Col Douglas Macgregor appeared for a sit-down interview with Tucker Carlson tonight to discuss the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
So far, Macgregor is the one who has been the most accurate in his assessments when compared to the results on the ground in Ukraine. If what Macgregor outlines in this interview is correct, and there’s no reason to believe it isn’t, then President Putin has been planning this operation for a long time.
As the multinational corporations, multinational banks, collective corporate and political west along with the EU, NATO and media, tell Ukraine to keep fighting, it appears Russia is moving through a methodical plan they have no hope of stopping. This would explain why the Russian convoys are pausing before going hardcore on the cities and population centers. WATCH:
Interesting thread by Glenn Greenwald. At the end he links to an interview with John Mearsheimer (that Putin’s aggression toward Ukraine is caused by Western intervention) which was also an interesting read.

Glenn Greenwald@ggreenwald
Again, one of the most baffling aspects of current discourse — a sign of how dissent is demonized — is the claim that it’s a new “pro-Putin” talking point to say NATO expansion is threatening to all Russians.
This thread shows: this view has long been mainstream in the West👇

Gorka went after MacGregor a long time ago on Laura Ingraham’s show. Was totally out of line as it looked like Gorka was schilling for the war criminal Neocons who love to get America into wars
MacGregor vs Gorka
What does the US accomplish by striking Syria?
this was before any of them knew Pompeo went al haig.
Gorka goes after the host. lol
This is Gorka’s calling card….the guy is trying to overcompensate for ……?
And how dare Gen McGregor question the ultimate patriot Gen Mattis!!
Had to be difficult for Gen McGregor to have to sit there with the clowns.
Correction: Col MacGregor.
Gorka gets that way, he’s a bit of a hothead. Lol
Col. MacGregor sounds reasonable every time I hear him speak.
I’m always more suspicious of General Keane.
Gorka is not really Maga imho. He fancies himself in the role of William F. Buckley, Jr. purging the conservative movement of those who offend his party orthodoxy. Perhaps he is also CIA?
He is as humorless as a radical leftist. He is all in for purging people that well Rona Romney wouldn’t like.
I am extremely humorless. Because I am worried to death about this country. But I’m not a grifter. I am a conservative man who has worried for 40 years, since I was 6, about nuclear war and what is unfolding now. Yes, 6 years old.
Gorka needs punched in the face.
You should have been around in the early ’50s as a six-year-old! Rising prosperity within a shell of subconscious terror.
One tour in Vietnam, a keen lifelong interest in world history, and fifty years later it goes beyond worry and into a soft
capitulation to the reality that humans are truly incapable of learning from their own history.
Oh, and yeah; Get off my lawn…
Great post.
Same here. Born in 53, grew up in a small farm town, spent a year and a half touring Southeast Asia, beyond worrying and mad as hell. But ain’t capitulated yet! And yeah….keep that dog off my lawn too!! 🙂
My dad was in the National Guard and was mobilized during the Cuban Missile Crisis, didn’t know where he was for weeks.
Those white painted rocks? Lawn art! (Not range markers…)
Lol!! Mine May be!🙂👍
Born in 48 and watched my generation of young men get used as cannon fodder in Viet Nam. Bless you and yours.
Rhodesia was always grateful for the numerous US Viet Nam Vets who joined the Rhodesian Christian security forces in its fight against Globalism/communism sponsored by the UN/US/UK/China/Soviet Union/Cuba backed terrorists.
You too Brother.
In second grade we ducked under our little oak desks as the teacher pulled blast curtains over the windows. I remember thinking…this won’t help me at all. And I lived in the DC beltway.
Yeah. We’d see on TV that one clip they’d always show with the mushroom cloud and then some buildings that get blown back and then blown forward and blown up. You know the one.
And we under these old iron framed student desks (we’re talking depression era wrought iron with inkwell holders. and the top folded up to store stuff in). Yeah that’s going to stop something that I just watched blow a building to smithereens. And it’s not just the blast it’s the flame front. That to me was the scary part. I read about people’s shadows being left on that bridge in Hiroshima? Yeah. That’s what we were gonna be a shadown on a brick wall if we were lucky.
So frankly i’m not happy with putin. There are so many other things he could’ve done to get what I assume he wanted but he figures he can do this now because Biden’s an empty suit and he’s facing not one leader but a committee and committees don’t win wars.
But I will get a bit angry if we send so much as an advisor over there. Give them anything they want. Either one. Ukraine or Russia. Let them pound it out. But we’re not going to participate.
“Duck and Cover”
I remember that.
The task of learning from history wouldn’t be so difficult if successive generations did not try to hide the truth about history for their own vile political gain.
For instance, the Western world today knows well of the Nazi holocaust and is certain it does not want to repeat such a chapter. But those that crammed Zazi- themed films into us (some of my favorites when growing up!), and that have harped incessantly on this topic, also assiduously hid the horrors of communism almost entirely from the Western world.
This is the only reason we are in this predicament, i.e. the unknown horrors of communism have now begotten neo-communism, an unconscionable and unforgivable development caused by those who deliberately gained politically from this distortion of history which has left a glaring, dangerous and combustible gap in the world’s understanding of politics and society.
Well that is part of it. Most people don’t want to bother to learn. It happened some time before them and they have no way to relate. Or don’t want to. Our history isn’t hidden. But you do have to look for it and look for it in more than just a few places. Or you won’t get the full view.
And you have to read about ancient history also to contrast and compare with what was done ages ago to what was done a century ago, or a decade ago. That gives you some depth and an idea that things don’t change much over all. I think rapidity has. The spread of info has widened. But most people are more concerned with their local problems. And those always are quickly come by.
And it can’t be hidden like distant news can.
the old line “Stalin was just as bad”
Factually, Stalin and Mao killed far more innocent people than Hitler but the constant indoctrination of Hitler being the worst of the worst allowed Communism to take root post WWII. We sided with the Commies to defeat the Nazis and look where it got us.I shouldn’t have to say it but I don’t think America should’ve sided with the Axis. Like most Americans at the time, I believe it wasn’t our fight just like Ukraine.
I’ve often thought about history might have been different if the USA had an anti-communist in the White House during WWII. The Machiavellian corse would have been to support The Soviet Union just enough to hemorrhage Germany but leave the USSR at the brink of survival instead of handing over half of Europe for enslavement behind an iron curtain.
I did take Russian studies/history in school. The teacher was retired Naval officer. And I also took American History and other classes he taught. He was a great teacher.
This was before the wall came down. We were taught about communism. Exactly what communism really meant for the people. The youngsters now just have no idea how bad it is.
I have somewhat kept up with what was going on in Russia.
To hear some of the garbage being said is just embarrassing. Especially if
younger people are saying. I have read people calling Russia Communist, Dictator, totalitarian…blah blah blah. Some statements so ludicrous they are not worth repeating
Then I paused and thought about it..
Too many people in our country don’t even know the basic civics taught in our Public Education system….
Probably unrealistic to believe they know anything about Russia.
It is really sad. It is actually embarrassing.
Correct … it started with Adam & Eve … they allowed Satan to convince them to throw away the perfect Garden Paradise God gave them.
