat those errors.
I also pointed out how the Chinese attempt to rid the nation of Communism had failed: too many had followed orders to continue the oppression, too many were afraid, Mongolians had been brought in to shoot the Chinese protestors, opposition was unorganized, foreign support was mainly absent, etc.
In conclusion, I remarked that, if America ever suffered a similar crisis, that my students before me would never blindly follow orders to shoot or arrest people protesting for freedom, that my students would never blindly follow orders which were clearly immoral, even if it meant their own prosecution or even execution.
Out of c. forty students in two different classes, there were two Seniors who shook their heads and basically said: “Sorry, no way! If I’m told to shoot, I’m going to shoot! I’m not putting my life on the line for your freedom!”
I was astonished and appalled and said: “You’ve learned nothing from our discussions then!”
In both cases they were adamant: they needed to live, and you would have to die, if they were told to pull the trigger.
2 out of 40 is a small percentage…but it can be enough to stop a revolution. And how many of the others – when tested in a real situation – will prove themselves to be courageous in fact and not just in theory?
The other question which I posed for their consideration (this was/still is a Catholic high school for boys):
“Does one have the right to kill someone trying to enslave/arrest you under a corrupt government?”
i.e. For those who blindly obey commands to jail or kill others in order to save their own lives, would it be moral to kill them?
Among some of the priests in the school there was a lingering 1960’s pacifism in the air, and so this had an influence on some students. Certainly Jesus did not resist His own execution.
And yet He also said: “There is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for a friend.”
i.e. Fighting against evil is a moral act: the early Church in the 300’s and 400’s A.D. discovered that pacifism in the face of barbarian hordes was a path to slavery and extinction.
And so the Miles Christianus was definitely allowed to defend others and himself.
Sounds more like more of a ‘nightmare’ than a dream.

If we have learned anything from the last two years, it’s the opposite of what you told your students; MOST people will pull the trigger if told to do so. Not because they’re bad people, but because they believe what they’re told and don’t think to question their own goodness.
Most of your students would take the order. Very few of them would stand up for the right thing. Very few of them would stand up for freedom.
Revolutions are not fought by a majority. They are usually foisted upon a perhaps dissatisfied but largely indifferent population. It only takes a small minority to set it off and fight it. Most people will go along with whatever the cultural currents are, and unfortunately, that includes Americans.

Oh, c’mon. That’s Psych 101, the classic, often repeated and constantly re-proven Milgram experiment. MOST will ALWAYS follow authority, even when the order is personally distasteful and requires harming another person.
Lots of students every year object to that conclusion, but if you run the experiment before telling them how it turned out originally, you will get very similar results. Folks absolutely HATE having to face the fact that most will play “follow the leader”, no matter what the orders are.

Naturally. The life of a Christian is null if the order of life is “Thou shalt not kill.” That is a recipe for extinction, which undercuts any purpose whatsoever in a moral universe. Therefore, it being self-destructing, it is a void concept.
“Thou shalt not murder”, however, is internally consistent and therefor valid as a moral code. It forbids the taking of a life without moral purpose. There is no prohibition in that guidance to lethal defense of the innocent.

Well that was an interesting thought experiment! I shudder to know how the situation would play out in real life.
I can tell you this much- I don’t think the police are our friends, at least not in Gulag states like NY.
Just a few short weeks ago I was threatened with arrest for refusing to wear a slave mask at my local library. One of the workers, a crazy woman, got right in my face and demanded that I put on a muzzle which I refused since the “mandates” had been lifted for some time.
Bottom line, I drove away just as the sheriff’s deputy was driving into the library parking lot with his lights flashing! Only surprise was that there was no siren.
After that, he showed up at my home to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to go in the library for 30 days. This almost turned into a criminal matter, luckily I handled it in such a way that it didn’t get to that.
I told the deputy that if he and the library staff continued to harass me, I would be filing a lawsuit against all of them for civil rights violations, etc.
I am still contemplating doing it except the courts are all corrupt too and the case would go nowhere.
Seneca this is a scary story. I do not utilize the libray anymore when I heard that they let the feds know the books one checks out. To me that equates to a spy organization and I noticed that they had been taken over with clown hair dyke employees. This all happe ed under Obama.
Btw, I had “the fed state” while he was in charge, show at my door over a census they thought I lied about. I had not lied and was very angry and told the state so. It was a scary because it could have escalated because I was still operating under the premise it was still a free country.

