When we wrote about the media effort in 2018 {Go Deep}, specifically the collusion between the intelligence and national security agencies of the United States government, I asked the question, “Do we really think such a catastrophic level of corrupted journalism could reconstitute into genuine reporting of fact-based information?” The answer then, as now, is the same, NO. Indeed, it has only gotten worse in the past four years.
For the past several days, I have been highlighting a simple question on social media about something missing in the Ukraine story.
Where are the social media posts, from Ukraine citizens, that would support the narrative, as it is being told by Western media, about events happening in Ukraine?
Seemingly, Ukraine is the only conflict in modern human history where a pop culture society of more than 40 million technologically connected people decided not to document every moment of it on social media.
Considering the scale and scope of the conflict, and considering the Ukraine population of more than 40 million is far larger than Canada, and considering that population is located in a country the size of Texas, and considering they are a western technologically connected society with tens of millions of cell phones, we should be seeing a great deal of footage, pictures and images from ordinary Ukrainian citizens. However, we don’t. Why?
I’m not talking about the professional war social media accounts, and/or military-centric accounts, which, to be fair do have lots of images and footage of Russian and Ukrainian conflicts. I’m talking about the ordinary man/woman in the major population centers, who under normal circumstances would be generating tens-of-thousands of social media posts to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, etc.
Western media are telling us that Russia is randomly shelling, bombing and targeting all of these civilian targets in urban areas. Yet, there’s nothing visible. Almost everything you see is from Eastern Ukraine where a civil war has been ongoing for over a decade.
Whatever is happening in the rest of Ukraine is the least documented conflict in modern social media. It just seems odd. It’s as if there is a massive disconnect between the portrayal of western media, in comparison to the actual reality inside Ukraine.
(CNN Portugal) – [TRANSLATED] – Ukraine has opened the barracks to foreign fighters, who join an army that has to adapt those who have not been trained there. Some are Portuguese, “fighters in quotation marks”, as the government of the government Portuguese. Among these Portuguese there are former commandos, ex-paratroopers – and a 29-year-old mechanic, who spent 15 days at the Yavoriv military base, was bombed and left for not giving him weapons. I’ve never taken one before. It is the first account of a Portuguese about how the fighting lived at the military base and why he gave up fighting.
We call it n.s. The 29-year-old Portuguese mechanic had never taken a weapon of war in his life, but it was in the first waves of foreigners joining the Ukrainian military in the so-called international legion. He entered the Yavoriv military base on March 1. He left two weeks later – after the heavy Russian bombardments on this city of Ukraine, which caught him with the Ukrainians but unarmed.
N.S.’s account serves to realize an ongoing history in the war in Ukraine, which opened the borders, doors, barracks and arms to foreign fighters. Many continue to arrive, “knock on the door” at the border and say they want to fight. The first ones entered soon, now there are those who have signed up and are in hotels waiting to be called.
The international legion is seen with reservations by many experts and even governments – such as Portuguese – because there is everything: professionals and amateurs, mercenaries and volunteers, ex-military and people with no experience, who receive quick formations and weapons to hand.
They are “fighters in quotes”, so called them two days ago the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, without hiding their reservations. Portugal “does not agree with these procedures” of people, he stressed. “We understand that this is not the most effective way to support Ukrainians in their right to self-defense and is not part of the tradition or way of being of the Portuguese, nor is it the way Portugal contributes to international security,” explained the head of Portuguese diplomacy. Santos Silva commented on the news that at least seven Portuguese were in Ukraine with military objectives. Some of them were at the Yavoriv military base when it was attacked on Sunday by Russian troops