Indeed. Well said.
I was there and it has never left my psychie.
Mike I hope for your sake you can find peace. That is a long time to worry about something.
I think maybe he’s like me in that I’m not a worrier. I will think about a situation now and then as it becomes important to me. And I evaluate it and if it’s concerning then I’ll revisit it more often. To me that’s worrying. I don’t dwell which is what most people do.
I learned patience and thus know that some things never happen that looked sure to and other things happen that no one thought of at all and never would’ve. But patience will always pay off no matter which happens.
My Grandmother always said “Worrying is interest paid on money never borrowed”.
Sad. I used to worry too….about where we enjoying life everyday. And hoping to have some beers afterwork. No more…retired and a beachbum. Life’s short. Cheers.
Stonewall Jackson:
“Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time of my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.”
After reading a couple Jackson biographies I found he did more for my faith than almost all preachers. He is partly why I am now a Presbyterian.
If Putin is near his end, as in some medical issue will lead to his demise shortly, I’d say you have a concern….other than that, no nuke war starting anytime soon…
PS – it would take a WHOLE LOT to spin up special weapons and target the world community, I don’t think you have anything to worry about for quite a while…..when the lefties infiltrate everything in our lives, now you have something to worry about…aka AOC and her ilk…..it’ll be time to starting shooting lefties at that point
Then the new question will be—-who will the Russian people elect then-if Putin were to pass away.
It is put out there periodically he may not run for President again.
As I looked at just the recent parties running against him…I shuddered.
Now THAT is something I DO worry about.!!
The legislative body does appear to be majority of pro Putin.
The duck and cover started when I was a child and the Cuban missile crisis haunts me to this day. I’m having the same edgey feeling right now.
My saying is take me out first and take me out fast!
Watched clip of Macron and Putin.
Putin said–there are no winners in a nuclear war.
Cia..
Gorka was on Trump’s bandwagon here! You have to remember how Trump was constantly under attack.
But, Col.
MacGregor really sounds like a truthteller . It is sometimes painful to hear the truth. There is often manipulation of intelligence to gain a desired outcome politically.
Again painfully, Zelenskyy should have negotiated with Putin for the eastern provinces and spared the lives of Ukranian troops. Ukraine can remain a sovereign, neutral nation.
That will not please our grifting, corrupt politicians or corrupt CIA. It is their influence which brought Putin in to nab the east.
Zelemsky was likely offered a deal he couldn’t refuse by the globalist mafia. As in do as your told or get Kadaffi’ed.
I think we will see Zelensky will end up a wealthy man come what may. And after all doesn’t he have to play their game? He has no card to play.
Ya think?
That’s how it works in Ukraine.
Chuckle….they have been known to overthrow their government.
So have the Russians.
He has neither the guile nor the wit for it.
Public evidence supporting Gorka being MAGA is significant……. I am thinking you have no clue what you are talking about… if you want to throw it against the wall and see if it sticks, have a ball….it’ll be good entertainment.
Mattis turned out to be a POS.
Sadly, yes. So true.
A general who won every battle and then lost his reputation. Forever. Pathetic.
Yep, it’s bizarre to me how shallow he turned out? I grew up idolizing people like him…. Even if i were serving under someone i hate (Soetoro), can’t imagine stabbing them in the back at the first chance?
In my opinion you can’t rise to a high level in any corrupt organization w/o being a little full of BS if not complicit.
Not bizarre to me. A man who sends soldiers to die and allows himself the moniker “mad-dog” is easily spotted. An empty suit. I hated this pick of Trump’s from day one. I did not at all see that it foretold of so many more bad picks.
Mattis was always a fake and a weirdo. Many of my Marine brothers know and despise him. His bullshit persona/cult of personality was just that — bullshit. Funny how so many fakes were exposed during the Trump presidency. I have to admit that before then, I too thought Mattis was the real deal.
By the way, you would be surprised (or maybe not) at how many Marine generals go on foreign country and foreign company (same thing) payrolls after they retire.
John Allen too — Marines are like any group of people: some good, some not so much…
Gorka has notoriously thin skin. The guy is cosmically obnoxious, and should be kept at arms length.
True, but at least he’s OUR obnoxious guy…
The United States forces completely wiped out a Russian expeditionary force in Syria…wiped them out. No survivors. Because of that quick and deadly strike, Russia pulled its troops from the field, abandoned Syria. What did we accomplish? Well, Russia has been quite silent, rebuked, since.
Of course, that is, until the current occupiers of the White House projected their utter incompetence.
But, thank you for your post. I had forgotten how full of it Col. MacGregor is.
.
Trump took action in Syria to make a point to bad guys the world over. It was actually irrelevant to Syria. Not all that different from eating chocolate cake with Xi at Mar-a-Lago while dropping a MOAB in Afghanistan.
These are negotiation or posturing nuances that don’t work if you publicly announce what you are really doing.
MacGregor was totally correct about what was going on in Syria. Gorka was unhinged and very defensive of Trump but having to spout bs in order to do that. I have no idea whether either or both men understood what Trump was doing (I suspect they did) but some things just cannot be explained on TV.
.
You speak of “nuance” whilst I speak of dead Russians? OK, I’ll play…
Which, doya suppose, is more meaningful to the thugs of the world? I posit that neither Putin nor Xi comprehend “nuance” in the polite sense. They unmistakeably comprehend a quick punch in the mouth.
Now, since you brought up the murderous CCP, you are aware that Japan has a mutual defense treaty with Taiwan, right? And that Japan has been quietly building up its defense capabilities for decades. To a point that the PRC would be annihilated if it chose to invade Taiwan. Perhaps as large as they took in ‘79 from Vietnam. Xi is many things, but delusional is not high on the list.
.
I think you missed my point, but that’s okay.
Japan has been quietly building up their capabilities with a great deal of help from us..
Would have been nice to hear more from MacGregor on this subject, but the others kept on yapping.
Gorka’s Hungarian. His parents were oppressed under Soviet communism and fled to the West. It may be a little personal with him and Russia. It’s easier for MacGregor to step away, disentangle emotions, and look at the cold geopolitical situation.
The Islamic Republic of Iran controls Syria where much of its militia forces are. Syria has always been their proxy, and Iran and Syria are part members of the BRICS alliance of nations. The CCP will support Putin’s Russian Federation and would benefit from the excuse a war with the West to launch their long planned invasion of Taiwan. The Islamic Republic of Iran who have built a main transportation route through Iraq and Syria from Tehran to Beirut could then use the opportunity to cross the Golan Heights, across the Jezreel Valley to the port of Haifa in northern Israel. There already is a large Russian Federation naval base in Tartus, Syria. Ezekiel 38 war and opening of the 6th Seal?
“Therefore, Son of Adam, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord Yehovah: “On that day when my people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.” ~ Ezekiel 38.14-15
“I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all my mountains,” says the Lord Yehovah. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.” ~ Ezekiel 38.21-22
I watched as he opened the Sixth Seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.” ~ APOKALYPSIS 6.12-14
Considering that most of the U.S. population resides on both east and west coastlines . . .

