The issue of men competing as transgender athletes in women’s sports has become absurd as the male competitors have been winning the competitions. Unfortunately, sports organizations like the NCAA have continued to diminish women’s athletics by allowing men to compete against women.
Today Florida Governor Ron DeSantis addressed the issue when he recognized Emma Weyant as the best female swimmer in the national 500-meter freestyle competition. Ms. Weyant had trained her entire life to be a competitive athlete and came in second to a male transgender competitor in the national championship. The entire issue is an exhibition in politically correct absurdity.

I played Girls Hockey with the first league in the United States, now there are world wide Olympic teams. Am I proud hell yes, but can’t even imagine a high school boy slamming me into the boards, not good. Swimming and Track IMO were targeted for easy take over, not much push back. Push people push, or Women’s sports are finished.
So where are the powerful women in America who refuse to stand up and support these female athletes.

The US women’s National Soccer team who got so much adoration from the MSM for kneeling during the National Anthem and then taking the federation to court about pay issues vis a vie the mens team salaries, were beaten soundly by a an under 16 boys team.
When I was coaching my daughters U12 State Champ. runner-up soccer team, I asked a close friend’s U10 boys team to scrimmage us as a stout warm-up for our playoff matches. It went far beyond a stout warm up as his little boys (about half the size of my girls) proceeded to run circles around our team. They were faster, more skilled, and far more aggressive (damn that toxic testosterone-that hadn’t yet developed in these little 8&9yo’s!) than my championship girls.
i expected a challenge … but got a butt whipping instead. As IF there is no difference between boys and girls. And as a girls coach … I love girls sports … but it simply ISN’T the same as boys/mens sport. Sorry. But it’s as true and obvious as a pennis and a bagina
I am a coach too ). When I used to coach HS football, I’m only a one sports coach now- wife likes it better that way, we ran into an issue with a few girls who wanted to play. The issue wasn’t the girls playing. We welcomed them with open arms.
Of the two girls playing, one was fast and athletic- she was faster than a lot of the boys. The 2nd girl was husky, to say the least- She was just big. The issues arose when the first day of hitting started.
The fast girl lasted that one first practice. We did not put her up against anyone that was bigger while the teaching sessions were occurring- form, fit, and function of proper tackling. The bird-dogging of tackling steps and then controlled drills- winners and losers pre-selected so that you can focus on technique. The issue happened the first time we went live (only permitted 20 minutes of “live” per practice total). Live being full-go- no pre-determined winner and you go to the ground. Being fast, she was being used as a wr (she was kinda tallish for a girl 5’10 or so). The first pass to her- she caught…turned around to run. And, that was it. All done. 5 days into tackle football she was done for the rest of her life. She was laid out. Clobbered. I mean- snot knocker….by a sophomore cornerback that weighed less than her and was shorter by 2 inches. But this boy was fast, strong, and on the football field, he was a mean SOB. She didn’t get up. She was crying, flopping all over the place. It was a scene. She was carted off, went to the trainer….her dad turned her equipment in the next day and thanked us fo giving his daughter a chance. He watched it all happen (parents would watch practice up on the hill).
The bigger girl lasted about another week. She quit because she had to work with the linemen and she was tired of being thrown around or being driven back and drove into the ground (pancaked).
Girls and boys are different….I know it’s hard for some to get but sometimes it takes life to show people that….as the girls that year in football learned.
Our society used to impart important cultural teachings to young people including devoting quite a lot of effort and thought into providing controlled and supportive environments for young men and ladies to negotiate the very challenging transition from childhood to adulthood. The society was committed to creating opportunity for men and women to meet and establish relationships that could support their lives and the creation and development of children. As far as I know there has never been a society that abandons their young people to false portrayals of masculinity and femininity in favor of the grotesque exploitation existence of the “Progressive.” Our society transmits only contempt and impossible concepts. Our culture is poisoned and will not long endure.
The NCAA program for transgender is run by a transgender. The NCAA has failed in so many ways. Essentially in all sports, they “manage” it is a joke, and is a direct reflection of the university’s politicized march away from all that we hold dear.

They have persuaded people to substitute the word “gender”, which is not germane to the issue, for the word “sex” which is the crux of the matter. When learning a foreign language it can be difficult to determine whether to use the masculine, feminine, or neuter.
Sex is, except for extremely rare cases, unambiguous. Males have undeniable physical advantages of strength, speed, and agility compared to females. Therefore, allowing males to compete against is unfair and tends to marginalize females. We could pretend that a turtle is the same as a horse and permit horses to compete in turtle races but a horse would win every time even if it were just an old, broken down nag. There would be no competition for turtles.

It seems we have the same problem in most red states. In Texas, we have had not very good House Speakers for quite some time. Our Senate seems to be mostly good. Most House members seem to be mostly good. But the Speakers are continuously lacking. They are voted in by the House members, for this position, so I don’t really understand how this comes about. There are children born who are called inter-sex who aren’t clearly one or the other. It’s pretty rare, but I’ve known one. Best guess back then (50 years ago) was they were a girl. She was raised that way and was more than a little bit of a Tom Boy. Her parents were low key and laid back about it and didn’t press any gender crap with her and let her just be herself. If she wanted to wear jeans instead of a dress that was fine. Puberty came and with it lots of testing, both physical and mental and some minor surgery to deal with some problems.
All the people I IRL know who have declare themselves transgender did not have this physical problem, it was a mental one. Those who have had surgery have had working sexual organs removed. One had fathered several children before deciding they were trans and having surgery.

My daughter played NCAA Div 1 beach volleyball several years ago. Put any male on one of those teams and it would also be destroyed. It’s fun to watch co-ed beach volleyball though. One male, one female per team.

But bottom line, when his goals have been achieved, he will stop taking the hormones and go back to pretending to be a man (which he obviously also is not). For him, this is about cheating. For the rest, mental health care is imperative to help them understand what sexual trauma, emotional trauma, horrible parenting, or other, caused them to be so terrified of the future in the body they were blessed with. Genital mutilation surgery, blocking puberty, hormone therapy, all mean that being a parent will never be a responsibility, having a relationship with a member of the opposite sex will never be an issue, etc. We need to help them understand what has created so much fear that these things are too terrifying to face. Until they grow a pair, pun intended, they will continue to be laughing stocks for not standing up to this insanity. I took a personality test as part if a job application process recently. My past and possible future boss said it showed me as a traditionalist. This sounds funny to those who know me well. I like many music genres but gravitate towards hard rock/metal. That’s just the beginning of how non traditional I am. Buy I am also very, very traditional on some things.