Hey everyone, quick update of my Magistrate race. Republican primary is May 17th, and there is no Democrat running. So whoever wins in May will be elected.
Keep me in your prayers. I’ve been on the City Council 14 years, but a county race is a different ball game. Opponent is in the good ole boy establishment. He even has a picture of himself posted on his Facebook campaign page smiling with McConnell.
I’ve been focusing my attention on how freedom starts on the local level, and how we must defend and protect our individual rights. My motto is “The only thing government should mandate is freedom—— and the only thing we should cancel in our culture is tyranny”.

The Yamal-Europe pipeline ends in two legs at entering Europe. The first leg goes via Belarus and Poland to Germany. A German gasprovider obviously bought a slot on the first leg to send some gas east to Poland. According to Reuters Gazprom had reserved slots to send gas westwards later on and is probably doing so now.
The other leg of the pipeline goes through Belarus, Ukraine and Slovakia to Austria and has been transporting gas from east to west as one would expect. Same as Nordstream I, that works normally.
No, Putin is not sitting with his hand on the gas valve and torturing the Europeans. It’s Russia’s interest to continue to be a dependable provider and not play politics. If the gasflow stops, Europe will adapt and the business will go, that’s all.

Once again I have read an article about which party is the party of civil rights, and figured that it’s time to answer this. When did the Parties Switch on Civil Rights? https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/04/when_did_the_parties_switch_on_civil_rights.html
There are two overarching reasons that in the 20th Century large segments of the hoi polloi fanatically became identified with the Democrat Party, believing it to be, not the plantation party of dirty politics, propaganda, and urban machines taking advantage of its constituents, but the party of civil rights.
—- (1) The red diaper babies and legitimately oppressed worker immigrants who fought for and then exalted unionization, either not realizing (or not caring) that the end-game was communism and corruption, came to view the Republican Party as that of management and the prejudiced descendents of original colonists.
Their children and grandchildren became so imbued in supporting “their team” that the alliance passed down through generations as an inherited and unthinking identity. For the worker set — in large part oblivious to everything but their personal finances, and who then were given additional promises of “stuff” from union wages, pensions and social security to the boosted welfare handouts that came later, nothing else, including the well-being of the country as a whole, ever has counted.
—- (2) As union exaltation began to fade with the rising standards of living and high economic stability of the U.S. in the 60s and 70s, along came the rise of the feminist voter — ostensibly freeing women from their “malaise” of family constrictions, and pushing abortion rights. (Many did not realize that Betty Friedan was a communist propagandist; coming on the tail-end of the spoiled hippy generation, the anti-family rhetoric was as much the second wave of communist infiltration as it was of “women’s rights”.)
Then, in 1976, the Republican Party, which at the time was in large part pro-choice, made a mistake — it adopted Bob Dole’s federal-level pro-life platform. This was unnecessary, polarizing, and undermining of court arguments that Roe v. Wade wrongly had overstepped against states’ rights. Worse, the then fairly large conservative wing of the Democrat Party immediately went the other way, embracing abortion. Thus the Democrat Party became the party that could tout itself as supporting “women’s rights”, and the party of “sexual freedom” (which, as we all know, now has burgeoned to extremes of delusion and perversion).
For much of the public that pays little attention to nuance or anything else going on in the world outside of their immediate spheres, this did it. Many people are narrowly focused, even one-issue voters. The Democrat Party could do almost anything corrupt, while professing itself to be the party of “civil rights” because it had cemented itself as the party of money and sex for the little people, and reinforced itself as their “team”, right or wrong.
So first came their (or grandpa’s) union and pension rights, and later, welfare, i.e. the perception of personal financial security, however meager, and without regard to whether enacted policies were in these voters’ or their children’s long-term better interests or not. And as this incentive paled, the Democrat Party became the party of no-responsibility sex (also ostensibly “freeing” women from family burdens for promised future economic joy).
And there you have it. Money and sex. “Civil rights” = gratification of the instant wants of the young and the ignorant, and everything else — including personal futures, and the country as a whole — be damned.
The parties never switched. But no amount of reciting of historical facts will overcome the perception that for many,the more important “civil rights” are “money now” and “sex now” –“for me”.

When I was an educator, the last thing I would ever do was bring my politics
to the work place.
I was even reprimanded by our school union rep for not towing the
union line as strongly as she thought.
As in, I wasn’t integrating union policy enough into my lesson plans
and how I scheduled my day.
I couldn’t imagine taking the stances some teachers are taking today.
Teaching is stressful enough. Why make it more aggravating than it needs to be.
These people shouldn’t be teaching, as they
are acting like political activists.

So he has painted Mcarthy into a corner by seeming to imply the corruption does not include McCarthy, that it’s about those other guys. He is making it appear that McCarthy supports Cawthorne.

We all know McCarthy is part of the problem. How does he attack Cawthorne without it appearing McCarthy is defending himself and the corruption?