What the hell is this? More global warming horse puckey?
Her show is the classic “Swamp” republican show……stopped watching her 4 years ago. Wasting your time pal…. 🙂
Didn’t Trump fire Gorka?
Gorka and his fake, contrived British accent……
Gorkas a gasbag. With overemphasized “Queens English”, etc. I have no doubt that his family suffered under Communism, but what good is he?
Does he raise money for MAGA causes? Or anybody but himself? Anything?
I just saw LTC DANIEL L. DAVIS (retired) on FOX on the internet talking about Ukraine. Like Macgregor he talks sense. That’s probably we he, like Macgregor never “made” general. He “blew the whistle” on the lies on Afghanistan and is now doing it on Ukraine.
This following was from over 10 years ago and obviously, the lies never stopped –
Truth, lies and Afghanistan
How military leaders have let us down
BY LT. COL. DANIEL L. DAVIS
Truth, lies and Afghanistan – February 2012 – Armed Forces Journal – Military Strategy, Global Defense Strategy
https://web.archive.org/web/20120402210106/http://armedforcesjournal.com/2012/02/8904030
Concluding section –
“TELL THE TRUTH
When it comes to deciding what matters are worth plunging our nation into war and which are not, our senior leaders owe it to the nation and to the uniformed members to be candid — graphically, if necessary — in telling them what’s at stake and how expensive potential success is likely to be. U.S. citizens and their elected representatives can decide if the risk to blood and treasure is worth it.
Likewise when having to decide whether to continue a war, alter its aims or to close off a campaign that cannot be won at an acceptable price, our senior leaders have an obligation to tell Congress and American people the unvarnished truth and let the people decide what course of action to choose.
That is the very essence of civilian control of the military. The American people deserve better than what they’ve gotten from their senior uniformed leaders over the last number of years. Simply telling the truth would be a good start.”
The over reach is obvious to all but Team Neocon.
Colonel McGregor smiled and deferred from answering the question, “why is no one talking about China”. China essentially owns the US media, politicians, tech giants and our global businesses. Too many US leaders have sold their souls to China.
Exactly. I am wondering just how our fake news and deep state will spin it when China takes Taiwan. I am sure China will work with their flunkies in the White House and State Department to create an alternate reality narrative before they take Taiwan over, just curious as hell as to how they spin the lie.
So has every American. Just bought a set of files from Home Depot 14 bucks, made in China. US corporations sold their soul to China and we buy stuff made by Chinese labor, lots of it.
I try to find USA made – long searches on the interwebs – it ain’t that easy. Makes me mad as he**.
They typically have poor quality of craftsmanship and materials. This is why I invest in vintage “Made in America” tools whenever possible.
If you can find older Nicholson files, they were made in the USA. Recently I have seen them from other countries, but not China. I could be incorrect in that second statement.
Chinese Slave Labor…
I’ve been saying this for years – Why is Russia always in the news? So we don’t look at China.
In long term strategic terms, who is the long term winner of a conflict between the West and Russia?
In my view it is China, as this conflict weakens both of it’s main competitors.
Your right !
US and a fight with Russia–
Would only benefit China!
Both sides would have depleted military.
Timing would be perfect!
You just got another hamster on wheel going on in my brain.
They sold their mortal selves to China. Satan holds the papers on their souls.
.
Because Trump’s actions in Syria actually were intended to send a message to China. Please see my comment above.
.
The Russian army in Ukraine is grabbing more territory every day and will destroy the Ukrainian resistance and over time mitigate the foreign interference against it, largely because everything the Nowhere Man (Joe Biden) touch will become a disaster WATCH & SEE https://515loupe.com/2022/03/02/515-loupe-3-1-2022/
He’s a real Control Freak Man
Ruling in what he wants to be a vassal land
Making all his controlling plans
For everybody
About Control Freak Man we should all worry
To destroy all America built he is in a hurry
If he controls everything his fascist way
It will be a forlorn day
Hes going to leave it all a mess
Anyone of sound mind must confess
He’s a real Control Freak Man
Ruling in what he wants to be a vassal land
Making all his controlling plans
For everybody
Putin or Biden? Both?
Nowhere Man………………………………..#0bamagate
Biden is my guess
and that is the plan, then Poohteen is the villain
With each passing day, it’s the galling, overwhelming arrogance of Joe Biden that is coming through. This obnoxious, mendacious, two-bit tyrant truly believes he’s smarter than everyone else–a dangerous situation as he smiles away with that silly grin, which is his constant defense mechanism against the outrage he knows his policies cause…yet he cares not a whit!
i dont think he thinks he is actually smarter.
He has been faking his way through life for 80 years and getting away with it.
He has the s-eating grin of someone who is proud for pulling the wool over your eyes, as in ‘those rubes, they’ll never catch me.’
he is a flim-flam man, who cannot pronounce flim flam
Or his dentures will fall out…
This is a direct attack (one of many) against the globalist elite ‘Climate Change’ agenda.
fwiw, I’m on the side of Vlad Putin.
I prefer vodka too!
We’ve needlessly poked the bear by threatening to bring Ukraine into NATO undermining the status quo of Ukraine as a buffer state between Europe and Russia. Under this status quo, everything was fine, at least from a national security viewpoint for both Europe and Russia.
Putin cannot afford for Ukraine, which touches its border, go to NATO.
No different than Khrushchev putting nukes in to Cuba.
I am not discounting at all the overlap in those moving the martinets. I have been calling it our version of ‘Nuremberg 2’
Not so sure about that.
The Russian oligarchs fund the Green Parties in the west, to hobble fossil fuels production and make us dependent on Russian oil & gas.
True! Quite convenient!
That is simplistic.
Add to that Soros, Gore, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, and the rest of the US oligarchs.
Yes, start calling them oligarchs.
The media made heroes of Zelensky and the Ukraine resistance. Ultimately they will be the cause of massive casualties and collateral damage.
What disappoints me is how easily many conservatives has bought the Media narrative “Putin bad”. It is easily understood what it is many Americans bought the “Trump bad”.
There can be no denying so many people are in fact just plain “dumb and stupid”.
Ignorance is an even bigger problem, and I don’t mean that as a pejorative but in its simple meaning of not knowing things. All of us are ignorant about most things and it makes it much easier for evil people to manipulate us. Part of it is we have been safe with strong borders north and south and two oceans separating us from dangerous enemies for so long we got lazy. The good times are over and we need to up our game if we are to survive the cataclysm these globalist vultures are bringing down upon our heads.
Ditto. Americans are ‘suffering’ from absurd, insane, unimaginable abundance and lives of ease… If ‘wisdom comes from suffering’, then there’s no way that many Americans have any… I’m sure similar to what led to the fall of Rome.
It’s not that hard to “right” on most things. By “right” I mean “not fooled”. People largely want to be fooled.
The people in the USA have been indoctrinated with Russian leader bad since at least my grade school days (early/mid 1960s) Some of those people are truly bad. The way it is stated is that all of Russia is bad. We should be blaming the people that are making these bad policies instead of blaming every living soul in the country. Don’t demonize the populace but demonize the individual. I know my wording is clumsy but I hope I got my point across.
Russia is not on the globalist bandwagon.
They probably don’t teach CRT and that trans-nonsense in Russian schools.
IMO Evil Grooming 101 is the norm in US schools.
https://abigailshrier.substack.com/p/how-activist-teachers-recruit-kids?s=r
Same with us!
Goodness–I don’t want people to judge me personally because of idiot Biden….
The GOP Senate infomercial made me puke…
Because of decades of indoctrination of USSR bad, USA good.
Yes, Zelensky’s job currently is to get to the end game, Eastern Ukraine as a buffer zone, with as little damage as possible to Ukraine. That’s his job. Not posting selfies on the socials.
It appeared in the early stages of this, he was trying to do exactly that until the US oligarchs told him how the cow ate the cabbage.
Then he noticeably changed his headwinds.
The euro weenie waterboarding is real. The Greek pm(?) during the euro crisis said he gave in because it was basically torture. I’m guessing the US version is just as bad.
Putin will crush these poor people. We will do nothing to help them.
They don’t care about culpability or blood on their hands.
Again.
This is not first time we have done this in Ukraine. Noland, McCain,
Day 6
Observations from D+6:
As the RU military transitions into its conventional military doctrine, i.e. indiscriminate bombing of anything that lay in front of the advance units, we start getting video of just how that looks. Kharkiv is case in point.
Kharkiv is important since it is one of the 4 separate “independent enclaves” that the RU/Belarusian “liberators” plan for Ukraine after their “successful” war effort. The manner in which this game is played is that the RU Army takes control of Karkhiv, installs a friendly governor who then declares the Kharkiv region’s independence. The next move is to sign a protection pact with the Russians and voila.
So this is the reason behind intense carpet bombing of anything that moves in Kharkiv.
On a more positive note, it appears that NATO has full electronic control over Ukraine. What this means is that NATO knows exactly who is where and how much of it is out there. Think “Chinese credit score” and real time monitoring of military personnel.
The RU air defense/air cover is very primitive and cannot control its airspace. This places any resupply convoy at risk of air attacks (fixed wing and drone). The only manner in which the RU can protect these resupply convoys is to have their operation radar surveillance turned on. This allows NATO to monitor them in real time. So lose/lose. The only question is how will the UK air get through.
Furthermore, it turns out that operational security (OpSec) is nonexistent on the RU side. Civilians (?) are driving around and identifying units and tracking their movement. This info is relayed in real time through direct contact with NATO and/or social media sites.
A rather telling aside. Yesterday, one of the three RU military satellites was shut down for several hours. This created a situation where the Command Center (Moscow) lost total communications with the Northern Army outside of Kiev. The most likely explanation was that NATO was testing its electronic control capability over the area. If this is the case, the test was a smashing success.
Therefore, if anyone is interested in understanding the real lay of the land, following twitter sites of individuals who are doing real time analysis of the situation on the ground allows to lift a lot of fog. There information is as good as that of the generals at NATO or in the 5 sided building across the pond.
The caveat in this real time info gathering/analyzing is the ban of personal phones in the line units of the UK army. This therefore does not allow for the tracking of losses of military assets at the front lines. Here one needs to rely on official information, with all of its “shortcomings”.
However, from the information gained in the rear of the lines, a one positive picture that is developing and being confirmed, is the observation that not only is the RU army losing a “staggering” number of military equipment, but RU Army units are abandoning their military equipment or outright sabotaging it. See the damaged/abandoned ratio below.
Not to create any false hopes here, the situation is still bad. RU Army mass is huge. In the Crimean sector, the situation is dire. In Kiev, it looks better, with those same “military experts”, those who were predicting the UK Army would lay down their arms hours after the invasion, are now predicting 30 to 60 days to capture Kiev.
Having said the above, by far the best news from Ukraine is as follows: the morale of the citizenry is at max levels. There are reports that the problem with citizen soldier numbers is not that bad. The bad side is that there are problems with ammunition supplies/training here. Moreover, there are civilian citizens confronting RU army convoys and units and not letting them pass. Amazing!!!!! Thank GOD for cameras in phones!
All in all, there appears to be a national uprising! Just for comparison sake, the Warsaw Uprising against the combined German/Russian armies (one on the east bank of the Vistula and the other on the west bank) lasted for 44 days. The UK are in a much better position than were those defenders 78 years earlier.
To this end, former Warsaw Pact members are emptying their stockpiles of ammo and sending it to the Ukrainians. The transports are getting through up to now. The key will be to keep the supply avenues/air corridors under UK control.
And here is the more detailed summary from militaryland.net : https://militaryland.net/ukraine/invasion-day-6-summary/
Overnight developments
– The UK Army is still putting up stiff resistance.
– With exception to the Crimea Front, all other fronts survived last night’s bombings and are stable.
– Having said the above, the first major UK city fell into the hands of RU
– Estonian military calculated that the RU are spending $20b on this war daily. (Divide by half in these types of estimates is the rule of thumb.)
– A fog of war has descended on the 70 aircraft for UK air force. There have been reports that NATO has blocked this for now. Other reports claim that the “blockage” is a diversion, while they are headed over through back channel. Don’t know, waiting for confirm.
– More reports of UK locals “picking up” abandoned RU military equipment from the roads. Heavy lift cranes are now appearing and lifting the vehicles onto flatbed trucks.
The second wave of the invasion is in Ukraine proper. US DoD estimates that 80% of military assets are engaged. That would put the number of troops at 140k to 160k. The wild card is what the Belarusians will do. Rumors that they are deploying 4 mechanized brigades so roughly 20k boots on the ground more.
There is a major operational threat that is appearing at present to the RU Army and it involves the 40 mile convoy heading toward Kiev. As one analyst put it, “this is not an Army, this is a traffic jam”. The first opportunity is that NATO ( Awacs in the air) could close the airspace over Ukraine/Belarus and open that convoy up to destruction. This would then deprive the siege force preparing to level Kiev to the ground (conventional Soviet/Russian military doctrine) without ammo, fuel and food.
Need to keep eye on this, since this could end the war rather quickly if NATO decides to enter the fray while this opportunity still presents itself.
And finally, the metric that I have been following lately is the military equipment damaged to abandoned ratio. This ratio indicates the number of vehicles/aircraft that were destroyed as opposed to abandoned.
After yesterday the ration for damaged/abandoned from the last tally (7 hours ago) for all RU military equipment stands at stands at 1.65 (177/107) and damaged/captured 1.35 (177/131). What this means is that as this ratio approaches 1.00, it will mean that the number of military equipments damaged will equal that which is abandoned or captured.
Anything under one will indicate mass disintegration of RU Army units – at least in the rear areas that can be monitored in real time. (Oryx is source)