From the couch to the war – What made N.S. take the car and go from southern France, where he has lived since 2014, to poland’s border with Ukraine to say he wanted to fight? One impulse: “I didn’t think it made sense to sit around and watch a country, civilians, including children, being killed. In addition, there is a risk that one day the Russians will attack the rest of Europe.” He made the decision and left overnight, leaving his wife and four-year-old son at home. “I left a letter explaining. It was a shock to her. It’s all right now.”
“When I got to the Ukrainian border I told him what I was going to. They then called some men who took me to the advanced command post. I was the subject of an interrogation. In the end, they took me to the military base, which was already active.” When he arrived, he signed an uncertain term contract “until the war was over” – that’s how he said it – and they gave him the uniform.
At first, he says, platoons with foreigners were not yet well organized and constituted. The volunteers walked around the base – a large structure, with several buildings and dressing rooms. He soon met Portuguese, a former paratrooper who, meanwhile, was placed on special forces teams that are on missions through Ukraine, to “clean up the cities attacked by the Russians”.
He spent 15 days at the base in training. He’d wake up at 6:30 a.m. and join the military parade in the courtyard to listen to the commander. At 7:00 a.m. they exercised and an hour later they had breakfast. The morning was then devoted to training. “They gave us lectures of various kinds. Some to know the Russian weapons and the weak points of the opponent, others about first-hand.” They had lunch and were still in training. In the second week he lived at the base began to have intensive training of combat tactics, offensive, lines of defense, among many other topics. “I learned the art of war,” says N.S., who at a young age tried to join the Marines but broke an arm, which prevented him from following his career.
N.S. was one of the Portuguese volunteers who were at the Yavoriv military base on Sunday when Russia bombed the land in that area, just 25 kilometres from the NATO border. A few hours later, at least 35 people were killed and 134 wounded in the attack on the base near Lviv.
Because he had no military experience, he did not have weapons assigned that day. Unlike other colleagues, I had never left the base on a mission. “It was planned that that day – when the bombing took place – my platoon would finally receive the weapons.”
It was a night of terror, he reports. “I was in bed when I was 4 in the morning I noticed from the noise that we were going to be attacked.” At the first explosion he jumped out of bed. Since he always slept dressed in his uniform, he just had to stick his boots on his feet – he didn’t even tie them – pick up his phone and get out of the dressing room.
Unarmed, he even made a first attempt to go to the area where the special forces were installed, to see if there were weapons, “but at that time everything was still locked.” He was in the middle of the explosions.
“I watched live two explosions and two buildings falling. About 100 meters away, a missile went straight into a barracks where people were, was destroyed, burned. The same thing happened in front of me in a building by the canteen.” I could feel the missiles going over him. “I’m not quite sure of the time, I think there were many for 30 minutes.”
Without weapons, he recalls, he went into hiding in the nearby forest, as the security protocol that was transmitted to them. He stood there, in the middle of the trees, where other colleagues were, until everything calmed down. “When the missiles were over, we returned to the base and were regrouped to see if there were dead, missing or injured. It took four hours to regroup and put together the defense plan.”
At the base there would be about 2000 in several companies, he estimates. These, based on the strategic plan defined, were spread over several points of defense of the base, that of N.S. was on the runway of helicopters. They were ordered to stay in line with the defense, “to defend the basis of the Russian attack that everyone believed was going to happen.” In the area where it was placed there would be about 200 volunteers, mostly unarmed. That’s when his distress and that of some other military personnel began. “We made ‘pools’ trying to get supplies and weapons.”
It was after he decided to abandon the Ukrainian army, leave the base and return home. “After the bombing, everyone in the army thought there was going to be a russian ground attack. And that’s why they told us to stay in lines of defense. I stood there, no gun, no vest, no helmet. I realized that I could not continue like this”, tells CNN Portugal the volunteer who prefers to keep discretion in his identification for fear of being confused with a mercenary, which he guarantees not to be. “My goal was to fight, and if I died, it would be a gun in my hand. So we were just cannon meat.” (read more)

She says that “The people of Mariupol are hoping that the prevailing force is.. RUSSIAN!!!”

Military skirmishes erupted across the heart of Mariupol’s city center, obstructing local efforts to rescue hundreds of people believed to be trapped in the basement of a theater struck by a bomb or missile Wednesday. Russia denied bombing the theater, which was being used to protect children.
‘The city is leveled to the ground,’ claimed a member of the Azov regiment that is defending Mariupol said Saturday on Telegram as tanks moved in and Russian forces continued to strike from the air.”
The Russian assault on Maruipol, the HQ of the murderous Ukranian nazi paramilitary group Azov Batallion, will not stop until those criminals cornered there surrender or be destroyed. Hopefully that will come soon! Then comes a ceasefire and the Peace Talks can begin. One of their group photos the mainstream media does NOT want you to see.