And leaving off, here is the manner in which the Ukrainian population is taking advantage of the present situation:
Excellent up date, and thanks for that!
Sorry but it’s half speculation and half propaganda … no facts
Yep, it is really hard to know what is going on.
I only include the stuff that is on a thread and most of the time geolocated 🙂
If it is not, I mention that it’s an “observation”…. but most of that is from the source threads listed above.
Oh, and I try to stay away from the propoganda.
As far as “the facts” are concerned, if you need a reference just ask me…
“Fog of War” applies BUT reasoned speculation using these varied sources likely tells a seasoned sleuth something more than what TV does which is simple a narrative production.
Lot of propaganda out there.
I skimmed your data, and the character and content is far too detailed to be trustworthy. Macgregor appears to be sticking to strategy and things we do know, and not attempting to see through the fog of war. Maybe you’re able to see through the fog, and analyze tactically the situation, but my instincts and experience say you can’t, and that your observations are suspect.
I look at it this way. Macgregor made predictions, so we’ll know whether he is of any use. His name is on the line. This is a rare thing. I haven’t a clue whether he is correct.
The Twitter and similar tech sewers are the biggest source of misinformation and outright deceptions that you could find. Good luck sorting through the scammers and propagandists to find the ‘reality’ of what is happening.
Never trust twitter since they kicked President Trump off.
When I watch claims of captured/destroyed Russian equipment I’m skeptical. They often lack the IFF markings used by the Russian Army. (Markings clearly visible on vehicles in satellite images of the Russian side of the contact line.) Many of the tanks are the exact models used by Ukraine with older contact 1 blocks that make them more likely Ukrainian than Russian. Lastly the coverage seems to be very one sided with a bias towards Ukraine.
Wow, great wrap up! Seriously, you should be a guest on a non-state controlled podcast. Thank you!
.
If NATO “enters the fray”? WTH? That is as likely to ignite WWIII as to “end the war rather quickly”.
.
The United States Military Industrial Complex wants Cold War Two.
And it’s going to get it, and it’s going to get massive funding for it.
And we’re going to have nuclear missiles aimed at us again.
Europe and Russia are now cleaved. And the United States has made Russia into an enemy.
All unnecessary.
But General Electric (GE) who “brings good things to life” (and also makes atomic bombs) . . . will be making even more money.
Another win for the military industrial complex, and another loss for the people of the world.
There are going to be a lot of changes over the next 3-weeks and Trump is going to be in the middle of it. The people are not going to be lost. Right now the two main people in the World for the World are Trump and Putin. It is my belief Trump and Putin will be instrumental for saving the World as we the People want the World to be for us….peace and freedom.
When the MSM is against something, we should be for it. Nothing that comes from the News Actors has anything to do with the news or truth. Use the antonym rule when watching, listening or reading, up is down left is right and so on. Same goes for all uniparty swamp rats.
antonym rule yes
The public needs to know which politicians, their family members and cronies are benefitting financially from arms manufacturers and how much money is involved. These kind of links should disqualify a person from politics.
One of President Trump’s actions was to ban politicians from leaving and becoming lobbyists for several years, which is one of the reasons the DC Cartel hates him.
All of them. It’s an election year.
China is smiling at the thought of us battling each other.
What happens when US and Russia have a depleted military?
Who wins without firing a shot?
Gorka’s radio commercials for the stupid pain relief con should be enough to tell you where he comes from.
That stuff doesn’t even work.
With respect to the Ukrainian Uprising mentioned earlier, here is how that looks in Starobilsk, Luhansk region.
If you recall, this is the region that the Russian Army is “liberating” and was in one of the breakaway “Russian” enclaves.
Scenes like this remind me of the scene in the Godfather II, where Michael Corleone observed the Cuban revolutionary “blowing himself up for the cause”…

If you look at a map. The town you reference is in an area controlled by Ukraine, not the separatists. Not surprising that only loyalists are out and about. Not very many of them either.
Using Twitter as your source material does not lend an air of credibility to your opinion:)
Thank you. We seem to have some globalist cheerleaders here. I am surprised by the power of this latest narrative spin, i.e. Russia bad! Ukraine new George Floyd! Woke! Do it for the children! Everyone on the planet is rallying to Ukraine to fight! Rocky IV! Yeah. God, it makes me ill to watch. These people seem to be living vicariously through the new saint Ukraine.
I love vodka! Russin vodka.
Okay calm down comrade. Lol

Wait, but….wait- how are they walking around with Ukrainian flags without being mowed down by Russians? I mean, according to the rhetoric it’s nothing but total death and destruction.
Great point!!!!

Was Biden smart with his offer to Ukraine joining NATO and thus goading Putin to attack Ukraine? I don’t think so. I think Putin with his silent in the background side-kick Trump are going to destroy The most corrupt, counterfeit and crooked Country in the World….Ukraine.
Sarc?
This is what I am hoping for.
Going out on a 25″ oak limb now; I think JB is just a pawn in this. They give him notes of what to think and what to say – while handlers and family keep abreast for ‘opportunities.’ I watched Putin’s give his speech to the Nation. @1-hr pure extemporaneous talking; historical and current perspectives of Russia, Ukraine, USSR, NATO, EU and Western powers as it relates to today’s events. No notes, no teleprompter. Love him or hate him, he is as sharp as a razor and smart as a fox. Maybe that is why you have to hunt for it online.
If they impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine they’re asking for WW3 IMO.
Not too far off from what the analysts are seeing…
That’s funny, given the fact that Zelensky appears to be all of about 4’11” in real life.
With heals or without?
Wonder if Zelenskyy realizes that the exact same people that are building him up, are the exact same people that will tear him down. 🙄
Zelenskyy is in a tough spot. Not sure what i would do in his place.

Chuckle..you are so right.
I think that’s why he is still negotiating. He’s caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. He was always a puppet, and now he’s doing his best to not appear to be one.
The whole, I was offered a plane ride out, but I’m staying, give me help is all part of the con to get Ukraine into the EU and NATO.
I Ron Klain paying you by the post? Or are you on salary?
No and No.
I’ll tell you a story.
It was September 2016 and clients were asking us about the outcome of the US Presidential election.
Our company analysts were using election polls produced by Reuters (Clinton +12)
On the other hand, I was looking at Rasmussen and LA Time (Trump even to +2).
So we all found ourselves sitting at meetings and asking ourselves: how could this be?
Someone had the bright idea to start looking for open source info that could provide some granular data in order to determine which of the two above was more correct. (could be tested)
This is when we stumbled onto the People’s Pundit (Rich Baris) who was doing granular analysis of the election , all the way down to the precincts. And his work indicated that Rasmussen and LT Time were closer to reality than Reuters.
Now, that was hard to accept since… wait for it… Reuters’ business model is selling objective market data.
And as we now know, when reality reconciled, it reconciled to Rasmussen, LATimes and Baris.
So now, when I see a situation like the Ukrainian war, I go to the analysts that are providing the granual data.
And only after I see the granular data, do I go and make an interpretation.
And just to provide full transparancy, I provide the sources which I consider to be the most accurate.
Therefore, I think that my approach is at least honest and free of emotions…
As to why I post, it is because I notice a lot of questionable/emotional commentary on this subject.
So I try to at least indicate that there could be a better way to come to an informed decision.
As to this particular subject, I personally think that the world changed last Thursday.
I don’t know what will happen next, but I do know one thing…
… there is no going back to the world as it was.

You are right! One that is getting ready to bite.
Why would Putin/Russia need to take part in the ‘propaganda war’? 🤔
There is no need to respond, just take the arrows of misinformation. Let it play out.
Time is on Putin’s side.
Its not right for Putin to target innocent civilians
He could have targeted the ones he thinks are responsible for this
I mean in the past he targeted Litvinenko, Berezovsky, the Skripals etc etc
He could have gone after Hillary and the cabal causing this
I’m sorry but seeing all those dead children makes me angry
This is morally wrong to do this
Are you referring to the dead children mistaken as bad guys in Afghanistan? The translator and his kids? You know, ordered to be murdered by drone by Biden?
Or are you referring to all the dead children around the middle east, you know where the U.S. has been occupying for over 25 years now?
Because real kids died there. Im skeptical about Ukrainian kids- once the msm and social media is caught using old footage and old pics sold as current, nothing after that point can be believed.
Dwayne, I am 100% with you. You couldn’t have said it better. Also, how many kids will die from reckless Ukrainian fire thanks to that idiot Zelensky handing out military weapons to every thug in Ukraine. Watched Oliver Stone’s Ukraine on Fire last night. Great context.
Ukraine on Fire – YouTube
Zelensky released prisoners with combat experience and armed them. When they were arming citizens they effectively armed several gangs which immediately started a fire fight.
Fun fact KillNet Russias version of Anonymous hacked Anonymous yesterday, took their page down and then took down Ukrainian Goverments page.