From all the ‘British Intelligence’ I’m reading in the media … all saying that Russian forces are “bogged down and losing the plot” … it appears as though our 17 US Intelligence Agencies have outsourced their work to the Brits. Just like they outsourced the Steele Report … to take-down, then neutralize, a sitting President … elected by The People.
Thats how our government officials “work” … they COPY other people’s work … then claim that it “sounds right”.
I have to admit that in recent days I have even started wondering whether Putin and Zelensky might be putting on a fake war. How else to account for Zelensky’s continued refusal to move forward with the neutrality deal offered by Putin in late February. It would only be necessary to work out the details of the independence for the Donbas states to insure real independence based on secure and transparent democratic elections (to protect against any Biden-type election stealing), and the end result would be everything that Zelensky could hope for.
Is he letting Ukraine be destroyed on a pie-in-the-sky hope that he can get Crimea back, the warm water port that Russia has always coveted and almost certainly would use nukes to retain? That would be inexplicable without his being an actual traitor to Ukraine.
Unless the war is actually a Potemkin war, staged for a purpose that Zelensky and Putin both highly desire: the de-Dollarization of the world economy.
Zelensky is a protege of Klaus Schwab of The Great Reset, who very much wants to end America’s privileged place in the world banking system, while Putin is for anything that weakens America. In particular he would love to see the end of the petro-dollar, to get out from under American power and influence.
We had already maximized dependence on Russian oil so all Putin and Zelensky had to do to insure rapid de-Dollarization was lure America into applying economic sanctions against Russia.
Or maybe they didn’t even have to lure the U.S. into this, as current U.S. president Barack Hussein Obama, now in his third term, also dearly wants for America to be destroyed. The only people they all had to lure are the American people, fooling us into siding with our own destruction, and our Democrat-controlled media are always glad to help with that.
I recall someone at State saying, we, too, want a new world order, but it will be different from the one Putin would install. If you go back to the 1930s, everyone from Churchill on down was praising Italy’s version of Fascism as clearly better than our own economic model. FDR installed wage and price controls, and sided with Stalin against Churchill on leaving Eastern Europe to the Soviets. I guess people who get a whiff of power become intoxicated with it, and would rather exercise more and more of it than uphold their oath or do what’s best for the people. Maybe ideologues sound more powerful because always claim to be the elites and gatekeepers to the wanna be elites, and have an echo chamber around them to praise them and castigate any opposition.
The OPA during the War was the the taste test, the sample. The fledgling bureaucratic tyrants loved it. Telling a citizen how much butter and gas they could have. Because good Americans wouldn’t otherwise conserve to save their Nation. A Bureaucratic heaven.

What’s the tab for the appropriations. $14 billion and another $800 million last week. Why would Zelensky want to stop the $$ flow. It’s not his ass on the line doing any fighting. And every week or so it’s another batch of $$ for his retirement account.

Basically, the article says Russia was already part of Globalism BEFORE the war. That the war in Ukraine has achieved for him a disconnect from globalism (while gaining assets left by western companies that are now abandoning Russia in the fake zeal of US patriotism) and cemented his alliance with China. That Russia and China are cementing an alliance against Globalists aka USA.
To me this makes sense. Although Putin participated in WEF training, who is to say he EVER agreed with them? Maybe he has been playing the Globalist in order to increase his wealth until the time he felt was right to break away? He has buddied up with China. Biden /WEF has been ramping up at a crazy pace so Putin sees the signs and know Biden is hamstrung to a certain extent and us weak. So, Putin invades Ukraine. Why would an intelligent person vote for a Uniparty?
A couple of days ago I talked to a person that lived at least the first 30 years of his life in the Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union, and I asked him if the Ukrainian language is different from Russian. His answer was an emphatic yes. He also mentioned that he used to teach at a high school in the Ukraine that does not exist any more, since it was bombed by the Russians in the current war. Wikipedia has an article on the languages of the Ukraine, with a map showing that an overwhelming majority of the Ukraine is Ukrainian speaker. It is also true that the Biden crime family and some American politicians did a tremendous damage to corrupt Ukrainian politics. I believe that Trump and Zelensky tried to clean things up, but simply there was not enough time to accomplish much.
I perfectly understand that the Ukraine does not want to be part of Russia or of a renewed Soviet Union. I also know about the holodomor of the 1930s in which Stalin starved to death about 5 million Ukrainians. Victor Korchnoi, the former Soviet chess grandmaster, born in Leningrad, professed himself to be Ukrainian and disliked the Russians. I had some personal friends that tried to talk to him in Russian in the 1960s, and Korchnoi, still living in the Soviet Union, changed to English, saying that he was Ukrainian, not Russian. I also remember the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, in which the USA, the UK, and Russia, agreed to guarantee the Ukraine’s territorial integrity in exchange for the Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons.

Most of western Ukraine was taken from Poland after WW2. Do they speak this unique Ukranian dialect?
I know, and before the first world war, a large part of Western Ukraine was part of Austria-Hungary, when Lviv was called Lemberg. The Soviet Union acquired the territory under the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, which divided Poland and other parts of Eastern Europe between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
I don’t know about “most” but some of it was. As a matter of fact, Eastern Ukraine as well as Kiev was conveyed to Russia by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1656 and confirmed in 1686. Catherine the Great got what was then Western Ukraine then the Soviets added to it. Incidentally, the Cossacks pled allegiance to Russia before the annexation in return for protection from the Turks.
Half of my ancestry is Polish -Lithuanian. It is very weird to look at maps throughout my lifetime and sometimes Lithuania is a country and sometimes its part of Russia. This crap has been going on in that part of the world for years. just saying.

If you were to wind back the clock a year and look at the news, Ukraine was rightly portrayed as one of the most corrupt countries on the planet and developing a serious neo-nazi problem.
Sure Ukrainians and Russians are different but they are a lot more similar than different having just diverged about 400 years or so ago. After the mongols were ejected, western Ukraine was ruled by the Polish – Lithuanian state and then by the Habsbergs after the partition of Poland. This is where they differ.
Also we in the west are only seeing the overwhelming amount of propaganda from the Ukrainians. There are tons of examples of outright fictionalized events and distorted truths being put out by them. Its only natural to look at that, and think why is there a need for it at all if things are so bad. Then you start thinking and wondering just what exactly is going on over there.
I don’t care what the laws are, if you find yourself living next to a legit gangster, you don’t go around poking him. While its of course Russia’s decision to start this, Ukrainian leadership failed epically to see their unique situation and plan appropriately. What are you interpreting as taking the Russian side? Being against the self-destructive steps has taken that hurt America more than they hurt Russia, and which actually benefit Russia? De-dollarization is a Putin objective, and Biden is doing it for him.
Contrast the positive form of economic leverage that Trump pioneered with Biden’s negative strategy.
Trump uncorked energy, deregulated everything he could, cut taxes, and started ending the one-sided trade deals that had driven most of our manufacturing overseas.
As our economy boomed Trump used the leverage from that economic strength to say, “cooperate with us and you get access to our economy.” It was an all-carrot strategy. The carrot was the carrot and the carrot was the stick. Trump didn’t try to de-bank anybody. The only thing he threatened to take away was partnership.
In addition to being very effective as a weapon, the great advantage of this strategy is that its use STRENGTHENED our economy. Trump used it compel fair trade, which helped us, and he used it as a substitute for military force, saving us huge amounts of money. Whenever anybody accepted his terms, our economy grew. He used strength to build strength.
Biden took immediate steps to crash our economy, destroying the value of our partnership and leaving him with only sticks, and sticks are self-defeating. De-banking leads to almost immediate de-Dollarization.

I was going to be done checking news and stuff today but, had to come back and comment after reading a breathless article on Bloomberg about the dangers of escalation if Russia accidently landed a shell on a NATO member’s territory or something and how top men are working the phones to avoid such things. An accident is way different than an attack. It’s kind of like saying if someone elbows you getting on a subway, you have the right to pull out a weapon and shoot them because you feared for your life or something. Even if it was deliberate and the person was a butt hole, the response should be proportional and if Christian ignored the first time. Facilitating the transport of NATO and American weaponry across their borders into Ukraine is certainly provocative and already resulted in a missile strike close to the border where weapons and training were being staged. If this war escalates, I believe with strong confidence that it will not be Putin escalating it. People allegedly on our side want this to escalate. If an explosion from an artillery shell or other weapon occurs on the border, will they bring out a referee to measure it and determine whether a war must start?

You know the funny thing? Every article I read, I keep seeing this “35 people” number bandied about as the number of people that died. I have a very strong feeling that more individuals died in this missile attack in W. Ukraine than the legacy media is letting on. Possibly to have plausible deniability. I’ve actually seen on social media – uniforms combined with a Tennessee flag (and a soldiers name), that soldiers on the Russian/DPR eastern front manage to seize. So there’s that.
Remember folks, the same people that had the money to magically build these labs in major Ukrainian cities (that is the Ukrainians, as they have told us) can not even manage to give the foreign fighters on their side significant ammunition. Says a lot. Ukraine is not a serious country.
Is possbile the Ukrainians are not using social media for fear of posts/comments being traced backed to them through technology?

Ukraine grid, and especially networks, telecom and internet have been severed in a widespread and dramatic way. One cannot just simply avoid noticing this reality. We can argue what caused it, but it still a reality.
the point being: of course we are not seeing the everyday shooting war being professionally and commercially produced.
We are induced that our war reporting apparatus post 9/11 is the expectation. But we do not have embedded press corps in Ukraine ALONG WITH the facility to get the data comms OUT! There is a big difference in this war.
If you want to see footage, you will have to lean into it and develop a vast working knowledge about how the information is getting out. And if your limits are based on what the main stream globalist maniacs are developing..you are going to be left wanting and confused (on purpose).

Rule #2 – if you want to KNOW the facts about a conflict zone. Either you have a trusted friend IN COUNTRY you can lean on and depend on…Or suit up, get your behind over there and pick up the slack yourself.