Did you not watch the video above? He intentionally slowed the taking of those areas to minimize civilian collateral damage.
Where was your outrage when we did the same thing to Iraq, Afghanistan,Japan- Hiroshima, Nagasaki-, Vietnam, Syria, Libya, Venezuela and Cuba. Russia has the same right to protect their national security as we did.
Cut The Cord! TV is the enemy.
Did you say that about the US when we were in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan?
…Or the 55 million+ babies already murdered thru abortion?
MacGregor gives one of the best analyses you will hear on MSM, and is pretty much spot on with what he is saying. The promises to Ukraine to become a part of NATO has been ‘poking the bear’ for a long time. As we have seen in the past, Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries, and that corruption extends from the US, Biden, etc. We have effected regime change in that country in the past, and basically installed the current government. The US has overplayed its hand…..the result of our having an installed government with certain idealogues. Whether this is purposeful (after all, one of the ideas of the ‘great reset’ is to remove the US as a superpower) or not, remains to be seen.
This is a great “Cliff Notes” description/analysis.. Sometimes, the in depth analyses go over heads (at least mine)..
Very interesting video.
I can’t get away from the feeling they have wars like this on the backburner that they push to the boil when they want to.
The world under Trump, let’s trade! More commerce! Prosperity! Riviera resort on North Korean Coast! The world under them, War, war, war.
I used to think wars were just something bad that happened because x or y. Now, I feel they do it on purpose.
Lots of these things, once you’ve seen, you can’t unsee.
How did they not push Putin into this? And how does it not favour everyone of them? From Biden who was no longer getting his cut to Macron who’s totally sidestepping our presidential elections (there are even articles calling for their cancellation).
The massive bad fall out is opera singers and dancers and classical musicians losing their careers. Like they have any kind of leverage.
And “les dindons de la farce”, the turkeys round the stuffing, the Ukrainian people, though lots of them now get free trains and visas to bring oligarchy here…
I wish them peace, prosperity and an honest government. But I repeat myself.
Why does everybody, especially the experts, including MacGregor, pretend that Russia and Poland (NATO) don’t already share a border? Yes, that little green blurb in the map between Poland and Lithuania is part of Russia. That blurb never left Russia.
NATO has bordered Russia since Clinton accepted Poland into NATO in 1999. (And Turkey had a border with the USSR when it joined NATO in 1952.)
Furthermore, Latvia and Estonia and Lithuania all share borders with Russia and became part of NATO under Bush in 2004. That little Russian blurb is now surrounded and cut off by NATO. And NATO already has been pushed up against the rest of Russia.
The Cold War never ended. The West has been grinding down the hapless Russians and dancing on the grave of the Soviet Union since the Berlin Wall came down.
Well, that is surely how the Russians see it.
All those new NATO lands are desperate to get out from under the Russian yoke, and to protect themselves from future Russian empire building. That is why they want to be part of NATO and the EU.
But just what is the western thinking in this deadly game?
.
Does that short little border guardable by Belarus look similar to you to the Ukraine-Russia border?
.
You aren’t looking in the right place. It is even smaller than Belarus. Look a little bit more to the west. It has Baltic Sea coastlines. And it is in no way guardable, but it is part of Russia.
The USSR bordered NATO since Turkey joined. But that went away when those lands left Russia. (But we did try adding part of those lands too, Georgia, extending NATO back to Russian borders, helping to spark another Russian war.)
Russia borders NATO since Poland joined.
And if you want to treat that little blurb as disposable and not a real part of Russia,
Russia borders NATO since Latvia and Estonia joined.
And NATO keeps gunning for Ukraine.
Rather relentless NATO aggression against Russia. After all, NATO must threaten EVERY Russian border it can reach.
And don’t doubt that NATO hasn’t been gunning for Belarus too. Win a few, lose a few, spark a few revolutions, spark a few wars. Whatever it takes.
Who’d of thunk that BAMN (By Any Means Necessary) would be employed by NATO against Russians? I thought it was to be employed against us by internal communists taking marching orders from good ole Joe. That’s Stalin, Joe Stalin. Not the American gaffe-a-tron.
Here is something you will not read on mainstream media that ties in with Macgregor’s clear analysis.
Before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, U.S. intelligence had predicted a blistering assault by Moscow that would quickly mobilize the vast Russian air power that its military assembled in order to dominate Ukraine’s skies.
But the first six days have confounded those expectations and instead seen Moscow act far more delicately with its air power, so much so that U.S. officials can’t exactly explain what’s driving Russia’s apparent risk-averse behavior. (Newsmax 1 March 2022)
Putin wanted Ukrainians to be ambivalent. As they were, remember military age males were more keen to get to the EU than stay and fight.
Use air power when it’s really needed. Bombing civilian targets get bad press and hardens their resistance when the inevitable siege/seizing of said civilian population centers comes about. It also takes away a major propaganda tool. Hence all the repurposed pictures and video we see on the twit, fakebook, boobtube and the propaganda news medias.
Unless we are hearing from credible, established and verified sources in Ukraine, we should take anything thing the MSM propaganda and social media gang with a very large block of salt.
All we really need to consider is …is it reasonable for the West to have their nuclear missiles on the border of Russia…..?
Would you consider that fair… reasonable… anti war and non provocative???
And lastly when an acquaintance promises not to do a specific thing and they lied….just how else should you react…….?
Personally I think Putin has behaved like I would under these circumstances!
‘is it reasonable for the West to have their nuclear missiles on the border of Russia…..?”
The nearest NATO nukes are in UK, France….and maybe a couple in Germany.
No-one ever suggested Ukraine was a potential NATO nuke storage.
Quite the opposite, regardless of what happens Ukraine is unstable….you don’t put nukes in unstable societies.
I remember talk of Ukraine getting nukes again
Where from?
Zelensky said it in a recent speech before the invasion
Nukes are in Turkey and some have reportedly passed through Romania. The NATO absolutists want them everywhere.
Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? I do I lived in the beltway of DC. Kennedy thought it was worth war to not allow Russian missiles close to our shore. Seems like NATO/Ukraine same thing.
Its astonishing some people don’t understand this.
Well, there’s always Incirlik AF Turkey.
.
Yes with a small correct. It’s not about “nukes” per se. (U.S. nukes already can reach everywhere on the globe. This isn’t 1960.)
.
But that takes time. Nukes in Ukraine could flatten Moscow without any warning or time to counter launch. Russia would just have to rely on mobile missile launchers and subs to retaliate.

As I said early on, Putin is showing great restraint. If there is any madness in what is happening, it is entirely coming from the same Western governments as have been leading the world in tyranny for the past year plus.
You can tell which side is really insane through the ever present projection used by one side.
Putin is processing this Ukraine operation much as what I envision Trump would do it. I think Trump would had dropped some strategic MOAB’s by now. People are being sold “Poor little Ukraine”. Ukraine is the money laundry home for every crooked leader in the World. The biggest crook of all being Joe Biden and his extended family.
None of our living generals have won a war.
They are also terrified of the Russian Army and would never fight it.
“Those guys are MEAN!“
I would be terrified too. What happens if the Russians don’t use the correct pronouns?

The end of the video gets to the heart of this kabuki theater……….
If China has sanctioned this move by Russia as the Colonel mentions then why ZERO outrage by Biden administration, NATO and the media against China???
Put another way for the math people……….
A = US
B= China
C = Russia
If A = B and B = C
Then doesn’t A = C?
More C = US oligarchy.
Sorry, A equals US oligarchy.

How about a lifetime supply of booze and prostitutes?
Then, what if somebody decided to pay the prostitutes to piss on the bed that Brandon slept on?
This entire affair seems like I am watching a mixed up Loony Tunes episode. One of the ones where Yosemite Sam keeps stepping over the line. He just has to. He can’t help himself. You challenge him with a line and he must defeat your challenge by crossing it.
But this warped version has one character unzipping a costume and attempting to switch places. Putin had the role of Bugs, drawing the line in the sand. Biden crossed the line. Then he dashed back, ripped off his Yosemite Sam suit, emerging with a Bugs suit, and pretended that Bugs Putin was Yosemite Putin, irrationally crossing the line. Mad Putin.
I am not going to accept any analysis of what is happening that does not recognize that we baited Putin into attacking by intentionally crossing his NATO in Ukraine red line, and made sure Putin knew it.
Not we, they. They have zero consent for this. There is literally no upside for us. They are not us.
We as in our leaders. Not NATO’s, but American. Yes, they stole the election. Yes, they installed an Obamian puppet ruler. (Why dignify this with what happened in Manchuria).
No, they don’t have our consent. No, they are not really us. We are much bigger than they greedy narrow minded tyrants ruling us.
And yes, there is no upside for us. But there are plenty of upsides for the authoritarians who are dictating over us. Both in dominance at home and in graft abroad.
But because we allow them to lead, they are our leaders and we are doing this.
To me, this is like walking into a bar in a strange town. Your’re sitting there drinking your beer and a fight breaks out in the corner. You figure you’ll finish your beer and leave. The guy next to you says “Oh it’s awful, the big guy is gonna kill the little guy. You look like a guy that can handle yourself. You should go break it up”
If you have a lick of sense, you say “Hey I’m not from around here. I don’t know you or them. There’s a dozen of you guys just standing around here. All y’all ought to be able to handle that guy together. I just came in here for a beer. I’m out.”
https://www.bitchute.com/video/1NTJ9Dwa4LcS/
Here is another point of view.
Caution, strong language.
Implicit in MacGregor’s argument is that the initial Putin plan to avoid unnecessary killing has failed, so Putin is moving on to plan B.
I come down on both sides of this. But I really can’t tell either way.
With Biden trying to get Z to flee, there may have been an agreement to cause Ukraine to collapse with just the threat of war, hence such a Putin plan A.
But when you commit to war it makes no sense to not seriously fight it. We all know that such useless ROE, (Rules of Engagement) can only assure that the enemy survives and make it look like you are losing. And we have decades of losing experience keeping our enemies alive with stupid ROE.
So is Russia also hamstrung with fatal political considerations? Even if it is for the foreign public? If so, changing plans is admitting defeat in the propaganda war.
So, is Putin really changing plans?
My gut tells me No. This feels like a continuation of a multi step plan.
But feels and guts aren’t definitive, and who am I to disagree with experienced military?
On the other hand, there isn’t a million man army to throw across the border to do everything at once, with a massive supply chain that can support it all.
And they haven’t had half a year to get everything ready in advance, even if the plans already existed.
As Rumsfield said, you go to war with the army you have. And there are a lot of things that you have to lay the groundwork for. Schwarzkopf spent a month preparing the ground for his invasion of Kuwait and Iraq. What a luxury. Russia has chosen to combine invasion with preparatory bombardments. It is always important not to get ahead of yourself in these affairs.
Also, they have held back much of their army. It was there for the initial plan but not being used. And there is still more in reserve. This can be out of necessity. ‘It will take a week before we have the ability to send in the second third of our invasion forces.’. Or it can be part of a strategy laid out in advance.
Well, the point is that we have too little to go on to properly assess what is happening ala team Putin. We don’t even get to hear the Putin propaganda to see subtle shifts in lies that accompany setbacks.
Maybe there is a secret source for the leaders to learn what is going on. But all we get from them is lying propaganda, not accurate reports. And maybe MacGregor is tied in to that secret knowledge, leaking it to us. Or maybe, he is being used by the leaders, sending messages about Midway being short on water. Who knows, there are just too many possibilities.
That is why I am sticking with my feels and my guts. There is a plan. No plan survives first contact, but this plan is still unfolding to Putin’s desires even with fighting and enemy resistance. Since we don’t know that plan, we can’t know if it is on schedule or delayed. Or if important objectives are being achieved or denied.
We do have a good show being put on by an actor, a good imitation and amalgam of past American heroes. ‘we have the enemy right where we want them, they can’t get away from us now that we are surrounded’, ‘surrender? tell them nuts!’, ‘i regret that I have but one life to give for my country’, and so forth.
Ukraine has belonged to Russia for hundreds of years. Catherine the Great`s empire included Ukraine. Ukraine is a new country since about 1991 after the fall of the USSR.
Many of the people today still have cultural and social ties to Russia. Sentimentally, much of Ukraine does not hate Russia. Putin is not attacking civilians, just the fighting Ukraine army if they bomb or shoot the Russian Army. If civilians are killed, it is because the Ukrainian army has embedded themselves in civilian neighborhoods while attacking the Russian army. The Russians will take out the Ukrainian army if fired upon no matter where they are.
The Russians want to maintain good relations with the Ukrainian population when they are done and are deliberately leaving vital infrastructure intact for the population while attempting to diffuse the Ukrainian army.
Ukraine has been a difficult Bunch to rule. But they have been mostly ruled since the Kiev Rus broke up. Much, much later, Lithuania and Poland ruled the land out to the Dnieper. But you are right, most of today’s Ukraine has been part of Russia starting about the time we forged our Constitution. The other side of the river has been Russian much longer.
But parts have been ruled by other countries from time to time like Austro Hungary, and Romania, and Poland once again.
That still didn’t make it Russian. They haven’t always submitted willingly. To anybody. And they tried to be independent after WWI. That is why Stalin spent so much effort crushing them. He couldn’t afford to let them even think of revolt. Sort of preemptive retaliation. Which of course was followed by real retaliation when Stalin got back control. Not just retaliation for those fighting against him, but retaliation for daring to survive under Hitler. Should have given their lives to oust Hitler. If you lived than you are a traitor.
And what we have today as Ukraine is a stitched together pastiche, put together by various Soviet rulers, with the last additions added by Khrushchev, who was Ukrainian.
Not exactly a recipe for unity. But it is what it is.
I agree. I too felt MacGregor was wrong on this. We shall see.
Jesus said: Recognize what is before you, and what is hidden from you will be revealed to you; for there is nothing hidden that will not be made manifest.
Gospel of Thomas
The gospel of Thomas was hidden from us. But here it is being quoted. Too bad its supporters lost the fight to have it considered as true scripture and included in the bible.
But wasn’t that their point all along. I mean keeping a collection of secret sayings and secret teachings. Gnostics were elitist nuts preying on the Church of Christ. Predating on belief with their secret knowledge, warping some few away from the beliefs as taught by Peter and Paul. Even throwing in a Gospel of Mary.
Too bad that they truly didn’t recognize the truth before them, turning away to secrets.
That would have been a good scripture to throw back in their face. But they kept it hidden.
Russia gets eastern Ukraine and after many civilian deaths overturns Ukrainian elected government.
NATO will not defend but it does not mean countries will not sanction Russia for a long time.
This is not Crimea.
Can China step in and offer Russia all they lost by invading Ukraine and overturning a democratically elected government?
Professionals do logistics.
Whatever we think of Putin, he is a “pro” – and, unlike our woke fools, he is a serious person.
Douglas MacGregor is a great American and only one of the few people I will listen to on foreign conflicts such as Ukraine sine he is objective and fact based and not a globalist propagandist and Russophobe like so many including on FOX News.
We were sent as cannon fodder. We’re killing peaceful people’: Weeping Russian POWs say they had no idea they were being sent to war and were made ‘to attack people defending their territory’
Soldiers, speaking in video posted to the Ukraine security services’ Facebook page, said ‘we were sent as cannon fodder’ and warned ‘we’re killing peaceful people’.
‘This is not our war. Mothers and wives, collect your husbands. There is no need to be here,’ an injured soldier sat in front of a Ukrainian flag was filmed saying.
Other footage shows captured a handcuffed Russian prisoner crying over the death and destruction wrought by the war, saying: ‘They don’t even pick up the corpses, there are no funerals’.
At least one of the soldiers urged Kyiv and Moscow to evacuate children from the warzone while another warned ‘no-one wants war’.
It comes after a Russian soldier allegedly texted home telling his mother: ‘All I want now is to kill myself’, six days after Moscow ordered its forces into Ukraine.

Your BS detector is out of calibration.
Yellow Journalism: Came about with William Randolph Hearst. He understood the power of sensationalism, if it bleeds it leads, half-truths to effect a result aka Fake News. This didn’t start with Hearst, but was institutionalized with Hearst and what became his newspaper empire. He became a kingmaker and a world class muckraker.
https://www.pbs.org/crucible/journalism.html
“The Spanish-American War is often referred to as the first “media war.” During the 1890s, journalism that sensationalized—and sometimes even manufactured—dramatic events was a powerful force that helped propel the United States into war with Spain. Led by newspaper owners William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer, journalism of the 1890s used melodrama, romance, and hyperbole to sell millions of newspapers–a style that became known as yellow journalism. “
Now they can win a Pulitzer for their bull sh_it, see the Russia hoax. Thanks a pant load William & Joseph.

Got to keep appearances and help move the con game along. While he’s putting up a real good front, I’m betting Zelensky is secretly soiling himself over what might happen.
It is also the dividing line between pro Russian vs pro Western Ukrainians. (Not that there aren’t both on both sides, but those are the regions where each side is dominant.
It was the historical borderline between Poland and Russia before Russia expanded and Poland was dismembered.
But this course guarantees that the remainder is EU and NATO. He won’t get to declare that they must be neutral, drawing a new red line to spill blood over.
He will get at most, a pro-Russian set of buffer states with NATO advancing further east, just not up against Russia. Yet.
And if he wants to maintain access to Crimea, he is going to have to expand Russia in the southern part of Ukraine.
Only by making all of eastern Ukraine part of Russia does Putin assure himself of security goals.
Another question to ask is ‘What are Biden’s goals?’
Biden manipulated Russia into starting this war after all. And it wasn’t so that Putin could set the terms of how it ends.
It could be a feckless wag the dog situation, making sure other people die so that he can win politically. A stupid act that has cascaded out of control with an avalanche of stupid careening down upon the world.
But there seems to be a strong coordinated international effort to force Russia’s collapse, possibly removing Putin. This may be what was meant when they said Putin couldn’t win.
On the other hand, it is always going to take boots on the ground to win a war. Political isolation, actual blockades, and even air power are yet to win a war in isolation. And that is something that we are not willing to do. Yet. At least not until Russia gives up its nukes.
Goals? That`s an easy one. More money laundering funds for DoD and NATO.
Up to this point Big Pharma has been getting all the big govt contracts. MIC feels left out and seized the opportunity.
No more complicated than that.
Yes! Good point .
I don’t feel they have an end game, the whole point seems to be spill as much blood and treasure as possible so they can get richer. I feel this is about GRAFT.
When did the US last win a war?
So not only is he leading his country during an invasion, he is simultaneously doing tax reform…
I love this guy!
When he moves into the Baltic’s, Brandon will say we didn’t know he would do this just like the Omicron !
Should the worst case scenario happen… battle tip for those stuck in blue cities: 😉
I just bought a map for Northern France, if I need to get to Britain (I figure if Blighty is gone, everything else will be). Cos GPS will go.
Too flammable !
Is poop flammable?
Cover it in urine and feces.
MacGreggor called him “Mr. Biden!!” and called the Ukraine issue as a fantasy! ! 😂😂😂😂
MacGreggor knows why US politicians are not calling out China but chose not to say. That coy smile said it all!
Wow and actually cool headed analysis of reality! Looks Like China will be the ultimate winner here, however, I agree with McGregor that China basically approved this as precedence for Taiwan. No sanctions against China, Russia, becomes more dependent on China, helping China in their goals to feed EU and build the silk road through southern Russia. And if by chance this thing goes nuclear, China will be the only one standing with the most advanced army, weapons, etc. Just like the USA after WW2.
Canada, the USA and EU leaders have all become toxic and see their futures being voted out. The MSM is completely worthless, and even toxic and a real threat to their countries. They are the enemies of their associated populations and will either need to change or be eliminated.
To all the propagandists posting here all last night, is this how it’s done?
I agree, the U government isn’t exactly covering itself in glory.
Anyone know if Jennifer Griffins head has yet exploded ????
zelensky..an actor made up hero
He’s degenerate trash. If the Ukranian people actually voted for this, I’m not too sympathetic.
Why did President Trump give Javelin missiles to Ukraine instead of blankets? President Trump declared he would not have let Putin take Crimea and he wouldn’t have let Putin take Eastern Ukraine either.
Obviously, Putin saw a weakness in the pathetic and corrupt Biden administration. Because I didn’t see the crying when President Trump was president and was supplying Ukraine despite PT declaring NATO obsolete.
So, Putin has been planning this for a long time. I’m sure China has their plans on their imminent takeover of Taiwan. Doesn’t mean the Taiwanese actually want this, and neither do the Ukrainians.
Sounds like the Biden administration will roll over just like Obama. All of it is corrupt, as we all know. But the Ukrainian people didn’t want this.
I had another conversation with my brother’s widow yesterday evening. Her mother and other family are in a small town south of Kharkov. She also has friends and family in Russia. She said that most in her small town were pro-Russia, at least to be in friendly relations, that is before Feb 24, she says now it’s all changed. They don’t want to be taken over by Russia. They are bombing in Kharkov, not bombing in her hometown. Her mother lives by herself on the 6th floor and it’s too late to flee anywhere. They are scared if they start bombing there and there is no shelter. She also said three of her Russian friends have apologized to her, two of them cried to her. One is afraid what people will think of the Russian people because of Putin now.
No matter what we think of NATO or the WEF or George Soros or Hillary Clinton or the EU, this is a hostile takeover of a sovereign nation by Putin and as far as I’m concerned, his reputation is done, he cannot be trusted, he is not an ally, he is allied with China.
My sister in law is now an American citizen. And she’s working on getting her mother over here to the U.S., I don’t know what progress has been made the last couple years. But I’m sure she’ll get her aunt, uncle, cousin and his family over here, too, if they will now be under Russian control. So here’s your chain migration and it won’t be stopped under Biden.
I’m noticing a shift in the content of online shilling, the last couple days. More about eastern Ukraine, as opposed to the all day Z’sky/Kiev propaganda of the first 3-4 days. Your post would be similar to what I’ve seen on the increase. Not saying you’re a shill, just making an observation.
I do believe that any new easterly focused shilling increase would be related to the actual strategic situation. Shills shill/propagandize as a response to real data. Macgregor thinks the strategic focus is in the east. The theorized fresh shilling would support that.
Hey, I’m allowed to try to see through the fog of war same as everybody else!
Oh, please, I’m a long time poster and they know who I am on here but I don’t recall your name.
You don’t want to hear about real people over there. I’m not on the best of terms with my brother’s widow due to her and my late brother trying to get into my widowed father’s stuff after my mother died but I am asking about her family about 150 km south of Kharkov.
I’m asking her the real story of people and the sentiments because what I see here is pro-Putin shilling for his hostile takeover and trying to justify it. How’d you like it if China took over our country, no matter how corrupt our government is.
There are NO good guys, everyone is trying to find a hero somewhere, and the only ones that are good, have no power to really do anything, and even then, they have their weaknesses, see Rand Paul, who would not recess to allow appointments.
As far as I’m concerned, there’s been a heck of a lot of Putin shilling on here the past 6 years. Putin’s a family man, Putin’s for Christian values, Putin believes in the nation state. Well, Putin is taking over a sovereign nation.
I am against globalism, and all I said before, it’s a corrupt rotten totalitarian mess, but the Ukrainian people are getting screwed. I am asking my sister in law what the real Ukrainians think and not the social media propaganda and Putin has pissed off both Ukrainians and Russians in this endeavor.
And you hadn’t addressed President Trump’s arming Ukraine, he defended it also, saying how he’s done so much more than Obama did, during his impeachment over a perfect phone call.
I don’t look for a hero. I know who my enemies are, though, and Putin isn’t on the list. Neither is the people of Ukraine. Their corrupt govt and ours are on it for sure, and if they’re smart, on theirs too.
If you’re talking with relatives in the east, ask why their corrupt govt has been shelling those 2 provinces for 8 years, killing 12-13,000 people.
I couldn’t edit, you didn’t exactly accuse me of being a shill, so I’m sorry for my own hostile tone, but stand by the rest of it.
Gorka shilling for the MIC the last couple days has me greatly disappointed. I used to turn off Hannity on the radio for Gorka, no more.
They’re all just streetwalkers with a microphone.
Look where they actually live, that’s the tell. That’s who they prefer to associate with.
There’s a reason Rush lived in Florida, and it wasn’t just taxes.
